Aidan's red eyes stared through the window of his stagecoach. From the buildings he recognized, he could tell that Hyrule Castle was getting closer. Only a few minutes away probably. The realization made Aidan feel anxious. He was looking forward to meeting the Princess again, although this time it was going to be a lot more different. Aidan learned she was pretty, wise and kind from the few times they had met. But knowing all this did nothing to ease the looming fact that they were going to get married.

Sitting across from Aidan was his father, Lord Lautrec, who noticed his nervousness. "Getting butterflies in your stomach already?" he said, smiling. Aidan turned to him and smiled back.

"Yeah...it's hard not to when I'm about to meet my fiancée." Aidan said. "I mean, not that I don't mind being the future King of Hyrule."

His father chuckled. "I'd call you a fool if you did." he said. After a brief of silence, his smile became a bit weaker and he spoke again. "Political marriage this might be, but...honestly? I'm happy just to see you smiling again."

Aidan nodded solemnly. Since the year of the accident, things had been difficult for him and his surviving family. The grief was still there, but recent events helped push it to the back of Aidan's mind.

The red-eyed boy looked down at himself. He was wearing his most aristocratic outfit, a black suit with a hat and coat of similar colour plus a red cape overtop. Aidan's mother told him he looked dashing in the outfit, but he didn't care for it. "Don't you think I'm a little overdressed?"

"Indeed. But you'd do best to impress her." his father replied. "And don't worry, I'm sure you'll be underdressed as soon as the Princess gets you alone in a room..."

Aidan's face bloomed red. He turned his attention back to the carriage window. This earned another chuckle from his father. It wasn't long before Aidan spotted Hyrule Castle. Shortly after, the carriage arrived outside the main gate. The door swung open and Aidan's father turned to him. "I'm proud of you, son. Now get on out there."

Aidan smiled and nodded his head. He stepped out of the carriage and prepared to meet his future wife.

She lay in her bed, her eyes staring up at the tall ceiling. Today was the day, wasn't it? She close her eyes and rolled over in her bed, her stomach churning. It wasn't that she didn't like Aidan, it was just... She was nervous. She didn't really know what to think or... how to think it. She let out a shuddering sigh and sat up in her bed. There, at the foot of her bed, stood Ellie, her maid servant.

"Morning, Your Highness." She rang, a smile on her face. Zelda smiled at her and nodded.

"Good morning, Ellie." Zelda replied, stretching and yawning as she stood up from her bed. Her white night gown flowed gently around her ankles, her hair coming down her shoulder in a messy tangled mess. She turned her head towards Ellie who was already standing next to her. "Time to get dressed then, I suppose." She told her. Ellie shook her head.

"No ma'am. First, we need to do your makeup, then your dress and then your hair. Orders from your father." Ellie replied, already pulling Zelda towards the vanity. She sat her down and began pulling out certain makeups to apply to the princess's face. Zelda sighed, staring at the mirror. An image of Link popped into her head and she closed her eyes, trying to will it away. No, stop thinking about him. He's just a farm boy... turned hero. She wasn't meant for him and neither he for her. He probably had some other more... normal girl back home anyway. When she finally looked back up, the makeup was done. She looked positively pale... I looked like a ghost... Save for the blush.

She sighed and then turned as Ellie was already there with a dress in hand. She stood slowly as Ellie pulled the dress over Zelda's head. It took a few minutes, but finally everything was in place. Everything was tightened securely and all the extra little pieces applied. She looked once again in the mirror at herself. The red didn't really suit her but she didn't really have any room to complain. She moved back towards the vanity and sat down. It was a bit hard considering the tightness of her corset, but she managed. Ellie, with a quick ease began pulling on Zelda's hair, pulling our knots and then pulled half of it up into an intricate braid that tied up at the back. The rest of her hair still flowed down on her shoulders. She sighed. He rback already hurt from the dress. What she wouldn't give to be out in the fields, doing what Link does... She closed her eyes again, willing herself. Sh took in a deep breath and then rose. She walked over to the door with a small smile on her face.

"Well, I'll see you then, Ellie." She told her maid and was out the door. As she stepped outside, three guards surrounded her and followed her down to the meeting room where she would see her new fiancé. She knew Aidan a little bit from the few times she met him. He was kind, though strange. She couldn't really hate him, after all she had to love him for the sake of their country, right? It was high time she swallowed her pride and did something for her country. The only time she'd see Link would be in times of hardship and... the only time she could be with him were hopefully in the next life.

