I forgot to mention that the cost/holding management sheet is completed.
Just give me a guesstimated value of wealth/income that an average noble character typically has, then I can determine almost everything else from that.

Oh! I do have a couple of questions though... would any of the royal/noble characters currently in play have the loyalty of a particular domain or significantly influence the local authorities somewhere? Insofar as they can gather taxes? o.o
Faye does not, but I don't know about you or @Grey.

Also, do any characters help administrate any religious institutions (i.e. churches, temples, shrines, etc)? Insofar as they have authority over the income generated from donations and paid healing services?

I have the rough domain structure of Hoshido and Nohr plotted out, so I just need to know who the major players are outside the named, canon characters. If none of our characters fit this bill (minus my merchant), don't worry about it. I have templates and pre-made NPC's to take care of that. =P

I'll have to think about this. I know my royal character is supposed to be really scary by reputation, but also does doctor duties pro bono so it could go either way. Definitely not a religious institution, though.

None of the other allied characters I have in mind have anything, unless the Ice Tribe chief dies.

Okay so I have news. I got offered a job in Sendai, Japan so things are a little crazy in terms of the fact they need a ton of paperwork by tomorrow night so I've been scrambling to get it together and stuff. I also got confirmation that my English BA has been awarded and is finally in the mail. So much is happening! So yes, this is still on. Just a bit frazzled at the moment. I have heard nothing from DF but see them active everywhere else so...like fuck, guess I kinda get to shoulder Hoshido on my own or quickly search for a replacement unless one of you is feeling up to helping me out, but I'm not expecting that haha, we've all got a lot on our plate with characters and side roles so I may hunt for a replacement tomorrow at some point...and I do gotta get back to you, BD, I know, I may be free for hangouts or I should be on tomorrow after my CPR class.

Also, since I'm playing the least number of characters in comparison, I could probably take over for DF on the Hoshido front. Esp. since I'm playing the least number of characters in this RP.

And yep, teaching little kids in Japan, not the best demographic but...oh well. Money!

And alrighty, time to draft up a Hoshidan prince. Probably gonna be a Spear Fighter or Oni Savage, with a more "a royal should be someone that people want to be" theme to contrast my Nohrian's "a royal should be what the people want them to be" schtick.

Fair warning though:
My friend's wife taught in Japan for a brief stint, she has some tragically funny stories about how those Japanese students sometimes have a really hard time grasping how to use things in unconventional ways. She tried a class activity once where they were to make tie-dyed shirts (paid for out of her own funds), but they flat out refused the idea saying you can't use a shirt that way and couldn't fathom why someone would want to. These were elementary school kids, I might add, and that's just one of a dozen anecdotes of similar events. You're mileage may vary, but it could happen.
So clench your butt cheeks and prepare for some culture shock! xD

Anyway, I need to finish writing my other characters sheets too, although I may have to put that off until Sunday. If you want to message me at all, I usually lurk in hangouts all day while I'm at work. My dept prefers it over the stupid in-house corporate teleconferencing software anyway. I may not be able to respond right away (for obvious reasons), but I shouldn't keep you waiting long. The work load for Friday-Sunday is pretty light. =]

Good god, you have been busy! Dealing with a house, much less repairs and the city, is a huge undertaking. I hope it's worth the trouble but as someone who had work done on her house (well parents) and the doors still not being "done" after 11 months...urgh. Construction is crazy, make sure you do your research on who to hire. Our main contractors were great but our window installers are terrible and have cost us so much time/money.

And yeah finals...gosh those feel like an eternity ago. ^^; But yeah I can see how the timing is just like one massive hurricane. But congrats on taxes?

Thanks, that BA was a biiiitch to finally get but now that I have it, I have ZERO interest to go get a Masters or anything but maybe I'll change my mind in a few years. But for now, I'm done with school. It's awful. Plus I relied heavily on Pell Grants and to know those might go away makes me less inclined to go back to school.

And thanks for the warning. I've done a lot of reading into what it'll be like. I know this company is not well regarded (well most aren't to begin with) so my expectations are low. I think I can tough it out for a year and find a better job placement. Or I end up loving the branch school and staying another year, it all depends. I'm already homesick. I've only been away from home when I left for school or went on month long summer camps. It's a whole other story to go to another country, despite my studying it's gonna be a big change either way. ^^; I am ready for a new chapter in my life though and to get out of the USA for a bit sounds like heaven lol

I should be fairly free this afternoon and tomorrow but now that I know I'm going somewhere in 2 months, it's pretty much time to get back on my diet and shop and study. :/

I am thinking a large sum of like 30-45k would be reasonable in terms of all of the royals pulling their money together. Then again that number may be a bit high since each FE path was either short with money or flush with it...

@Genkai@BurningDaisies@Grey Hey so its been a crazy time because I have a birthday coming up and I have to host and organise a number of events before I go away for the weekend, so everything has been in overdrive this month.

I'm going to have free time soon, but looking at the scale of the RP and numbers of characters per player is a little daunting, I consider myself a 'low-advanced' RPer at best and I'm not the best at RPing as multiple characters so I might have to pull from this.

That being said, your dedication and experience with world and system building is really impressive and I hope I get a chance to RP with you 3 specifically again in maybe something I can grasp a little more confidently.

Hopefully we can write together in the future. :)

As it stands, I think we're nearly ready to start IC.
Once we finish our characters, we should be able to jump right in.
Is there anything else we need to cover before the IC starts? I'm drawing a blank, if there is.

I think just finish our characters and I can get us going. I think because Grey and I will share some Hoshido roles, the posting order may have to go me, Grey and you.

Sadly I didn't get to finish my sheets this weekend like I intended, family stuff happened but it's not like I have much to do this week aside from 1-2 posts around here.

There's the Nohrian minus history or relations. I'm not 100% sure I should post the Hoshidan Royal I have yet, though. @Genkai are you considering that post his formal declaration of resignation, or are we still waiting?

Anyway, I'm not filling out CSs for the characters that won't be introduced at the onset, but I'll include tiny blurbs with and without faceclaims for reference when I edit the post next.

Also centered CSs make me sad so I improvised.

@Grey Go for your Hoshidoin (Hoshidain? I dunno!) male so we can tinker with it before starting. I think you and I will have to handle the Hishidian siblings, as DF is out of the RP.

I'll be scarce the next few days, leading up to my final exams next Thursday.

I'm gonna hunker down today and finish my sheets. I've been getting caught up in loads of small things like family outings, shopping for suits for the new job (it's hard to find a suit for someone with big boobs but who is also fat and short...yay spending money) ahem. Anyway, I may add an eventual sixth character but for now I should finish up the ones I've got now. I'm thinking we can keep things as brief as possible in terms of history and background since I think we'd all like to get things rolling soon.

Still in the process of editing my characters. Phew.
