Name: James Carlyle Age: 21 Gender: Male Corporation: UNISEC Rank: Corporal (Cpl)
Physical Description: 5'11 tall with an Isomorphic build, strenuous physical training evident by his muscle structure. Black feathered wing tattooed onto the right pectoral muscle. Gunshot scar to upper left leg, blade scar on lower left arm, burn scar to right side of his neck. Psychological profile: Sharp and Intelligent with a calm and analytical mindset, James is able to adapt to most situations fairly quickly and can solve most mental and logical problems with little difficulty, but finds it difficult to connect to people on an emotional level. Naturally adept with machines and technology, he instead chose to serve as part of UNISEC due to family commitments. He presents himself as approachable and helpful wherever possible, but tends to isolate himself when off-duty and his attitude can become littered with sarcasm or blunt comments should his patience or temper wear thin. At his limit, his temper is explosive but short-lived, often in the form of brief outbursts of verbal shouting or physical violence, the latter more commonly aimed towards inanimate objects than living beings.
Educational Background: Raised to an average middle class family, James progressed easily through all levels of education at a high level, a feat attributed to his keen intelligence and sufficient focus despite losing his father aged 17. He discovered a natural affinity for understanding both mechanical and electrical technology and a future career with Solexus seemed to be on the horizon until he instead enlisted with UNISEC. The reason for this largely to do with the influence of his late father. Adam Carlyle was a Lieutenant in the UNISEC Third Division before he was honourably discharged on medical grounds following complications with a previous combat wound. When he finally succumbed to the injury, James desired to honour his memory by following in his footsteps and took his chance after turning 18 to enlist with UNISEC.
Service Record: Having only served for 3 years, James isn't the most experienced of soldiers but he has a fair few number of deployments. He saw action in the [REDACTED] Campaign and was present for the Battles of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. It was his actions during the later that earned him an early promotion at just 20, as he and two other Marines managed to secure and rescue the surviving crew of the Libertaria, a HSR1 downed earlier in the battle and behind enemy lines. Of the 97 listed crew, 54 were thought to have survived the crash and the recovery teams returned to FOB Vajra having lost just 3 crew members and 2 marines despite the projected casualty rating of 67%. At present, confirmed kills are estimated to be 214% that of average for his age. Under Consideration for Specialist Marksman Training and potential advancement to Second Division.

When all is quiet, she can sometimes become restless which is why she usually occupies herself with various data management tasks when not in general quarters.
Educational Background: Aris Foste, daughter of Julianna and Shaun Foste, was born and raised on a UNISEC station in orbit of one of the core worlds of the faction. Her father played a serious role in her early life, encouraging her to adopt the military life, thus leading to her enrollment into the UNISEC Military Academy until the age of 18 where she showed promising skill in tactics.
Service Record(UNISEC)/Employment History(non-UNISEC): By the age of 23, Aris had been put into the role of an assistant tactician aboard a small capital ship where she demonstrated her capabilities as a leader. One day however, after returning her taskforce from a patrol mission, she received a letter bearing the mark of high ranking officials in UNISEC, requesting for her to volunteer in an experimental program that they believed she showed promise for. After meeting with said officials, she had decided to join in the program, after all, she was not necessarily tied down by anything or anyone. She was then sent off to the UNISEC Research Station of Aleroth where she would partake as a member of the Engram Program.

Physical Appearance: Alexia stands at 6'1 (1.8 meters) with a slim yet well-toned build. A layer of muscle built up from decades of military service. Her body is riddled with gunshot wounds and scars from various injuries she had taken over her years of service. Most are faded and difficult to see, while some are more noticeable. The most being a large scar on her left shoulder. Alexia has a tattoo on her back of a Hammer, memento for one of her old units.
Alexia in the terms of personality varies considerably, depending if she is or is not on the field of battle and if she is on or off duty.
On Duty: While on duty, Alexia prefers to go by her last name of Mio and is quick to anger when people call her Alexia, provided she has told them. Otherwise, she will quickly correct them and let it slide. On duty she can not tolerate those who don’t pull their weight. Will make an effort to make them do so. Alexia is known to follow most orders without question. Although if she can see what she thinks is a better way she not afraid to speak her mind and argue her point. Even if it gets her into trouble. Motivated by the fact she is aware a bad plan can get her killed.
