Introduction
[The Digital World]

"I had a dream. That one day the Digital World would hold no fear of the unknown, of the darkness that crept in every corner. To fulfill that dream, I set out on a journey to grow stronger, and gather allies to help me on my quest." A voice said. "For many months I traversed the farthest reaches of the Digital World, growing stronger each passing day. Slowly I began to find those who shared the same dream as I, and we began to travel together."

A brief pause, then the voice continued. "Soon our group had grown, and together we trained and grew stronger, stronger than we would have ever been apart. We faced trials and evil together, and achieved what none before had. We had united the Digital World, and ensured an era of peace and prosperity. We worked from then on to keep that peace... but it was never to last..."

Visions in the form of a kind of slide show begin to appear. "The Harmonious Ones showed me the destiny of many different Digital Realms apart from this one, each unique yet suffering the same fate. Eternal Darkness would reign, until a light of hope in the form of strange creatures called Humans, who were paired with, or sometimes even became, Digimon. I knew then what I had to do."

"I began to create devices, with the aid of the Harmonious Ones, that could be sent into the Human Realm, as a last resort in our worlds darkest hour. Most of my group sided with me, but one swayed from our path, and eventually broke ties with us, believing Digimon able to protect their own world without outside intervention. While we brushed it off at first, we never realized how deadly the consequences would be..."

[Fall of Sector Zero]

Four figures stood together in a small room. As it shook from an explosion overhead, three looked towards the fourth before them, who held several small devices in their hand. "Now... now is the time... our world is in anarchy, and we are powerless to stop the fighting without taking countless innocent lives. The fate of our world... is out of our hands." The figure stated, the devices floating from their hand and shooting out into the night sky in beams of light.

"What do we do now, Alphamon?" Asked one of the three figures. "Omegamon, Imperialdramon, Dukemon..." Alphamon replied, as a figure entered the room. "... Susanoomon." The four raised their weapons and prepared for combat, as more Digimon began charging the room...

Dustin Coleman and Luna Bishop
[Colorado, U.S.A.]

It's the middle of the night, and two children are fast asleep in their beds as two lights seem to phase through the single window and circle around them. As they circled, the children would experience a most peculiar dream.

Although separate, they both experienced it from the same point of view. It was War. Strange Creatures did battle with one another in combat to the death. The scene shifts to an eerie image of a massive figure, and shifts again to several small floating devices. One of which would fly down to each of them, before everything would go black.

[The Next Day...]

The two were up bright and early the next day, as they went for an early morning walk through the woods near their house. These were Dustin Coleman, an orphaned child who had fallen under the care of the Bishop Family, and Luna Bishop, the biological daughter of the Bishops. Although they weren't related by blood, they treated each other like siblings.

"I had the weirdest dream last night, ya know?" Luna said as the two stopped near the base of a massive Oak Tree they would often climb. "Same here. It was kinda freaky, these monster things were going at it with each other..." He began, Luna looking up at him dumbfounded. "... And a strange shadow figure thing?" She asked, Dustin looking back surprised. "... And some weird phone thing flying into my hands..."

The two were speechless. "There's no way... it wasn't... was it?" Luna asked. Dustin shrugged. "Dunno. It's kind of a blur, now. Whatever." He replied. "Whatever? What do you mean by that? Isn't it a bit strange to you?" She asked. "I've heard stranger..." He started, then stopped and pointed behind Luna. "... I'm not the only one who sees... that... am I?" He asked.

Looking behind her, Luna would jump up from her seat on the root of the tree as two strange lights, one Purple one Blue, were floating in midair on either side of the tree. "Okay... now this is getting scary. Let's get out of here..." She said, Dustin stopping her. "Wait. Let's figure out what these things are..."

"Luna. Dustin."

The voice came from nowhere, the two kids falling silent as their gaze fell upon the two lights.

"Our World is in Great Peril. We Have Searched Far and Wide For Those Who Can Help Save Us. You Have The Power Within You. Will You Help Us?"

The Lights began to change, and eventually they formed into strange devices like those seen in the kids dreams. Looking at each other, the two kids wondered what to do next. As curiosity gained the upper hand, Dustin reached out and took the device out of the air. Looking it over, it didn't seem to do anything. Seeing the lack of response, Luna grabbed the second one. Again, nothing.

"What are these things? I've seen them before..." She said. "Yeah, I saw them in that crazy dream last night." He replied, shaking it. "I wonder if anyone else knows anything about these." Luna said, Dustin nodding. "Yeah, let's go look on the internet. Maybe someone knows something on there." The two started heading back for the house, in hopes of discovering more about the strange devices.

