@Klomster I was under the impression Cathryn had left as well. However nothing in continuity conflicts with her staying so that is fine.

Aha, i found a post before Grandin moves out.

I put it.
"Cathryn had stayed behind in Clarm, probably to try and keep her country running while the war was going on. Not an easy task, so her efforts were admirable."
I had honestly ignored mentioning Anron there. Mostly since he wouldn't add to the narrative in that section.

@TheDuncanMorgan@ZB1996etc.

So, if Eclipse is going to be in Lycaon's army and marching on to Telmarion, we're gonna need a quick flashback to how that happened. I suppose I would open this up to any characters who were in Nyhem at the time to be involved or present, so let me know if anyone wants that to have happened.

@Wraithblade6 Unfortunately I don't think it will be possible for Eclipse to get to Telmarion in time; he would have to be riding at full gallop non stop if he wanted to get to Telmarion from Ralda in time (and even then he probably wouldn't make it). However there will be a event happening in Nyhem soon that I believe Eclipse could very much get involved with. If you desperately want Eclipse to be involved then just let me know and I will find some way to make it work.

Duncan is generally welcoming of new players, on the single character level at least. Not sure if he's taking nations atm...

Though when he arrives he can tell you with more surety (I'm not a GM).

@TheDuncanMorgan I have replied with Eli.

@Brithwyr Indeed, I think we may have just lost two of our more recent RPiers so I welcome your arrival. Did you have any idea's in mind?

On the subject of Wyrm and Arisen I believe they have gone permanently. Fortunately they dropped out relatively early so it's not too much trouble. Morian and house Antherion have already served their purpose in the story so although it would have been cool to see what he would have done we don't need to worry about continuing his story. He will be a nice character to make reference too and adds some lore to the story. As for lady Grim I can just hand her over to Andrews control. If Andrew doesn't want control of her would anyone like to battle her and kill her off in the battle of Telmarion?

Also I have a question to ask everyone; so as a lot of our long term members will know we have had a few members drop out of the RP after contributing to the IC a fair bit. For the most part these members contributions have been Canon to the lore and story, the list of what is Canon and what isn't is as follows:

Aurelia Vyncetta - Very Canon; Extremely important to the plot, adds a lot to various story lines and all loose ends are tied up. In a way she isn't even a dropped character.

Gabanre Charis - Non Canon; simply didn't add anything to the IC and character doesn't fit in very well with existing lore

Sir Ramfrey - Canon; Very important to Alicja Mazeltof's story line

Louis Dabout (House Anjervine) - Non Canon; doesn't really make sense and doesn't add anything to the story (House Anjervine is still canon)

Lady Grim - Canon

Morian Antherion- Canon

Here is the question: I am currently undecided on whether Catchphrase's Cinero Lupus should be Canon in lore or story. I am also unsure if Cold Hands input on House Sutharlan in terms of the IC should be Canon (just to note house Sutharlan is Canon is terms of lore and character sheet, I am only talking about it's involvement in the IC)

Cinero Lupus - Fits the lore and story OK (even gets mentioned in one of kloms posts) but doesn't add anything to the story

Cold hands - Doesn't conflict with anything but simply doesn't lead anywhere.

@Wraithblade6

I don't know exactly how long it was, but it couldn't have been too long, since she has been doing nothing but traveling since she escaped Nyhem.

I was considering some kind of Seelie court, but if you arent accepting nations right now, I can rethink that. I would quite like to play some sort of Fae, if that's okay.

@Wraithblade6 It's kind of difficult to say given that the concord army has been mobilizing since Patrick left Nyhem around a month before present. So long as if Eclipse doesn't spend too much time in Nyhem he should be able to catch up with the army in time. Perhaps he could arrive just after the angry mob attacked Thale Manor. Did you have any question regarding Nyhem?

@Brithwyr Unfortunately fae are not a approved race. And I don't think there is anything all that similar to a fae in the Formaroth world. We do have mages who can summon shades, and there is a species called the Fu which is very gifted in magic but I don't see how they could play a role in Formaroth (also I wouldn't describe them as being at all similar to fae). Did you have any other idea's that you might like?

Well, in regards to the question of canon @TheDuncanMorgan my thoughts are that, while those two didn't really add anything to the story overall, there also isn't any reason not to make them canon. Its overall easier to leave them canon, since they have IC posts up and getting those posts taken down is a pain (and also a waste imo).

If fae arent acceptable, maybe some kind of wood elf? Or maybe a disgruntled soldier turned revolutionary?

@Brithwyr Well I don't know about a wood elf (details about elves can be found here roleplayerguild.com/topics/153329-for… ) But legon Forrest is a valid place if you wanted to make a woodland hermit or a forrest tribe. Also Soldier turned revolutionary could work, perhaps he could be someone stirring up trouble in Nyhem (what with the religious tension going on) or a soldier of House De Reimer or Blackwell who defects to the Manshrew Alliance.

We have blue skinned elves actually. Dyril is a half one and has traits of both human and elf which in the right combination could likely produce something like what I consider a traditional wood elf (like Tolkien's version). Though it wouldn't be a nation and they tend to be sterile like mules and other hybrids, not to mention hard to produce since niether race find the other particularly attractive.

However it's not impossible and imo a bit more likely to happen in Formaroth than the Elven Imperium. Mainly as it's considered taboo and rather very negative in the later. The only reason Dyril came into existence was because of a bet and to blackmail the morals of the family. Otherwise she would've been aborted magically.

As for a disgruntled solider, I think a bit more details over the idea might be a good idea and maybe might work better. While Duncan might be crowned king, he still has a long way to go with that nickname of the "snake". Manshrew is currently fighting him with his own forces and trying to dethrone the serpent, which we can always use more allies since there's a low number as it is player wise. Your character could be having his own small band robbing or becoming a pain in the ass for local merchants, supply lines, etc.

Though this is fully up to you and the GM but I figure I toss a few ideas out. Namely as I can see how players could happen upon them later on.

@Brithwyr I all else fails the Steel Fist will soon be in need of skilled fighters and skilled individuals. Seeing as a part of the command staff has died and a massive number of the troops have been killed in action.

Because as always, -"Remember the Tulza's!" *Takes a drink*

@TheDuncanMorgan
If you really want Grim killed off, i could perhaps do it in the battle. However it wouldn't be very glorious so a more powerful force might be needed to kill her off.

If Grim needs to die in the battle, I'm sure we could add a section where she fights Drevala. That ought to be an interesting mage-duel.

Much as I'd love to put Lana in a mage duel, she'll be avoiding that as much as she can, and not present at the battle if she can at all help it...

@Ellri Were you interested in the other plot idea I had (i.e the Nyhem riot?). I don't meant to nag but it has now been three months since your last post. I kind of need you to post something from you soonish.

@Kho Does this now mean you are able to join us fully now that your exam's are over?

Also Andrew's post will be up very soon.
