Gankona stared at Lorken's rough features as he monologged about the goat-boy's martial potential. Gank slightly winced as the boss trailed his razor nails against his skin, drawing blood. Truly, the gesture was just more of an attack on the boy's pride. Gankona thought about choking out the words from the boss, but given the circumstances, his two hands would not be at par with the other man's one. As Lorken kicked the boy away, knocking the wind out of him, Gankona slowly stood back up in front of his opponent's massive frame once again.

Lorken's attacks were lightning fast, Gankona only being able to block the consequitive line of left jabs. The boss's strong, right hook landed square in Gankona's face, splitting his lip and sending him staggering back. "Come on, you're tougher than that.", Gank thought to himself. The goat-boy recovered rather quickly, spitting out the blood that now filled his mouth onto the floor below him. He faced Lorken with a smile, stating;

"You and me come from similar backgrounds, Lorken. I bet you were a little brash yourself when you first started your 'career'."

If the boss wanted some show of what Gankona can do, he would show him. There was no cane to take anymore; any glory now was in combat. Gankona threw a left and right hook as he lunged at Lorken, with an additional knee to the stomach for good measure. It was three attacks at once; hopefully Lorken could only block two. If all else failed, Gankona kicked himself away from his opponent in order to deny him a counterattack, launching himself straight off of the man's gut with both of his legs.

Many of the other students saw this battle as a proving moment; prove yourselves or be cast out of your last resort, your last sanctuary. But honestly, Gankona could care less. There was shelter and education here, yes, but somewhere else was Gank's old, effective life of robbing. And, truly, the goat-boy preferred the latter reality compared to the first. He knew such a life best. But there was still a reason to stay; he wanted more. He wanted the pride of succeeding in such a dirt-cheap and potentially brutal school. He wanted his abilities to double. He wanted to feel stronger and superior to others, for once. No more petty crimes; he wanted success in the larger scale. Why stay at the bottom of the food chain when you have an opportunity to claw your way up?

It was this ambition in power that steered and invoked Gankona; it was his drive. It was an almost sudden drive, yes, but it was incredible at overtaking the boy's senses. a spontaneous ambition, but not a fleeting one. It was almost like an instinct; seek out and become more, take what you want. Steal the pride.

Thus, the goat-boy dived into another attack, jumping towards his opponent with dangerous intent. He threw two punches with both his hands at Lorken's bulky head. Yet, whatever blocked his attack, would be grabbed swiftly. With great force, Gankona would bring his horns to meet Lorken's head, slamming a strong headbutt into the man before continuing his trajectory and throwing his body weight into his opponent. If the giant fell, Gankona would have ample time to land on his feet and curb-stomp the devil.

Brash men, of course, use brash tactics.

Okay, the last week had been quite rough, to say the least. While Nori's mother managed to get herself a better job and thus, fix their troublesome financial status enough that Nori could finally quit her own and focus on studies, Nori didn't want to leave her mother and her younger brothers behind like that. It felt like she was ditching her own family for her own sake. It took a lot of convincing from her mother for Nori to finally understand that she had to try at least once more. Unfortunately, the only option left was the lowest of the low schools. It was shameful, but Nori felt positive about it, in a way. At least it was an opportunity.. And this one, she couldn't miss.

Thus, Nori had made her way to the spot where she'd take the ride to the school. She did saw some faces gathering there, but she remained quiet to herself, rather isolated - she was avoiding interaction, something very unlike her. The thing is, Nori's quirk isn't something she's particularly proud of. It's lacking, weak and not exactly hero material. Those who were going with her, had very high chances of having quirks better suited for a hero class, despite the fact that they were all losers in every sense of the word.

The truck arrived and the first thought that crossed Nori's mind, was that she might've been fooled or actually came to the wrong place. Indeed it had LOSER written on it's sides, but... Well. Nori had no other option other than take it. Everyone did, after all. Upon entering it, the sight of a man with an impressive long beard caught her attention. Was that his quirk? It certainly looked stronger than Nori's own quirk. She made her way quietly to the back of the truck, making sure to pick an empty portion where other students wouldn't really have any access to her, yet. So there, the ghost of a hero-to-be allowed her eyes to flutter closed as she began trying to imagine what the academy could be like.

The bumpy ride wasn't all that long. The truck eventually stopped - the driver loudly announced them to get down and state their names and as soon as Nori came out, it hastily made the way back. She cast a curious glance behind, but her attention soon focused on the devil of a man who was apparently waiting for them. He was smoking? He was. There were some students smoking, too. Strange... Nori's positive was slowly fading away.

As she followed the rest inside the house, things weren't so bad as she expected - it was rather... impressive, better than her place by a large margin for sure. It was also large and extremely comfortable. Nori had just regained some of her positive thoughts - until the sight of a paper with the man they were following being arrested. What?

She scratched the back of her head. Now that was pretty strange - what he said, too. So, some of the students had meddled with criminal matters? She suspiciously narrowed her eyes, but didn't look at any of them at all. Nori wasn't going to buy herself some problem.

And then, it was time for her to step in the gym - which she hastily did, although pretty nervous and unsure of herself. Her ability didn't resolve around combat, at all.

"R-Right, I'm Nori Kurosawa."

Given Lorken's instructions regarding Mizumi's phone, it was clear that she wasn't going to get what she wanted. In all honesty, Mizumi had already considered such a possibility, but was just hoping that she'd be able to avoid it.

"Well, fuck me."

With a deep sigh, she approached Lorken and hesitantly reached out towards his extended hand. It took a few seconds before Mizumi could completely let go, but she eventually handed over her phone. Her attempt at weaseling her way out of Lorken's test wasn't going all too well. What gave it away? Well, a handgun was pulled out and those things usually meant something bad was going to happen. At least, most of the time.

Mizumi was immediately filled with shock as her eyes widened in surprise. Instinctively, she winced and haphazardly raised both her arms in an attempt to protect herself. "What the fuck Izu?! That's not gonna help you!"

The sound of a gunshot echoed throughout the gymnasium, and Mizumi just expected the worse. However, instead of a deep, searing pain - which what she assumed a bullet digging through one's flesh would feel like - she was doused with a shower of water. "Huh?" Looking up, Mizumi noticed the sprinkler over her that had just gone off.

"...oh, that's what he was aiming for." Her expression turned flat as she faced Lorken. She realized how embarrassing and stupid she must've have looked. "Of course he wouldn't shoot a student." Mizumi said to herself as she gently hit herself on the temple with a closed fist.

"I trust you have no more complaints. Absorb as much as you are comfortable with and when you are ready, Ms. Atsumeru."

Another long sigh escaped her mouth as she stared at the droplets of water than came crashing towards her body. It was flashback time.

It was a quiet summer afternoon and the heat had made Mizumi, who was three years-old at the time, a bit restless. Wanting to cool her down, both her parents, decided to give her a bath. Filling the tub halfway through, Mizumi was slowly dipped into the lukewarm water. It took them some time to realize, but given the almost empty bathtub and their daughter who had grown just over a feet in size, Mizumi's quirk had finally appeared. After a good cuddle, Mizumi's father managed to squeeze everyone ounce of water out of her.

It was a joyous day for the retired couple, but for their daughter, it just marked the her introduction to the super-powered world.

Mizumi disliked her quirk; it was a hassle of an ability and it significantly influenced how she lived her life. Aside from how much her physique changes when exposed to an ample amount of water, showers and baths had turned into daily struggles. Whether it was with family or friends, trips to the beach, local pool, or water parks were never occasions she could truly enjoy at all; And during the rainy seasons, Mizumi had no choice but to stay in doors. Eventually, due to how troublesome her quirk was to deal with, Mizumi decided to just live life as simple as she could, away from her peers and isolated within the confines of her room; it was much easier that way. Unfortunately, this way of living far from being acceptable for the only child of two retired heroes. Mizumi had little to no choice but to look for another approach on how to handle her ability. For now, following in the footsteps of her parents was her only option. It was either that or a life in the countryside, so she just had to give it a shot.

Probably just under a minute had passed since the sprinkler went off with Mizumi idly taking on as much water as she could. Her body gradually grew larger and bulkier as more water was being absorbed. Approximately, her body had taken in around twenty gallons of water. Mizumi now appeared extremely tall and muscular, standing somewhere around seven feet in height and weighing close to three hundred pounds. Mizumi couldn't help but take a look at the changes that her body had underwent; she couldn't remember the last time she took in this much water.

Her pants appeared worn out and torn, the hems now located just below her knees. Her hoodie had stretched out, with one sleeve ripped and the other falling off. Her feet were now too large for both her shoes and socks, both ended up in tatters and completely unusable.

Mizumi was incredibly disappointed with what had happened to her clothes, but knew that there was nothing she could do about it anymore. Her shoulders dropped and arms dangled downwards for a moment as she simply let out a sigh. "This was my favorite." Mizumi whispered to herself as she took one last look at her destroyed hoodie.

