@The Harbinger of Ferocity exactly how far do you teeter into 'flat earth theory'

My humor is feline centric, so this should come as no surprise. My take away from "Flat Earth" is that there isn't one, but it makes for an amusing discussion and thought experiment. That's about the most credibility it has to me.

I have never once in my entire life encountered a "flat earther." My liberal friends apparently can't shut up about them -- I think it's an elaborate troll.

I'm going to put in my two cents (even though nobody cares)

Due to the speed of the rotation of Earth, It is not completely spherical as the liberal media would have you believe and is, to some degree, flat.

Of course the Earth is not as flat as others claim. I mean, where else would Tsathoguaa be? Clearly he is in the light-less cavern of N'kai which lies below the red cavern of Yoth, which subsequently lies somewhere beneath the subterranean land of K'n-yan, which is somewhere under Oklahoma. How can the Earth be flat if there are like three layers of caverns?

I have to admit, I do not consider myself to fall square in any of that territory, at most I teeter a bit to each side in each, @Dynamo Frokane. Your beloved cake might be in jeopardy after all.

Now that we have the flat earth out of the way, where do you 'teeter' on the other issues.

"Some races are biologically more intelligent and suited to western society than others"

"The Civil War had nothing to do with Slavery, it was about rights"

"Government involvement stifles the economy, let the free market fix things naturally"

" The globe may be warming, but this has been exaggerated for left wing investments"

" I'm not saying there weren't jewish deaths during WW2, it was a war, a lot of people died. I'm skeptical about the methods and ridiculously high reported numbers"

Now I'm not strawmanning you at all, these are all real quotes I've seen online and heard from people in real life in serious discussion. I'm also not attributing any of these quotes to you personally, I'm just trying to see where you stand. Now I would have a hard time believing a centrist would be anywhere close to partially invested in these fringe claims, but I'm willing to hear arguments to the contrary.

I honestly am willing to give 'right leaning' people the benefit of the doubt, I have absolutely no issue with moderate mainstream conservatism. But when a supposed centrist starts using widely debunked science for an argument towards ethno nationalism, the centrism really starts to come into question.

Just the same when supposed 'left leaners' are open stalin apologists, they have a skewed perception of where the middle is.

I appreciate them not being leveled at me as accusations, @Dynamo Frokane.

Hopefully that was concise enough to answer the questions and provide insight into my notion of "teetering a bit to each".

I make no mistakes about it as a fact, just as I make none about that with regard to those who acted in the pursuit of communism, of which has killed as many and more.

Thanks for answering clearly, also double thanks for having the balls to state your position. I've asked many a right winger on this site to state their views openly, and it usually is met with either "Well the left blow everything I say out of proportion, so whats the point?" as if there is some vice journalist following them around ready to upload their views for an online hit piece. Or they just flat out refuse, stating that I'm trying to bait them into some sort of trap of painting them to be a bad person, which sort of brings their convictions into concern.

As for your responses I probably agree 90% with everything you said, you do seem to be a centrist, and I'm happy to say I would have shared my birthday cake with you if I had any left. I think the right wingers such as pugbutter, mdk, and sleeping silence could learn a lot from you.

You are welcome, and I believe both sides, as well with those all in between, should have the audacity to state their opinion, @Dynamo Frokane. You are correct that a portion of it has become, "Why would I bother saying anything if they are not going to listen?", to which I believe the answer best is, "Because you will lose nothing for doing so." In either case, Left, Right or otherwise, people will decide for themselves. My only objective is to make it clear what I am or am not, and that I am not ashamed of.

If anything I would have expected to been called "too neutral" by both sides in my experience of politics, but I have to admit the Far Left has continually struck me for a lot more and with a lot less basis.

@mdk to be totally honest I was just picking the top 3 off topic right wingers I could remember, there is nothing you've said that's particularly off-brand, I remember you quoting a source from The_Donald sub-reddit once but that's it.

Also I should mention that you seem to have actual conservative views and thats miles better than being some broadly politically illiterate reactionary who just blindly agrees with anything that is "Not the feminazis". Like Weird Tales for example.

Keep doing you bro, we haven't got any problems.

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