Mia Midtown

Mimi sat up straight in her bed. She was only half awake, still shaking off the fuzzy feeling. "That was odd..." She mumbled to herself, slightly shaken by the more vivid details of the dream. "...I wonder why they were all named mon?" With a slight shrug, Mimi brushed off the memory. Getting up and getting dressed, she went downstairs to find her mother preparing a breakfast suiting a conqueror like Mimi. She happily ate the breakfast, quickly feeling revitalized. Before she left, her mother handed her a bag of snacks to share with the other kids. What a great servant she was. What should a kid do without their snacks, after all?

With her backpack full of snacks, a package of bandages, and a seemingly misplaced pair of jeans, Mimi went outside. Outside, she saw there was no one else around yet. Usually there'd be several kids waiting to follow her around. Shrugging off the oddity, she headed to the grove where she usually gathered the others before embarking on her adventures. As she arrived there, she was once again surprised to find no one present. Climbing in the tree, higher than she was allowed to go, as she usually would, Mimi sat down on a thick branch.

"Odd." Would be her only comment before she noticed the shining light in front of her. Ever stranger was when some kind of...tiny cellphone? Materialized from it. After rubbing her eyes, Mimi could still see it. She piched herself, letting out a short "OW!" as she realized she'd sqeeuzed to hard. The odd device was still there however. When a voice resounded from its general direction, Mimi jumped a little, before tilting off the branch...

Now staring at the device upside down, nothing really came to mind. The voice had said something about great peril, though, that was odd to her, very odd. Frowning at the device from her upside-down position, she figured she might as well see if it's real, since clearly she was awake. Reaching for the device, she found out it was just too far away. Mimi climbed back on top of the branch and carefully made her way over to the mysterious machine. As she once more reached for it, she was slightly disappointed. She now had it in her hand, but nothing special happened yet, or at least, she didn't feel particularly special. She figured speaking to whatever had spoken to her would be the least she should do. "Um, hello? Mysterious, dramatic voice? What was that all about?" She'd continue poking the device, to no avail, until she eventually made a breakthrough. She finally realized why no one was here. They'd told her they would have to go to some picture thing, most of them, anyway, so she'd have to spend the day without them.

Cyrus Tucker

The eruption of noises and cries of war were enough to pierce his eardrums. His eyes dilated once he mustered up the courage to open them. Towering infernos blazed across the skies, earthquakes with massive spiral stalagmites bursting from the ground and causing the disturbing creatures to sink into the depths of an abyss, tidal waves, lighting storms and a horizon of missiles all appearing out of nowhere. Helplessly adrift in the middle of an unfamiliar sky, looking down at the chaos, like some kind of omnipotent presence. Blinking with a nervous sweat dripping down to the tip of his nose, impulsively licking it off and tasting the salt. His heart was pounding, this couldn't be real but something compelled him to keep watching. This ongoing battle outstretched his field of vision, what was most concerning, was the appearance that it would never cease. "What on earth is happening here?" Cyrus questioned. Suddenly, hearing a loud crashing sound.

He nearly catapulted out of his bed, smashing the front of his forehead into the cymbal being held by his younger sister standing in middle of his bed. Letting out a yell before clutching his forehead, glaring up at the pleased grin of his sister. Quickly calming down and rubbing his tender forehead, glaring at her while still half asleep. "Why the hell are you on my bed?"

"Waking you up, mom is gone and she told us to wait for you to wake up, so you could make us something to eat." She answered. Cyrus exhaled longingly and stood upright and grabbed his sister while she let out shriek followed by laughter as he mercilessly tickled her stomach. "Stop it! T-that tickles!" She pleaded through laughs. He smiled eventually stopping, then quickly pulling some clothes from his closet.

"Alright, let me shower first. I'll make everyone the frozen pizzas." Cyrus replied in a casual demeanor throwing his outfit over his shoulder, glancing over to her.

"Yay! Sorry for hitting your head." She quickly apologized, "Big bro is making pizza!" She called out while going through the hallway and down the stairs. He looked at himself into his mirror to inspect if he had any visible bump on his forehead, before pulling of his crumpled up bed sheets spotting something hidden beneath the sheets. Appearing to be some kind of small colorful plastic device.