Turning her gaze towards Lorken, who was quietly just staring at her, Mizumi decided to give him what he was asking for. She was in no way a fighter and had little experience when it came to actual physical confrontations. But given her massive physique, Mizumi felt a bit more confident in her capabilities. The first few steps that she took seemed unstable, but as she picked up the pace, she easily adjusted to her new body.

Because of how heavy she was, each of her steps created loud thumps as she quickly charged towards Lorken. Shoulder first and without the slightest hint of uncertainty, Mizumi was hoping to give Lorken a tackle that he wouldn't forget.

The problem with Kaz's plan and the outcome he no doubt was hoping for all himged on whether or not his opponent could react, counter, or negate any of the actions Kaz had taken. From the cardigans roll as a distraction all the way up to the clumsy footwork, Lorken could see it all for what they were.

When the boy went into the slide beneath his legs, lorken grabbed the cardigan out of the air with a sigh and kicked with his right leg. A weak blow but again catching Kaz on the chin during his slide across the floor. Lorken promptly dropped the discarded article of clothing onto the boy.

There was no need to say anything. Kaz has seen the same look on every face hr ever met. Dissapointment.
Lorken stood calmly, waiting for the boy to try again.

--------

@Mercurial

"There is no need."

Dahn could launch his projectile accurately and with a respectable amount of speed behind it, but the moves thus far were highly telegraphed. Not exactly as he expected, Dahn launched the harpoon and swung the chain, but the speed of his arm and the speed of the harpoon didnt match, as a result it was almost completely ineffective. Lorken raised his cane and swatted the projectile hard, robbing the attack of a great deal of force.
What followed next might be taken as insanity. The cane dropped as it robbed the harpoon of its force and lorken crapped it instead. In one clesn motion he had stopped it, grabbed it, and thrown it back.

-------------

@Duoya

Good. Use your head.

Lorken didn't need to hear someones thoughts to know what was about to happen. Karada was smart, a talented young lad with the right amount of drive needed to claw his way from the brink of oblivion time and time again without quitting. Circumstances different Lorken believed the boy could have been a hero already.
But that didn't mean anything if Karada could not overcome a quirkless combatant like Lorken up close.
The bite was expected, how could it not have been? But the headbutt was a surprise. It was only a bit of luck that had Lorken looking down in contemplation. If he had subconsciously positioned himself in a superior sneering stance he would have taken the full force of the headbutt right in the nose instead of just his forehead. His hat falling off in the process.

Disoriented but not beaten Lorken twisted where he stood, his hurt right hand took Karada by the throat as Lorkens right leg swept behind the boy. The elbow to the chest hurt but it served the purpose of breaking the quirk defense.
With a grunt of pain he forced the boy back and down. Down hard into the concrete. His right hand already trying to get a firm grasp on the boys neck as he was forced to go to one knee in order to maintain the chokehold.

Do not give up! Fight boy, fight against thr injustice. his thoughts screamed out.

-----------

@Kuma

"A sword serves its own purpose. Find what works for you."

With the weaponry gone, Yuri manipulated his bones to replicate a type of boxing glove of some sort. It was thick on the wrist and Lorken assumed thin on the fingers. The sharp spikes sticking out made the fight more annoying but not one he had not been prepared for. Holstering the pistol, Lorken took out the teo knives on his back. While not sharp enough to cut bone with ease, the d guard was strong enough to serve as brass knuckles. The blades were enoigh reach to negate the spikes entirely.

Unlike the other matches, he took the fight to Yuri now. A running double thrust at the boys chest, the blow would stop short before Lorken flipped the blades upside down. Angled to the floor now he used them the same way a boxer would fight with gloves, tight punches and jabs crashing out like thunderbolts. Even with the bone protection his strikes were hard enough to numb the boys arm if he tried to focus on blocking.
On a right hook, Lorken flipped the blade again and for a thrust instead of a jab. His pattern of attack alternatedat random between a brawlers technique into swordplay.

-------

@GodOfWar

Lorken met Gankonas ferocity with equal parts mastery. Where Gank fought with gierce power Lorken fought with the advantage of time and practice. Both strikes of Ganks fists met nothing but open palm, even throwing out a kick that stopped the attempted knee strike in its infancy. Rather than be used as a springboard, Lorken crouched and crossed his arms. Both feet connected solidly with his upper body to no effect.

He wouldn't allow it to be seen on his face for even a second but Lorken was pleased. Gank had the stubborn tenacity of a cornered lion roaring in his heart.

But the boy needed more practice. Martial arts taught you to steal energy from an opponents attacks and use it against them. Gankona energy and power to spare. Ganks leaping attack crossed the distance in an instant.
Lorken stelled into the attack and grabbed the boys wrists right as they struck out and spun hard. Up and over went Gank as Lorken used the force of the boys strong leap to propel Gank hard into the wall across the room.

------

@Project

Like the others, Lorken looked the girl up and down as if she was a sack of meat. The initial testing if the other students had been taxing but Lorken was still in high enough spirits that he believed one more bout with an uo and coming hero would not be what out him in the grave. If anything could it was probably be Mizumi.

Tossing aside that thought process he took out the worn out leather bound notepad he keot on him at all times. Leafing through a few pages he quickly processed the specifics of Noris quirk along with whatever information he could gather elsewhere.

"Hard working. High spirited.. a gravity based quirk?"

The notebad closed without a sound before it was placed back in his coat pocket. Like some of the others this girl was not designed for combat no matter how you looked at her.

"You are ill suited to my way of teaching. Your quirk has no practical combat use, nor does it provide any kind of defense against other more aggressive villains..."

Lorken stroked his goatee in thought. The best way to test her would be in a physical bout but if the others provided a clear picture of expectation, she would survive in up close combat for a few minutes before succumbing to a takedown.
None of those options appealed to him in terms of practical application of ability and physicsl exercises. But there was not much else to be done.

"Why do you wish to be here, miss Kurosawa"

--------

@Prewiga

If Lorken had been impressed with the others, besided maybe Kaz, he was wide eyed at the sudden growth displayed by Mizumi. It was like an entirely different person. A smile crept onto his face despite trying not to show it.
This person could be molded.

Like the others, Lorken made no move to stop the approaching threat. He could have jumped to the side, tripped her, kicked out her knee, hell he could have punched her in the throat, but that would not prove what he needed to know.
How strong was her transformation..
The resulting impact was more than he expected and more. Like a runaway trainshe struck hard enough to take Lorken right off his feet and throw him nearly a dozen feet across the room. Shaking his head free of cobwebs, Lorken was slow to get back to his feet.

In terms of brute force she might be on par with Gankona..

"Miss," a spasm of coughing took his voice for a moment before he continued, Miss Atsumeru. Your transformation is astounding. Compared to your appearance earlier, how you are now," Leaving out the obvious clothing malfunction, "Is what some would call an ideal transformation. The you here and now remind me of an old folk legend about amazonian women. Tall and powerful warrior women."

Lorken wiped off a bit of blood from his lip but kept his intrigued smile.

"Let us continue. We will see if you are indeed capable of such a feat."

Lorken was on the defensive. Another hit like that and he was done for.

"'... within a matter of minutes?' Ending it with a threat. Yeah, that's good. No... I'm sure he knows enough about the human anatomy that he'll see right through my bluff. Ehh, a stab wound to the leg will be good enou-" Of course, all of this planning doesn't mean squat when it culminates into getting kicked in the damn face by a behemoth of a man. The plan failed. But of course it did. Could anyone really expect the last-second plan to have a positive outcome? Even Kaz, pumped up on adrenaline and false hope as he was, had his doubts about the plan succeeding. It was one that required a mixture of pure miraculous luck and the athletic ability above that of being able to open a difficult jar of peanut butter, none of which Kaz seems to possess. After promptly handing Kaz his ass for the second time this match, Lorken adds insult to injury by tossing Kaz's cardigan on top of him.

After pulling the tattered article of clothing off of himself, Kaz looks up at Lorken and notices a set of familiar eyes. Yeah... that look. He knows that look all too well. A normal person would have some kind of adverse reaction to such a look, even a small one, but Kaz responds with a completely neutral expression. "Yeah, yeah, what else is new?" Kaz gets back up onto his feet. "If only my Quirk was that I get stronger every time someone's disappointed with me, then I'd be unbeatable." He holds out his fist towards Lorken; his knuckles are noticeably bruised. "Heh... That punch that was supposed to hurt you, hurt me instead. I don't think I can do anything to you." There is a calm acceptance in Kaz's expression; one that recognizes the cold, stark reality of the situation. It'd be pointless to continue this fruitless struggle any further.

"He truly is my perfect counter... More physically able than I am in every way imaginable, his combat experience far exceeds my own, and let's not forget that my Quirk is absolutely useless against him. There is no way to beat him. But... this is what I expected from the very beginning. I'm getting tired, so I guess I'll call it quits." Kaz goes to raise his hand and to tell Lorken that he forfeitsβ€”not only the match but the entire program. But as he does so, he notices his hand trembling. "..." Is this fear...? Is this excitement? Joy? Rush? Kaz's knows the outcome of this fight and yet... "This is bad," Kaz begins sweating profusely and his upper lip starts twitching, "I'm starting to give a shit." He balls his trembling hand into a tight fist once more. "If at first you don't succeed, fail, fail again until the other side loses interest. Hey, Tall, Dark, and Hideous, let's go."