On the battlefield: While on the field of battle Alexia acts like any hardened soldier. Claim when under fire and unfazed when seeing a comrade die at the hands of the enemy. In battle, Alexia shows no mercy and anyone that is willing to engage her or her squadmates will be put down. She will also do what is needed to survive. Short of turning on her those she calls a friend or those in her squad. Aware that to survive on the battlefield one must work those around them. To those, she does call a friend or is her squadmate she will go to fair lengths to ensure their survival even if it means putting herself a little at risk. She, however, will not sacrifice herself to save another, even if ordered to. It has been noted that Alexia seems to enjoy combat, almost itching for it at times. Alexia as also stated in the heat of battle is where she feels the most confortable.
Off duty: While off duty Alexia tends to show somewhat friendly laid back personality. A woman who is content, enjoying the company of anyone willing to give her the time of day. In the company of other Alexia likes amuse herself with games or merely talking swapping war stories or offering advice with whomever is keeping er company. Although she enjoys the company of other, she is slow to open up about more personal matters and call people her friend or comrade. Although she makes an exception with her age. The quickest means to befriend Alexia is to one beat her in a fight or fight alongside her on the battlefield and survive. Once befriend Alexia makes for a loyal friend and ally willing to help in most matters even if it gets her into a little trouble. At time Alexia does prefer to be on her own. During this times she can bee seen reading or doing something to keep her self distracted.
It is noted on her record she tends to get into fights with those insult her friends or squadmates or just in general anger her. Alexia quick to use her fist whenever she is angry.
In her off duty hours, Alexia is bit of a free spirit doing what she likes when she likes. Not caring if she gets in a little trouble. She also gets angry if people call her Mio on her off duty hours, much like when she is on duty and she get angry when called Alexia. To avoid this she advises people to ask her is she's on or off duty if they unsure.
The sole daughter of a member of UNISEC’s upper management, as a child Alexia wanted for nothing and received the very best education. All the while she was allowed to do what she wanted when she wanted. With little discipline from either of her parents. To them, she was the perfect daughter who could do no wrong. As Alexia grew older, she became aware of these and often took advantage of the fact. Sneaking out to all hours of the night doing whatever she pleased be it legal or not. Alexia aware to keep her parents happy, all she had to do was achieve high grades in school. So she did just that. Gifted with a high natural IQ Alexia found it easy to achieve high marks with only a minimal amount of effort. So by day she good rich girl. By night she quickly became thug. Taken petty crime as it gave her rush.
For years this continued and it was it was only into Alexia’s mid teens did her parents suspect something was up with daughter when law enforcement contacted them informing them she’d been charged with assault and breaking and entering. Her father used his money to buy his daughter freedom and cover the incident up worried it would tarnish his own reputation. From then on he tried to tow the line with his daughter. To make her the daughter he thought her to be. But it was too little too late.
Despite her fathers and mothers effort to stop their daughter. Alexia still managed to slip out, the behaviour escalating to point where Alexia didn’t bother to come home. Enjoying herself too much on the streets getting into mischief and other things, to say the least. No matter how many time her father had law enforcement bring her home, it was only a week or two later until she slipped back out. Her father covering up anything her daughter did, to avoid it affecting his reputation.
This lasted until Alexia turned 18 and she got arrested again. Again her father bailed her out and had the indecent covered up. However, this time having had enough and finally, come to realise he could not control his daughter. He forced her to enlist into the military. Hope it would drum some discipline into his wayward child. Hoping his daughter would end up with role that placed her away from anything might require combat and come home once her time she’d owe was her time was served. To avoid any anything linking back to him he had Alexia change her last name to Mio her mother maiden name.
