Kamen Rider Chronicle! The Genm Corporation's magnum opus, a MMO with the most immersive AR of all time. While the Genm Corporation was going through dire financial times due to their connection to the Bugster epidemic, some mysterious investors bailed out the company with one condition- the rights to publish and maintain their own Kamen Rider Chronicle servers. Seeing nothing wrong, then-president Ren Amagasaki accepted their offer, conditional with his termination as president of Genm Co. Now, with Ren's disappearance, the servers are open- with a number of changes! With the addition of the leveling system, Ride Players are able to assume new forms to fight more powerful bosses based on the urban legend of the Kamen Riders! Whether it's the mysterious heroes themselves, or the creatures it's rumored they fought, Kamen Rider Chronicle can use the Bugster System to let you recreate the legendary battles using one of five basic classes based on the Genm Corporation's hit games!
Mighty Action X- A platforming action game, where the hero Mighty gets points by eating everything in sight! Use your platforming skill to defeat Count Salty! This Gashat will make you faster and more agile! Taddle Quest- A turn-based RPG, and one of Genm Co.'s most beloved franchises! Wield sword and sorcery to defeat the dark wizard Aranbura and rescue the princess! This Gashat can turn you into a master swordsman, or imbue your weapons with the power of fire and ice! Bang Bang Shooting- A long-awaited FPS that sat in development hell for a decade! As a one-man army, defeat the mechanical mercenaries of Commander Revol! This Gashat will put your senses to the next level, letting you make impossible shots! Bakusou Bike- A fast-paced racing game where anything goes! Race against the speed-obsessed Motors and his gang of biker cyborgs! This Gashat is focused on one thing- pure, blazing speed using its included motorcycle! Don't worry- we fixed the bug that caused users to spawn as the bike! Gururu Monsters- A monster battling game produced by Golgex, it's a hit among kids and adults alike! Gather and befriend monsters, from the Invess and Worms to the mighty Mirror Monsters, and overcome your rival to become a monster-battling champion! This Gashat allows you to tame certain monsters and lead them into battle- but it's not quite as powerful as others on its own!
From there, you can unlock new Gashats by leveling up, defeating Bugsters, defeating wandering Rider bosses, and even other players! With Kamen Rider Chronicle- anyone can become a hero! --- Right, so the gist of it is: We're taking the Fourze approach to the Riders. They're urban legends, fighting monsters that are also urban legends and/or conspiracy theories. A video game company called Golgex has remastered Kamen Rider Chronicle into a video game about the Riders, and is making it a proper MMO. Whatever your character's reason for playing, you might find yourself dragged into a dark, ominous plot by long-gone foes of the Riders.
Each Gashat comes with short little jingles when used to transform. The starting ones can be found here- except Gururu Monsters, which was added to give the game a Beastmaster class. That one goes "You're my best friend! Let's catch 'em all! Go, go, Gururu Monsters!". Of course, the jingle- and overall appearance of a Rider Form- can be altered by cosmetic items you can purchase from an in-game store. Usually it's just color palettes, but some Gashats might behave differently depending on the cosmetics you have equipped- Taddle Fantasy vs. Taddle Legacy for example.

Appearance: Picture or description will be fine, don't have a preference for real vs. anime. Personality: Always a pain, so feel free to omit this. Background: Just a brief bit about your character's past. Any reason they just had to pick up Kamen Rider Chronicle?

@clanjos This could be interesting, does it matter if I don't really know anything about Kamen Rider?
The most important facts about the series are that it's a bunch of karate bugmen fighting a bunch of rubber suit monsters for the fate of humanity and that you need to be good at kicking things.
You already know I'm in! Just need time to get my stuff together for Taddle and Giri-Giri-Chanbara!
@Burning Kitty Skills and Abilities is for your mundane skills and junk, yes. As for the custom legendary Gashat... I'm going to have to say no to that. I stuck in Gururu Monsters because it was something from fake leaks we got during the early parts of Ex-Aid, and I thought if I was skinning this as an MMO to start there needed to be a beastmaster class.
@Jerkchicken Again, going to say no on players making custom gashats for now.
@clanjos Do you feel like Clock up would be an OP ability for the Insect Wars Kabuto Gashat to have? I was deciding between clock up or giving the Rider armor like Kabuto has before cast off, reducing his speed but making him more durable.
@Fourze Moving at light speed for a few seconds might be a tad overpowered to start with, yes. Maybe really, really far down the road it could unlock Clock Up. I'd go for the Masked Form defense boost personally.
@Fourze For the record, you can totally swing a Kabuto gashat, but Clock Up is just reduced to a generic moderate speed buff. Video game balance and all that.
