Easiest way to make an "OC" is the fanfic way. Rip a totally different franchise and adapt it to the one you're writing for. So maybe I'll make not-a-saiyan named Melon, er Melon-y. Yeah, Melony Loch, as naming my character Melony "body of water" sounds like it fits the time travel theme. Not sure why.
No, Melony Ness, and make her scottish. Yeah, and her power is that when she recovers from fatigue or injury, her body reinforces itself greatly.

OK, I'm watching the first season of the Flash again, so here's my character's backstory.

Six months before the particle accelerator explosion, her drunk boyfriend beat her. The injuries paralyzed her. She ended up moving to Central City to a lab there that was tasting a new Stem Cell Treatment for Mercury Labs. It worked by targeting damaged areas and reinforcing the tissue there.

Only hours after the first injection she opened her window, only to see an explosion in the distance. A wave of energy washed over her and, when she woke up a few minutes later, she was able to move her legs enough to drag herself into bed. Apparently the energy had caused all of the cells in her body to take on the properties of the stem cell treatment, and whenever she healed she would get better than before the injury.

She's currently at just beyond peak human levels in speed, strength, agility, and durability due to working out to push herself in those areas. She moved back home to Star City, though, so no one in Central knows about her being a metahuman.

Edit: Also, in the first episode of the Flash it's called Starling City. Prop problem?

Your character is probably really old since we are time traveling from the future back in time, unless your character joins after the rest time travels or the powers keep her young.

Not putting in interest or anything, but it was in season three where Ray Palmer renamed it to Star City, which was on the heels of the Deathstroke invasion in S2.

@Burning KittyAging is a form of cellular damage, so I could see how those powers could keep her young. I haven't seen it, but isn't it only a few years difference, though? Maybe a decade, tops?

Well lets see here 2045-2017=.....28....I mean that's plausible enough for me but seeing as we have a few people now I'll get the OOC and Character Sheets ready and get them up by tomorrow at the latest.

I think I am going to go with a more normal color instead of whatever weird almost fictional sounding (at least to me) color I suggested earlier.

I just realized there is very little of him that is Guardian. Pretty much Guardian in name and appearance only.

I loved M.A.N.T.I.S. when I saw it as a kid. I wish I could find it again and rewatch!

I know a while back Amazon had a digital version for sale. I bought it and downloaded it, then somehow I lost and now Amazon acts like I never paid for it.

Interested. I will say, I'm not watching Arrow right now, would that be an obstacle if I don't mind spoilers? I'm mostly just excited at the concept of a reasonably-powered DC RP. If that's not chill, that's cool too. Don't wanna spoil the fun

Nah, all good. I really don't watch that much actual TV regardless, so it should be chill. That, and I will have ZERO meta-knowledge :D