Kaz charges forward. "I know I can't hurt you..." Kaz throws a straight left at Lorken's abdomen. Another weak punch. He is beaten down once more. Kaz wipes the blood from his mouth and gets back up. This time: a right hook is followed by a horizontal knife slash with his left. The knife is easily knocked out of Kaz's hand as Kaz, himself, is beaten down again with little effort. "You don't even need to evade my pathetic attacks." What follows is a repeating succession of Kaz attempting to hurt Lorken with his punches with Lorken being able to simply shrug them off and punish Kaz's sloppy techniques. "And that is..." The last attempt ends with Kaz being punched into a kneeling position with his body slumped forward.

"Heh, you know... I often ask myself what would All Might do in a hopeless situation like this? Then again, I'm sure he doesn't have 'hopeless' situations. He's not a loser like me." Kaz slowly rises up onto his feet. As he gets up, an object can be seen in his grip. The object in question should be a very familiar sight to Lorken. "I know I can't hurt. You don't even need to evade my pathetic attacks. And that is exactly what I was counting on." Kaz aims Lorken's gun at it's own master. "I'd hate to play the part of his punching bag but it was the only way I could get to 'this' without arousing his suspicion. He knows he can just stand still whenever I threw a punch at him so I decided to use that to my advantage. Even if he noticed at the last second, once I got my hands on it, I was resolved to not let go barring him ripping my arm off." Without any hesitation, Kaz pulls the trigger. Bang! A volley of bullets is let loose towards Lorken. Truthfully, Kaz doesn't even know if those are actual metal rounds or a non-lethal substitute. "Ehh, whatever."

The smell of blood flooded Karada's nose as he bit into Lorken's hand, the metallic taste of the crimson liquid filling his mouth. He had bit deep, even feeling bone slightly, and the pain in the back of his head told him that he had made contact with Lorken's forehead. The elbow managed to embed itself slightly in the chest wound, but the hand that was firmly in between his teeth pulled outwards, nearly taking a tooth with it, and leaving a large cut across it. In the split second it took to remove the hand, Karada took a large gasp of air, savoring the sweet taste of oxygen before the same hand violently clutched his throat. Karada heard a grunt emanate from behind him as he was pushed onto the ground, slamming his chin against the hard concrete. Stars flew in his view and, had it not been for his training, he would have had the breath knocked out of him.

The hand never left his throat as he was on the ground, however, and Karada quickly deduced that Lorken had to be kneeling in order to chock him. Kneeling. Karada would have chuckled if he could force air out of his blocked windpipe, but merely settled for a sneer. After years of kneeling to his family, kneeling to his father, kneeling to anyone who was higher rank than him, Karada finally had someone kneeling for him. This jolt of excitement jump started his dazed brain, and he quickly formulated a plan. Lorken could obviously take a heavy beating with little reaction, and Karada could feel his claws digging into his throat. One wrong move and he would have his throat slit. Karada quickly went over his options.

Karada was physically fit, but Lorken was years ahead of him in that regard, so physically breaking his grapple was impossible. He was kneeling down, so if he suddenly rose to try and knock Lorken off his balance, it wouldn't accomplish much. Another headbutt? No, he was too far away, and would be expecting it. Karada soon began to silently panic. Karada blinked his eyes, and he was 12.

Karada had just come home from school, after being sent home early for starting a fight. It wasn't Karada's fault, or at least he didn't think it was. Nakai-kun lived in a poor household, and since he had a strength enhancing quirk, probably thought that it would be pretty easy to take the rich kid's lunch money. After accidentally breaking his arm against Karada's stomach, Nakai was rushed to the hospital, and Karada was sent home with a suspension. His father was, to say the least, not pleased. No dinner was had that night and, after several fists to the stomach and back, Karada was sent to bed. In the middle of the night, he felt a presence near him and a tight pressure around his neck, in a position much like the one he was currently in with Lorken. Karada panicked and, after flailing for several seconds, felt a soft sensation against his foot as the assailant yelped in pain. Calling for his parents, Karada was quickly rescued from the intruder, who was later identified as Nakai's older brother who had decided to get revenge for his injured sibling. He was arrested for breaking-and-entering, assault, and (thanks to his father's lawyers) attempted murder. He was arrested, and Nakai's family quickly left the country in order to escape the Fudosan family legal team.

It had already been 30 seconds, and he had nothing. Suddenly, however, a sneer appeared on his face as his only option presented itself.

Karada immediately threw his elbow back, aiming for Lorken's chest. However, as he did this, he also subtly pulled back his leg, before pushing with every fiber in his body and aiming his foot into Lorken's crotch. Karada didn't care if this guy was able to take a wound to the chest, a kick to the balls was sure to distract him. After the kick, Karada planned to push off the ground into a standing position and pull Lorken's hand off, before throwing a right hook into his throat, and seeing how he would like the feeling of not being able to breath.

As the harpoon came back towards him, Danh simply reeled it back in silently; it didn't matter what state it was in, once he started reeling it in, it was essentially back under his control. But now, Danh was starting to get a little ticked off. Lorken was barely testing him, and was either letting his hits connect to test them or swatting them away like they were nothing. He almost felt disrespected; he had trained like all hell to get ready for the UA entrance exam, only for this asshole to make it seem like he'd done it all for nothing. Of course, it was all for nothing, seeing as he was forced to attend this school for losers rather than the real deal, but now he was being treated like he couldn't even face up to the loser entrance exam. It felt like somebody, somewhere, was denying him all his hard work.

With a newly found ire, Danh brought out his rightmost harpoon and tied it at half length around his right hand, with the end with the harpoon head attached in his left. He had effectively created a whip-like weapon out of this arrangement. Now he advanced on Lorken, intent on swinging at him with all the force he had. He was going to maintain an offensive on Lorken with all the strength he had built up for the real exam until either Lorken cracked or gave him an opening for a more refined attack.

None of Gankona's blows were bringing the pay-off the goat-boy had expected. He threw his knee harder than any of his other strikes, the body-part slamming into Lorken's leg with a loud whump. Honestly, it was like kicking a concrete wall, and Gank was surprised the old geezer could take that much of a hit nearly straight on. Well, there always was the back-up plan. Bringing both of his knees up to his chest, the true ram kicked with great force as he tried with his best effort to rocket away from his imminent opponent. The result; failure. All momentum and proper effect transferred itself into Lorken's chest and arms, nullifying Gankona's acrobatic maneuver entirely. The satyr fell flat onto the ground in front of Lorken, quickly picking himself up and scuttling away before any advancement could be made on his vulnerable position. Fine, third times the charm.

And up went Gank, flying through the air with stunning speed. Lorken launched the boy with nearly no effort on his part; just skill. But now was not the time to reflect on mistakes committed, now was the time to prepare for impact. The six-foot combatant flew towards the wall on the opposite side of the gym with no sign of stopping, his body a full seven feet above the ground and barreling through the air like a launched missile. Now, all he could do was take the hit. He had no time for any other response. Curling his body into the smallest ball he could, Gankona turned his back towards the metal wall as he approached, his head pointed down towards the ground.

SMACK!!! "Shit!"

The sound was loud and disorienting; the actual force was 10x as bad. Gankona's body unraveled itself from it's fetal position as the goat-boy made direct contact, his arms and legs stretching outwards and distributing the shock among his whole body. The wind left Gank's lungs almost immediately, leaving the boy breathless as his body slopped off of the wall and onto the ground, his head smashing into the ground while the rest of his gravity-weighted body followed. Gank had expected to always be able to take Lorken's trained punches and kicks, but never thought of taking his own. So there he was momentarily, breathless and battered due to his own power. Instinctively, Gank picked himself off of the bloodied ground, stretching his back as the soreness of bruising spread its thick tendrils across it. But, as always, Gank knew to get back into the thick of it as fast as possible.

A second to catch his breath, and then Gank started lunging. From across the gym the goat-boy sprinted himself towards the steadied Lorken, propelling himself towards the suited devil while keeping his body close to the ground. The sight was frighteningly akin to that of a low-shot torpedo. Lorken had hopefully two, perhaps three, options to deal with a more skillfully launched Gank; Dodge, grapple, or take the hit. If the boss dodged out of the way of Gankona's attack, it was merely merrier for the true ram. Being so close to the ground, Gankona could put his feet to the ground, apply friction, swivel, and launch another missile at Lorken from a different angle. If he made contact, mission complete; he would think about the applications of his fury there later. If Grappled, as said; pain to be bestowed, pain to be received.