Alexia completed basic training, with flying colours and was assigned to a unit in the Third Division as basic infantry. She spent her first year at bases in the heart of the Confederacy most of the time on punishment detail. For doing various minor infractions. She was listed a trouble maker and it was hoped when served her time she would leave the military and be someone else problem. Alexia’s second year was spent on tour on the outer most edges of the Confederacy. It was here she got her fast taste of combat versing local pirates. Only small skirmishes none of them noteworthy. But it was here Alexia got a taste for battle, and although frightened her at first, she quickly found it to be something she enjoyed. Alexia opting to stay when her time was served and started to act more like solider when on duty.
When her time was served Alexia instead of leaving like her father wished she applied to join Third Division Assault. Passing the entrance test, she went back into training. She completed her training a year later and was assigned to a unit with in Third Division Assault
By the time Reformation started Alexia was already a member of the Third Division Assault. Having been with them for two years she was yet to see anything more than a few skirmishes. So when it came to fighting in a proper war, she was not entirely prepared for what that meant.
When UNISEC split in two Alexia sided with reformists seeing them as the legitimate side. Seeing loyalist as traitors. It was in the mere days into the Reformation Alexia saw proper battle. Her unit deployed across many words near the Hanseatic Rift. Leading assaults and sent to establish beachheads. It was during these battles Alexia watched many around her die, she learned to stay claim even when under heavy fire. To work those around her to survive and that mercy had no place on the battlefield. Combined with her enjoyment for battle, she quickly became a truly skilled soldier. Her kill ratio was high, and she survived across many battlefields where many died. She learned to not make friends quickly for it would only pain her when that died, and in the end, they always died. To her the war just battle after battle with little break. It came to point at times she failed to even enjoy battle. She just wanted to survive. It was during this time Alexia earned multiple commendations for valour.
A year into the war her ability as a soldier was noticed by the Second Division. Deemed a possible candidate to join the Power Armored Infantry regiments. While recovering from an injury, she was approached, and Alexia eagerly accepted, thinking it be a good change of pace and much-needed break from the front. Again she was sent back into training, she spent a year being drill and pushed to her limits. The Second Division demanding more from her even during their basic training.
Alexia passed training and was posted to a new unit. Being deployed back out to the front several hours later. Once again Alexia found herself fighting near the Hanseatic Rift.
Again she saw repeated deployment across multiple worlds. Again earning several commendations for Valour. Even earn promotions to Corporal and eventually Sargent. In what little down time she got Alexia still continued to find herself getting into trouble. Most often when she had too much down time. Although now it was more for picking fights with those insulted her squadmates or her.
Eventually her unit was pulled from the front. Battered and depleted. The survivors given R&R, Alexia now Mio when on duty. Changed by the events of battle. Her unit was reinforced and sent back out to the front where Alexia kept serving repeating the cycle, fighting to eventually pulled to rest. Even as war settled down. Alexia’s unit always found itself being deployed somewhere in the Confederacy. At the age of 52 Alexia underwent her first lot of gene therapy to make herself younger and continued to remain fit for field duty. Where after the therapy and break she continued to serve, enjoying her time on the battlefield it having become a place she was the most comfortable.
At 84 she was told she need more genie therapy to remain on active duty. After which at Alexia’s request be transferred off the front. He request was granted and she was transferred to a newly formed squad assigned to the Yoshino.
Combat Training(UNISEC)/Work Skills(non-UNISEC): Heavy Weapons Urban Combat Ship Boarding Aerial Assault Power Armour Training Close Quarters Combat Anti Armour Training Basic Structural Engineering. Hazardous Environment Combat Training.
Physical Appearance: Stands at 4 foot tall with a large scar along her back. She is pale white because of hardly being in the sun.
Psychological profile: If she is told to shoot she'll shoot no matter who is going to be on the receiving end of the weapon as she doesn't like going against the orders of her superior. Though she also is calm and quiet almost to the point of being considered mute as she grew up learning it was best to be quiet and follow orders.
Educational Background: Olympus Mons - Once she was enrolled she went about learning to work with ballistic weapons more specifically long range weapons such as sniper rifles and as a secondary education she took classes to know how to use the weapons she studied about. However she never stopped her education as she is still working for Solexus Engineering, she trained under UniSec to learn to use these weapons.
