*The figure nods to Jillian as she introduces herself, and politely bows, then returns to her previous posture after a few seconds.*
Figure: Zeta. Do you know of anyone with more information regarding the storm? Spawning of monsters is a general occurence.
*She now holds her spear in her hand and leans on it slightly. Despite her best effort, her stomach grumbles from neglect, which makes her previously normal cheeks redden slightly with embarrassment.*

*Togan is electrocuted, but it seems to have little effect on him. What DOES is the tar, which bogs him down significantly*
Togan: RAAGH!
*He struggles with the tar, trying to free himself so that he can attack again*

*Horus crashes through the trees, headed towards the room. Though still covered in tar, Jillian would almost certainly recognize him*

*Lecter nods again*
Lecter: Just keep an eye out, there's already been a few Devils in these woods. Not that they'd stand out as the only monsters around here, anymore.

*major hears the swearing eventually and looks round for a source*

What is going on here.
Sounds like raiders. Show ya selves.

*looks round main room unslinging the plasma rifle and goes searching for the noise thinking raiders have been pulled through the storm too*
(live fire good as anything to calibrate a weapon, maybe can get a message back for evacuation if true..)

*Barbarians are resting, and Nonac keeping a eye on Furia*

*Sasha thinks Lecter is crazy or at least miss informed, but she keeps this to herself.*
Sasha: We will be ready. So where do we go from here?
*She looks up into the sky, and stares defiantly at the storm.*
*John shrugs.*
John: Can go back to the room, maybe make sure Horus made it back in one piece... or we can go back into the maelstrom.
*He sighs, and starts cleaning his tar encrusted quad barrel.*

*The hunched creature walks up to Togan, unperturbed by the tar.*
Creature: Dal toi.
*It lightly places it's clawed hand on Togan's struggling head, and it's jaws makes a semblance of a grin. Suddenly a series of tentacles erupt from it's hand, and begin to burrow their way into Togan's brain matter.*
*The dragon watches with disinterest.*

*Jillian bows in return, and shakes her head.*
Jillian: I cry your pardon but I do not know what caused this storm, or what is keeping it going. I know of a tet the ventured out to inspect the storm. The others here... seem uncaring... or at least caught up in their own problems.
*She hears Zeta stomach growl, and smiles warmly at her.*
Jillian: You must be hungry, come inside, and let's get you something to eat.
*She starts to lead but stops, her smile fades, and her tone sounds slightly on edge.*
Jillian: I warn you to be careful here... some of the inhabitants here divulge in debaucheries that are outlawed in most lands.

*Zeta nods, her face beckoming steely as well at the news of HERESY. She opens her mouth to say something, but her spear glows a bright red to warn her of Horus coming out of the woods, due to it perceiving him as a threat. She spins on her feet with finesse rarely seen outside of choreographed movie scenes, and points her spear square at Horus' chest. The spear itself vibrates with energy, both magical, and generated.*
Zeta: Get back!
*Both directed at Jillian and Horus, cause she gonna start making things go boom.*

*Lecter shrugs*
Lecter: I have business in the woods. Storm or not, it needs to be done. But if you want to make it to the Room, I could help in escorting you.

*Sasha frowns.*
Sasha: Business? Guessing a devil or something? We can join you.
*John sighs, and his shoulders sag slightly.*
John: Can't we go home.

Jillian: It's okay this taheen isn't dangerous!
*Jillian frowns at Horus's condition.*
Jillian: What happened to you?

*Hanna tightens her grip slightly*

Hanna: ... I killed y-you. That's why I-I'm the last thing you remember... Your friends s-shot Iris, so I K-killed them to...

*Hanna seems slightly saddened as she speaks*

*Zeta raises an eyebrow at Jillian being nice to Horus, and lowers her spear. Although she's still super jumpy, she tries easing it up a bit so she can make an impression.*
Zeta: If you say so, Jillian of Gilead.
*She then waits for Horus to explain, and she doesn't bother introducing herself yet.*

*Sydney stares at Hanna in complete disbelief.*
Sydney: Wot.
*She looks incredulous*
Sydney: If you killed me, then how come I'm not dead!?
*Iris shakes her head*
Iris: We're... not sure... Hanna said you just...came back. My guess is probably some form of Necromancy. We need to see your blood.
*Sydney growls aggressively*
Sydney: Oh you'll see blood alright! Let me up!
*She starts struggling to sit up*

*Togan roars but it's quickly cut off as a muted cry of pain as his nose and ears are invaded*
*He grasps at the creature and tries to claw at it as he gurgles in agony*
*His brains don't feel like a normal being's, they're cold and lifeless*

*Horus takes a brief pause at the raised spear*
Horus: Woah! I'm not here to cause harm! Not to you at least.
*He looks at Jillian*
Horus: Tar-lightning-void dragon. Explain later. Where's Iris, is she okay?! John said she'd been shot!
*His tone is that of worry as he speaks, and he seems on the edge. Worried for his lover's safety*

*Jillian frowns at Horus's meager explanation, but decides to let him tell her later.*
Jillian: Your wife is fine, as far as I know. She is with the cannibal girl last I heard, I think trying to dispose of some corpses.
*She looks coldly at Horus as she say this.*
Jillian: Such acts in my land would result in death, so let's be thankful we are not there.