"What...is this?" He questioned staring at it but shrugged it off and carried that and his outfit into the bathroom down the hallway, closing and locking the door. Getting a shower prepared and dumping everything on the sink with the strange device resting on top. The hot water started pouring down while he stretched himself out, though relaxing his body, his mind was stuck analyzing the dream, it hadn't been forgotten like most normally would. He could still recall it in precise detail. "I've never had such a strange dream before..." He muttered softly, "Oh, what does it matter? I shouldn't get so worked up over nothing." He declared before massaging his scalp with sweet strawberry smelling shampoo.

"Cyrus! I need you to answer me!" The thunderous voice called out of nowhere, causing him to accidentally collide the back of his head against the wall from his sudden movement. Blinding light flashed throughout the bathroom, vanishing as fast as appeared. Cutting his leisure time short, stepping out of the shower and searching for the voice that called out his name, before slightly groaning.

"Well...at least the front of my head doesn't hurt anymore." Cyrus quietly uttered.

Nicole Brooks

“That was a weird dream...” was the first thing Nicole thought. She concentrated on listening to a conversation coming from the other room that was barely audible, sitting up from the couch and wandering through the darkness without any trouble, having a familiarity with their living room. She continued onward, toward the light from the distant end of a familiar hallway. Pushing the door open letting out soft creaks before casually peaking inside, observing a woman with her back turned to her, currently on the phone.

"Yeah, she's still asleep. We stayed up all night and watched movies together. No, there's no trouble. She's a very sweet girl...I don't have a problem with you picking her after work, she can stay until the afternoon." The woman answered in a hushed voice while holding the phone to her ear. Nicole remained silent while turning her attention to the stove cooking something in a large graphite colored pot. Suddenly, the woman turned and greeted Nicole with a warm smile. “Morning dear, I was just talking to your mother. You wouldn't mind spending some more time here until she got off work would you?” The woman asked. Nicole smiled and grabbed one the chairs and sat down.

“I had a dream last night...can I tell you about it?” Nicole asked still fixated on the imagery. The woman quickly lowered the heat, as her pot was beginning to boil over. “Sure, dear.” The woman cheerfully replied, starting to stir with a large wooden spoon. What proceeded was an endlessly prolonged gabbing about Nicole's dream, every sentence had to explained with several others explaining how strange it was. Nicole practically couldn't help herself, until she was interrupted with a bowl of food placed in front of her, while both suddenly heard the doorbell ringing...

“I'll be right back dear.” The woman assured handing her some silverware and a glass of fruit juice. Nicole thanked her and started eating the bowl of chicken noodle soup, slurping the warm broth. Surprised when some peculiar device materialized from a ball of light that suddenly appeared from her, she recognized it from her dream. She grabbed it and starting fiddling with the buttons to turn it on. “This was from my dream...it's even the same color...could my dream-be real?”

Mirko Dubrinic

[Nighttime - Bedroom]

Mirko was huddled under his covers reading on the tablet some stories. The descriptions were giving him shivers and he really started to hate it. What did he hate? The stupid well written story that talk about monsters in the fog. He hated his best friend from soccer's club who dared him to read it till the end. And for good last he hated himself for even accepting the dare and even more for being curious enough to actually be reading it and not the comments that were so nicely summing it up.

"Curiosity killed the cat." He whispered to himself, hoping to get some comfort out the sound of his voice, possible break the immersion seeing the end of the story in sight. The few last sentences made Mirko whimpered. He felt proud for going through but a much bigger part of him felt simple uneasy. He KNEW it was just made up... But it still gave him shivers. He left the light of his tablet on as he closed his eyes, it was late and he had to wake up early.

The dreams that followed were about monsters and in a strange world. They fought with each other, armies clashing and many of them falling. Mirko felt captivated by the horrors and unable to look away. Those creatures were dying at each other hand. It was war. A war between monsters, and an eerie shadow came to his attention big and dangerous looming for moments before colorful lights came in view. Those lights felt comforting, trustworthy. Calling out to him, as it moved towards him. Then came the darkness.

[Morning - On the way to school]

Mirko stifled another yawn. "Dont forget your scarf, its cold in the morning." To say he felt sleepy, was a understatement he got barely four hours of sleep, most of the night he spent awake attempting not to think about what he read just hours before. Or the dream that woke him up even earlier. There was something about it. It felt so realistic, yet the boy blamed the dream on the story he had been reading because how else could he think up about a monster war... Thougth the creepy story didnt mention the mon monsters...

"I will mom. Should I buy anything on the way home?" Mirko questioned as he tied his shoes, checking one more time if he had everything in his second bag for his soccer training. There was the change of clothes, towel and shoes as well as a lunch package as he was spending the whole day out the house, his books were in his backpack proudly showing off the logo of his favorite club.

