I think Conata has a preliminary claim on the sword bits. Mallet can wear his skull or something though.

Well, me and Vec both expressed interest. Really, with how much stuff I have to do, I'm willing to let it go to first-come-first-served.

I'm eventually going to start a humanity page on the wiki and this is my sketch of the immigration of Humans in Galbar.
Red is First Generation Wandering.
Blue is Refugees from the Flooding.
Purple is both, with no clear differences between refugee surge humans and the established pops.
Green are post-cataclysm migrations and special cases.

Suggestions more than welcomed.

What cataclysm/special circumstance caused the migration into the Golden Barrens? I was under the impression that humans arrived there at about the same time as they did in the Vetros area.

Unless those who abandoned Cyclone's Prophet were not the first human inhabitants of the region.

Nope! As far as Vestec's concerned, if they really wanted help they would have prayed to him, and besides. He takes a very 'sink or swim' parenting approach. You figure it out or he drags you out of the water and throws you back in with some advice or a gift this time. He's going to basically say 'Why are you sticking by Amartia and why didn't you ask me for help before it got this bad, and Amartia what made you think pissing Off all the gods except like one would be a good idea.'

Has anyone realised yet that Amartia was the one imprisoned in the Cube? ICly

Edit: It might have been mentioned, but as you all know, I'm far behind thanks to other commitments.

I've kinda lost track of Amartia's storyline in general. What is this Cube? What happened to him?

@Scarifar So, the First City-State of Xerxes was brought down by the Vowzra's Victors a long, long time ago. Amartia was captured and imprisoned in this holy site called the Cube. The Cube was created by Vowzra and exists in New Chronos. New Chronos is this floating island in a bubble just over the north pole which acts as the base of the Vowzra's Victors. It was put there by Jvan after she beat up Vowzra.

So anyway, Amartia was imprisoned inside this Cube and when Vowzra died both Teknal and Toun noticed it, and Toun commented that there was something imprisoned inside it. But I'm not sure whether anyone ever realised that Vowzra had a hand in Amartia's first fall or that he was imprisoned in the Cube before his return and establishment/takeover of the Second State.

Edit: not that it matters o.o history is full of mystery

Edit 2: Also, Scarifar, I demand you go read the entire IC. You have until the 1st of June. *cracks firewhip*

Well, thinking again, I was confused about a few things. Originally that arrow from Vetros was red, but in general I just assumed the area only was successfully populated with horse taming, which is not entirely right.

Yes. When Toun and Teknall went to the Cube, they identified that Amartia was inside.

7. Have Vestec start making an actual nation in the Changing Plains.

Relevant post, with useful world-building in the Changing Plains that you may or may not like to refer to, in case you forgot it.

8. Have the Cursed start making a kingdom somewhere super inhospitable (any ideas? I'm leaning towards the bottom of the ocean or the middle of the desert.)

Wherever you put the Cursed, it needs to be somewhere with minimal cause for decay. The bottom of the ocean is actually one of the worst possible places for a kingdom of undead, because the bottom of the ocean is full of scavengers who will eat all your undead. And terrestrial undead would have difficulty moving around and doing anything in the bottom of the ocean.

The desert is a reasonable location, although you'd be competing with the elementals. You could also try moving in to the south pole. Give the dwarves some neighbours.

15. Have Vestec turn that tunnel he made through the middle of the earth when Jvan bitch slapped him for no reason at all into an actually super useful tunnel system.

As I recall, there specifically wasn't a tunnel because Vestec clipped through the ground so as not to blow up the planet, but I'm cool with this.

I can second that Vestec no-clipped through the ground, with no tunnel formed. Even if there was, all but the kilometer nearest the surface would have closed up by now, because magma.

Vakarlon and Mammon have already made tunnels of various sorts, so you can adopt those.

Also, don't forget your plans to make Grotlings some time. Vestec still has a favour to cash in from Teknall.

Guys, Xos is a sneeky snek and he totally got rid of that body and sword in a way that wasn't as obvious as I made it sound

You can't just MAGICALLY KNOW about what he did for FREE! You have to stop being so stingy and spend your 1 Aihtiraq wish-token to hear about what happened from the man

Edit: Wait what?

<Snipped quote by Rtron>

Somebody call the zoo, we've got a hippo-potacrite rampaging on the loose.

If I recall correctly:
A god's essence leaves a mark, or a trail, wherever they go. This trail, unless concealed, can be detected by other gods. Might can be used to strengthen a god's concealment, and detecting these trails requires the expenditure of Might by a god on their detection capabilities. Detection and Concealment begin at Level 1 for every god and naturally rise by 1 per level up. As mentioned, a god can spend Might to specifically increase their Detection and Concealment capabilities. These levels DO NOT take into account inherent Detection and Concealment capabilities of a god due to their Domain (Portfolio), they only build upon them (so, for instance, a Level 1 god of Trickery will be inherently better at Detection/Concealment than a Level 1 god of Light).
The Rules

If any god happens to wander past the murder scene and they have a detection level greater than Xos' concealment level (which is 6), then they will find Xos' trail and the end of Kyre's trail. Granted, 6 is fairly high, so not everyone can beat that, but some can.

Plus nuking a god with a 25 Might spark is hard to do sneakily, although I suppose we could give you the benefit of the doubt there.

And regarding Vestec, to be fair, he did it in genuine self defence.

I was halfway joking, but if others simpy notice then it kinda cheapens my idea to have Aihtiraq be the primary witness and the one to tell people. I wanted to give him a reason to interact with actual gods this time.

And as far as the 25 Might Tsar Bomba goes, that's an even scarier part: Xos didn't even use close to the thing full power right there.

Kyre was already weakened and Xos got in a cheap blow. He did empower himself with the Spark for about a second but if he was actually unleashing all its power then there would be collateral damage.

The Submaterium labyrinth is confirmed to be spacially anomalous, at that. You can get from the Galbar tunnels to the Mirus tunnels by walking.

Just... Don't get eaten by demons or kidnapped by Heartworm, is the thing.

I mean by the looks of it a few goods didn't like him to begin with. They just left him inside the damn cube.

roleplayerguild.com/topics/163441-in-… I'm gonna stick this here as a shameless advertisement because I think you guys are cool and I'd love to have you in my RP. @Double Capybara

Osveril will likely take issue with something close to a void-zone being filled with colourful dreamscapes. It does try to be as open-minded about creation as necessary, but some things simply can't be justified... I wouldn't put it beyond the Absolute to try and "correct" the Piktaraika once it discovers it (likely without much success). A direct encounter with Ilunabar would indeed be interesting, especially after such a discovery. We shall see what opportunities present themselves once it comes into being, I suppose.

@Scarifar

As of late, there has been devised a plan for Osveril to emerge as the result of Jvan's experiments. While this leaves the Void That Is outside the Orb storyline for the time being, it would now be easier for Niciel to become involved in the process or observe it, if you wish, as it is not necessary for her to discover clues to Teknall's schemes by some improbable means. A visit to the All-Beauty could align with her present goals directly enough.

(And Kyre had a plot bullet with his name on it)

But yeah, the Primordial Spark is scary OP yet somehow canon. It will be interesting to see how other people deal with it.

Also, if Xos is going to vandalise/blow up the Celestial Citadel, consider letting me in on the post. Teknall is a stakeholder of the Celestial Citadel too.
