Jin's contume consists of a black bodysuit that covers him completely, terminating just under his jawline. It is made of a glossy, black material that insulates against both heat and electricity. Lightweight armored plates made from a similar material cover his shins, thighs, shoulders, forearms, chest and upper back. These plates lightly conduct his powers to glow from underneath when they are active, giving him a sleek, futuristic appearance.
Name: Akagawa Jin
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Height: 162 cm
Weight: 54 kg
Personality: Jin gives off the appearance of being a reserved, serious individual that is in complete control of his emotions at all times. However, this is merely his demeanor, and not his true disposition. Jin is merely a sort of person with an inexpressive face and voice, making him seem to be bored or serious even when he is not. In actuality, Jin is a passionate and empathetic individual, who loves to talk to and try to understand other people. Unfortunately, he also has something of a temper, which flares when he is confronted with injustice or cruelty, or merely when certain "shortcomings" of his appearance are mentioned.
Background: Jin was born in Tokyo, a veritable hotbed of superhuman activity. Home to the largest population of both heroes and villains in the world, Jin grew up with superhuman antics as a part of daily life. His mother was a psychotherapist, mostly aiding overworked salarymen with their stress, but she had a few minor heroes and villains among her clientele. Jin's parents had met when his mother was studying abroad in England, and had by chance met Jin's father, who was a superhero in London of some repute. As it was her last semester, she only came to find out that she was pregnant when she returned to Japan, and decided against informing Jin's father, who does not know about him to this day.
Jin was raised by his mother and grandparents in a small apartment in a relatively nice district in Tokyo. Even though he was half Japanese, Jin was the spitting image of his father, down to his practically emotionless face and voice. His appearance made Jin something of an outcast among his schoolmates, and though he had a fun and flashy Quirk, his perceived "creepiness" only exacerbated this. An expert in analyzing and understanding people by trade, Jin's mother became his confidant and supporter, and the two had an extremely close relationship. She taught him not to judge others, but to look to their life and circumstances to understand how they behaved. Even so, there was just a bit of fire in him that couldn't get stamped out. When his grandfather's shop was robbed at gunpoint, he learned to be empathetic to the robber who had committed the crime to feed his family, but still gave him a bit of a thrashing.
As Jin grew older, he aspired to become a Hero who could understand and help criminals, who were often people that were greatly in need. By eliminating the need to commit crime, crime itself could be eliminated. Not to say that there would not still be true evil in the world, and Jin could let his inner fire out and teach them some harsh lessons as need be. While his family was not poor, they were not wealthy either, and could not afford the Tokyo Hero Academy. As such, Jin moved quite far from home to attend Komei Academy, the best school that he could get into with his grades and exam scores.
Quirk: ???
Talents: While Jin is not exactly a genius, he has a pet interest in chemistry, physics and other sciences, which aid him greatly in understanding and controlling his Quirk. As well, he has picked up from his mother a fairly extensive appreciation for psychology and behavioral theory, which he can use to many ends, such as negotiation or battle strategy.