Service Record/Employment History: Solexus Engineering - She started working for the combat testing section for ballistic weapons around 25 years old, however throughout her work with them UniSec made several offers to make her a quarter master for ships and such.
Combat Training/Work Skills: She's highly skilled in using sniper rifles with a high degree of accuracy. She also is skilled in using small drones for scouting and as spotters.
Standing firm at 5'6" and with a lithe profile, at first glance the woman gives little hint at the three centuries of combat experience that has honed her body into a discreet weapon. Most apparent and lending to that image of anything but a soldier, is the complete lack of scarring across her body. Only the lightest hint of a tan on her pale skin would suggest a career of warfare, which is immediately whisked away at the sight of her well maintained womanly figure. Perhaps the only distinctive trait that would link her to her duty, is the pinkish red hair that is common among the women of Pomerania.
Psychological profile:
Rather typical for one of the First Division, Genevieve Alleron is all at once a cunning and sharp-minded woman constantly seeking an edge over every enemy both existing and potential; while at the same time aloof and eccentric beyond what one would expect from a supposedly professional soldier. Her sense of duty keeps the two sides from conflicting, always defaulting to the more logical when there is any chance something may have an impact on the mission at hand. Outside of combat however, she is known to be significantly more lax on station, even when still on duty, and more prone to indulging in the casual. She draws the line at anything that would either endanger the mission or personnel, as well as having a cold view of the alien. That view in particular comes from her Pomeranian heritage, in which from an early age she was taught to despise non-humans. Her time with the Reformist fleet has done much to temper the outright hatred for aliens into something a little more agreeable, though she is still rather firm on her stance of no aliens or alien-sympathizers on her ship.
Educational Background:
Born on the militant world of Hinterpommern, Genevieve was surrounded by the old aristocratic elite of UNISEC for her entire childhood and benefited well from their tutelage. Like every other child from her home nation, she was enrolled into the Academy of Military Arts and Sciences as soon as she was old enough to attend school. While there she only scored average marks in combat applications, but showed a keen mind for the tactical. From there she was allowed to attend any of the secondary schools, choosing to second her Strategic History and Fleet Doctrine programs with something a little less duty oriented. It was there that she was able to exercise her passions for the more artistic, engaging in several courses of dance as well as music. That all ended at the age of eighteen however, as once her primary education was done she was enrolled within the Third Division Star Navy as an ensign.
Once within the Third Star Navy, her sense of duty firmly kicked in, and Genevieve dedicated herself to her work as all from her homeworld are expected to do. That said, most of her first tour was spent on uneventful patrols of the Hanseatic Rift, fondly referred to as "Stellar babysitting" by those who work the sector. Rarely did anything more than stray pirates come into conflict with her ship, and even then a majority backed off after the first shot across the bow. It was during her second tour of duty that she finally saw real combat, by that time having obtained a captaincy within the Third and serving Isaac Reiksguard's 15th Battlegroup. Despite their victory during the War for the Twin Crowns, and the concessions that had been made with the treaty, the Ankarran Grand Duchy had been making noise along the southern borders with ever increasing patrols against the Free Sector. Genevieve was sent along with the rest of the 15th in order to provide a more firm warning that the PSC would intervene if the sector was in danger, but no one at the time had expected anything more than saber rattling from both sides.
Such was the shock when the Ankarran fleet opened fire across the DMZ, effectively breaking the truce and recommencing hostilities. Genevieve's ship was among those hit with the first volley, taking critical damage to the engines leaving her dead in the void. It was from there that she was given the choice to either go down fighting, or send the surrender signal in order to save the crew. What she chose was neither, instead communicating her plan to command and the other stricken vessels, then shutting down everything but life-support and the charge reactor, effectively painting her cruiser as destroyed with all hands. For six hours she waited in the frigid cold and minimal oxygen, until finally the Ankarran fleet began to move across the DMZ towards Free Sector space. That was when she and a dozen other ships initiated the charge-reactors that jump-started their ships, and opened fire with everything they had. Awaiting just such a signal, Isaac's remaining fleet hot-jumped from a nearby system and systematically decimated the Ankarrans. Despite the losses during what later became known as the "Free Sector Defiance", the Ankarran Grand Duchy officially declared it the responsibility of rogue elements within their military, and that a purge after the battle had removed all such parties, but the PSC was afforded nothing further from the incident other than a promise of reduced patrols along the DMZ.