She walked into the meeting room, waving the guards away and walked over to the window to wait. She stood, much as a princess should, with her hand held in front of her, held together. Her feet were touching, her back straight. She had all the elegance of a woman that had spent her entire life as a princess. She stared out at her kingdom, her eye flitting to a particular spot in the valley of the mountain... A normal village like any other...

After Aidan exited the carriage, he was greeted by a handful of royal guards. "Greetings, young Lord Lautrec." the leader of the bunch said. He and the other guards performed a bow in unison. "We are tasked with escorting you to her Highness. If you would kindly..."

The guardsman stopped talking as he realized Aidan wasn't paying attention. The boy's red eyes were facing up, his gaze turning side to side as he examined the courtyard. His attention seemed focused on the elegant flowerbeds that decorated the path leading up the royal palace in rows. He hadn't been to Hyrule Castle in a long time and was interested in how much the aesthetic had changed. "What flowers are those? The large, blooming ones with the purple tints? I don't think I've seen them before." he asked aloud, although he didn't face the guards as he spoke.

"Er...I'm not sure. My knowledge of plants is sorely lacking." replied the lead guardsman. He exchanged glances with the other guards, who shrugged back at him. They had heard the Lautrec heir was an eccentric boy, but hadn't expected behaviour this odd. They stood in awkward silence, not sure how to deal with the situation as Aidan continued to gaze around at the courtyard. Eventually though, the boy turned to face them.

"Well? Are we going to move or what?" he asked, earning a raised brow from the guards. "You said you were supposed to be escorting me. Lead the way already!" The lead guard blinked a few times, surprised that Aidan actually had been paying attention. He the gestured for the other guards to move out. Soon the group was leading Aidan along into the palace. His red eyes continued to dart around as they entered the castle.

It wasn't long before Aidan reached his destination. Once outside of the waiting room, the guards left Aidan. He faced the door with and his face twisted into unease as he grabbed the handle. "Come on...you can handle this, just don't do anything that makes you look like an ass...be a gentleman." he told himself. He took a breath, forced his face into a smile, swung the door open and stepped inside.

His eyes widened as he saw Princess Zelda. "Goddesses, she's even prettier than I remember..." he thought. The butterflies in Aidan's stomach were fluttering real hard now. Nervousness took him and for a moment he wasn't sure what to do. He took a step forward, then stopped. His mouth gapped open, then quickly shut. Eventually he just lifted up his hand and waved. "Hey Zelda!" he said, smiling brightly.

She was lost in thought when she heard, 'Hey Zelda!' Her eyes widened, shocked evident as her body tensed. She breathed out a small sigh, relaxing her body and then turned, her smile soft and her eyes softer. The sun ever so softly glowing behind her, almost as if she had a halo over her head. She stepped away and it disappeared. He looked... not much different than she remembered. He still had the black hair and red eyes. She had to admit, they scared her a bit then and they still did today. Though... he looked much more dressed up today than he remembered. Then again, so was she. Then again, they'd been kids when they last saw each other.

"Hello Aidan." She greeted him, her hands still kept in front of her, clasped together gently. Stay calm... "It's good to see you again." She said, tilting her head ever so slightly as she smiled at him. She walked over closer to him. Stay... calm. As she walked, she motioned to a table on one side of the room that held glasses of water and fruit. "The servants have provided food should you be hungry." She told him. As she neared him, she stopped, her posture never changing. "It's been far too long. How are you?" She asked, motioning for him to follow her to the seats by the fireplace nearby the food. Just... smile and agree with him.

Aidan nodded, smiling still despite his nervousness. The Princess' unwavering posture was rather intimidating. There she was, standing all prim and proper and elegant like a true aristocrat, while Aidan felt like he was about to break down into stutters and shakes at any moment. The heat wasn't helping either. It was uncomfortable enough that he was wearing such thick black clothing indoors, but his raking anxiety added to the displeasure. And now the Princess wanted him to sit next to a fire place? "I'll be sweating like a pig at this rate. That won't look good." Aidan thought.

"Sure uh, let me just..." he trailed off as he began taking off his caped coat so that he was just wearing the suit underneath. Forgetting his manners, he simply slung it over the nearest chair. He also took off his hat and placed it on the table next to it. Aidan continued to smile as he walked over and took a seat by the fireplace. "I've been fine." he lied. Then he asked the usual counter-question. "How about yourself?" As he spoke, Aidan's red eyes darted around the room. He was intent on looking at everything in it but Zelda, as though to ease his nervousness by forgetting about the current situation.

