Star City - May, 17th 2045

This is the time and place that a team of vigilantes went back in time. Their mission is to stop the forces of Darkseid from taking over the planet. Their destination July, 20th 2017 this is the day that they will have the greatest chance of success to change their bleak future.

So my idea is just that a group of Vigilantes (Meta-humans or not) from the future get dropped in the middle of Star City mere months before Darkseid attacks and all hell breaks loose. The way I wanna work this is fairly simple. We might encounter Oliver and co. However unless given permission by me through the OOC or pm only my Co-GM and I will be playing them. This is to attempt to keep some continuity with both the show and our RP. Unfortunately I do have some rules for characters if people are interested.

- No Kyrptonians or Martians. This is due to the fact that those featured in Supergirl Are the only ones of their kind left alive. And for those getting smart, I have my next rule.

-No character will be a clone of/ Relative of any DC superhero from within the Arrow-verse or the comics. (Alternate earth versions count as well.)

-Limit 3 Metahuman abilities per character and they must be related to a single primary ability. So that equates out to One primary ability and two sub abilities based on said ability.

Alright heres my idea I hope people wanna participate and I hope to see you out there.

You had me at Arrowverse.

Amazons? Beetle Scarabs? Atlantians? Lanterns?

If the Beetle Scarab was to attach to a Meta Human how would that work with your power rule?

Done Lantern and Amazon before. Never done Beetle Scarab. I'll do Beetle Scarab.

I was mostly joking. If I did use that color the character wouldn't be known as the Cattleya Beetle, because you know someone is going to shorten it to cow.

okay, so here's a question - What do the Time Masters have to say about this?

Also, I'm down for the idea. I've got some ideas to go with it.

They were killed by Snart, so I am thinking not a lot. The Legends and Rip's new Time Bureau may have something to say though.

Oh come now you ruin all the fun asking that. XD Rip and the Time Bureau are the ones sending us back because the Legends are focusing on their stuff. Rip may show up from time to time but not too often.

I'm in.

I'm not as well read so I'm gonna go play a clueless guy. I have watched Flash/Legs/Arrow though, and some of Superbenoist.

So here's my character application, just to get it out there. I'm playing a regular non-powered vigilante armed with self-made weaponry. The time jump causes his stuff to malfunction, and now he has new powers! Yay! His goal would be to get back to his time safely so he can exploit his new powers. I have no idea what the powers are yet, will figure it out once we get this thing going.

Just my two cents:

If he wants to exploit powers to me that sounds like a villain. Now a super hero would take advantage of powers.

How would time travel give you powers? As it shows on Legends it can be bumpy, disorienting, and possibly detrimental to your health, but none of that would lead to powers. Unless you go through something like at the end of season 2 end up in a time where time is barfing everything into one time, that may lead to powers if your character was destined to get powers eventually.

Ok, wasn't sure if we were using the continuity of the time masters being destroyed.... Also the Time Bureau thing is a spoiler.. I haven't gotten into Season 3 yet.

It's literally a comic book story... If water vapor can give you super speed, why not time travel + malfunctioning future weapons? I don't see why that can't work. There's plenty of ways of time travel in this universe, not just how the Legends did it. It's not the time travel itself giving the character powers. It's the accident, the reaction between his weapons and the time travel. Much in the same way of lightning and chemicals.

Only saw Season 1 & 2 of Flash and Season 1 of Arrow.

I'm thinking that maybe my guy just wakes up from a coma (Flash style) near where you arrive, maybe because you arrive and trigger him waking up. He wouldn't have woke up for another year without a similar stimulus. He'd be just as lost as me.

Maybe Time powers.

i try to steer clear of superhero RPs but due to the lack of active original content, i may have to consider joining. I like Flash, and the first season of Legends of Tomorrow, and this sounds a little bit like that.
