Pearleane is a small girl with a very big personality. Her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons. Her skin tone is a big contrast to her dark features. Her hair is naturally black and her eyes are the darkest of browns so they appear almost black as well unless in the proper lighting. She adores fashion and tends to be risky with her attire in both color, pattern, and style. Her mother lets her wear makeup on special occasions and she most always choose bright red lips. She is still young and developing but has an older appearance to her than some of her other classmates.

"A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?"
Pearleane looked up at her mother with her large almond shaped dark eyes.

"Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night.

A cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her joyous tears as she shook her head at her only daughter,
"No, my darling. You must have class, ass, and sass."

Pearleane nodded, and repeated back to her mother with a small smirk,
"Class. Sass. Ass. Momma I got it- now when is dinner?"

The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done."

Pearleane was named after her grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Frederick Pompaque) was a muggle and was only really around for Pearleane to be conceived. This may have gave Pearleane a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances. Pearleane's mother a pureblood (Claudia Wilhmer) with little to no help from her parents raised the girl, and taught her to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's.

The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life.

Rowan
Rowan wood has always been much-favoured for wands, because it is reputed to be more protective than any other, and in my experience renders all manner of defensive charms especially strong and difficult to break. It is commonly stated that no dark witch or wizard ever owned a rowan wand, and I cannot recall a single instance where one of my own rowan wands has gone on to do evil in the world. Rowan is most happily placed with the clear-headed and the pure-hearted, but this reputation for virtue ought not to fool anyone - these wands are the equal of any, often the better, and frequently out-perform others in duels.

Falen is a short girl, standing at just five feet, three inches tall. She has acne-free, caramel-colored skin and straight, perfectly white teeth. She is rarely seen without a smile. Her natural brown hair, when straightened, falls past her shoulders. When curly, however, it is shoulder length, neatly coiffuring to reveal a heart shaped face. In a way this made her more beautiful, as the deep brown hair complements her almond shaped eyes which are of a similar shade. Her eyes are without doubt the most captivating aspect of her appearance, reflecting a look of wisdom far beyond her age that can not help but draw people in. There are a few freckles spread charmingly across her cheeks and forehead, which she tends to cover up with foundation. Like her mother, she has a little curvy figure, and weighs in at about a hundred and forty pounds.

Though very beautiful, her grace, the way she carries herself, her attitude, and her enthusiasm all take precedence over her individual physical attributes. Everyday, Fal puts great effort in her appearance; her shirt is always crisp, her skirt is at a modest length, and not a thread is out of place. However, she loves to accessorize in any way possible, wanting to make the uniform her own. You'd usually see her with large hooped earrings, two or three rings on both her ring and pointer fingers, and a gold headband. When not wearing her uniform, you can expect to see her in a pair of jeans, a cute blouse, and sneakers.

:: History ::
Falen was born on June 9th, 2006 in Liverpool to Nicole Jones, a muggle woman from the Dominican Republic, and Darius Tyler, an African Pure-blood wizard who'd been born and raised in London. The two had met on a cruise ship when they were just sixteen years old, and instantly fell in love. Nicole had never even known that magic existed until she got to know Darius, and after a long, steady relationship together, they married. Darius's family, to say the least, were not pleased; they were angry at him for breaking the "pure" chain and allowing a muggle to taint the blood line. They were even more displeased when they heard that he'd impregnated her. Once Falen's elder brother was born just a few months later, Darius's family cut all ties with him, thoroughly disappointed in the young man. The happy couple moved on, completely unbothered, and had Falen a few years later.

Despite his unsupportive family, Darius and Nicole did their best to raise their children well. Nicole's mother and father welcomed Darius and the kids with open arms, eager to get to know the newest members of their family. Falen's mother got a job as a cosmetologist, and her father continued his work in the medical field. She grew up as an ordinary child; She took the train to and from school every weekday, attended church with her mother on Sundays, and made a few close friends along the way. Falen grew up without any knowledge of the wizard world, her parents choosing to ignore that part of her completely. Part of them even wanted to believe that she was born without powers, like her brother, which would make things a great deal easier. Unfortunately, they were not so lucky.

Since she was six, Falen has had a number of incidents which, at the time, didn't make much sense to her. It was always something small; items would end up disappearing from around the house and reappearing in strange places weeks later. They were forced to tell her who she really was, however, when she was seven years old. She'd gotten into a heated argument with her mother, which eventually led to a glass cup full of sweet tea flying across the room and towards her mother's face. She'd ducked out of the way, thankfully, but had much explaining to do. Ever since then, Fal has been taught by her parents everything there is to know about wizardry. She even got to go on a few trips with her father, where she was exposed to things she'd never before seen. She is now no stranger to muggle and magical inventions nor does she discriminate based on blood status. Unfortunately, however, a year later, her father was killed in a car accident, leaving she, her big brother, and her mother alone.

It came as no surprise when Fal received her Hogwarts letter. She'd heard many tales of the school from her father, a Slytherin alumni, and was eager to find out if they were actually true. Fal was overjoyed at the idea of learning more about herself and where her father comes from. She and her family know that she will excel both academically and socially.

Redwood Wood: Wand-quality redwood is in short supply, yet constant demand, due to its reputation for bringing good fortune to its owner. As is usually the case with wandlore, the general populace have the truth back to front: redwood wands are not themselves lucky, but are strongly attracted to witches and wizards who already possess the admirable ability to fall on their feet, to make the right choice, to snatch advantage from catastrophe. The combination of such a witch or wizard with a redwood wand is always intriguing, and I generally expect to hear of exciting exploits when I send this special pairing out from my workshop.

Phoenix Core: This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalize, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

The very first word that pops into one's mind when thinking about Falen is determination, and the second, ambition. Everyone that knows Fal knows that whenever she puts her mind to something, it will get done, regardless of whatever obstacles she has to push through in order to do so. She is intelligent and very articulate, and her confidence is shown through her powerful mannerisms. She is generally friendly, unless you give her a reason not to be. While being confident in both herself and her actions, this is often to a fault. She is very opinionated, has trouble asking for help, and hates admitting when she's wrong. She tends to keep to herself, though is not timid, and can sometimes be sarcastic and cold towards others. She is extremely dependable, however; If you ask her to meet you somewhere, she will be there; if she promises to do something, she will do it; if you ask her for help, she will do everything in her power to assist. Underneath the frustrated sighs and eye-rolls lies a person who's kind and caring at the core.

:: History ::
Lucinda grew up around animals - her family owns great swathes of Scottish highland and uses it breed all manner of creatures though Lucinda's ancestors first began using the land to train and breed Golden Snidgets (for their use in Quidditch). Lucinda is the only child - only heir (since her uncle has no children) - of the Láidir family and, as such, the family endeavour to bring out the confidence and independence required.

Lucinda rarely interacts with muggles, hikers occasionally wander onto their land but are soon directed away with wards and the illusion of dangerous ground. Her Father sometimes jokes about keeping them on the land but her mother is of the opinion "muggles need no help in breeding thank you very much!". Lucinda doesn't hate muggles but she does feel for them, as an able bodied person might if seeing someone who was missing limbs.

Holly wood Holly is one of the rarer kinds of wand woods; traditionally considered protective, it works most happily for those who may need help overcoming a tendency to anger and impetuosity.
