Character Personality:His friends at the LHMCD describe him as an, prideful, and honorable man. He believes in doing the right thing, the right way, it’s one of the many reasons he became a policeman. Even in a world where people are continuing to be born, or gifted, with both amazing and terrifying powers, Richard believes that common men can still live just fine in the world.

Metahumans have been around for a long while, longer than even Dick, and the police’s effectiveness has always been in question with the presence of ‘superheroes’. And with that he’s made it his life goal to make sure the people know they can rely on the police, even with individuals like Icon flying around.

Richard is a twenty seven year old Caucasian man, his hair is short, fairly neat and naturally brown. He has an athletic build that he keeps thanks to his training, and he is also usually wearing a suit and tie as he is a detective first, and a mech pilot second.

Dick comes from a long line of policemen, each family member able to has always expressed an interest in the police force or the army, so how could Dick say no when it was his time. And for a few years he and his partner, Jennifer Lloyd, served with an intense dedication to the force, and the admiration of some of their colleagues. They both believed that a policeman’s duty is to the people, protect and serve. However, the events of D-Day would test them both, but only one emerged alive.

Others tell him it was bad luck, or a bad call made on someone else’s part, but Richard blamed himself for her death. He continued to serve through the rest of D-Day and with every event after that, but never again with the same vigor.

After so many metahuman events the people, of course, began to push the police for more protection. And with Pax Humana giving birth to so many new metahumans, the higher ups decided they needed to step up measures as well. The police were always busy with both meta and regular cases, and thanks to the humana event they found that they were quickly falling behind.

It was at this time a generous benefactor made himself known by donating a large sum of money, and pushed the idea of a new dedicated department for handling these cases. A specialized unit suited for handling special cases, and for combating criminal metas without the reliance of other metahumans.

Upon hearing of this a few self-professed super genius’s and regular genius’s alike applied to support the LHMCD, and after several intense screening sessions a few of these people were selected to help design and maintain the equipment the LHMCD would need.

Months later Dick found himself being transferred in, to replace a former member, he felt that it was a mistake; he didn’t deserve this new chance at life, a new chance to make a difference. But on that same night he received his transfer orders, he received new evidence that showed undeniable proof he was innocent, that he wasn’t responsible for his partner’s death. And even better, he believes that this new clue could help him find her real killer. This reignited the spark that fueled his old police spirit, causing him to accept his new position in the LHMCD.

They are known as the Lost Haven Metahuman Cases Department. These are their stories.

CKBLK v1.06 – Built to combat energy using metas of varying types, it surrounds it’s user with an invisible particle barrier that intercepts or diffuses incoming energy attacks. Higher level attacks may still bleed through, and physical attacks will pass through with little resistance.

Crystalline Composite Gel Layer –This synthetic gel layer alters it’s density to help absorb impact from stronger metahumans, as well as helping to regulate driver temperature.

Metahuman Specialized Foam – This foam hardens and sticks to most surfaces after being exposed to oxygen, intended to incapacitate metahumans in preparation for arrest.

Metahuman Tracker – An integrated sensor unit used to track down designated metahumans, capable of tracking targets through multiple spectrums.

Alternative Armaments – The LHMCD has access to normal police equipment along with some of their own customized equipment.

Mountable AC107 Beam Launcher – An experimental energy weapon, a condensed burst of energized particles is launched at a high level target, highly concussive.

Mountable Gatling Gun – A powerful specialized Gatling gun, can be operated by AI or driver, can also switch ammo type.

Variable Arc Launcher - A large specialized rifle, the gun sends a burst of electricity directed at the targets nervous system to induce pain and muscle contractions. Works much like a taser would just without the physical elements, different settings for power.

AI Module – Officially this AI is short for Assistive Intelligence, rather than Artificial Intelligence. Dick and the whole of the LHMCD have been told that this program is there to provide aiming assist with the faster metas, and serves to help micromanage suit systems.

Grapple Wire - A steel cable that can be launched out in order to hamper foes, or in an attempt to incapacitate suspects. Can be electrified, voltage varies.

FCPJ - Flight Capable Pursuit Jets, these jets are attached to it's backpack, and embedded into various points in it's legs. The FCPJ system allows Richard to continue pursuit even into the air, however, the RDBLK's jets aren't strong enough for a full on chase.

Weaknesses:
Outside of his suits he can be killed just as easily as anyone else, it not more so due to his job.

He can be fired and therefore lose his suits, he also has to request to use his heavier armaments.

It takes time to suit up, and if he’s on the field away from HQ he must wait for it to arrive via armored transport.

He may be the driver of the suit, but he does not know how it works. If he for some reason has to repair it he would have to rely on others.