She sighed and sat down across form him. "I have been well. Thank you for asking." She replied, staring at the fireplace. "I'm sorry to hear about your brothers. It's hard losing a family member like that." She told him, turning to face him with a smile on her face. She wanted him to at least feel welcomed here. Maybe she should drop the formalities and begin making him feel more comfortable. She could tell that her demeanor was beginning to affect him and as it should. Many of guards would tense up whenever she acted like this. She smiled to herself. She needed to loosen up. After all, he wasn't bad and he was pushed into this as much as she was.

She reached over best she could and grabbed an apple, her dress almost creaking under the pressure. She smiled awkwardly at him, trying to hide her pain. The dress was just a bit too tight and she could hardly breath but she would tough it out. She pulled the apple to her mouth and took a small bite, chewing with one hand stuck in her lap. Her back was still straight but she hoped that her eyes would convey her... feelings for him. She didn't want to seem uncaring but at the same time she couldn't shake her posture. she felt ridged but at the same time was trying to relax and the dress wasn't helping... nor the heat. Still, she did not buckle nor complain. Her face showed her lineage. A long line of prim and proper princess. That was what she had to be... Even though... She long to be where Link was. To be among the trees and the animals. To be free from this suffocating castle, this suffocating dress, all the suffocating rules and mannerisms. She needed a break. She needed someone she could relax around. Her back was starting to hurt, but she didn't show it. She turned and looked back at the fire. She couldn't even relax around Link. She was bound by duty and promise.

She turned those thoughts away and once again turned to Aidan. "So, what of the rest of your family? Are they well? Loss like that can strengthen the ties of a family like nothing else." She said, a soft smile on her face. She didn't pity him, but she saw in him maybe a bit of herself? Maybe... Maybe he knew the suffocating nature of being tied down, of being forced to wear the maskings of nobility, of the upper class. She felt great hatred for the dress that sat upon her body. As if it were a symbol of her shackles; Shackle she knows she can never take off.

Aidan's smile went away at the Princess' words. "Brothers and sister." he corrected her in thought. He wasn't sure how a member of royalty could have forgotten a detail like that. In fact, he wasn't sure why she had brought up the subject. As his thoughts returned to the accident, Aidan's anxiety turned from uncomfortable to retching. His right arm began shaking but he managed to stop it by planting it against the arm of his chair. He had to force a smile as she continued to ask about his family and the accident. "Why does she keep bringing it up?" In the last year, every time he'd visit other nobles they'd always ask about his family and the accident. And it always made Aidan uncomfortable. He just wanted to forget now. "Change the subject to something more optimistic..."

After some silence, Aidan turned to Zelda. He faced her, red-eyed and smiling. "Speaking of family, I'm looking forward to becoming a part of the royal one. How about you?" he said, then awkwardly added. "I mean...getting married. Not being a part of the royal family. Because...you already are. Part of it, that is."

She looked at him after the long silence as he tried to change the subject. Hmm... Maybe the scars were still too fresh... She glanced back over at the fireplace and then back at him. Marriage. Her heart cringed at the thought but she didn't show it. "Getting married..." She thought about it for a moment, her head bent down towards her laps. Should she be truthful and tell him the whole idea kind of makes her stomach churn? She let out a small sigh and then picked up her head, smiling at Aidan. "I couldn't be more pleased. I never thought I'd be so lucky as to have you as my future groom. I look forward to what the future may bring for us and Hyrule as a nation." She told him, a small smile held on her face. It seemed as though the two were swapping back and forth subjects that they did not want to talk about and this was one Zelda'd rather not talk about but... she must. She picked her head up again and looked off in the direction of the windows, a smile still on her face. "I hope that you find our castle as well as it's inhabitant's to be more than welcoming. I hope you feel at home here. If there is anything we can do to make that happen, let me or a worker know." She explained and then turned her head back to him. Every part of her being told her to get away from this. Tell him to go away, she didn't need a king.

She stood slowly. "Well, why don't we change location? I could show you to your room, at least until after the wedding. It's a bit... hot in here anyway." She told him, already walking towards the door. She didn't really care where they went but it was already getting a bit awkward staying in this room. She, herself, needed a change of venue.

