Sorry I've been extremely absent all. When last I posted I was heading into spring break of my final semester in college, and for the last two months after I've basically been decompressing from 6 years of mathematics. I'll try to be posting more frequently, and haven't just peaced out of this RP (entirely), but I'm also in the process of joining the US Navy and might end up disappearing again.

Sorry about being vague about the events of Mauville. I read so many posts and so many words and I still can't tell exactly what's going on, or where my character fits in all of it.

I'm just going to read through your post and I'll let you know of anything that sticks out. The most specifics you'll get about the situation would be my posts. The one that's written like a news broadcast would be the most similar to what would have been heard if not in the immediate area during the attack.

I'd like to take what you have in the IC and take it to the pad to make the necessary edits and then you can copy and paste it back into that post. I'd like to change the timeline in that post in order to fill in the missed time (it's been a couple days IC since your last post). So I can help you play out some of that with the NPCs and get some more progress with Sarah.

I am super hard to offend, because that's something I gotta choose to be, and its generally not worth the effort to hold on to.

However, I didn't really feel my post required any more editing than it already underwent. When I first made it I was trying to capitalize on the emotion of the conflict without the specificity of the timing because I didn't think my character was going to make it to see the direct aftermath. I figured we were ready to move on to the next part of the story.

I was more or less just waiting for a reply post rather than going through to completely rewrite my last post.

@LegionPothIX I wanted to add more to the conversation between Sarah and Jenny (cause I feel it didn't provide the accuracy for what I had in mind for her). Also, they wouldn't have been allowed to enter near Mauville, nevermind walk through it. So I wanted to give you some kind of alternative action to take, if you needed it.

@Phoenix Sorry I've been super busy with my parent's divorce. I've been helping my mom move her stuff out of my dad's house. They've been married for decades so there's a lot of stuff to move. I can't even begin to think about adding more conversation to a post that is now already a month old.

I feel a (personal) time skip might be in order.

So, I'd first like to apologize for being so absent lately.

Life's been real bad for me and it's come to a head until today. I've been struggling to keep my head just above water, but still almost drowning. This was a project I started at the beginning of winter and I'm so thankful it's survived this long. I hope we continue this adventure together for even longer.

However, I got news today that's going to make some big changes in my life, and for the better. My availability will not change, however. In fact, I'll likely be more active (thanks to a better outlook on life). For a few more days, though, I'm going to be focusing on getting this stage in my life set up so I can start the successful future I've always dreamed of.

So just know I'm not neglecting you. I've been neglecting myself. I'll keep you all updated and I hope to get this thing really going again. I still have big plans for all the fodder characters you've all brought to this RP.

And I'd like to take the time to express how truly grateful I am to have played with all of you. You've all been one of the very few things that bring me excitement and satisfaction. It's truly been a life saver to have this one RP keep me going and looking forward to the next day.
