I wonder, how many years have passed since Ull'Yang did this? Like, is there an approximate time frame? Also, considering that said comet was created by divine means, it's ok to assume that it would be rather long lived, right?

I remember having Gerrik and Stone Chipper observe that comet a while back. It should appear in the skies every now and again. Considering how long-lived Gerrik is, he'll probably see it again soon. It's probably been on a few orbits now.
You want an actual time frame, though? Several mortal generations, at least. Maybe a few hundred years (since it reached Galbar, anyway).
Don't worry, Vestec will find Ull'yang and they'll have a heart to heart about how Vestec isn't angry at Yangy for trying to kill his avatar and then basically pushing Vowzra to be murdered by Jvan because Yangy leapt to the conclusion that his plan was to murder rather than help or constrain and yelling at him and ignoring all of Violence's explanations that Vowzra would only do that if absolutely nothing else was working.
Yo, I might not be very active for a few days starting Monday. Going off on a wild goose chase to the middle of nowhere. Will probably still get some stuff written, though.
@Antarctic Termite Gah, I was only reading over the page where you told us all about your misadventures a few days ago. I remember something about you getting stranded...getting chased by ostriches...alien invasion...kangaroos...a few emus...and a koala bear
Since things have been going at a bit of a plod, and we want to avoid a repeat of the drawn-out event that was Stand, we're coming up with a list of critical points that may be relevant later on in the chronology. We've been bantering about this for so long now that we might as well write the summary before we do the actual posts, anyway.
This is here so that characters that need to can move on. Parts of the battle will still probably be written as a collab, though there's no real estimate for when. Specific details that were relevant to the characters that were there, but don't need to be collaborated, can now be dealt with as individual flashbacks.
It's probably a growing list, though! Drop a note with a bunch of tags if you need the all-clear on anything.
-Tauga waits in the sky with her Bludgeons as the Cosmic Knights re-enter. She starts killing what she can.
-As thousands more descend, they converge on her and the orbital impacts eventually destroy one of her ophanim. Tauga sends the ophanim away for a little while, leaving her unable to fly.
-Cosmic Knight orbital bombardment. Thousands of biopunk space marines collide with the city.
-The Alefprian army turns up at the gates. They've marched there on foot and Mannequin.
-So do the dwarves. They're being teleported in by Vestec.
-Sen and the Rotflies that stayed behind in Xerxes lead the Dagon. None(?) of them survive.
-The Dagon wage fierce urban warfare against the united invaders, and try to isolate the Knights.
-Bludgeons help. Note that they are supermagnetic, and only the Alefprian / Imperial forces are armed with metal.
-Keriss has a bunch of mass suffering powers, which helps her sway the battle.
-Likewise, Amartia's Dark Carnival spell is still in effect. Those caught in Xerxes without his blessing are liable to start acting on their own instincts and desires.
-However, Lifprasil's power to sway emotion is strong enough to counteract this. There's probably some back-and-forth.
-Tauga falls to earth and somehow encounters Lakshmi and Susa. She whips out Amber and the four of them have a massive fight to disable Tauga so she stops bludgeoning Lif's army.
-Lifprasil squares off against Amartia.
-?????????????
-Amartia stops being a problem until his later reincarnation.
-Tauga is defeated. She loses consciousness. Heartworm appears, sends away the Bludgeons, and basically says 'okay, that's enough.' It also pings Keriss- I'll probably do that in a flashback.
-Somewhere along the line Keriss is politely informed that she picked the wrong side, possibly with a hammer.
-Demons and Realta might have gotten involved??? At some point? Maybe?? idk??? Go ask Rtron. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-Lifprasil and Tira square off against Logos.
-Tira carries the GodKiller, and they use it to chase off Logos. Lif is critically injured by contact with the artefact. A protracted ailing process begins.
-Fight winds down. Alefprian victory due to overwhelming forces, despite heavier losses than they anticipated.
-Tira leaves the battlefield alone, to wander.
It's a little Tauga-centric because, y'know, that's the character I have the clearest sense of direction for, but I hope it helps.
My own stories that were waiting on this point- Jvan's resurrection, Tauga's life after Xerxes, Tira's travels, et cetera will start to take place now.
This is the internet. There's no such thing as "to my face." If you mean you profile pic, then sure. *looking straight at LokiLeo789's pic* Vestec. Is. The. Real. Loki. Suck. It.
I might if my characters weren't locked in collabs already :P
Edit: Just completed another section of the hain wiki page. I think I'll put that on the backburner for now so I can actually write a Minus post. Rereading stuff for gathering references has given me some inspiration.
Sup dudes. Could I ask those of you who are Brits a few questions?
First: Which UK town do you think is the best to move into right now? Second: How long does it take to find a job as, say, a small shop's cashier, janitor, etc? Third: Are there any group of people known to be dangerous that one should avoid?
Sorry if these questions are annoying, but I want to get some first-hand info from a Brit. I'm seriously thinking about leaving for the UK, since things are getting way too murky way too fast around here. I used to be able to predict what would happen next, now I can't even do that.
