Idk lol it seems like no matter how often I look over it I never catch all the little mistakes. Especially grammar wise, I suck at grammar.

Its 11 here. So in my time it's like 2 in the morning, so I'm pretty tired but I decided to check to see if anyone posted something before I went to bed. And I noticed a very very long collab. I think it may be just a touch too much for me to read at the moment. But I decided to browse it and the very first thing that caught my eye was in the very same paragraph aggression was spelled correctly and incorrectly in the very same sentence. One was missing an s, and I have a feeling it's probably not the only error from just a little that I saw. It's not structured the best, the stuff needs to be previewed so I can be spaced out so it doesn't look weird. But everyone's a critic. I'm going to bed I guess I'll try to read it tomorrow. Maybe it will be fixed by then. XP

V0@SleepingSilence I'd fix but I didn't post it. I think we should at start putting. [ hr] tags in between writers. I think it's just a habit to reiterate what's happened while posting so atleast then you'll kind if get why. Not to mention it will break it up a bit

Concerns involving the roleplay's grammar are legitimate, however it is not quite the grammar that I have found lacking. Instead it is the genre or the play-style. The world this roleplay is set in, feels empty. Which perhaps for its genre being a superhuman thriller and the survival scenario the characters are set in, an expansive world should not be the focus, but rather the survival element. However, that is where I feel void, since I am now realizing that my strong skill as a GM is world-building. It makes sense due to the fact that before this roleplay I have been GMing roleplays pertaining to the space opera and fantasy genre. I will say that this roleplay has been a learning experience, though I have been recently thinking about closing up shop entirely. No, I don't want to cut off the roleplay so abruptly, but rather bring it to a conclusion. So, at least then, it will be a completed story with an epilogue.

What I am saying now is not particularly directed at anyone, but rather is something I believe all of you guys should know. This is just what I am thinking about in the moment, perhaps I may change my mind later.

I am curious to know what all of you think. Do you disagree with their being a conclusion and an epilogue, believing that it should not be dragged on any longer, but ended now? Or do think that there shouldn't be a conclusion anytime soon?

I don't see any reason to bring it to a close anytime soon; besides, there's still room to add to the story. Dante remains on the loose. We could have Maximation attempt to bribe one of the other Hybrids into helping capture him? And if that plan were to backfire, it's definitely something to work with and build on. Or perhaps the ones in custody manage to escape? We could also play around with the NPCs or add more characters. Let's say, for example, there are other Hybrids currently out on missions who somehow find out about this?

@beyond visions I don't necessarily want the thing to end. I think the World building could easily be fixed because we have just barely begun. I do think that too many collabs in a role-play make it hard to follow for people not involved in them. And they can become very jumbled and confusing if they're not edited. Honestly the spell check is just personal immersion for me. If it's something easy to miss it wouldn't even bother me. I don't look for errors. If there's a missing comma, You won't hear a word from me.

If you as the GM personally don't know where to take your story from here then we can either brainstorm together or if you really don't feel that this can go anywhere I guess we can end it. I'm on vacation so like I said I'm not going to be posting a whole lot this week.

Sorry for my absence all! Busy week, many deadlines. But as much as I love collabing with you all, I think this is the biggest thing slowing down this RP; right now, we've basically looking at a giant collab with every character besides Dante? D: So that's definitely slowed down the RP, since I could crank out a single post in a night but a collab takes time and coordination. But yeah, I think we could do with a brainstorming session/where we want to move forward with the plot/world building. Also, I haven't really noticed any grammatical errors that are so severe that I want to eat my own hands or anything, so there's that! This is probably one of the more grammatically correct groups I've been in.

Alright, so I let time sink in and give everyone a chance to respond to my last post. And, I think the next course of action is to have a solo post of Todd leading Naeemah and Poppy to Sevier. What solo posts do the best, is that they focus on a single character. So, though this roleplay may not be purposed to have extensive and expansive world-building, the focus is ushered on the characters.

Finally home, after my vacation. Yay.

@shivershiver Well I certainly appreciate that this group has some nice and chill people, but I can't guess I can't say the same...

I don't wish to step on anyone's toes for a mistake or two. I would want others to point out mistakes of my writing. (even when people tend to overcompensate.) But when it seems like/you are the only one that seems to be putting the minimal effort to do a second run through their writing. It can feel like you're wasting your time. I'm not saying that is necessarily the case but-

Now that I'm finally home to check, there are over 20 spelling/simple writing mistakes in that collab, which just shows a lack of proof reading as far as I am concerned. (and I'm mostly sure that it isn't because it's U.K spelling or what have you.)

There seems to be no editing in general for certain collabs, that's the most important part. If you make a mistake, and someone notices it and they aren't rude about it or anything, no harm, no foul. Just fix it. It shows some level of effort being made. Leaving mistakes in there, especially when pointed out doesn't show involvement. Just my own personal opinion.

But yes, I agree that there's too many collabs and not enough single posts. Might actually make the writing better as a result on top of it. I'll wait for others to post some single ones, and if anyone has an idea or decides to run into Dante. Let me know. :3

@SleepingSilence

I'm the one who posted, but I will admit I didn't do a second run through everything (at least not on the part that other ppl wrote.).

At least the parts that I wrote myself, I make sure to correct any mistake I see.

(Just corrected some spelling errors on the collab I posted (they weren't mine fyi)

PS: missing apostrophes may happen (mainly bcos I write in 2 different languages (pretty frequently) so I have to change my input method a lot on the fly, and sometimes I forget to do so.

PS2: anyone going to post? My post (the collab) was the penultimate one. Should i post next or wait? O_O

I can start working on something to post tomorrow, that's not extremely long. So everyone can start moving this along at a quicker pace, if everyone made single posts instead of collabs. Like I said before it would probably make it easier to digest and self-edit.

Posted. (Woot. Hit the exact word limit too.) So many things I need to prepare for this week, because I have two weeks of pet sitting to do. But I'll likely bring my computer, so it won't effect anything but how bored I'll be next month. ;D

@13org@omerta@SleepingSilence@CyanideSweetie@DeadDrop@shivershiver
After much thought, I have finally come to conclusion that it would be better to close the roleplay now, instead of continuing it even when there is a lack of passion. Now, I could force determination, yet never could I force creativity. Thus we would be left with the result of a bland plot. There are other reasons that bring me to this sudden conclusion, however I believe it best to keep those reasons private to conceal any drama that could unravel.

For everyone who has given their time and efforts to be a part of this story, I want to thank you. This has been quite the learning experience, and I am glad that I could go through it with you guys. I wish all of you the best, and thank you again.

@beyond visions 'Twas short-lived indeed but I definitely enjoyed this while it lasted. Do you have plans on possibly rebooting it? I'd definitely be down to join if that ever happens.