Aidan's smile became genuine at the Princess' answer. He wasn't certain whether she meant what she said or was just being nice, but it made Aidan feel happy nonetheless. It also helped eased his nervousness a bit. His eyes remained fixated on Zelda as she turned to face the window. "I'm...flattered that you think so well of me. And I think I'll feel right at home in time."

At the Zelda's next choices of words, Aidan's face went red a little. "Show me to my room? Hot in here?" There was nothing in the Princess tone to imply that she was...well, implying anything. But Aidan nevertheless found his mind going there. He did his best to fight back the blush as he nodded his head in agreement. "Indeed. I'd love to take a tour around the castle with you, my dear." he said.

Aidan got out of his chair and stood up. He decided to do what he had always been told was gentlemanly, and extended his arm out for the Princess to take.

She stood, watching him walk towards her. He held out his arm for her to take. She had to admit that him calling her dear and sent her heart through another spasm. She felt like it was being ripped out and by her own hand. She took a deep breath, careful not to show her apprehension to Aidan and then with a gentle ease, placed her hand on his arm. "Then, let's begin by walking to the dining area." She told her, her voice soft, almost angelic. An expert ear, one someone that had known her for quite some time would hear the facade. They would hear how fake she sounded and how the whole thing was killing her inside. She'd tried her best to kill her emotions, to live for the people. To live for her father.

As they walked, she kept her head held high and her back straight. They walked through the grandiose hallways, servants stopping every now and then to bow as they passed. Zelda paid no mind. She had a destination and she wanted to get there with the least amount of interruptions. She should also show him the infirmary and the gardens... They finally arrived at the dining area and she motioned to the room with her other hand. "This is the dining hall. We'll eat here as well as hold meetings here." She explained, looking at the door of the room. Inside were several tables, with one main table on the far right. It was far more elegant in design and often covered with a cloth that held the family crest. That was another thing that scared her. Aidan, at the time of her father's death, would become her King. Granted, she held far more power over him, it still frightened her. What if he wasn't cut out for the job? What if he harmed her people? She didn't know if it was even possible for them to separate after marriage. No... It was the people's choice. They could and would kick him out of his position if he did too terrible of a job. She walked over to the door and opened it. They walked inside and she motioned to the royal family's table. "That is where we will sit. I, on the right, and you on the left. For now, I sit next to my father, and you to my left. Mother's seat is still left vacant." She explained and then turned to exit once again. "People will often leave things in her chair to honor her memory..." She told him, her voice barely audible.

She looked over at him and smiled weakly before walking off towards the infirmary. "Next is the infirmary. We have many skilled doctors that stay here all year round. Should anything happen to you, go here and seek help." She explained as they approached the large doors. All of the doors in the castle were very large and highly decorated, the crest etched into every single one of them. She pulled away from Aidan's arm and knocked on the door. When a feeble, "H-Hello?" resounded, the pushed the doors open and walked inside, motioning for Aidan to follow her. Inside was a rather frail looking old man with large spectacles. "Zelda? Is that you?" He asked and she nodded gingerly. "Yes, Dr. Zoten. I've brought my fiance for you to meet." She told him. Dr. Zoten looked up at her and then to Aidan, pushing his glasses up to see him better. "Oh! And what a fine young man he is!" Zotan yelled as only an old man could. Zelda had a strong relationship with Zotan, he'd helped her mother when she was giving birth to Zelda and he'd been there for her ever since. If he liked Aidan, then she knew she could trust him. Dr. Zotan walked over closer to Aidan, inspecting him. "So, what's your name, young man?" He asked, a smile creeping up on his face.

Aidan nodded as the Princess accepted his arm. His smile remained strong as he was taken on tour around the castle. He was feeling happy, Zelda's previous comment about being lucky to have Aidan still ringing in his mind. Apparently the Princess was enjoying his company, and he in turn found her attractive. The angelic grace with which she moved and spoke was still intimidating, but at the same time gave her a very alluring quality. With their arms together, Aidan was feeling more confident than nervous now. "She's starting to like you. Don't do anything stupid and mess it up now." he told himself.

His red-eyes lingered on Zelda for most of the tour, only shifting away when they were in the gardens and dining room. Eventually they reached in infirmary and Aidan's fiancée pulled away. She banged on a door and a old man with oversized glasses came out to greet them. He couldn't help but smile brightly at the doctor's compliment. "I'm Aidan Lautrec. Nice to meet ya." he said. Then he asked something, rather out of the blue. "Do you know what deku flowers they have outside in the garden? The big ones with the purple tint. I asked one of the guards and he said he didn't know."

