The thought of going to the mall sounded tempting, but his mind felt that going to school was the right thing to do. Then again Rev also wanted to get a chance to socialize with his teammates more and to learn more about them. His was stuck on which choice to make and he had to ponder it for a moment. In the end he decided to give school a skip and hang out with the others.

Once at the mall Rev could see that the others were enamored with the shops and stores, but Rev was more interested in getting to know his teammates. Karlie then hurried over to the Starbucks to get some coffee. She then started goading them to come and get some coffee as well. Rev just laughed and replied.

"You should try Kryptonian coffee. It is much better than this Starbucks drink that humans find so irresistible."

His attention then went to the others looking a guy in a hoodie. He then saw Dick Grayson come and Rev expected them to get a stern talking to by the older hero about them skipping class.

Katie paid close attention to the impromptu tour given by the- uh maintenance guy. If she was in fact going to stay here then she definitely needed to know the lay of the land. She was surprised to hear that the young heroes in training were ditching school. Maybe they weren't so different than normal people after all. She still couldn't tell if this guy was one of them though. He used the names Grayson and Z. Katie assumed that they were Nightwing and Zatanna respectively.

So far she still felt completely out of place though. When she got to the place that would be her room she set her bookbag down on the bed and waited for the guy to leave to unpack. She did say a quick "Thank you." as he left. Sadie unpacked her minimal supplies and set things aside. She hadn't bothered to pack much so it didn't take long. She would have to go into town later and buy some extra things because she only had a few items with her.

She hadn't expected this place to look so nice. She was still in awe at the fact that she'd be staying in this place. That's when her stomach growled. Katie realized she hadn't eaten in a good while. She decided to head down to the kitchen and fix her something to eat.

Arthur was decently relaxed aside from the thought of the hooded man trying something and getting someone hurt but all shreds of calm were immediately dashed from Arthur when Nightwing bumped into him. Arthur tried to keep his cool as he tried to think of something to say but he quickly followed Julien's mentor's gaze to the hooded man from earlier. He didn't need to be the worlds greatest detective to read the look on Nightwing's face which told Arthur that the hooded man was no good.

'Quick! Strike first! Action is always quicker than reaction! L'Iego thought to Arthur which Arthur was willing to agree with if it got him out of his somewhat awkward situation with Grayson. Not having his helmet on hand, Arthur rummaged around in his provided back-pack and pulled out a hat with the school's logo on it. Hastily Arthur tore a hole in the top and ripped two eye hole in it, turning the headwear into an impromptu mask. Speed Demon pulled the mask on and began letting lose some blasts of energy.

[color=darkpurple]"Ldritchea lastba!"[/color] Arthur whispered furiously as spells flew from his hands and at his target. Unluckily for Arthur, the hooded man had powers of his own and began returning fore with bolts of electricity which Arthur was just barely able to stop with a force field spell.

Davitus was frankly shocked, he had deferred to the humans out of professional courtesy. This was after all, their planet. Not his. But he hadn't expected one of the fools to go charging in half-cocked with no plan and immediately begin blasting in a crowded area with civilians. Not that he particularly liked the majority of humans, but that was simply unprofessional, and even the inane average human didn't deserve to be made into a casualty because of some youth with too much power and not enough wisdom. And to top it all off Grayson was here and Davitus was convinced that they were in for a lecture after all of this. Wonderful. Simply wonderful.

He had no idea of the foe's capabilities, or even if he was actually a foe. Davitus would have preferred a quiet takedown or stealthy assessment but alas. So Davitus resolved to let his "teammate" handle the situation for now. Let him get pummeled around a little bit to get a better sense of the battle. As for his part, there were some humans that needed to make themselves scarce. Davitus ducked behind a column, slipping over a second mask he kept in his pocket and pulling down a fire alarm, sirens clanging through the air as he reached into his hidden hilts and drew several small daggers held between the fingers. He flung them with expert precision and superhuman strength and several glass windows facing the outside world shattered. Hordes of people immediately began rushing out and Davitus nimbly weaved through the crowd before leaping up and back to perch on a balcony, taking an overwatch position and drawing two daggers.