The worst case-scenario, however, was Gankona being launched overhead once again; for this, the goat-boy had only corralled a few fractions of a thought to produce a solution. 'Hell, I might as well launch myself back off of the gym wall', the true ram thought. Gank would be ready, and more acrobatic, if Lorken tried the same trick this time around.

Without a sliver of a uncertainty, Mizumi charged towards the massive goat-man with all her might, and to her surprise, actually hit her mark. A few ounces of water escaped her body due to the impact of their bodies colliding, but the loss wasn't anything significant. Lorken was tossed into the air, right off his feet, and thrown nearly a dozen feet across the room.

"Miss," A spasm of coughing took Lorken's voice for a moment before he continued, "Miss Atsumeru. Your transformation is astounding. Compared to your appearance earlier, how you are now is what some would call an ideal transformation. The you here and now remind me of an old folk legend about amazonian women. Tall and powerful warrior women."

Lorken wiped off a bit of blood from his lip but kept his intrigued smile.

The words of praise directed towards Mizumi weren't well receieved by the young girl. She got the jist of it, but sadly was far too busy panting and trying to catch her breath. Her body did appear massive and strong, but offered little improvement when it came to her her stamina.

"Let us continue. We will see if you are indeed capable of such a feat."

"What?! Is he fucking seriuos?!" Mizumi was filled with genuine dismay and disbelief, and this was apparent given the expression that on her face. She had hoped to end the test with that one blow, but unfortunately, her so-called mentor was toughter than she gave him credit for.

Mizumi's took in deep breaths before locking her gaze towards Lorken who was on the defensive.
"Whatever then! She thought to herself as she began another charge towards Lorken. Like before, each step seemed like some sort of stomp due to the loud sound and mild tremors it produced. Mizumi knew that she got lucky the first time and doubted that things would just turn out the same way. She had to mix things up, but she wasn't really sure how.

With no real fighting experience, she had no choice but to make use of something she was more knowledagble in. That's when she realized something. Mizumi's eyes widened as if having some sort of grandiose idea. Mizumi's charge slowed down as she got closer to Lorken. Her arms had spread out with both her hands wide open. Instead of a tackle, Mizumi was aiming for a grapple. A bearhug to be exact. If brute force didn't work out initially, then another application of it might lead to more favorable results. The idea was flawed, but Mizumi was her to learn, so oh well.

"A sword serves its own purpose. Find what works for you." What Lorken said rang true with Yuri, as he starts rolls his neck around and then looks at Lorken as he starts comes towards him until they are only a few feet apart. Yuri then acts by slashing at Lorken, who dodges and weaves as if he was a boxer himself. As he and Yuri tangle, he pulls out his knives as makeshift brass knuckles. "Wow, way to be the villain using those as fist weapons.", he quips before he cracks his neck. Deep in the back of his mind, he used his time for a quip to formulate a way to counter what Lorken was going to do. He knows he has him beat on speed, but he's also sure that Lorken has him beat solely because he's BIG and a more experienced fighter than him. He tries to decide if he was going to use cheap tactics or not to turn the battle to his favor, but it was too late; Lorken was already bringing the fight to him.

As Lorken did his double fist thrust at his chest, Yuri quickly sidestepped and returned with a few successful jabs to Lorken's right side before hopping back. He then sees Lorken going on the offensive, jabbing and boxing at him with the power and finesse of that of a boxer in a mafia suit. He blocks one punch and sees that it would indeed be a challenge for him to tank the blows, his feet skidding to the side before he returns his attention to the big man himself. He soon gets into a boxing position and starts dodging and weaving, blocking only when necessary. He weaves one punch and gets in a few good shots on his legs before backing up and then being hit in the face by Lorken, sending him flying before he ends up back on his feet. A small drip of blood comes out of Yuri's mouth before he wipes it off, soon rolling his arms before getting into a fighting position.

From his fight, what's more apparent to Yuri is that Lorken was not going to pull punches just because he was a student. One punch from him already had him bleeding at the mouth and left his vision a bit hazy before it finally cleared up. He has to show a resolve of some sort, right? He then spits at the ground before running towards Lorken, his blows blocked and dodged by Lorken before eventually Lorken throws a right hook--- no, it was a thrust. Yuri quickly sidestepped out of the big man's way, soon giving himself enough distance. The hulking beast of a principal begins his assault on Yuri, at random intervals alternating between swordplay and boxing. Yuri tries the best he can to dodge, weave and block, but he does end up having his shirt sliced at, a punch directly in the jugular before having a jab delivered at his face, causing him to skid across the ground and then roll a good distance away from Lorken. He coughs a bit as he gets up, blood on the ground as he soon gets back up on his feet... He's resilient more than anything.

Shit... he's fighting so randomly that I can't keep up. I need to figure out what I'm going to do. Yuri thinks this to himself before Lorken soon comes at him again, but this time, Yuri shortens his claws and distributing the amount of bone equally in his forearms and fists in the nick of time, soon dodging once more before attempting to deliver an uppercut.

Lorken took no pleasure in these fights of his, they offered him nothing beyond understanding of what a wanna-be hero could do and how far they were willing to go to achieve those lofty goals. Every strike that was pulled meant he pitied their beliefs and aspirations, believed they were not strong enough to withstand the reality of just how hard they would need to work to reach the heights required to achieve the title of Hero.
So he fought. His own flesh and blood against every student who walked in this door, no matter what quirk they had, what background they came from, or what personal fears they suffered from. Lorken would bring them beyond the breaking point every single time with his own hands and see which ones chose to rise against oblivion.

That was a quality every hero needed to fight against the atrocities he had done when the underworld knew his name.

Another balled fist put Kaz down to the ground in a heap. Lost in his own thoughts it had been a simple slip of awareness.

"I know I can't hurt. You don't even need to evade my pathetic attacks. And that is exactly what I was counting on." Kaz aims Lorken's gun at it's own master.

WHEN DID HE-

Lorkens hand reflexively went for the holster but met only air. Not that he doubted the gun pointed at him could be any but his own. Even if it were somehow, some way, a replica of his own pistol it would not have been so clean..

Both hands went up and crossed over his face to block what was coming. Six shots to be precise. The hammer struck and the bullets flew straight but poorly aimed, though at this range that meant nothing. Three struck him hard in the stomach, one missing its target by mere inches, the last two hit his hand and forehead with enough force to knock him back and onto his back.
A painful exchange from a strong handgun.

It took many moments for the principal to bring himself out of the daze, a gunshot to the head even with rubber bullets could be fatal if it had hit a temple but luck was with him this time as it struck near the horns where the bone was a bit thicker. One of the few benefits of his mutation quirk.
When at last Lorken had reclaimed his feet and shook off the haze from his mind, he charged. This would be the end he had decided.

Lorken let fly a strong right hook that missed its target, lunging out to connect with his elbow directly into the boys forehead to stagger and disorient. Left fist struck the stomach, the right retracted and did the same. A left hook took Kaz in the face and dropped him for good to the floor.
Out of breathe and still a tad bit dizzy, Lorken took a seat on the floor.

To be beaten and still fight on would determine a passing grade.

------------

@Duoya

Lorkens initial response to the trade was stubborn acceptance. This was a fight where your life should be put on the line so taking a wound in exchange for a stronger advantage was a necessary evil. It served a double purpose of showing what determination looked like. Of course it hurt like all the hells imaginable as he felt teeth rub the bone of his hand but that was not enough to make him buckle.
Karada needed to struggle, Lorken needed to see him flounder and still fight on. No number of tools at his disposal would prove anything other than the horned teacher needed to rely on gimmicks to achieve his point and that left a bad taste in his mouth.

Karada tensed up for a brief moment and he knew this was it. Sink or swim time. The elbow came back aimed at his chest and this time he fell for it, thinking the young man was just trying to repeat a previous gimmick now that he was out of options.
The foot connected solidly with his groin and stars flew in front of his eyes as he bit down hard on his own arm to stifle a scream of pain and fury. Couple with the pain already in his hand it was enough to free his iron grip just long enough for Karada to go on the offense.
Fist struck throat hard as Lorken failed to bring his focus on the here and now quick enough to realize his opponent had forced his way off the ground and flipped the scenario.
Now it was Lorken who gasped for air as his ability to breathe became an issue.

Despite the many irritating and distracting wounds his mind continued to analyze the fight and everything that was done. Karada was level headed, already in prime physical condition, and was more than willing to fight dirty to secure his right to walk forward.
A passing grade to be sure.
choking back a cough he lashed out. The boy was still in movement so his quirk would be down, that meant a brief window of opportunity.
His right hand, bleeding from where the teeth had sunk deep into the flesh, struck at Karadas thigh. The sharp claws on his hand digging in the same way the young mans teeth had moments ago. Lorkens left hand grasped the back of the boys long hair and pushed with every ounce of power he could muster to slam their foreheads together before pulling back and slamming them together one more time for good measure.

the two fell to the floor opposite each other as the horned man gasped for air, massaging his neck.

"Karada Fudosan, pass." He wheezed out, a fierce grin across his face. This one had the passion and fury of a cornered lion. No doubts remained that it was simply misfortune that had brought him here.