Hey guys, as some of you may know, I've been having some issues with my internet lately. Everything seems to be ok for the time being, hoping that everything is back to normal. Working on collabs that I owe, and hope to have a little something-something up sooner rather than later

Character Personality: Darya is a sweet girl, caring and loving of all humans regardless of their faults, though she has a core of hatred for those who inflict needless suffering on their fellow humans and defenseless creatures of the world. Being raised with her grandmother, she grew up believing that magic was still real, and while she has not encountered it yet, she will be delighted to know that her grandmother was correct. She enjoys music and dancing, loves cooking, and is all in all the mother of the multitude of friends she has. Despite how exhausting this is, she would never dream of letting them down.

Her flavour of love, however, is a tough one. She is more than willing to call others out on their stupidity, though out of care for them instead of mocking. She is deeply spiritual, though not necessarily religious. The Islamic mosque she attends in her hometown is more of a way to stay social in her college career rather than a desire to attain Heaven, and she has deeply seated concerns about most religions.

Uniform/costume: She's working on one, but so far, she has not gotten a good design yet, and is relying on a ski mask and baggy clothes.

Origin Info/Details: Darya was born to a caring family who had recently fled the violence and foolishness of their home in Iran, and were making do as they could in America. They settled in New York at first, where Darya was born, but economics forced them further away, until they finally settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is where Darya and her younger brother grew up. Her father and mother were victims of racially motivated hate crimes when she was thirteen, but thankfully, her family had been steadily filtering over, and several uncles and aunts were around to help her grandmother.

Darya's grandmother always had the air of a mystic, and she raised her grandchildren on stories of the old country, of Persia, of great kings and djinn, and other fantasies. She always held that the family was descended from the Sassanid dynasty, though no proof was ever forthcoming and no one believes it any more than they do her other fairy tales. However, Darya believes at least that magic exists, and that her grandmother has seen it, and her beliefs were further driven home when she developed her powers at age nineteen.

Walking to work at her uncle Yousef's coffee bar one day, the periodic heavy rains of Albuquerque came down hard and heavy while Darya was completely unprepared. She made a mad dash down an alley, attempting to find cover, only to find to her extreme surprise that she was still completely dry, despite water pouring from the sky in buckets. She swept her arms a few times and watched in wonder as the standing water on the ground and that still falling responded to her motions as if she was in that one Nickelodeon cartoon.

She hid her newfound abilities for a few weeks, but finally, guilt and excitement drove her to tell her uncle where she was disappearing to on her breaks, and why. He was relieved, momentarily, to find she wasn't off having sex or smoking drugs, but relief swiftly turned to abject horror as he realised the implications of what had occurred. A family meeting was called, and various comments and demands were made before Darya's grandmother, matriarch and undisputed authority in the family, ordered Darya to decide for herself. Darya, being who she is, decided to balance family and duty and hero-work.

Currently, Darya serves as one of a very limited number of heroes in the southwest, most of whom belong to the United Southwestern Hero Association. They have been actively trying to recruit Tiamat, but the family, even Fatemeh, are concerned about fulltime heroing and what effects that might have on Darya's future. The Hounds attacks on other metas, however, has driven all the fear out of the whole clan; as much as anyone else, they see the same lunacy that threatens their homeland, and no member of the family would dare argue that they nee to be stopped. And so Darya has been thrust onto the world stage, hesitant but ready to do her part.

**Note**: Darya is aware of her control over water, though not about its lack of limitations, and is not aware of her control over other liquids or her ability to do much with solids and semisolids except that she has played with ice and steam. She is not at all aware of her molecular control, and is only vaguely aware of how much her body has adapted to her power.

Skills:
Darya is well versed in her native languages, Farsi and English, and passable with Middle Persian (her grandmother insisted).

She is well trained by her uncles in weapons handling for modern small arms such as pistols and shotguns, knives, and hand to hand combat forms (Krav Maga and Aikido).

She is an extremely good cook, especially with Mediterranean dishes but can turn pretty much anything that is food into amazing dishes, if a bit unorthodox.

She is good at playing doumbek, oud, qanoun, and Moroccan oboe, though none at any sort of professional level. She's also a fair turn-of-the-hips at belly dancing, even if she's a bit too skinny for it.

She has some scholarly interest in philosophy, ethics, poetry, biology, chemistry, and physics, but has not actively pursued any of these.

Weaknesses:

The obvious one is that she can only manipulate things in a liquid state, and while she can change some of those, solid objects like steel are impossible for her to convert to liquid, as they contain no water, and thus she cannot control them.

Sand, is, oddly, one of her worst weaknesses, both because of its ability to absorb water and because, whatever mysterious thing causes her powers also will severely weaken or even stop working entirely should she get more than a few hundred grains of it in contact with her skin. Currently, she has not given this knowledge to anyone.