"Yes. I wrote it down for you. " His mom walked over and gave him a list with his wallet and a kiss on his forehead. His dad had already left the house in half past four this morning having a shooting. Mirko heard him leave, as he was awake thinking about the lights he saw in his dream. Mom told him that dad promised to come in time for dinner and Mirko was excited to hear which people his dad meet.

The boy grabbed his favorite lucky ball and run out. Only to slow in his step and gulp, there was fog in the morning. The story from last night poping on the front of his mind. The strange creatures fighting to death on his formind. Mirko wondered if those creatures were just out his view hidden behind the blanket of fog. That would be silly, Mirko started running to warm up and keep his mind off it. It worked well enough, he enjoyed running alongside the river bank. Well that was until some colorful light he spotted in front of him.

He halfway awaited some tall figure to be now atop of him trying to eat him. Or that big shadow to appear out the fog. He looked around moving closer to the light. No one was around.

Instead he heard a voice. Mirko jumped a bit in fright, eyes big.

As he listened to what the voice had to say, Mirko shoulder relaxed and he didnt appear ready to run away at full speed. Will he help them? Mirko blinked, the dream war that felt more than realistic coming to mind... All those poor creatures suffering...
"I want to help. To stop it." He spoke thinking which eleven year old didnt dream to be a hero, but even as he wrapped his fingers around the device that formed out the light he knew that this more than a game.

Nothing happened.

Mirko halfway awaited to be whisked away to a battle field or something. His dream must been a vision or something along the lines. It was real, it couldnt be anything else but real now that he was holding the device in his hand. He started running towards his school. He arrived in time for his classes and sitting in his history class Mirko wondering how exactly was he meant to help. What power did he have? Flight? Or super strength? Or super speed, that one would be his personal pick. Or shooting fireballs, because that just cool.

The boy mind was full of thoughts, as he ever so often checked the device as if awaiting for it to do something, or tell him what to do.

Artemis O'Connor - Gym

Raising her arm, she indicated she was ready. After being given the OK, Artemis started her approach, picking up speed as she ran. High jump was always one of her best disciplines and right now she was attacking a 160 centimeters bar. She always made it here, but then it was more of a roll of a dice whether she would pass or not. It annoyed her to no end that something so important for this such as her height was not in her control and something she could improve... Well unless you experimented with platform boots, but that reeked of broken ankles and wasn't exactly sporty.

She watched the blasted bar approach, laughing her straight in the eyes which were level with it. With a grunt of effort she flopped herself over, and things started happening.

She wasn't sure what it was that she was seeing. IT looked like some sort of large, red draconic robot. It seemed to be in a fight with a creature full of bright colors - to which it was losing badly. One blow later, the large robot thing split into a tiny purple dragon and a human woman of all things. Both of them slammed into the ground, and the human seemed to look at her directly, and spoke with a thick russian accent: "Tis up too yoo now." Then the other creature approached, raised it's foot and-

-Artemis slammed onto the mat, the pole falling form the stands and giving her a good whack on the head for good measure. What the heck?! Random insane visions were not allowed to mess up her performance! What was that even- The girl shook her head and went bakc to try another time.

It was not to be. The weird vision burdened her thoughts and she was unable to focus enough, failing the jump two more times and falling out of the competition. What finally made her think that her head was wrong in some way was when she found a strange phone in her locker. She wondered briefly whether to take it ot to give it to lost and found, but curiosity nagged at her enough to look if anyone was looking in her direction and then drop it into her bag and head home.

Dustin Coleman and Luna Bishop
[Colorado, U.S.A.]

After grabbing a small snack and drink after their return home, the two children sat down in front of the computer as Dustin booted it up. "Well, what should we do anyways? Just look up on Google 'Strange Phone Thing That Came Out of a Light and Spoke To Us', or what?" He asked, looking over to Luna. "Well I don't know... what about those dreams?" She asked, Dustin taking a minute to think. "That doesn't get us anywhere... I doubt there's anything about monsters having some kind of war that isn't sci-fi." He replied.

As he opened up the internet browser, the strange devices lit up, and almost automatically the search engine was filled with different text. "What the..." Dustin said as he looked through the different words. "Digimon? Digital World... Council... War... Chosen Humans?" Luna read aloud as the text ceased, and the web page suddenly changed, the screen being enveloped in color, like a rainbow. "What's happening..." Dustin said as the devices in their hands lit up brighter and brighter.