------------

@Mercurial

No sense trying to learn any more than I already do at this point in time. Best to put him on defensive..

A solid plan but not one Dahn apparently agreed with as the boy wrapped his chain about the right hand to be used like a whip Lorken assumed and went right into it a moment later, a strong swipe that could not be dodged in a way that would secure him any kind of advantage or position.
That only left the option of backing off. The harpoon was sharp and light but with the opponent expecting it they could usually anticipate where it was going to be. With two potential threats from Dahns quirk harpoons there was little time to anticipate both.
That left even less options.

Clever. With one hand creating distance with the whip my options are to stay ineffective at my own range, or risk getting past the whip and up close where the second harpoon can be fired when I have less time to react.

Lorkens hand twitched as he went to pull out his handgun but quickly denied the idea. There would be time later to test Dahns ability to deal with long range threats so that left him with using a different tactic. The cane was out, so was the gun, so that only left the knives and his final trick. Though truth be told he would rather not.
Still staring with a blank and almost bored expression he reached back and retrieved the knives strapped on his back.
The guards might not be of much use against a traditional projectile but against harpoons it at least gave him the option of deflecting.

The whip came in again and he was ready. The blade of the harpoon swept by and Lorken took the chance as it passed, jumping into close quarters with Dahn. Both blades were held firmly in each hand as he went into a fairly straight forward routine of attacks. Multiple slashes aimed at the boys wrists and strong stabs aimed at the shoulder.
The aim wasn't really to inflict damage but force the boy into a more imposing offense somehow.

--------------

@GodOfWar

Another full out attack. Fury was admirable, determination was essential, but a lack of creativity when faced against a superior foe was a waste of his time. Head down like a torpedo with the same all out reckless charge as before.. or was it? You didn't survive long on the streets if you couldn't adapt. Gank had to know Lorken would just throw him away again..

So it's a grapple match?

The ghost of a smile crept up on his face. Lorken wanted to see how far Gank was willing to push himself in a physical confrontation. Would he be able to win out against someone who was more experienced at stealing someone elses strength in a close quarters match or would he surpass his own inexperience and carve out a win.

Lorken caught the ram head on as they collided. Clawed hands firmly on the boys shoulders had robbed forward momentum and put them into a simple stand-off of power versus power. For now Lorken intended to simply let Gank take the lead until he tried to pull Lorken away or stubbornly force him into a wall.

---------------

@Prewiga

Another charge was to be expected of someone unfamiliar, or overly familiar, with their physical strength compared to their opponent. Gankona had displayed similar qualities but had the prowess to sustain combat in many different ways for extended periods of time. Despite the powerful body, Lorken doubted she could do the same thing if she did not use her quirk often.

Strong body, but perhaps poor cardio. Hopefully my body can keep up just a little while longer too.

Karada, Dahn, Gankona, even Kazuto in his own way, had inflicted more than a little damage to Lorkens otherwise sturdy frame. Bloodied bandages wrapped his right hand, some more had been hastily wrapped over the wound to his shoulder.. But this was his own punishment for a life spent hurting others.
Every injury he sustained was justice for one he had inflicted. Every student that rose above the gutters was one saved from serving another like Lorken from back in the day.

Lorken went in with his arms extended the same way Mizumi was and went willingly into the grapple. At first..
When the girls arms swung shut to get hold of her opponent he crouched. Unfamiliar with her huge form and overbalanced from a running grapple she was likely not very sturdy on her feet so that was where he was aiming.
With a grunt of exertion he powered forward from his crouched position and right into Mizumis knees.
The result would be a painful collision with the floor if she didn't correct her forward momentum.
That wasn't the end of it though, not by a longshot.
With Mizumi unsteady and falling he turned on his heel and leaped back at her. His clawed hand aiming for her throat.

----------

@Kuma

The two traded blows on relatively even terms, Lorken keeping the pressure up without relenting as his style of attack shifted between punches to stabs with the knife. To Yuris credit he was keeping up with the speed of the strikes while offering solid resistance, even managing to throw his own counter in when the opportunity presented itself.
Lorken used that same strategy to greater effect when the opportunity presented itself.

Yuris uppercut met air as the horned man too his moment. Abandoning his right hand knife, he grabbed Yuris arm as it soared up to hopefully hit its target. Lorken grabbed Yrui by the wrist and pulled the target off course with enough strength to stumble the boy before the attack hit home.
Strong bones but perhaps joints were still sensitive.
The metal guard of Lorkens left-handed knife struck the elbow from below with everything he could put into the blow. A strike meant to break the boys arm at the elbow.

Rikka

7am, rikka was early to rise with her first time on her new school today. Still in her pyjamas she stretched out her wings and gave a normal loud yawn like any other person on the world would. Rikka wasn't all that big of a morning person but she had to get it over with anyway. After her normal routine she came downstairs in the assigned school uniform and ate some breakfast gulping down her milk in the progress. Rikka gave both her parents a quick goodbye kiss before heading off. Once on the streets she walked the whole way towards the bus despites having wings. She felt somewhat more normal that way and it was actually quite relaxing.

Once near the buss stop Rikka had gotten somewhat nervous after seeing the other students. It was known that this school got quite some reputation for having plenty of rotten apples mixed into the student list. From a distance Rikka spied the bus stop feeling too uncomfortable to step any closer towards these others. Most of them looked normal in her eyes but some of the others didn't seem all too friendly. It was bound to come but eventually she missed the bus... Maybe it was for the better, the bus looked pretty shady yet the students still stepped in despites that... At least she wouldn't be potentially kidnapped this way. Rikka's wings started to twitch before rapidly moving to take the girl off the ground. Once in the air she took some height and softly followed the truck towards location.

After a short while it came to a stop near a decently normal looking house for some reason. It had a big building in the back presumably the gym, so she sort of believed that it was a school? The students entered while Rikka landed a few streets further away from them. At least she knew where it was now for in case she was gonna be late again tomorrow. Softly she let herself in the front door, careful for others and silent not to alert them. Looking through the entree hallway it was noticed that there was high value in paintings throughout hallway. Rikka took a glimpse at some of them but generally wasn't really interested in art. Better not to touch any for now before she gets the bill in the mail.

From inside she could hear people talking what probably where the students talking. She headed closer towards the back door and silently opened it, Rikka carefully peeked through the small gap in between the doors seeing how the teacher was getting them one by one entering the building behind. Some were getting back out looking quite exhausted, this didn't look like fun at all... The guy taking them in looked way too scary for doing this stuff to them. Rikka didn't really feel like she would be cut out for a school like this. It was way darker then the fun looking U.A. high, maybe she should just go home.

Rikka lost her balance and accidentally tiptoed forwards. The doors fell open with Rikka leaning on it showing the girl that was hidden behind it. Rikka fell further forward as the door went to the side landing with her chin on the grass first letting out a small pained huff. Rikka laid there for a short minute stroking her hurted chin. No scrapes... Rikka quickly sat upright on her legs as she moved her head to the side with her arms folded, trying to ignore the rest sitting there after embarrassing herself so much.

The kick connected solidly in Lorken's groin, Karada's leg feeling strained from the amount of force put behind it. While the elbow hit connected squarely in his chest, it would be clear to anyone what the stronger blow was. Years spent training his body gave him a squat of 325 pounds, and a kick from legs like those were sure to knock this guy down. While Karada couldn't hear it, Lorken's teeth dug into his arms, as a barely suppressed scream echoed next to Karada's ears. The grip that had encased Karada's throat like an iron maiden immediately softened, enough for him to break away and gulp down the sweet, sweet oxygen to his burning lungs. Eyes narrowing, Karada immediately turned, using the momentum to help throw a punch directly at Lorken's throat. As the horned man coughed violently, Karada quickly rose to his feet, attempting to deliver a kick to the gut, only to feel a bright flash of pain in his leg. Lorken's claws had dug deep into his flesh, nearly down to the bone, and the blood of the two men began to mix. It would almost be poetic, if Karada wasn't in searing pain. In the back of his mind, he jokingly reminded himself that his pants were now completely ruined, only to be interrupted mid thought as a hand brushed the back of his head, slamming his and Lorken's together. Stars flew, and Karada was about to deliver another punch to the throat, but a combination of pain from his leg and claw marks on his throat caused him to move too slowly, and with another swift headbutt (Thankfully missing the horns both times), he and Lorken both fell to the ground.

"Karada Fudosan, pass."

The words barely processed in his dazed mind, and he was already shakily making his way to his feet when the words finally seemed to register. Karada simply waited several seconds, barely keeping himself steady and out of unconsciousness, pondering if he was simply trying to trick Karada. It wasn't until he stood up and turned to unlock the gym door that Karada calmed down. Lorken was smart, keeping him in his peripheral vision, but he was being sure to let him know that he didn't intend to fight Karada anymore. Karada began to make his way over to the door, doing his best not to show his limp, before speaking out.

