for someone who was having their innards thrashed with such savagery, the lord of lies seemed to be enjoying himself. So much so that he just laughed as his body was torn apart, even if he no longer had lungs to do so with. "Oh you! The stubbornness of nature. You know you can't kill me like this, yet you keep on trying. Perhaps that's why you'll never experience true growth." By now, the black ink that was getting splattered across the sky had no shape. It was just complete darkness, a canvas dipped in black paint. When the Harbringer went in to deliver a savage bite, the black canvas attempted to envelope him. It was snapping shut like a massive bear trap, ready to flatten anything caught between it's halves.

@Conch Shell VII

Jane covered his sword in black ink in an attempt to cut the bag. Surely if it was friendly, the only way to cut it open would be to coat his weapon with whatever the enemy's weapon was. And... It worked! The bag was severed, and the Liar was no longer holding onto the bag. "What...Just...?" The bag stood upright. The legs that were coming out of the bottom of the bag did not belong to Junko. They were some very fancy boots covered in studs and metal. Somewhat futuristic in appearance. The person inside the bag stood up, and promptly ran off in the direction of the first intersection, still concealed by the bag. "HEY! You get back here!" Now it was the impostor who was doing the chasing.

OOC: Sorry if I'm thinking too hard again, but would this be the intersection the Mysts-soon-to-be-Endar are at? 'Cause the Mysts went right and Jane went left, but the Myst chase ended at the intersection near the original fight, and Jane's chase is... really, I can't actually tell.

The sudden snap of the trap spurred the chalky air to shudder; its backdraft pulling in the dust from every direction.

"All things in nature grow with time; only man is arrogant enough to rush perfection."

A familiar vortex of whipping winds spawned from the pavement near the center of the intersection, its whirling feeding into ghostly limbs and body until they all settled. A silent image, one partially made up of something as real as it was unreal and the rest everything in between, found itself beside the bag that the deceiver so treasured - enough so as to go on this whole endeavor. With almost a smug motion, it set one huge paw upon it, shifting it back slightly with living force as it too became whole and complete again; not just a phantom of ages old.

"Perhaps it is my turn to see just how willing you are to pursue." The powerful voice threatened, it splayed digits atop the supposed quarry, "Or would my doing so force you to admit a truth?"

The great cat, as any would expect of eternal nature, enjoyed the concept of coercing someone called the "Lord of Lies" into telling the truth. Perhaps not verbally, but by action and deed. After all, he had perhaps ventured into an ante from which he might not escape from without a loss. There was no telling what became of the soldier Jane or the colorful, swirling, rogue mists. All the Harbinger could ensure was that it and this conflict it found itself in, worked itself out favorably. The rest could be dealt with later.

@CollectorOfMyst OOC: The thinking too hard thing was a joke. This would be the very first intersection. The intersection just beyond the one the mists are currently at, and just behind the Harbringer's current location. You can draw a straight line through all of these locations if they were on a map.

Jane let out some horrible noise halfway between a joyous whoop and a bloodcurdling scream. He leapt into the air and swung his blade at the sky. His gambit had worked somehow, and he was completely oblivious to how stupid it was and how lucky he'd just been. Of course, none of that prevented him from "AAAARRRRH! I AM THE GREATEST WARRIOR TO EVER LIVE! I AM GOING TO ROCKET JUMP TO HEAVEN AND SLAP SUN TZU IN HIS DUMB SOUL PATCH BECAUSE I-- HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Jane suddenly sheathed his sword and took off after the Lord of Lies. He wasn't very fast, but now that his sword was put away, slicked with the lifegrease of his enemies, nothing was preventing him from pulling out his rocket launcher again.

"YOU GET BACK HERE!" Jane bellowed. "I AM NOT DONE KILLING YOU YET!"

With that, Jane loaded a rocket into his launcher and opened, aiming to shoot the Lord of Lies in the back with a goddamn rocket launcher.

The soldier seemed fine on his own, but it was quite baffling that Junko wasnt in the bag, but a random person. Bendy sat down to think of what to do, while plaining out a strategy.

"Come on, think! How can I end this idiot?! Ugh, this is giving me a headache.."