"I don't know, but I think they want us to hold them up to the screen!" Luna said, looking at Dustin. "Why do you say that?" He asked. "Just a feeling... but hey, what's the harm?" She asked, Dustin nodding. "Alright, let's see what happens." Holding the blue device in his hand towards the screen, and Luna holding hers the same, the light became blinding. Suddenly their bodies felt weightless, and as the looked around themselves they seemed to be in some kind of yellow tube. Before they could even begin to question what was happening...

"THUD."

The computer which the two had been in front of powered down. Nothing but empty chairs remained in the room. The children had been whisked away by a strange power, thrust into a world they would know nothing about...

[Digital World - Sector 50]

What felt like hours later, the two children finally began to awaken. Dustin pushed himself up off the ground, rubbing the back of his head. "Ouch... I'm never listening to you agai..." He started, opening his eyes and looking around him. "Uh... Luna... please tell me I'm still asleep..." He said, shaking the girl next to him as she roused. "Come on, it's a Saturd..." She stopped mid-sentence, gazing at the world around her now. "Wh-where are we?" She asked.

"Good, so I'm not the only one seeing this... OW!" He said as Luna drew her hand away. "What was that for?!" He said angrily. "To make sure you were real, and this was real... OUCH!" She cried out as Dustin did the same. "Okay, so we're both real, we're both awake, and we both have no clue where we are or what just happened..." He said, feeling something under his hand. Picking it up, he found it was the strange device from before, only it seemed to be working now.

"Well we still have these things..." He said, Luna looking down and spying hers. "Yeah, and they're on now... or something... we still have no idea what these things are either..." She said, trying to get a grasp on the devices. Dustin was on his feet, surveying the surroundings. It was beautiful, like a scene from a movie. Colorful plants and trees, with water everywhere. It looked like what one would describe as paradise.

Cyrus Tucker

The pizza had been served and devoured until their wasn't a single slice remaining. The siblings all wiped the mouths with several paper napkins after they licked the pizza sauce from their lips and rubbed their satiated bellies. Cyrus collected and stacked the dirty dishes submerging them in soapy water filling the sink and the table was quickly wiped clean with a warm rag. Two of them immediately left to fight over which channel was going to be on the television, with their arguments loud enough to be heard from their dining room.

“Cut it out you two, mom's going to home soon and she doesn't need to hear your bickering.” Cyrus called out watching the one who had woken him up, pushing the chairs back toward the table. Cyrus put his hand on her head and petted it a bit causing her to look up and smile. “I got the rest, thanks for helping.” Watching her leave while he started scrubbing the dishes, including the ones leftover from yesterday with the rough side of a sponge. Hearing that the arguing had stopped and after finally completing his cleaning, letting out a brief sigh. Cyrus walked through the hallway spotting his siblings watching some cartoons, sitting down and staying calm for the most part. Quietly heading to his bedroom and sitting down by his desk, starting his laptop and instantly going to a search bar to investigate the strange device that appeared while showering. Cyrus pulled the device from his pocket and rested on his desk.

“Wonder what this little gadget is suppose to do?” Cyrus pondered not discovering anything online that matched his suggestions. Suddenly, the laptop and digivice started glowing , nearly covering the bedroom in blinding white light. Which caused him to grab the digivice which was getting quite warm in his hands. “Are they overheating by being in the same proximity?” Cyrus thought before suddenly feeling gravity dragging him closer to his laptop. “Not good!” Within an instant Cyrus vanished from his bedroom, the moment he opened his eyes noticing he was standing in the middle of a sprawling blossoming meadow with various exotic plant life with primary colors.

Cyrus held his head as the harsh breeze nearly blowing off his hat. He gawked at his surroundings, his nose twitching from the sudden strong flowery aromas that nearly caused him to sneeze. He blinked and rubbed his eyes but everything remained. “Well I'm clearly not dreaming...did I really just experience teleportation?” Cyrus questioned aloud, sticking his index finger in his mouth and sticking it up into the air and waiting for a moment. “The wind is blowing west, the opposite direction it was back home. It's a lot stronger too and it was completely overcast...” While he stared up at the completely clear blue sky, scratching the back of his head. Taking a moment to process the possibilities, pulling out the device that somehow was back into his pocket. He rubbed his chin before reaching into his other pocket and pulling out a case of gum, smiling briefly that he still had that. Throwing a couple pieces in his mouth and chewing them, walking around a bit while analyzing his current situation for answers.