*The creature frowns at Togan resistance, and watches him scratch fervently at the energy shield. The small tentacles quickly devour his brain, and chew away everything from his spinal cord to his eyes. Red cracks of energy spark around the creauture, as it drains Togan's mind, or what is left of it.*

*Hanna hisses at Sydney but lets her sit up, she has her wings in between Sydney and Iris encase Sydney tries anything*

Hanna: You try s-something funny and I'll put you back into t-the ground.

*Togan howls in agony and tries to remove the tentacles by yanking and clawing at them*

*Horus looks relieved*
Horus: Thank Danu...
*He frowns at her then sighs*
Horus: Hanna is... Well it's a long story, but let's just say it's not by choice her diet is what it is.
*He turns to open the door*
Horus: I'm going to see Iris, get cleaned up, then I can explain what I know about that storm.
*He nods once to Zeta*
Horus: You and I can be introduced later. Good day.
*He heads inside to find Iris*

*Sydney rubs her arms where they were pinning and glares at Hanna*
Sydney: An' here I was thinking you was just a little innocent f&$&ing kid...

*Zeta nods back at Horus, and keeps a placid face. Her grip on her spear slightly tightens as he passes, and in response the spear glows slightly brighter.*
Zeta: We will indeed.
*Her stomach grumbles again, which dispels any notion of her being badass. Her cheeks also redden again.*
Zeta: Umm... would it be too much to ask to be pointed towards your inn?

Jillian: Yes. Most psychopaths don't have control of there faculties, the difference is in my land we end their suffering... not encourage it.
*She watches Horus walk past, then turns back to Zeta.*
Jillian: Yes of course I cry your pardon, please follow me!
*She starts walking towards the room, and leads the way towards the kitchen.*

*The hunched creature growls in annoyance at Togan's struggling, and applies enough pressure to smash his skull.*

*Togan's head is smashed and his body crumples to the ground. His mind lashes out at Karma*
Togan: You help! Or I not be alive to be your slave! Need body to work! Stop it!

*Horus simply shakes his head*
Horus: Don't comment on things you don't understand.
*He doesn't seem upset or angry at Jillian, just vaguely disappointed, still concerned over his lover more than anything else*

Zeta: Kitchen? Okay...
*She follows silently, gazing around the interior of the room with a very blank and serious expression.*
Zeta: I have not seen anything like this.
*She also frowns at Horus' response, partly because she disagrees with him, but also cause she wants to meet the cannibal.*

Jillian: I only speak the truth.
*Jillian knows the face of her father, and just simply assumes that Taheen are comfortable with cannibalism.*
Jillian: So you will have to deal with it... Taheen.
*She turns towards Zeta, and nods.*
Jillian: Yes this place is fairly advanced. You must come from a land that lacks electricity.
*Leads them into the kitchen, and quickly starts to dish up some gunslinger burritos.*

*A darkness hooks into Togan's essence, and laughter booms around his ephemeral form.*
Creature: There is no escape... your very essence I shall consume... Now let's learn about your master...
*The creature starts to go through Togan's memories, and starts to learn about Karma.*

*Togan's veins blacken, as his genome is broken down and studied.*

*Zeta frowns at yet another unfamiliar word, and makes a mental note to study the room for a couple purposes. She moves over to Jillian and watched her make the burritos until her weapon flashes several times.*
Zeta: Oh yeah, almost forgot. Survey.
*The spear blinks once more, then slips out of Zeta's hand and floats around the room on its own.*
Zeta: It's recording data for me. Nothing of note, I assure you.

*Somewhere in the forest a tree is cleaved in two by a massive scythe, wielded by a just-as-massive black armoured figure. He moves along the forest, until he gets to the site where Zeta dropped her cloak, picks up the coat, and grins from underneath his helmet.*
Black Armoured Figure: Found you little one.
*He then starts tracking Zeta's trail, leaving his own trail of destruction in his wake. His scythe vibrates in what can only be described as anticipation as it gives off a dull purple glow.*