He was getting tired of the mind tricsk from the liar, and getting ticked off from wasting time on that pointless powerhouse. He tried to calm himself down with deep breathing, hoping a clear mind will help him focus. Bendy's attention turned to the ink that was spilled everywhere in the area and had an idea.

A very bad idea,

"No, I possibly couldnt....could I?" he pondered to himself. Bendy wasnt in it for his 'idea'. It was more of a last resort, due to the unstability of it.

As long as he was able to keep his mind straight, it wont be any trouble...

...Right?

He got up to the puddles to absorb for more power, as he done so, Bendy thought of the deciever. The more he did, he got more mad with rage.

And boi wasnt he pissed.

Cleaning up the last puddle, he motioned his minions into the ink puddle that they used to get there before bendy seeped down into it himself.

Moving to position behind the harbinger and the liar, the watchers rose up from the surounding puddles and started advancing twords the two. He himself rose up
From the black liquid, but his appearance was different...way, wAY different.

Instead of the little devil darling that people knew of, in place of bendy was a monstrous creature, the true ink-demon. Bendy slowly looked at the two, his smile naught fading.

The liar was a bit too preoccupied trying to catch the elusive escapee to really care what Jane was doing. Even if it was something as seemingly important as avoiding a rocket. When it did hit him, the explosion sent the impostor tumbling end over end across the pavement. But this only momentarily slowed down the Lord of Lies, who promptly pushed himself back to his feet again and resumed pursuit. Even with a gaping hole in his chest, he didn't really seem to mind the wound. Jane however, would continue pursuit. It would seem that this Lord of lies was rushing to meet up with the other one.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity@UnknownScarlet4

The lord of lies in this location looked amused. He just smirked, making no other movements from his position.

"That will not be necessary, feline. This ruse has gone on long enough. I have accomplished far more than I intended." The escapee and second impostor arrived at the scene. "Where is the other one?"

"He expired." The newly arrived lord was wheezing, despite having no lungs to do so with.

"Did they actually find out how to destroy these bodies?" Another rocket smacked into the newly arrived lord, sending him tumbling end over end again. "Maybe not... Regardless, I have preparations to make elsewhere. Farewell." And with that, the remaining impostors bubbled into ink and seeped back into the ground.

Meanwhile, the escapee finally got the bag off of his head. "Whew, it was getting hot in there." He appeared to be a pilot of some type. Anyone familiar with aviation could tell this easily by his baggy red jumpsuit. "Thanks for rescuing me. The name is Major Stryker. I was flying my space ship around when HOLY COW WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" The space pilot drew his laser pistol and aimed it at the Ink Devil. "Are you with that impostor fella!?"

"Flee to the content of your flighty heart, but I..." The great cat rumbled in tone as it shifted between real and unreal again, paying momentary pause to note the strange, almost twisted new company of a black being, "I will lie in wait."

"As for you, if I need contend with you as well, I shall."

The beast turned to confront it's more startling company, at least in comparison to say, Major Stryker. Not to say either were expected, but a man in a flight suit was a more readily accepted fact than some sort of apparent black demon; it was all too familiar to the other dark things the aspect had confronted, but whatever it was, it seemed to be its own.

"Whoever or whatever it is, assume nothing of its appearance." The Harbinger of Ferocity said plainly, brow narrowed and golden eyes focused.

It was going to make no assumptions on this day as to who was who or who what.

Dan Smith has no idea what is going on here. Dan Smith doesn't understand why he is on the top of a skyscraper either, but he is willing to bet that he could do some sick parkour stunts. Dan Smith mostly wants to go home and eat ice cream while marathoning a mystery murder on Netflix, but he can't seem to get down.

Dan Smith thinks he's anxious too, but he's not sure.

Drifting slowly closer back to the group, the Mysts felt itself getting heavier and heavier. Was it... going away?

It paused. The group certainly looked different now. The Harbinger had changed a lot. Others had joined them in the meanwhile. And the Stryker... a human who, somehow, bore a similar essence to the Junko, but was most definitely not.

Then, with a searing flash of light, the Mysts were no more. A young man garbed in steel armour lay face down on the pavement. A rapier was attached to his belt, and there was a circlet on his brow. He was unconscious.