Zelda looked at Aidan, confusion shown clearly on her face. Why did it matter to him? She turned to see the same reaction out of Dr. Zoten, albiet a bit more happy about the question. "Well, that my boy, is a Deku Baba. It is a species of carnivorous famous for it's short temper, feisty attitude. They're also a good source of deku sticks and deku nuts. We generally stay away from them but they do keep some of the other dangerous wildlife away. Their skin can also be used in medicine, as an antidote if you ever get bitten by one. Because if you do, those without the antidote have died within about a week. That's why we tell the child as well as adults to stay away from them. But we do keep a constant supply of the antidote." He explained, his back straightening a bit as his pride was inflated. Zelda'd learned this in school, she could have told him just as well as Dr Zoten. Though, Aidan didn't know that and she wasn't about to tell him either. Let him think she was brainless. It'd be more surprising later when he found out anyway. "Do you have more questions for him or would you like to continue the tour? The next stop would be your room. Then, we'll need to head to the dining room. You're parents will be there and we'll have dinner. Remember?" She asked, not trying to say he bad memory, just wondering if he knew. She didn't want to be pushy either.

Dr. Zoten smiled at the young man and Zelda. "Why don't you go show the boy to his room. There will be time later for his questions. We don't want you two late for dinner. You know you're father wouldn't stand for it, Zelda." He said, turning to look at Zelda. She smiled and nodded and then walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Alright. I'll see you then, Dr. Zoten." She said before pulling away. She walked back over to Aidan and held her hand out for his arm once again. "Shall we?"

Aidan nodded his head, smiling at the while as Dr. Zoten spoke. "A Deku Baba? I've always wanted to see one of those up close before..." he thought. After the doctor finished his explanation, Aidan's fiancée asked if he had any other questions. He turned to Zoten and opened his mouth, eager to ask away, but the doctor spoke before he could. Aidan frowned a little in disappointment. He watched as Zelda walked over to the doctor and wrapped her arms around his neck. Apparently they were very close.

His red-eyes remained on Zelda as she walked back to his side and extended her hand. He smiled again and accepted it, linking their arms together once more. "Indeed we shall. Lead the way, my lady." he answered.

She smiled back at him and began leading him in the direction of the rooms. Most of the rooms were all relatively close to one another, save for royalty's. Her room was on the other end of the castle. Though, after they married, he would move into her room. It was a temporary thing. She walked over to one of the rooms and opened the door, motioning for Aidan to head inside. "I hope you like it. Though, it is only temporary." She told him, heading inside after him. "You should be proud, staying in a room that held one of Hyrule's greatest heros." She told him, chuckling a bit. She could never take him seriously when they all called him Hyrule's greatest hero. All she saw in Link was a boy who cared to much. Not to mention a bit of a klutz. she sighed and walked over to the bookshelf. "This room did always have the better selection of books. Sometimes, I..." She stopped herself in her tracks. Why was she confiding in him? Maybe... it's because he was a friend so long ago. But still, she usually kept to herself about such matters. After all, a princess mustn't complain. It's much too unlady-like. She took in a deep breath and turned to face Aidan, her hands once again held neatly in front of her. "Is there anything else you need?" She asked. She felt like a main, but she was the hostess here and she wanted to be polite.

Aidan's eyes wandered around as he examined his new room. It looked rather impressive - as quality as one might expect from a royal chamber. He was a bit disappointed by the scare bookshelf, by figured he'd be filling it up with his own collection shortly. All in all, he felt he would enjoy staying here quite a bit. His ears peaked up when Zelda mentioned that one of Hyrule's greatest heroes had previously been here. "Who does she mean...Link, perhaps?" It was the first name that came to Aidan's head. The left-handed swordsman had rescued Princess Zelda previously, so it would definitely make sense. Realizing this excited Aidan. Link was an idol of sorts to him. Aidan wished that he could have been the sorts of things he heard of the hero doing in stories.

He turned back to face Zelda as she began speaking, reflecting his own thoughts about the bookshelf. She stopped briefly before asking if he need anything. Aidan's red eyes flashed and he smiled. "All I need to be happy is you, your Highness."