Name: Joseph Trembath Rider Name: Kamen Rider Point and Shooty Age: 29 Sex: Self-explanatory Starting Gashat: Bang Bang Shooting Skills and Abilities: He's pretty good at FPS games, though it is notable that he has never shot a gun in real life. He can type 100 words per minute. Additional Gashats: Gekitotsu Robots Appearance:
Personality: He's a creep. Background: Joseph is the average Joe who works an office job and watches anime on his spare time. Actually, anime takes up a good portion of his brain space, even at work. This has started since he was in High School, watching them on television, staying up late to catch the shows, then watching them on the internet. His first pay check, Joseph spent on an anime girl figure, and that's been what he's saved of his disposable income since. In addition, he played many video games, often retreating to his room to play them.
Joseph was always bad with women, believing them to not share his values, at least where he lived. At the age of 26, Joseph moved to Japan in hopes of meeting a real Japanese girl. To his ire, they weren't very much interested in him either. So, he retreated back into games, just in a new locale, with a new dead-end job.
I'll fill in the personality later, but for now...
Name: Suzume Takenaka Rider Name: Kamen Rider Turbo Age: 20 Sex: Female Starting Gashat: Bakusou Bike Skills and Abilities: Suzume has some knowledge about Kamen Riders and monsters, although this information isn't always 100% accurate.
As Turbo, her physical abilities are enhanced and she gains access to the Bike Gamer. Using the Jet Combat Gashat, she can become the level 3 Bike Combat Gamer, equipped with a jetpack and twin miniguns or attach the Combat Gamer robot to her bike as a booster. Additional Gashats: Jet Combat Appearance: She's about 5'2". Personality: Background: During her first year of high school, one of her classmates introduced her to the urban legends of the Kamen Riders. Since then, she has held a keen interest in them, to the point of maintaining a website dedicated to rumours and sightings. After graduating, she began studying at university for a future in journalism, hoping to get to the truth of these mysterious heroes. Naturally, she was one of the first in line for the release of Chronicle.
Name: Ryosuke Fujiwara Rider Name: Kamen Rider Drifter Age: 24 Sex: Male Starting Gashat: Bakusou Bike Additional Gashats: Insect Wars Kabuto Skills and Abilities: Bakusou Bike: Apart from being slightly faster than the other riders, the one using it can turn into a bike at will, being capable of moving without a rider.
Insect Wars Kabuto: Comes with the Kunai Gun and gives the user a masked mode which is a bulky armor surrounding the rider, making him much durable, but decreasing his speed. The Critical finisher is named Critical Cast Off, where the bulky armor ejects itself from the rider's body, scattering its parts in the area at a high velocity. What remains is a red suit resembling the one Kamen Rider Kabuto had and without the masked form the Rider gains an impressive boost in speed, though not on the level of Clock up. The boost in speed is used to overwhelm the opponent with fast strikes and finishing with a roundhouse kick.
Background: Ryosuke didn't really care about video games till a few years ago, preferring to use his free time participating in street races with his bike. An accident on a race would leave him with many broken bones, his bike damaged beyond repair and many months of recovery. While at the hospital his little brother gave him a new racing game that had just come out, Bakuso Bike telling him that it was safer to crash in a game than it was on real life. While originally reluctant to play it, Ryosuke quickly fell in love with it and became addicted to racing games, using the money he had saved while working as a mechanic to buy a racing game station instead of a new bike.]
Name: Takahiro Matsuoka Rider Name: Kamen Rider Salesman Age: 43 Sex: M Starting Gashat: Taddle Quest Skills and Abilities: 43 years life experience, an iron liver, and a mean baseball swing Additional Gashats: Famista
Personality: A bitter middle-aged man looking for some excitement; weak to pressure. Background: Takahiro used to have hopes and dreams, but then he got married and entered the workforce and they were crushed into a billion tiny pieces. He leads your basic salaryman lifestyle: Overworked, ill-appreciated, and severely lacking in aventure. One day, on the way home from a long day of soul-crushing office work, he ended up being harassed by a mysterious overweight man talking about how he would "fill the hole in his heart". He took the guy's business card in hopes that he would go away, and the next morning awoke to find a copy of Kamen Rider Chronicle in his mailbox. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Takahiro figured he may as well give it a go.
As a side note, is Famista Gamer an acceptable level 3, since Dan used the Namco gashats when making Chronicle?
Name: Yuuji Sakamoto Rider Name: Kamen Rider Minion M@ster_1999 Age: 18 Sex: Male Starting Gashat: Gururu Monsters Skills and Abilities: Yuuji is a pretty skilled artist. As Minion Master he can summon monsters of different strengths depending on his level. Additional Gashats: Magic The Wizard. Appearance:
Background: Despite having no interest in the urban legends and conspiracy theories surrounding them Yuuji always liked the creative designs that people made up for the monsters they claimed to have seen and often used them as inspiration for his drawings. When he heard about a game featuring those monsters and even a class that allows you to control them, he decided that he could at least check it out and bought Chronicle.