"I already knew that. I told you-"

A sudden coughing fit overtook Karada, remnant of that choked windpipe. So much for looking cool...

"-I told you I was a hero, didn't I?"

Normally he would have been more respectful, but bleeding heavily and getting a concussion didn't really make him feel in the mood to kiss ass. Karada staggered out of the gym, slowly making his way over to his abandoned suit jacket. At least that wasn't ruined... As he made his way over, Gank rose to his feet, checking out his body and trying to figure out what he was in for. Karada received a pat on the back from his friend, and while the physical contact occurred, Karada whispered as softly as he could in order to ensure Lorken didn't hear.

"Good luck, he's a tough fucker. Go for his family jewels."

Karada continued his staggering, not even turning to look at Gank's reaction. As he finally made his way to his spot, he moved his suit jacket to prevent blood from getting on it, before slumping unceremoniously to the ground. Karada did his best in order to retain consciousness, occasionally slapping himself awake. After about 10 minutes, however, he was feeling significantly better - Probably because he was treating his leg wound with some disinfectant and bandages he brought along. After being satisfied, he pondered slightly how bad the others must be worried - Karada came back with a deep leg wound, was barely conscious, and was bleeding profusely through the nose because of the headbutts. Then again, he wasn't that worried when the short kid disappeared (And still wasn't present, to Karada's dismay), and the kids before him, while not as roughed up, were definitely worse for wear. Maybe the other kids had already accepted this was their last chance. No, that was definitely it.

The white-haired girl seemed to be more comfortable, or at the least wasn't ignoring the group of people sitting around her anymore. Karada was a ball of nerves before entering, but now that he had passed the test, he spent more time examining her - The most obvious thing about her was that she had a pair of large wings on her back. Hell, when she was sitting, they were touching the ground! Other than that, she also possessed antennae, and while she wasn't as short as the red head, she looked very lithe, almost delicate. This pointed to a bug like quirk, and considering most animal-like quirks related to an actual animal, she was most likely based on a flying insect, like a fly or a dragonfly. The people with bug-like quirks face some of the only discrimination that even exists anymore, mainly due to their alien looking physiology. Maybe she was like him, and was disliked or rejected for something she couldn't control, or something she didn't do. That, or Karada was simply overthinking it because of massive blood loss. Keeping the girl in his peripheral vision, Karada's thoughts wandered to the short guy that was missing. Aketchi-kun, if he remembered correctly. Where the hell did he go? Was Lorken actually serious when he said that he wasn't going easy on them? It was almost impossible that he was killed... He probably got beat up pretty badly and got sent to the nurse office or something... Karada settled on that excuse, lest his mind wander to darker reasoning.

Time passed slowly, and with nothing to do besides occasionally smacking himself to retain consciousness, he waited for Gank to exit the gymnasium, before pulling out two cigarettes and offering one to the worse-for-wear Gankona.

"How'd it go?"

His plan wasn't working. Sure, Kaz managed to pilfer the gun from Lorken and caught the big guy by surprise, but none of that means a damn thing if Kaz wasn't hitting his target. Six shots were fired: three of which struck Lorken in the stomach, one narrowly missed, and the remaining two made impact with Lorken's hand and forehead respectively. The plan failed spectacularly. "Damn it... I was aiming for his nuts." But alas, it isn't all bad, Lorken is dazedβ€”probably from the last one he took to the dome. Kaz sees an opportunity to capitalize and blitzes towards the staggered brute. A pistol whip to the temple would definitely cause some damage, regardless of the meager force behind the attack. But Lorken, being the stubborn and resilient bastard that he is, makes a swift recovery and, reciprocally, charges at Kaz.

As the two of them close the distance, Lorken swings at Kaz with a mean right hook which our wouldn't-be hero expertly dodges. No, wait. Never mind. Kaz slipped a little again which is the only reason why the attack missed. As Kaz catches his balance, he soon finds an elbow flying at his face. He thinks about blocking the blow with the gun but then he'd have a sturdy piece of metal hitting his forehead. So instinctively, he blocks with his right palm. As the elbow makes contact, Kaz could feel a finger bone snapped in place. He doesn't even have the luxury of feeling that pain as a blow to his stomach expunges the air from Kaz's lungs which is then followed by a second body blow; whatever he's wheezing out isn't air at this point. A final left hook reunites Kaz with his old flame: the floor.

Meanwhile, the exhausted Lorken takes an immediate seat to recover some lost breath. Almost half a minute passes and Kaz has still yet to move a muscle. Ready to add manslaughter to the list, Lorken, you horny bastard? An entire minute nearly passes before Kaz finally comes to. "W-What...? Tired already...? You're not done with me yet..." Kaz, slowly but surely, gets back up onto his feet and stumbles toward Lorken, gun still in handβ€”left hand to be precise; if one looks closely, they can see a somewhat unnatural bend to one of Kaz's right fingers. Kaz can't make even three feet of lateral movement before collapsing once more. It takes a second, but Kaz starts to worm his way to Lorken by using his arms to claw his body forward.

Once near Lorken, Kaz tosses the gun at his head. Yeah, it'd probably won't do a thing but this is all the energy Kaz could muster. Maybe it'll chip off a piece of his horn if Kaz rolls a natural 20. Kaz didn't see if it hit its mark or not. He gets into a kneeling position and stares at Lorken while breathing and wheezing heavily. There is no comment to be made. Okay, maybe one. "How's it feel to be reunited with your long lost son, Dank Cola? Ya know, the goat boy..." Blood spurts from his nose afterwards.

Like a large lonely gorilla desperate for a single hug, Mizumi quickly drew her python-like arms around Lorken, wrapping them around the horned man in attempt to subdue him with a muscle bounded embrace. To her misfortune but not her surprise, Mizumi’s self-proclaimed wrestling-inspired plan was far from successful. Instead of two massive physiques being pressed against each other, Mizumi just got nothing but air. The sequence of events that had followed were well thought off and masterfully executed, but to Mizumi it was something far simpler and all happened in an instant.

With her knees giving out, Mizumi was left in an unfavorable position. Her balance was messed up and body unsteady; the fact Lorken was going for her throat didn’t make the situation any better. Given everything that had just taken place, what could she do? It wasn’t like she had a lot of options. Falling? She didn’t have the finesse or agility to skillfully recover from that. The clawed hand heading straight for her throat? Mizumi wasn’t sure if she could fend it off.

If the test was some kind of game, then it was just about time for Mizumi to make a clutch decision. She disregarded her forward fall and Lorken’s attack all together, and redirected her attention to one thing; landing a solid blow first. Given her size and the current length of her arms, Mizumi assumed that she’d have the advantage when it came to reach. Using the forward momentum of her fall, she swung her arm forward, aiming low, hoping to ram it straight towards anywhere between Lorken’s head and chest.

As she let her arm loose, Mizumi instinctively winced and tilted her head forward, making her chin rest along the apex of her manubrium. During the last few moments before finding out whether she’d hit her mark or not, Mizumi took her eyes of her opponent and unconsciously tried to protect her neck. It wasn’t unexpected; she was a young girl who had zero to no experience when it came to fighting. Hesitating and fear weren’t unusual. However, would this lead to her entire plan failing? Chances point towards yes, but to sure, stick around and find out in the next update.

Danh's assault hadn't produced any real results. That was just about what Danh expected; he had never intended for his attacks to land, only to put pressure on him. What came of it all in the end was that Lorken finally attacked him, drawing knives from back and moving in to slash and stab. If this had been a real fight, this might have been where Danh was done for. Danh had trained a lot in preparation for the entrance exam he never got to attend, but goodness only knew fighting a real villain as a fresh student would have probably gotten him killed. He was mostly sure Lorken didn't want him dead at this point, but him getting serious would be the point where Danh would expect to lose.

Only, he did not expect to lose just yet. This scenario had been what he was waiting for. He let the attack come, only stepping back to avoid actually taking the hit, but as his opponent stepped inwards, his free harpoon shot out, seeking to strike Lorken as his momentum carried him forward. But he was not done yet; as Lorken dealt with his initial strike, Danh flicked his whip back around and aimed to land a blow on his leg. It wasn't a plan that was likely to win the day, given he knew Lorken could take a nasty blow without complaining, but he could at least aim to get a hit in. Defeating the teacher was probably not something he should expect, but he at least hoped he could show that he could damn well fight and definitely deserved to keep going.

The two giants collide in a final, deciding grapple, Lorken grasping Gankona's angled shoulders as the true ram skirt to a halt in front of the boss. Quickly, Gank tucked in and planted his long legs into the ground in front of his opponent, standing up from a squatting position to meet the chiseled and coarse face of Lorken. Gankona did not allow himself much time to think, but instead, much more time to act. For, indeed, thinking got him nowhere in this struggle; his wits would never compare to that of the cunning Lorken, so he had to work in the field of his own expertise. The moment.