“Did this device come from this world? Then did the device send me here? Is this an accident or on purpose? I have a strange feeling like I've been chosen and just got sucked into a completely differently world...meaning I'll probably come across some colorful characters as I try to find my way back home.” Cyrus speculated. Suddenly images popped into his head, letting out a big gulp. “I just really hope this world doesn't have any evil flying monkeys and talking lions...” Cyrus nervously laughed with his voice cracking in between words.

Firamon

Every Otamamon and Gekomon had gathered together from their small village in the middle of the dense woods, bordering a fast flowing river that had been completely barricaded with a dam. As they were all clamoring beside Firamon who simply smiled at them all.

“Thanks a lot mister!” Gekomon exclaimed with a nasally tone.

“Yeah, you helped us for so long. Are you sure you didn't want anything?” An Otamamon asked in a high pitched feminine voice. The Firamon shook his head slightly.

“Yes, it's a warrior's job to provide his assistant without the demand for compensation. My reward is working hard and you're kind words are plenty.” Firamon stated with a boisterous voice. Firamon turned around and started walking away when the Gekomon had quickly approached him. “Wait, you're leaving so soon? I mean...our village usually doesn't like outsiders-but you're one of the good guys! You're welcome back anytime.” Gekomon called out before Firamon turned around to face them.

“I appreciate the offer, but I must go and continue searching for my purpose. I'm hoping to find others I can help like your village.” Firamon stated. Gekomon simply grinned and rubbed the back of his head.

“Well then-break a leg Firamon!” Gekomon commented. Firamon stared oddly and tilted his head. “Hmm...that's a slightly rude thing to say.” Firamon uttered. Gekomon mildly gasped and waved his hands. “No! Uh-that means good luck.” Gekomon clarified. Firamon simply nodded despite still being obviously confused, before flying off through the air. The Gekomon and Otamamon wave him goodbye as he got farther away.

“A digimon like that won't survive long in this world!” Otamamon uttered. As the Gekomon sighed while nodding his head in agreement.

Nicole Brooks

“Oh, it's you again. Joey right? Enjoying the new job?” The woman greeted with a warm smile taking a bag from the young man with a large mailbag slung over his shoulders. He smiled back at her and tipped his mailman hat. “Thanks Ms. Mercier, it puts money in the bank for me and the missus. Busy day, have a good afternoon.” The young man stated before quickly heading back into his van and drove away. She simply shook her head a little, letting out a slight chuckle. “Young love is so sweet.” She chirped before walking back into the kitchen noticing Nicole was no longer present, but her bowl had already been set into the sink and was rinsed out. She could hear the television playing in the background, smiling slightly grabbing some scissors from a drawer and cutting open her paper bag picking up a medicine bottle in her hand, carefully examining the label.

Donepezil
Take one at the same time every day.
15 mg. 35 count.

She opened the bottle and filled a glass with water and grabbed one of the pills and put it on the tip on her tongue and washed it down. Before walking toward her living room, carrying the glass half filled with water. “What are you watching in there, Nicole? Is it any good?” She cheerfully questioned suddenly spotting Nicole staring in awe while holding a strange device glowing brightly with her extended hand. Her widescreen television was glowing just as brightly, the woman could hardly see. As a sudden flash caused her to shut her eyes from the intensity, once she had opened her eyes her television was off and Nicole had vanished from sight, the glass shattered to the ground. “Nicole!?”

Nicole looked around covered in near darkness, except for unnatural purple glowing moss covering parts of the trees that looked decayed and dead. There wasn't any color other than black, even the soil beneath her shoes. Nicole blinked hearing sounds of screams coming from the distance. Nicole looked down at the device, she held in her hand and frowned. “Aw...my shoes are getting dirty.” Nicole stated letting out a mild sigh, starting to walk through the dense forest. “How'd I get here?” Nicole uttered softly to herself. “I'm going to miss my show...”

Mirko Dubrinic

[A school in Paks, Hungary]

Lunch time came and passed, and one of the last classes for the day before club was computer class. Mirko was starting to feel disappointed nothing happened yet. Was he daydreaming the voice? Maybe? The lunch period he spent with his friends, telling them about the dreams he had. Though he opted not to show them the device. No one had anything similar dreamt. The orange device was in his school bag as he entered the classroom.

"What?!"

"Teacher, my computer is weird!"

"Is this a prank?"

The moment Mirko had stepped in the room full of computers every screen started to glow white. Words started to flow over the screens. The teacher in question wondered what kind of virus this could possible be. The kids poking the machines as if trying to fix them. Mirko moved to the computer furthest away from the door and looked at the screen.