A pale pink hue grew on her cheeks. She was a bit flustered. No one else had been so openly... flirtatious with her. Though, he did have the rights to do so. She smiled and let out a small chuckle. It was a bit cheesy though. "All I need is for you to be happy so it looks like we're all good." She told him, smiling and shaking her head at him. She had to admit, this was the first time she'd so openly laughed at someone in a long time. Then again, she'd always found herself giggling at Link. He'd always been such the klutz at times. It was a wonder how he managed to save the world. She straighten up a bit and let out a small sigh of sorts.

"Then I shall let you do as you please until dinner is ready." She told him before walking towards the door. "If you need me, you know where to find me. Unless..." She starting, thinking for a moment. Should she invite him to join her? Maybe so. "Unless you'd like to join me. Though, I was just going to go to the library to continue my studies for a bit. I'm learning about the economy of Hyrule right now. Well, in more depth anyway. I have a few research papers to conduct. In a few days I'll be leaving for the Hyrule town square to research. You're welcome to come with me if you'd like." She told him, not wanting him to feel left alone but also giving him the choice to be alone.

Aidan's cheeks flushed a little at the Princess' laugh. He thought he was being smooth, but apparently that wasn't the case. He smiled still though, amused that he managed to get a reaction out of her. His smile then grew as Zelda asked if he wanted to join her in the library. Aidan had always wanted to see the Royal Family's libraries. "I bet there's a thousand books I've never even heard of in there..." The thought made him giddy. Although her topic of research wasn't something that interested Aidan, he'd taken any chance he could to check out the library.

"Yeah! Totally!" he said, a bit too excited. Aidan's red flushed red as he realized his un-gentlemanly outburst. "Er...I mean..." He walked forward and took Zelda's hand. "Your Highness, I'd love nothing more to escort you to the library." He did his best not to stutter and fight back his burning cheeks.

She chuckled slightly at his attempts to regain his composure and tried her best to suppress another one at him calling her 'Your Highness.' "Please, Aidan. Call me Zelda." She told him, grabbing his hand in return. They walked down the halls towards the royal library where Zelda let go of his hand and walked over to her desk. She had several books piled up and a journal set in the middle of it all. It was untouched and just the way she'd left it. Without another word, she sat down and started reading and taking down notes.

This was something she'd done all her life. Her education had long since been in her own hands. She had a teacher but he was only there when she called for him. Otherwise, she was on her own. Maybe eventually she'd go out and study the economy of Hyrule a bit more closely, in the real world. But that would have to wait until after the wedding. Which was in less than 5 days if she had her dates correctly. Her thoughts returned to the dress hung in her closet. It had been her mother's before hers and was being refurbished to fit her personality, whatever that meant. Even Aidan's suit was a royal family heirloom . Not to mention the rings and the crowns they would both receive. She stopped writing and stared down at her writing. I really hope he's up to this... She thought, her eyes showing her worry both for him and her people. Because what he didn't know, was that while Zelda was still princess in name, this marriage meant that they would be the new king and queen and her father's health wasn't in all that great of a condition. She sighed, picking the pencil back up. I still don't understand why I need to get married in the first place...

Aidan nodded his head as he fought his blush down. "Very well, Zelda." He followed hand-in-hand with the Princess until they reached the library. As she began her research, Aidan wandered off to do a little research of his off. He walking through the aisles of the royal library with a grin on his face. His red eyes scanned over the titles of every book he passed, not having enough time to examine the contents of each one now but wanting to remember any that caught his interest for later. A few minutes later, Aidan decided that he'd spent enough time browsing, and that he should probably use this opportunity to get better acquainted with his fiancée.

He picked up the nearest chair and walked by to where Zelda was. Aidan placed the chair down at the study desk and sat down next to her. He tried to lean over and see what the Princess was working at specifically. "Can I help?" he asked. Although Aidan didn't care for the subject of economics, his father had spent years drilling the subject into his head. "Being the heir to the wealthiest family in Hyrule, I'm suitably well-versed in this manner of study."

She looked up when she heard Aidan behind her and closed her books when he asked to help. "No. I'm fine, thank you." She replied, straightening her dress like it was a habit. "Honestly... I should expand my studies more. What sort of things do you know?" Zelda asked, turning to look at Aidan, turning her entire body to face him. She thought it rude to only turn her head. This way, he knew he had her full attention.

"I'm interested to know what sort of things you normally study." She continued, smiling brightly.