Gankona's arms slithered around Lorken's, going under than over the boss's appendages before grounding themselves in Lorken's own shoulders. The true ram strained and tightened his grip and muscles, capturing his opponent's arms in the crook of his arms. Gank then positioned one his legs behind Lorken's, allowing the fellow goat-man no personal space nor room for movement; the act was akin to a wrestling move, where one would put there own leg behind their opponent's in order to trip them. Here, face to face, and with his lengthy mobility hindered, Gankona hoped to strike fierce blows at Lorken. Bringing his head back in a wide, tilted swing, Gankona threw his skull in to an angled head-butt. Truthfully, the move was much more like a head-slap in it's preparation and execution; the blunt of the blow imposing to strike the left of Lorken's face, mostly aiming for the eye and temple.

Smack. Gankona's attack smashed into the face of his opponent with a loud sound and equal impact. The boy's head reeled back from the blow, yet, Gank was stalwart to keep his grip on Lorken; If he let go, the boss had absolute control of this brawl. Adrenaline entered and started replacing the thick pump of Gankona's blood. His body tensed with battle-ready anticipation for the fruition and effort of the true ram's dangerous endeavors. It was as if Gank was back in the bad part of town, preparing to rob a store once again. The reeling of the goat-boy's head morphed into another swing, this time posed to crash into the right side of Lorken's face. His hands clenched tighter around the boss's broad shoulders as he head made contact, a terrific blow that sent a shock of pain through Gankona's adrenalized body. Hopefully, Lorken experienced the same discomfort.

Gankona soon felt the already strong grip of Lorken strengthen on his shoulders, the beast's fingers digging into his flesh as they brought out the energized blood from within the true ram's fleshy collar. Gankona tensed once more, his body propelling the last swing of his head with a rush of blind ferocity. His efforts became designed to defend the goat-boy from Lorken's attacks with yet more offense. The last headbutt clashed, horns clamored against horns as the two combatants took their side of the blow with nearly equal fortitude. Yet, the true ram felt something shift. The iron-grip of Lorken's clawed hands softened for a second, the shock of Gankona's headbutt having loosened them a tad. Gankona had only a moment; he would have to use it.

With a primal speed and strength that was only suspended by the boy's overclocked adrenaline and determination, Gankona wrought Lorken's nails out of his shoulders and shoved them to the boss's sides. Quickly, Gank stood back from his bulky opponent for only a second before slamming his left shoulder into Lorken's gut, the true ram's long arms wrapping around his opponent's pinned arms and planted legs. Here was the moment of truth, make-or-break time; was this half-baked plan really going to work? Perhaps, with the force of an aspiring and excited Gankona behind it.

All of the goat-boy's muscles strained in unison, burning in a mass of muscular power as they all worked to succeed in executing Gankona's attack. The hulking form of Lorken was brought slowly up off of the ground as the boss was hauled onto Gank's shoulder. The true ram's arms bulked and gripped with a great force as Gank endeavored to keep the whole of Lorken's body in an off-the-ground grapple, his pulsing arms wrapping around his opponent's pinned arms and straggling legs. Gankona lifted almost entirely with his legs, his calves and thighs tensing in triumphant prowess as they hauled Gankona up into a standing position with Lorken contained on his shoulder. Years of flying through store windows and dark alleyways finally paid off in a more legal way. But Lorken was not one to be dominated so easily; his bulking frame started to struggle with a growing strength that Gankona could only hope to stifle with the cage formed by his biceps. Here the goat-boy was again, with only a small spare of time to use; a moment.

Gankona launched his horns into Lorken's exposed side, hopefully knocking some air out of the boss as he started to initiate his half-baked scheme. With a straining desperation, Gankona started his bolt to the Gymnasium wall. Lorken's body, haphazardly trapped in the confines of Gank's arms, twisted around with a swivel of the goat boy's torso, the boss's face the only thing facing the metal wall that facilitated this damaging test. A second wind came to the tired muscles of Gankona as he approached the wall, his aspirations and adrenaline growing as his thoughts turned to that of exceeding against the vastly superior Lorken. The boy's stride became longer and faster, until finally the painted sheet of steel came within feet. Gankona's arms tightened, stilling the quickly struggling Lorken as the boss's face prepared for immediate impact.

SMASH

Lorken's face slammed into metal, another swivel of Gankona's hips bringing the boss's nose into faster contact with the wall than expected. The impact rang throughout the pair, Gankona's determined muscles keeping a lock on the boss as he came about for another swing of Lorken into the wall.

SMACK

Another direct hit, this time bringing a physical response from the battered Lorken. His arms started shifting and wiggling under the hard embrace of Gankona's arms, his feet kicking in the open air. One more hit was probably all the goat-boy had left until Lorken found himself a way out.

CRACK

The last hit was the most satisfying, Lorken's face reeling back in a range of emotions Gankona could not exactly pin-point. Anger, determination, and... Admiration? Gank could not notice them all, but what the goat-boy did indeed notice was the searing pain in his left shoulder blade. There stuck five of Lorken's long, clawed fingers, their tips digging into the flesh of the true ram as if to painfully warn him that the boss was finally coming out of his imprisonment. Gank, in a flurry of instinct, lunged his body weight forward. Gank's arms untangled from Lorken's ferocious mass as he pushed the intimidating hulk up and away from him, the true ram's body lurching forward as Lorken was thrown with all of the might Gankona could muster. The beasts claws were once again wrenched from Gankona's back, and the goat boy fell flat on his face as he tossed his momentum into his opponent with reckless abandon. Lorken did indeed fly, but it took all of Gank's energy to make such a feat so. So he laid there, blood leaking from atop his face onto his eyes as the wounds from both Lorken's retaliations and Gank's own headbutting started to finally settle in.

Gankona did not recover so quickly as he had done before, his body slowly picking itself up as the goat-boy lifted himself from the gymnasium's slick ground. Blood painted the top half of his face in splatters; a price to pay for such arrogant recklessness. His muscles softly vibrated as the boy's peripheral vision became hazy and drowsy, sweat matting his fur in clumps as he stood across from the hopefully battered Lorken. Both stood silently, until Gankona finally broke the silence with a shout.

"Alright, you can go on the offense now. Do your worst."

Gank followed the cry with a fit of coughing, his split lip sprouting a stream of blood that flowed down his chin and into his clumping fur. The price of arrogance.

Gankona exited the gymnasium still coughing, his body trailing over to a familiar sound and sight; the boy Karada. Gank let his body fall down to the ground beside his friend as the blondey pulled a duo of cigarettes out of his case. Gank greedily plucked both of them out of the boy's hand, lighting the cigs as he put them together into his wide mouth.

"How'd it go?"

"Did some shit, got hit by some shit, learned some shit. Really, it was mostly me getting into shit. How' bout you?
How did your little fight go?"

"Wait, what the hell is your quirk anyways?"

Lorken needn't have done anything against Kaz, simply grabbing the gun as it weakly sailed through the air in one seemingly final attempt at defiance. Exactly as the horned instructor had hoped for. The philosophy he brought the L.O.S.E.R was the idea of strength. In a fight where lives were at stake you could not afford to fear the end or despair at your own weakness, you grasped the last straws filtering through your hands and clawed victory out of the jaws of defeat.
Or you lose as a Hero.

Of course this did not mention that should you be faced with imminent death it is always wiser to retreat or regroup. Stopping a villain was, to Lorkens way of thinking, never worth throwing your life away.
Protect those who can't. At the end of the day as long as a life is not taken the rest is just material goods.

Ignoring the bit about Gankona and the absurdity of his being Lorkens progeny, he addressed the boy. Both of them still sitting or kneeling respectively.

"Kazuto Akechi. You are weak, untrained, and seem to only use your brain when its time to run your mouth. Despite your flaws," his voice trails off as Lorken stares at the gun Kaz had very skillfully taken from right under his nose. "Despite that. You do have potential and a degree of wit that some heroes in the industry are sorely lacking."

With a grunt, his free hand holding his chest where the rubber bullets had struck, Lorken returns the pistol to its proper place. Striding over to Kazuto he leans down and pats the boy on the shoulder, flashing a fierce grin at the boys stubborn posture.

"Before you go, tell me something; how did it feel to care for once."

Another knowing grin spread across his face before waving the boy away.

"Dismissed."

Inexperience and doubt haunts your mind, doesn't it Mizumi?

Lorkens mind mused on what little he had learned about the sponge girl, any scraps of knowledge he could gleam from his usual sleuthing. Mizui was not the studious type, suffering from poor grades from what he had learned, and with retired hero parents pressuring the girl to follow in their footsteps or some other such nonsense.
Trapped by the lack of choices and suffering for it.

Lorken took the punch stoically to the chest, honestly expecting it to break a rib, and winced as it likely did just that. The strike was heavy and uncoordinated given that it was thrown half-assed from a falling position but it still stung badly enough that he nearly lost his grip.
In the back of his mind he questioned if this was the right fit for someone like her. Physically strong but lacking in many categories, and likely not even wanting to be here. The girls parents had explained what they figured was the problem to Lorken when he had come to visit..