The words. Digimon, council, didnt tell him much. But the word war left no doubt. This was the strange thing he awaited to happen. He tried to fish the orange thing out, but couldnt reach him from his notebooks. Not feeling patient he turned over the bag and let all the things from the inside fall down messily on the table and floor.

He was right!

The orange device was glowing... so what now?

"Okay everyone leave the classroom. The class is canceled for today." The teacher announced, not pleased at all. Mirko hearth started to race. He knew he could just leave no one was forcing him to stay... but... he was not going to go back on his word. No hero and no real man did that.

"Mirko, you too. Out with you."

"In a moment, my books slipped out my bag. Just to pick them up!" Mirko lied, holding the device close to his chest. He started picking them all up slowly waiting for everyone to leave. He didnt know what would happen, but he had a feeling that he should point it to the screen. He didnt want to put anyone in danger. He saw the teacher leaving the classroom to speak with someone and Mirko used that opportunity. Having enough wit to grip his club bag he pointed the device to the screen.

A wide grin on his face as he was was gone.

The teacher stepped back in the classroom noticing a bright flash happened, to see Mirkos books still on the table. Confusion on her face at seeing the room empty. All the computers now turned off and none showed the strange messages like before.

[Digital world- Sector ??]

Mirko groaned, he felt sore. Sitting up and rubbing his head he spotted why he felt that way. He was sitting on the hard ground. The bag was still in his hand. Checking it he saw his change of cloths, as well as a water bottle and football were all there. He took his phone out and sure enough there was no signal. He took a few picture of his surroundings and placed it back.

This was the place in a civil war.

The young boy took a breath and decided to walk. He could spot a dark looking forest not too far off the barren rock he woken up on. It looked a bit spooky with its nearly black threes but, it couldnt be that bad he reasoned. He wasnt too sure what is awaited from him but he just decided to give it a shot. Maybe he will walk into someone who could give him directions... and maybe a destination as well.

As he stepped into the forest he saw the black ground and heard something that resembled a distant scream... Maybe it was the wind, Mirko tried to be reasonable as he pulled his back closer and kept on walking.

A little disappointed as the voice hadn't responded and no one had shown up, Mimi put the odd device in her bag and climbed down the tree. Wondering how to spend the day, Mimi wandered around town. Plenty of people, but none to play with, it annoyed her. Then, she remembered that a new game was being released and that the gamestore should have a demo available. Excitedly, Mimi went over.

When she entered the store, the man behind the counter greeted her with a wide smile, and she returned an equally wide smile. "Hey, little miss, here to try that new game, after all? I thought you said it looked 'unworthy'?" The man quipped cheerfully. Grin widening, Mimi responded, making a poor attempt at imitating the man's voice "You have to try it to find out it's garbage." The man chuckled and pulled her over the counter. "It's in the back. Go see how far you can get. Wanna bet a chocolate bar you won't even beat the first three levels?"

Three hours later and two chocolate bars richer, Mimi waved the man goodbye and left the store. The odd device had glown oddly when she'd put the chocolate in her bag and when she'd retrieved a snack while playing, but she had been to focused on beating the game to actually do anything with it.

Only when she was almost home, she decided to study the device again, but by then it had already stopped glowing. With a pout and a sigh Mimi stuffed the device in the bag again, and went inside. Her parents were still out working, so she had the house all to herself. Doing as any kid would do, she grabbed a glass and a drink. Mimi was thirsty. Afterwards she headed upstairs, to her room, she wasn't interested in watching television. Once upstairs, she turned on the computer in her room. As soon at the computer had been booted up, the device started glowing once more. With the device once more removed from the bag, Mimi started mokeying around with it. Not entirelt sure of what happened, Mimi turned the device to check the back for some sort of batery port when a blinding flash disabled her vision.

Finding herself in a bright, colorful surrounding, with little but her backpack, clothes and the odd device, Mimi was confused, to say at the least. This was not her room. Looking around Mimi found a stream and plants. Lots and lots of plants. Getting up, Mimi sauntered over to the stream, washing the dirt from her hands. She got up from her place beside the stream and looked around a bit, deciding there wasn't much to see, she climbed a tree. From the treetop, she once more looked around, hoping to find some form of life or habitation. Whilst looking she commented to herself "Well, where are we now?"

