Character as in the Servant Class or the specific figure?

@SilverinkNo that's fine I'll take you on your word as a man who likes to be taken on his. As I said in my edit is there any specific character you want to play as? I'll be asking everyone this to prevent sudden complications. In case you don't know canon servants there's a list on the type moon wiki you just need to look it up. Iskander for example is too strong due to his reality marble. However his kid/teen self isn't as he lacks that ability. Class is also something I need to know.

@vancexentan I am wanting to take the Rider Class as well as Master Role. In terms of who I want as the Rider character, will have to glance over the wiki for that ^.^. So many choices.

@SilverinkAlright I'll reserve the rider class for you then. If you want personal recommendations I will give them to you. Please note that nerfs may need to be applied to some canon ones for roleplay's sake. Cu Chulain for example could literally insta-gib people from across the city at full power.

@vancexentan Suggestions are welcome! I am tempted to go with Medusa, just because I adore her overall lore..and or I would be willing to make a few changes to canon.

Also Medusca is rider in Fate/Stay Night.

@SilverinkAlright it's up to you with how you want to play her. She'd probably lose Brynhildr romantia in exchange for a pegasus noble phantasm. She also might lose the love lunacy as she would be a valkyrie. It would be like how Lancer/Rider Arthur is different from Saber Arthur

I am fine with that, bring on the pretty horse =p. Besides, gives me reason to play her as a more cynical character compared to one torn. As well being a bit more durable if she goes full valkyrie.

@SilverinkWell she'd still have her memories of being who she is. Her love for Sigurd and all is still a major point for her. She just isn't a yandere level of crazy for it. It's up for you to play her as you will though.

I'd also recommend keeping up looking for other riders through the canon, or history just in case someone else finds your fancy a bit more. I still need to confirm with the others their roles and make sure we have enough players my base is usually four.

Besides, Caster's just a preference. Any Servant that jives with a smug but kindhearted actor is a-okay for me.

I think I'll try the Archer class.

@PaulHaynek That's fine but you'll have almost no presence in fight scenes there are few masters who can match higher tier servants. Likewise you're going to have to ask either Silver, or Helios if they want to team up with you.

Oh no, I'm not planning on just any actor. This guy can fight and has powers, he's just not sure where it came from. In fact, I'm planning that he knows enough combat and power to at least distract Servants for a few minutes and get away with it. (If that's alright with you, of course.)

All mages have powers. He still holds no chance against Lancer, or Caster. There are only a few people I know who can hold their own. Emiya (Unlimited Blade works), Souichirou Kuzuki (trained assassin who more or less had to fight a nerfed down Arthur WITH Caster's help), Rin (she's in the top thirty magi in history), Kirei (I don't see him winning a real fight), and Kiritsugu (his time powers will give him breathing room but like Kirei It will be a circumstantial win). Being able to distract a servant is one thing because it depends on the servant in question. A smart master wouldn't get near an enemy servant if given the choice. they'd speed blitz and murder you.

Short story made shorter: It's possible to barely defend oneself against a servant if you have some sort of combat talent, or deus ex machina like Shiro but it's not exactly medium tier guys doing anything meaningful. Let's take my guy: Leon, my master, is a skilled duelist as he fights in sanctioned mage duels back in america. He has talent when it comes to using his magic in combat situations. Wind, and Water affinity likewise make him pretty flexible. However he won't be able to hold back a servant, or track them easy. In another version of this rp Avenger literally speed blitzed him, grabbed his hand, and would have killed him if he wasn't interested in seeing him suffer more. Leon was for all intents, and purposes having his hand crushed by a being he had little chance against.

The main group I'd prefer to play as are: Jeanne of Arc, Mordred, Lancelot (nerfed), or Siegfried. Mordred is probably preferred but she is very violent, and rowdy. Or if the majority wants something different maybe Nero, or prototype Arthur?

Also according to the wiki Abe Lincoln somehow holds the talent to go into the Saber class...weird...

I do feel the need to say that Mordred has a severe superiority complex she will be a pain to work with as a team member though she will serve Leon all the same. She is very much a tsundere in some cases and the key to getting her to be 'kinder' is to prove yourself to her.