His hand was firmly on her throat but not squeezing hard enough to cut off the flow of oxygen, but he was standing on top of her. Staring into her eyes with his own bright red orbs. They hungered for something, the intensity alone could burn the skin so it seemed, as Lorken examined her face for subtle little signs that she would retaliate.

"Your body passes my requirements for enrollment but that isn't enough. Why are you here, Mizumi? Do you want to suffer the broken bones and misery that your classmates and myself will endure for the sake of someone else. Lie to me and I'll make sure you wake up and your grandparents house with bags all packed."

To put emphasis on his declaration the grip began to get tighter.

@Mercurial

Deal with the threats as they happen. Smart thinking.

Lorken silently approved of Dahns willingness to allow a superior opponent into his effective range but simultaneously held off praise for that exact same reason. If the boys defenses didn't push his opponent back with any success it would be a tight squeeze to escape the rush of attacks.
The whip swung faster, aimed at the horned mans legs, but Lorken ignored it. Assuming it was just meant to inflict a bit of damage or break his forward momentum. The initial lunge of his blade went as planned.

The whip snagged his leg in the initial moments and carried his footing off center just enough to alter where his own blade went, missing the mark by inches as he instinctively readjusted his stance.
The harpoon launched at Lorkens exposed chest.

Men and Women on the streets claim that luck was never something you put stock in. Hoping the universe would see you safely through any situation was naive and outright dangerous, it made you sloppy or complacent with failure of any kind.
Lorkens jaw was tight enough to crush coal into diamonds as the edge of the harpoon missed by inches, punching a shallow but clean straight line across the devil mans back before cutting a hole through the back of the finely tailored suit he wore.
Unlike the hit to his shoulder earlier Lorken had not been prepared in the slightest to come that close with what could have been a career endingly bad (fatal) strike. It was all instict after that.

Dropping his knife, Lorken was quick to cast aside his suit jacket still tangled in the boys chain, with a single well practiced motion. The clothing only got in the way at this point. Without it covering up his dress shirt and vest it also stopped concealing the hidden items he had strapped to him.

Two knives on his back hip.
Pistol below the left arm.
On his right hip was a small taser of some sort.

Below the vest were no doubt even more accompanying items of varying use. Truthfully there wasn't anything else for these tests, but in the field he was well prepared.

Lorken grabbed the chain before it could reel back in for another shot and pulled with all of his considerable strength, his grimace showed real pain and real anger as Dahn was forcibly dragged like a ragdoll off his feet in the sudden angry rush of movement. Up and over he went to crash down hard into a wooden two-sided ramp in the gymnasium meant as a makeshift wall. The thick wood crumbled under his weight.
Another pull had the boy about to be launched again. This time, Lorken was only using one hand.

His other held the pistol at the ready.

@GodOfWar

The fight had been intense. A clash of willpower versus years of practical knowledge. Lorken would have taken any bet in the house no matter how outrageous and put it on himself for a quick and easy victory within minutes. All expectations were shattered under the unbridled fury of the true ram in motion as Gankona all but put the teacher through the ringer.
With a physical enhancement quirk it was childs play the overpower the Red Devil. Most did so with one big show of force and got cocky, but Gank was relentless. Strike after strike with all of his weight put into them had Lorken in a corner so to speak. It was all he could do to keep both feet on the ground and even then it wasn't for long and never for much of an advantage.
Or an opportunity.

On the rare moments that he was given even a second to strike he took it but it felt like hitting a car at this point.

By the time Gankona had exhausted himself of every ounce of energy in his surprisingly sturdy frame, Lorken was bloodied and bruised. A beating he could not remember getting in many years. He was just about to congratulate the true ram on a brazen but well earned acceptance when the boy opened his mouth one more time to throw a bit of mud.

"Alright, you can go on the offense now. Do your worst."

All bets were off.

Lorken was on Gankona within moments. His back ached, his shoulder was bruised and likely swelling, his ears rang and his brain was rattled, and he didn't give any of those problems the time of day.
A quick right aimed at the boys face stopped short, the left hand punching Gank hard in the exposed stomach. Air blown from his lungs and defenses momentarily dropped, Lorken grasped his head and hopped forward to bring his knee hard into the boys nose and followed up with another hard punch to the same spot.
His dress shoes kicked out hard into the boys chest like a cannon to launch Gankona across the room as Lorken snarled.

Adrenaline was pumping into every inch of the big red teacher as he all but stomped across the room to where Gank was laying, standing atop him the way one would expect of the grim reaper. No attack came to finish the boy off.

"Get some rest, Gank. Rest that mouth of yours for tomorrow." Lorkens grin, blood dripping from the sides of his mouth and nose, was the furthest thing from menacing. It was bright with joy. "I look forward to working with you in the future."

------------------

Everytime the students left, there was sometimes a brief pause between one fight and the next. Sometimes he would redress, dust himself off, take something quickly to drink that had been laying off to the side.. Other times, like with Gankona, he reached into his vest pocket and a tiny plastic bag that rested in it.
Lorken consumed one of the tiny black pills in the bag and felt his blood turn to fire as the drug did its work, indeed burning the injury from his sore body in mere minutes. They weren't cheap but they worked perfectly for these severe training sessions where injury would otherwise cause him to be incapable of fighting further.

So when nobody was watching he took them, recovered to fighting form, and carried on.

(Ok folks! Wrap up your fights AS YOU SEE FIT. No rules, except that you lose. Gracefully. Make it a close fight if you want. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do! Those of you already done, hang tight till the others finish. We'll be skipping to the afternoon on my NEXT post.)

The word shit travelled in Yuri's mind before the actual blow was connected. The punch did not "break" his arm per se. His skin was too dense to have bone popping out of it from the bone, but Lorken could hear a sizeable crack worthy enough to make Yuri grimace. Yuri then soldiers through the pain and delivers a kick to the big man's body and manages to escape his grip and then land on his feet, staggering back a bit. He then resorts to digging back in his backpack and drinking more milk, sighing as he finishes the whole carton. "... That. Hurt."

Yuri, seemingly on his last leg, was panting heavily. He was heavily bruised enough from Lorken's attacks and he has his shirt cut open by a knife. He rolled his previously injured arm, stretching out and until one could hear a satisfying crack. He then looks at Lorken, spitting out some more blood before wiping his face. He dispelled his quote-on-quote gauntlets, looking towards the big man to see if he wanted to try anything else. Yuri just stood out with his arms out in questioning. "Well, what's the verdict, big guy?"

They were hardly decisive hits, but they were bloody well hits, and not ones that he had let happen like the first one. He did not look the least bit happy to have come so close to another nasty gash. Any satisfaction over having met his one goal quickly evaporated, as Lorken did the one thing Danh had been hoping he wouldn't do; he grabbed his harpoon with every intent to swing him, and swing him he did. Danh was yanked airborne and slammed into a thick, wooden ramp. This was the first time he'd actually taken damage himself during this test, and it certainly hurt. Lorken seemed to have taken a liking to tossing him around, since he wasted no time in swinging him up and over yet again. It was hardly any fun to be thrown about, but Danh took a certain satisfaction in the fact he seemed to have driven the badass criminal man to go nuts like this.

After landing for a second time, Danh managed to look up at Lorken and give him a cocky smile. "You mad, bro?" He called out to him. The fact that he was then launched again with greater force seemed to confirm it; yes, Lorken was mad. In spite of being thrown down hard again, Danh was intent on keeping up a steady banter, if only to make it seem like he wasn't being beaten down so badly. "You know, this would have worked out a lot worse for me if you'd actually stabbed me. Is this place even-is that a goddamn gun!?" Danh had just noticed that Lorken had prepared a weapon. Perhaps it was all the full body slams that made it hard to notice earlier. Danh was starting to reignite his theories that this place was a dumping ground for prisoners, and they let this guy toy around with them as he pleased. Lorken seemed in no mind to respond, as he continued to swing Danh down and around. It was hard for Danh to formulate a counter to all this tossing and swinging, given he was busy being tossed and swung. He could hardly reel his harpoons in while this was going on, so his options were limited.

But then he realised; he might not be able to reel his harpoon in with Lorken gripping it like that, but he could still use the reeling function.

Waiting until he was swung again, Danh then began to use his reeling ability, angling his body so as to become a human projectile. He was coming in at an odd angle, but he was absolutely coming at Lorken with some momentum. In the end, it wasn't a clean hit, but he ended up connecting, smacking into Lorken and knocking his harpoon clear of his grasp. He then had a bit of a nasty landing, smacking into the floor hard and travelling some distance, but he wasn't dead. Now all he had to do was stand up and keep going...

Or not. Or yes, but he found the act of trying to get back up so trying there was no way he was going to get up in time to stop Lorken from attacking him again. All the swinging around on top of his little trick had caught up to him. "Goddamn..." He managed to sputter out while he tried to raise himself from the floor. "Is this the part where I find out this was all a sham? Cause I wouldn't be surprised at this point..."
