I wouldn't even try double-characters because I know I'd leave one out more than the other and it would get annoying. Even with 110wpm its not how fast you can pump them out, it's your creativity and desire to take on the work and thoughts of TWO separate entities. But if you think you can do it... Just know you'll be criticized harsher.

I pour everything into a single character as it is. Trying to juggle two is like taking up another thread. I like the freshness of a single character per thread in the way one savors fine dining.
...that and people are just letting me get away with playing a jack of all trades (except mechanic) and I have no clue why.

Oh right, because the captain knows what an Aylv is and doesn't trust Kaite with touching anything too important.

Its not a dumb question, I just passed the hell out when I got home and didn't have time to respond! You're welcome to add things like that! The Monroe will have equipment and suits meant for diving into space if need be... All I ask is that these characters aren't invincible, and aren't always coming out on top of every situation they have, you know? It'll be more fun for the characters to have ups and downs, struggles... But you guys already know that haha

Do we have a policy on second characters? As I have an idea for a more combat oriented one I'd maybe like to use so I can be involved in that part as Well? Or is it 1 character per person?

For now: Keep it at one character, honestly I love the science/research character because it's way more practical to have on an Exploration Vessel, where combat is the last thing they result to when going to a new planet or meeting a new species XD

Science types like you and Nexus will probably be invaluable. For not only researching new aliens we may meet, but dissecting and looking for weak points in enemies to make killing them easier.

EDIT: I fully understand that @agentmanatee will fully command the science area of the ship. Doesn't mean Nexus can't provide insight.

Alright, as the IC is getting prepared for launch, I just wanna let you guys know where we are gonna start our adventure!

The Monroe has been informed by the Committee about a S.O.S. signal just outside the edge of the known galaxy. Not wanting to spend money on military units, they send out the Monroe because of their reputation of solving problems like this.

((The GM's and I decided to skip the whole "new recruits walk into the ship to be recruited" because it leaves a lot of people waiting, and limited on what they can post.))

In the middle of their flight to their mission, the Monroe gets pulled out of Hyperdrive by a group of pirates, and the Monroe is put into action! There'll be a more of a twist that'll be played with @Hawlin's post, so for now, keep to fighting some pirates, and I'll do my best to try and get characters engaged by having Raymond give orders to people.

After the IC is posted, and you don't think of how you want to start off, please ask one of the GM's and we'd be happy to help :D