Following that combat action and an official award ceremony on Terra, Genevieve quietly completed her second tour and returned home to serve in the defence fleet for a period at the behest of King Sebastian Desrosiers. As would be expected, she again saw little combat in this role, but it did serve as an opportunity to further her learning and pursue more personal interests in her off months. When she finally did return to UNISEC fleet command after twenty years with the Pomeranian Defense Fleet and already one rejuvenation treatment, she met with Isaac Reiksguard himself and once more joined with his battlefleet. This time it was under the Second Division, and she had been given a battleship on war-footing.
During the years leading up to 2100 Corporate Era, alien sentiment had been growing along the regions bordering the Forbidden Zone, as well as whispers that hostile aliens were gearing to strike at the Confederacy. Such things were rather common throughout Human history, but only when the threat seemed genuine did UNISEC react accordingly. The orders from command were clear, that the 78th Battlegroup were to enter into Union Space along the Western Fringe, and to cleanse the entire region of aliens and alien sympathizers. What they found when entering into the region was worse than mere rumor, entire systems either under the direct control of alien governments, or puppeted by their Human allies. It took a year just to break the first blockade, putting Genevieve's tactical skills to the test in each of their daily engagements. Her ship nearly broke across the keel when a beam weapon strafed across the battlelines and killed ten thousand servicemen in the initial blow alone. For the duration of the seventy year campaign across two-hundred and thirty-eight worlds she fought and bled for the ideals of not just the Confederacy, but also of her family and her people. In the end, she was decorated as a hero alongside the forty-eight other surviving captains and Isaac Reiksguard came to be known as the "Stormsurge" for the ruthless execution of the campaign.
While Genevieve did return to Hinterpommern once more, this time it was of her own volition, and to take a step away from UNISEC for some time in order to clear her head. Like many who had served on the frontlines during the Second Fringe War, she suffered from a rare affliction generally associated with those on the border patrols and during the "Old Wars". Most simply called it "xenoshock" for what it was, having looked directly into the face of the great enemy and come out alive. During this period she took things a little more lax, teaching at the Academy during the school months and taking up civilian flight courses on her vacation hours. As the years passed, she became involved with the Royal Guard and taught the defence fleet advanced battle tactics with her Second Division combat experience. In time, she became the commander of the Royal Fleet, though it took significant convincing on the part of the King and UNISEC had started making regular offers of reemployment to her. The offers didn't stop for a few years of course, as some felt she had simply taken the position to leverage a better contract. Yet for her, it was more a way of settling down and finding some sense of normalcy once again.
It wasn't until the year the Reformation rocked the core worlds that she was approached again by UNISEC. For decades she had ruthlessly drilled the Pomeranian fleets in combat tactics, expanded the controlled systems by eight, and quelled the pirates of the Hanseatic Rift through sheer threat of force alone. When many would have lost their edge by "going national", she had refined hers and reformed an old and aristocratic military into one that would have made UNISEC proud to wear their colors. Even still, despite showing a face of strength to all around her, she still held doubts lingering from the Fringe War. When the last offer came, it was not something so direct as those before which were promising this or that, and trying to appeal to her vanity. This one was hand-written by Isaac Reiksguard, one who had written her before periodically after the war as he did for most of his captains, and it was simply a request to come back to help him right the wrongs they had committed. She not only accepted his offer, by signed the life contract with UNISEC that placed her into the First Division Star Navy.
The last sixty years of war against fellow UNISEC soldiers would have been just as rough as the Fringe War, were it not for knowing that this time, she is truly doing the right thing. Even still, a large part of her knows she turned her back on her people by doing so, and that eventually she would have to come back to Hinterpommern. Not as a returning hero, but as a conqueror. For now, she serves with the Rapid Response Fleet to continue safeguarding the borders as best they can, but those thoughts linger in the back of her mind.