While a bit faster and tougher than most people, Narya is proof against no bullet, blade, or even fist, and takes damage as normal.

Character Personality: He’s a man who can’t leave someone alone when they are in need, even when he lacked the use of his legs and had limited arm movement he still tried to stand up to bullies when someone called. He watched Happy Days as a child and tried to model himself after Arthur Fonzarelli or Fonzie, noting that he was worried he’d become like his drunken mother who abused him and his father always belittling him for his many failures. He’s protective of the weak, a defender who prioritizes the people over fame or money though he does make public appearances to discuss current metahuman issues. To put people at ease, he adopts a theme as a rockabilly speaking and dressing in their style, something to distract others from the troubles and to better identify how he wants to present himself as laid back and in control.

Uniform/costume: He dresses in leather jackets and jeans, and has no spandex like costume nor mask. He wants to be open and honest with a welcoming smile.



Origin Info/Details: Born of italian descent to Bianca and Dario Adams he was raised in Pacific Point and grew up rather normally until one day at the age of seven he visited his father’s work. He had been warned not to play around the docks were no place for a child but they lived close enough that he’d wander over, the accident that paralyzed him was also the fault of his father, although the report said faulty gears on the forklift Dario never forgave himself, and felt there was something anything he could do to prevent it. A fact Bianca constantly reminds him of and one she never forgave him for; slipping into alcohol under the pressure of raising a paraplegic for a son. She always felt she could have married better, a richer man.

As the tensions in the house slowly boiled over Adam hunkered down into his books, and old TV shows. He learned, and while he was bright he dedicated his young life to science, medicine and theoretical physics. Hoping that he’ll become good enough to make up for his parents mistakes, that he’ll save lives and heal the rift between them.

All through school he tried to be the good guy, the one who diffused conflict despite being wheelchair bound, all that changed in the last year of high school when domes covered cities and gave people powers. It took him a while before he could apply his powers to himself but thanks to his bookworm past he could theorize many practical applications.

Able to produce nuclear reactor levels of electricity there is little chance he will ever be drained dry he is by far the electrical user with the most potential output allowing him to defy gravity and even lift objects from the water through electromagnetism.

He can produce a barrier that deflects physical objects as long as they can be conductive even if only slightly.

Shoot lighting bolts, and reduce the speed of his falls using electromagnetism to create a negative charge upon himself and save himself from lethal falls. And even discharging electrical pulses. That are more like orbs of lighting.

He even has incredible speed, zipping over telephone wires, or water any surface with electricity he can propel himself over increasing his speed upwards towards 300mph however aim and his own body begin to feel the stress aim is gone and if he felt pain so too would his nerves. That seems a little fast, I may reduce it, or just try to avoid using those speeds.

Enhanced vision. Being able to see the electromagnetic spectrum he can discern people’s internal nerve signals, how fast a heart beats, how a person lies and sometimes see the difference between those who are unnatural aka those who are powered or not normal.

His most famous skill is a railgun, propelling an object at mach speeds, even faster than mach 7 absolutely smashing the object into the target. He charges his arms separately creating different polarities and using the length of his arm to launch the object often a disk.

Since he cannot feel pain he also is unaffected by muscle fatigue and injuries. Although he will definitely need to see a doctor if he is shot or otherwise injured.

Unknown to Hound Dog he has a minor regenerative ability, cuts and minor wounds heal within hours further complicating things as he cannot tell if he has been injured. However he could apply his powers to more serious wounds if he was aware he could accelerate his healing through electrical stimulation. Maybe even repair his nerves.

Resources:Average while he does make money from his TV appearances, he donates quite a lot he doesn’t use or save. And since he doesn’t have a car he puts all his cash to savings for his College fund.

Weaknesses: He is not immune to his own powers, not yet. While his body is adapting to the voltage he outputs, the sheer potential he possess is more than his tolerance can handle. If he’s not careful he could completely fry whatever nerves he has left and turn his body to ash. Something that he is already beginning to notice. He is also unable to aim when he travels great speeds, though he can defend against some physical objects heat and drowning or many things can kill him. His barrier is activated by will and if he’s not quick or if he’s careless bullets will kill him.

His tolerance to his powers severely limits how much he can produce, while he is still more powerful than most electro masters his ability to draw from his pool is far more harmful to himself than others as the more he pulls the more his body begins to char. He theorizes that at the current timeframe and the graphs he’s made he’s unlikely to bear his true powers for decades.

His inability to feel pain is also dangerous, infections can sprout up more easily and if he’s not checking his body often minor wounds go unnoticed even broken bones can sustain further damage