Commandramon

Commandramon slowly walked in an aimless direction, going nearly in the complete opposite direction of his original destination. He continued to keep his eyes glued to what was in front of him, the endless sight of darkness and decaying plant life, while retaining a straight face. Hearing the subtlest of noises that he instantly recognized, quickly shifting to his left 75 degrees and hurled a DCD Bomb straight between two of the trees. He glared at the DemiDevimon revealing itself by bursting through the trees with a scowl and a singed wing, aiming his M16 rifle directly at the DemiDevimon.

“Hey! What do you think you're doing? That could of killed me!” DemiDevimon shouted.

“You're right, it should of killed you. My aim must be deteriorating.” Commandramon retorted, “But consider yourself lucky that you're still alive after you've been following me all this time, I'll give you one chance to tell me why, before I make into Swiss cheese.” The DemiDevimon flinched a bit, as sweat dripped down from it's forehead.

“Alright. Alright! Calm down. I merely wanted to recruit you. We're apart of an uprising to destroy the humans! You're a solider right? You'd be rewarded handsomely, you wouldn't have to live in this dump that's for sure-” DemiDevimon exclaimed not realizing that the Commandramon had already walked off covering a long yawn. DemiDevimon growled and held a poison dart in his claws and threw it directly at Commandramon. “I won't stand for such disrespect!”

Commandramon merely raised his armored gauntlet as the dart deflected to the ground, not even leaving a scratch. Commandramon turned around, aiming his rifle, with his claws pressing the trigger. as the DemiDevimon fearfully turned around and attempted to flee before receiving a hail of gunfire coming from Commandramon rifle. DemiDevimon let out a agonizing scream, the bullets piercing straight through him giving him a tremendous amount of stabbing pain. Commandramon watched the digimon writhing on the ground with data leaking into the air. He apathetically stared down and pointed his assault rifle down.

“I've been built to inflict the utmost amount of pain possible, I'm better at killing an opponent than anyone. Since you couldn't take the hint and decided to piss me off, I'll tell you before you die. I work alone.” Commandramon replied before he even finished his sentence the DeviDemimon had dispersed completely. With that trouble out of the way, he continued onward toward his home.

Nicole Brooks

Nicole had been leaning against one the trees, fiddling with the strange device but she still hadn't figured out anything about it. She couldn't even turn the thing on again, recalling the last thing she remembered feeling like she was sucked into the television. She sighed slightly and continued walking through the forest, being careful not to have anything touch her skin. Her noise twitched to the smell of smoke, like someone had started a campfire. Nicole suddenly heard someone was speaking nearby, their voice was distinctly masculine yet rather squeaky.

“Maybe, they could help me...” She thought quickly running in the sound's direction, before stopping and hiding behind one of the large trees. She peaked her head seeing a strange looking creature, that resembled a dinosaur wearing military armor with a visible gun in his claws. It glanced in her direction like it was already aware of her presence but it started walking past her. She clenched her hands and blinked a few times, before quickly going past the trees and approaching the odd creature, smileing once he turned around to face her.

“Um, pardon me...Could you tell me where I am? And where the nearest bus station is?” Nicole spoke out without a hint of anxiousness in her voice.

Mirko Dubrinic

The young boy was starting to feel more uncomfortable, as he walked deeper into the dark forest like region. Maybe he should turn around and go back, he wondered to himself quite a few times. He didnt do it because he was no scared weakling, they needed a hero so what hero runs away from a bit of dark. Even if the sounds and wind made him feel like something bad was inside these woods. Or worse even following him.

Yet each time he turned around there was no one there.

"I am imagining things, thats all." He talked to himself and hugged his bag closer to himself like one would do a stuffed animal.

Candlemon

He was hiding in the shadows, which was a bit hard when you have a flame on top of your white wax body. Surprisingly enough he was managing to avoid most digimon around. He knew there were recruiters in this sector searching out digimon willing to fight in the war. Candlemon hated the war. He didnt want to have anything to do with either side. But being a neutral would be difficult the more time this went on. He was a coward wanting to live, and not dying.

He didnt know what he should do, any longer... His silent musing was interrupted when he heard a voice talking not too far away from him. He had to know if it belonged to something dangerous or not. Staying behind a tree he spotted its owner. He nearly gasped and outed himself right there and then.

A human boy was walking towards the section of the woods Candlemon knew that soldier digimon recently wandered. He tried his best not to cross paths with that fellow. The war was happening because of those creatures. He started to keep an eye from the distance. That what he was watching was the reason he lost him...

The reason...

That human...

He was only a child, looking horrible lost at the moment.

Candlemon fire winced silently. He knew he should run away... but he didnt have it in him to leave a kid to die. Indecisive about what should he be doing he kept following the boy.
