Hi. It's been a long time since i really RP'd (successfully, anyway). I feel like it's probably best if i didn't jump right in to a group RP - i don't want to drag down an entire thread if things don't work out. Instead, i was sort of wondering if anyone would be willing to 1x1 with me in a relatively unstructured - but at least somewhat literate - environment, where i could get back in the swing of things.

I can be known to write rather densely - too densely, in fact - but please don't let that trick you in to thinking that i expect you to do the same. In the end, i want to try to match however much you want to write. Otherwise, it's not much of an exercise in cooperation, is it?

I'm up for almost anything, i think. I'd sort of be looking for whoever else to lead things.
edit: I should have mentioned this before. that's my fault. I'm more than a little shy about heavily romantic settings. Please still feel free to pose the question - there's no harm in asking - but i figure you ought to be made aware, if only for the sake of your own time and energy.

Do you have any interest in a more platonic story idea? there could definitely still be light romance, if the winds blew that way, but it wouldn't be the premise. Maybe something involving travel, or exploration?

i am so sorry for saying "i'd be up for almost anything" and then stepping back on my word like this. I thought i would be - honest! - but for some reason it didn't occur to me that that would include romance... I just wasn't thinking.
if there's a less 'dovey' story idea you have in mind, i would really appreciate it. Romance is... well, i have some hang-ups about romance.

Fantasy exploration context involving mages on two sides (the "good" and the "evil"), perhaps? Nothing too grand or really, that original in terms of the premise - just something with a little plot, assuming this very broad concept has any merit, that builds up and perhaps can build up to be something more if it catches your interest. Introduces with your char being a total magical novice that is taken in by my char and trained to be a rather effective warrior for the "good" side, and the plot goes from there. There's more thoughts in my head on that point, but I figured I'd pitch this little bit out first.