Jane rounded the corner just as the Lords fled. Jane didn't seem to care very much that they were getting away. Instead, he decided to take this as a victory. "THAT'S RIGHT! YOU'D BETTER RUN!" he screeched, waving his fist in the air. "Come after me again and you'll get worse than that! Your butt and my foot have an appointment at your earliest convenience, maggot!"

After a moment, Jane glanced around and saw the newcomer. "Ah. Major, sir!" he remarked, giving him a quick salute. "Good to have you with us. I don't know who this Lord of Lies person is but I do know he's kidnapped one of our friends. Speaking of which, I'm gonna take a look around. Somebody get the Major up to speed!"

With that, Jane turned on his heel and clomped off into the fashion store where Junko had vanished. If he noticed the giant grinning ink demon, he didn't say anything.

Stryker held his gun up for several seconds before sliding it back into his holster. Jane's appearance seemed to have relaxed him.

"That won't quite be necessary sir, but I thank ya anyway. Do make sure to check the clothes store. That was the last place I saw Junko." He looked among everyone who was still present. That included the now unconscious man. But the Major didn't look too concerned. This world was too strange to worry about every little oddity. Trying to understand why the man was unconscious would be like trying to teach Jane real-world physics. Though Stryker was not entirely without things to say. "I've been here a lot longer than y'all. Yet it's still laughable how little I really understand. I know we all came from somewhere else. I've been talking with some of the others like you. They have some dark theories about that, but I won't get into them now." He turned to look at the Harbinger of Ferocity. "That Lord of Lies fella is a tricky son of a gun. He can duplicate any power he observes. However, there appear to be some limitations. Though I can't say for sure what they are. I just noticed it takes him a lot longer to copy certain powers. I think that's why he's taken to capturing some of us."

Bendy sat there in thought as he looked at the lion, pilot, and the solider. 'What happened to the liar?' He thought before quickly reminind himself to turn back to normal before hell in a teapot broke loose.

So he did, to reasure stryker that he was no foe, and for a proper introduction.

"Cough, cough!* Sorry bout that gentlemen! I tend to have some sliiiight anger issues.." Bendy said before...

Puking up some ink.

Yep, after his little plan was in vain, the ink demon felt nausious. Atleast he was able to be stable for a short while.

"Ugh...sorry, I get kinda sick when i turn back from THAT.."

He wiped some dripping ink from his forehead before going back to his cheery nature.

"Anyways! I'm Bendy! The dancing demon! I got turned into a snake by some wackadoo sorcerer that I ticked off. Nice to meet you!"he said holding out his hand to be shook.

Jane stomped off towards the clothing store, threw open the door with a loud bang and stepped inside. As soon as he stepped inside, however, he stopped in his tracks, turned on his heel and leaned out the door. "Well I could have told you that would happen!" he snapped, jabbing a single finger dramatically at Bendy. "I have been saying for years wizards cannot be trusted. Don't like them, never have. You gotta stay alert when you deal with wizards. But take it from me, any trouble they get you into is generally nothing an automated machine turret or a grenade launcher or even a decent bow-and-arrow can't solve! That sorcerer gives you trouble again, just call me! I know what I am doing!"

With that, Jane stomped back into the clothing store and began shoving his way through the various racks of clothing, looking for any sign of a struggle.

The great cat found itself at a pause for a moment, seeing that for now the threats - from every angle prior - had fled in their own varied ways, be them physical or metaphysical. With a low, rumbling sigh, it shook its head and surveyed the damage to the area. It appeared little worse than it was already, still some grey, forsaken place that was once a city and still caked with ashen dust. No matter the case, the inky demon and the reaper had returned to conversing and Jane was off rummaging through the tattered and abandoned racks of clothing.

"I suppose before it escapes us completely, just what was a 'Lord of Lies'?"

OOC: sorry for my absence, but my more "serious" roleplay responsibilities are getting a little crazy right now. I haven't forgotten about this, but it might be a bit before I can respond. If someone wants to stand in as "GM" while I'm on my hiatus, that would be okay with me.
