*After a little while she falls unconscious as she begins to bleed out and die*

*Iris is resting peacefully now, and Horus feels he needs to know what happened with the fight. He covers her in the blankets and leaves the room to see the trail of blood leading to Hanna's room*

*He runs towards Hanna's room*

*Far away, the door to where Mergoux is being kept swings open and the Togan walks in*
Togan: You! Wake!
*He smacks her hard across the face*
Togan: Father says no more pain! Not hurt you bad enough I say. I to bring you to him. You come quiet, or else father said I take you. Understand?
*Mergoux spits blood in Togan's face defiantly*

*He grins fiendishly*

*He removes her shackles and drags her off.*

*Nonac looks over seeing Horus run and shout linking things*

*When the pink grenade discharges, it spawns a larg black portal that seems to produce a wretched wailing.*
*The leader is dragged away laughing, and the portal makes a loud 'bang,' and a flash of light.*
*Standing where the leader was is a hulking beast with a bipedal body except no head. It's large, has two arms and legs, and appears to be covered in chitin plate. Four glowing purple eyes stare at Lecter, and dozens of long red crystals appear to be protruding from the creatures back. It stomps forward, and inhales the fresh air.*

*It grabs one of the crystals shafts protruding from it's back, pulls it out with a wet sucking sound, and points it at Lecter.

*Lecter smells the air and points his own sword at the creature*

*The Devil Hunter starts circling the creature, looking for a weak point*

*The creature keeps it's eyes on Lecter, and keeps his crystal spear aimed at him.*

*It then hurls his spear crystal at Lecter.*

*Lecter dashes to the side to avoid the spear and fires his pistol at the creature's eyes*
*The Devil Hunter charges at the creature while still firing, trying to get close enough to use his blade*

*Furia though wounded, eventually bests the horse captain, and holds the blade to his neck and scatters the captains blade across the floor, greater endurance and strengh winning the drawn out battle of blades*

*With a single swift stroke Futia takes the head of the horse captain as his blood spills across the floor and the smell may be rather delicious to Hanna*

*He looks down at her seriously*

*The woman stirs and sees the head-choppy-offy*

*She sits up weakly, noting her arm has been fixed and her wounds tended to.*

*Hanna catches the smell of blood and instantly gets very hungry looking*

Hanna: C-close my door! I-I can smell more blood!

*Hanna covers her nose then starts drooling slightly*

*A tear rolls down her right cheek*

*Horus nods slams the door while shouting "stay here" then goes out to find what's going on*
Horus: What's going on?! John? What the- What did you do?!
*He glares at the barbarians and reaches for a sword, forgetting momentarily that he has none*

*The woman stares in awe at Horus*
Woman: Eldari... Ancient One...
*Horus barely spares the woman a curious glance before turning his attention back to the couple of Barbarians*

*Deep in the forest, at the base of a mountain, hidden in a network of caves, Mergoux lies in a cage. Togan's sister prowls around it, poking at her cruelly with a red-hot iron poker. With every scream of pain from Mergoux the tiger-woman giggles*
*Between jabs of pain Mergoux concentrates, resisting the pain, praying for relief and rescue and hoping her ally reached the room*

*Iris wakes after some time and shudders as she realizes it wasn't a dream, and that Horus is not there. She stays curled up in a ball, wishing for some miracle to change her back, or for at least someone to come and snuggle her sadness away*

*She dare not remove the hand covering her nose or open her door*

*Her wings slowly retract and her left eye goes back to its normal color*

*Nonac looks down at her heavy northern accent and shoulder bandaged crudely but effectively *

We where scattered by war vs a bear warlord, sought to end our people, but North had many ways to escape that they not know.
