I hope that I am writing this in the correct place, I am just sort of lost. I am new to this site and I've asked around on some things so I know the basics on how to join in a role-play and such however; I am thinking of making up my own role-playing group and I don't know how to officially start it. I know that you have to put out an interest check and see if anyone takes a nibble, but I don't know how to make it look fancy. xD If that makes sense, for example I was reading over an IC and they had it placed under little tabs that were labeled and I didn't know if that was html coding or something of that source, or if when making an IC it will have that sort of stuff for me to figure out. I just want to know like, how to make something look so fantastic that it peeks others interests.

Check the articles section, or just take a look at my signature. I have Gming tutorials as well as some generic layouts precoded that might be of use for you to get an idea from.

Start off with paragraphs and headings. Using the h3 tag will give you something like below.


Then add your text underneath, like this lot here. If you want more info on other ideas, check out this article for more information on BB coding.

That should get you started, but don't go too overboard on design until you master the idea of laying out for information convenience.
