It'll be a draw. This turned into a shitfest I haven't seen since the time I fought a guy named Prodigy.

Both of you likely know better. Beardforce, in my estimation, is metagaming and why anyone would face it willingly. The fact he can, by both the sheet and your own testimony raise his strength to impossible levels, with no drawbacks end with only:

Knowledge of the sheet
Seeing the person.

The very definition of metagaming. You don't know anything about the character beforehand, or their capabilities, and Beardforce allows you to simply match it no matter what stages they have to go through to achieve their power and seems solely based on how strong you think they can be.

As far as Nega, I can see your point but your hands aren't clean either. Yours is more of a outside variety. There was no need for this argument to contibue, I know some was part the peanut gallery fault, but calling them sheep didn't help. Any arguments that extend last the events of the thread in question, then things get real dirty.

I suggest you two stay far away from each other. I do commend Doc for trying to explain the weaknesses in Gonad, and eventually apologizing as well. I think you both can be really good Arena fighters, though I probably won't ever face Gnad for a variety of reasons.

I won't go much further than that, because this really isn't my fight. If either of you, @Doc Doctor, @Negatomsk have any issues with any of this, my inbox is always open. In both my official capacity as Moderator and my unofficial capacity as Arena King.

Beardforce would likely be fine if there was some build up to it. The main issue is that he auto scales his powers to match someone elses, which in turn disregards any story their own character had. It could probably be passable if it had some type of requirement or drawback.

You don't have to need him aside from tournamentss and stuff.

Sort of like a gradual acclimation process, like how deep sea divers can't immediately bolt for the surface without letting their bodies adapt to the pressure.

I didn't want part of this thread but seeing as TZ was mentioned I have to come in

DLL was told his character's ability to replicate the powers of others after thorough observation was too powerful for the TZ tournament, and yet the Beardforce is able to so thoroughly analyze the abilities of Gonad's foes to blow through any and all of their defenses, somehow with sheer power alone. Tez believes that El Rey was also on the road to rejection for a power scaling ability but never even got a response despite submitting one of the first profiles.

Let me correct you.. again.

The problems we had with beardforce wasn't his ability to scale. Beardforce, as parlance of TZDL, was a schedule 3 ability because it only scales with physical prowess; however, we had asked Doc to remove what we perceive to be metagaming aspect of the beard force along with other minor things. You, like your friend DLL, have an extremely nasty problem with painting the narrative so allow me to give you the same courtesy I gave him.

It wasn't too powerful for TZDL. It was a violation of our rules (Stacking). TZDL has nothing to do with how RPGuild runs its arena or anything within its website. These forums have been more than magnanimous with us but it is nothing more than a cross-promotional event. Do not involve our brand with your fight and I'll ask for you to next time be more forthcoming and honest with the situation involving DLL not to spread misinformation.

As far as El Ray is concerned: I already addressed this to DLL in my thread but you want to spread the same lie? Provide proof he was on the road to rejection.

Yes. Or some type of ritual or something he needs, or at the very least see them at their full strength before bolting up to it just because.
