I and a friend of mine have a fairly fun RPG on another site we're trying to port over. Any tips on recruiting players and getting the word out so we aren't just lost in the shuffle?

Make an interest check in the section you feel yours fits in. Go through the tutorials for "beautification" in the articles section. (Check the index pinned at the top) - A lot of the time the way the interest check appears has a lot to do with the not only the type of Rper it attracts but the number of players as well.
