Arcadia

Arcadia is the magic capital of Lemuria. Built atop a wealth of precious metals, crystals and all manner of magical ore dug from the earth, it has long since been a powerhouse in trading, and arcane might. A collection of large stone towers built among and infused with a a forest of massive elder trees. The residents live in these constructions as well as these hollowed out trunks. A massive city housing thousands, it has a aura of nobility and yet rustic charm. Living among nature the people here use magic to shape the world around them, to their needs. A perimeter of magic towers create a barrier around it, tightly controlling anything that leaves or exits at the gates to the cardinal directions. The city is lead by an elder council of high mages, who decide on all matters involving politics, and anything of great change in the city. Each elder rules over a smaller section of the city, dividing it into 8 smaller sections. The largest tree by a massive margin serves as the keep of the city. Here business of all sorts is ran, as well the Major College of magical Learning. This tree "Yggdrasil" is revered by most magic users, and is thought of as the symbol of the old times when magic ruled the land. It is also the symbol of which Arcadia places on it's flag. A red banner with gold trimmings, and a large gold tree with a light shining behind it.

The main exports of this city-state are lumber, mined goods, enchanted items, Braxia Flowers, and Golems.

Zerzura

The Modern capital of Lemuria. It sits far north in the continent, standing tall atop the highest mountain center of the valley. Comprised of a walled city with a level ground and reaching skyscrapers of metal and glass, it is a grey and black city of bustling activity. Within it's confines sits the the technological advancement far beyond that of any place for miles. Automated systems and machines help things run smoothly, and allow for the people to go about less granular life-styles. Cooler then most parts of the country, it's higher most points threaten to graze the clouds, while it's many airships do so on a regular basis. An invisible barrier is formed by the massive generator tower in the center of the city, which allows only sanctioned people to enter or exit, controlling who or what may come and go. The only major pathway up to the mountain-peak is from the south side of the city, though there are entryways around it's circumference. Flying a banner of a cool electric blue with a black Rook chess piece, Zerzura is a bastion of industry. Some of the greatest minds gather here to help push the world in a better direction through the use of technological advancement. It is lead by democratically elected council members, who all advise a head figure names the chancellor. This chancellor is elected from this council.

The main exports of this city-state are mined goods, tools, machinery, robotics, weapons, and vehicles/parts.

Lernean Swamps

Known to the natives as simply the Home Marsh, the Lernean swamps are the domain of the hulking lizard folk, who simply call themselves the Kin. It is a harsh swamp full of all manner of venomous snake, poisonous plant, and savage beast. The marshy ground and dangerous wildlife means that no construction can happen here, as the marsh soil itself seems to eat up and resist magic. The Beast Folk here are religious warriors, living and dying by the sword. The lizard folk seem to be the only sort of sentient race that thrives here, as their skin is too thick for the disease carrying insects to bite through. Some attempts have been made to ally with them, but so far they show little interest. Since much of the swamp is too dense to really build, they live on floating houses deep in the swamp and live by hunting the dangerous beasts that reside within it.
Because they refuse to make trade routes with any of the other races, there are no main exports. However, sometimes a lucky trader will convince one of the tribes to trade a little armor or some weaponry.
