*Xan watches at the washing of dishes. She looks between Zeta and Jillian then hops off the counter and nods to Jillian*
Xan: Food good. Thank you.
*She nods to both Zeta and Jillian*
Xan: You... not bad humans...
*She looks at Jillian doing the dishes for a moment before stepping over and starting to wipe what she washes. Despite not knowing a thing about modern tech, she seems to know how to do dishes well enough*
*She looks over at the pair and feels something she hasn't in a long time, happiness and safety*

*Taboo crawls stealthily through a vent until she hears Xan's voice. She snarls to herself and tries to get closer to it*

*Sasha stares at Lecter unable to think of a response to "left hand of hell," so she just paves right past that.*
Sasha: Er... we will be able to handle... it... or him.
*John silently giggles, and shrugs.*
John: We should be able to handle him! And hey we may get to fight the praetorian too, two birds one stones!
*Sasha nods, and her grip tightens slightly on her lance.*

*Jillian smiles, and shakes her head to Zeta.*
Jillian: No it's fine! I can handle these-
*She looks slightly on edge with Xan sudden help, but keeps her cool.*
Jillian: Thankee sai... for your help.

*Hanna grabs Sydney's arm as she tries to leave*

Hanna: H-hey. You didn't t-think I would just let you leave d-did you? N-not after what you did. P-plus you just t-told me you want to r-rob the place... You're not leaving.

*Hanna briefly looks up at Zeta's spear and tilts her head*

*Zeta feels bad that she hasn't helped, so she just makes a mental note to do something to make it up to Jill and Xan when she can, but at the moment she just leans back against the table and watches them both work, remaining silent because there isn't much to be said.*

*The spear keeps on surveying the room.*

*Lecter nods once*
Lecter: Any other creatures we should be aware of? This storm is bringing new faces, and I haven't found any of them agreeable.

*In Lecter's room, a red portal rips open. The armored figure, Be'lak, steps out and looks around*
My own blood, bedding where a mortal would lay. He should be reminded of his home.
*He flicks his wrist and lightning shoots from his fingertips, going into an outlet. The lights in the Room flicker briefly, and Be'lak smirks underneath his hood*

*Xan nods once to Jillian*
Xan: You make good food, feed me. Debt to be paid, so I help. Fair?
*She finishes wiping everything and looks at Jillian, then starts slightly at the lights. Her eyes shift to yellow cat's eyes for a moment before going back to their normal brown*
Xan: What was that?

*Taboo keeps creeping through vents towards the sound of Xan's voice*

*Sydney tries to wrench her arm free, glaring at Hanna*
Sydney: Let go of me you toss-
*She gasps as Horus finishes hugging and explaining to Iris, walks over to Sydney and lifts her up by her throat*
Horus: You're leaving. Now.
*He walks towards the door to the room as Iris smiles after him then looks down at herself.*
Iris: Oh dear...
*She's been covered in tar from hugging Horus. She looks over at Hanna apologetically*
Iris: Hanna I'm going to go get cleaned up okay? Do you need anything before I go?
*She looks around at the lights flickering but shakes it off*

*Hanna lets go of Sydney as Horus grabs her. She then looks up at Iris and smiles. She doesn't even notice the light flicker*

Hanna: N-no I'm fine. Y-you go get c-clean.

*She waves Iris off before walking into the main room, she takes a seat on one of the couches and watches the TV. She seems more happy then normal as she sways from side to side.*

*She hums and takes a sip from her water bottle*

*Walter heads back towards the room unsatisfied with his closer inspection of the clouds*

*Zeta tilts her head at the lights turning off as well, but just assumes the hidden candles are flickering. Despite that, she mentally calls her spear back to her just in case.*
Zeta: Likely nothing. Do not worry.
*She also noticed Xan's cat-eyes, but it's nothing she hasn't seen before.*

*Be'lak waits in Lecter's Room, listening for something*
*The Devil nods once as he hears a distant crackle of electricity, and the fluttering of wings*
A small taste of Hell.

*Horus takes Sydney outside the room and literally punts her as far as he can before going to get cleaned up*

*Iris smiles at Hanna*
Iris: Alright dear, I shouldn't be too long.
*She goes off to shower*

*Xan frowns*
Xan: Still... Not like that...
*From the top of the room, in a grate for an airvent, two green eyes look down on the trio as Taboo watches and schemes*

*major looks over as the raider is thrown out the door and notices the tar covered beings size and mass is drfenitrly not human*

*notices power flicker*
Must be dodgy power generator.

Giant man... You seen any other bandits in the woods?
Raiders, probably chemical addled, dengerates and armoured out of scraps of metal and scavenged uniforms.

That or feral bastial humanoids. Flesh back to muscle, they attract to radiation or nuclear materials?

I'm wondering of this storm has a... Route to my world.

*the two Barbarians start to get up with Nonac carefully checking Furia bandages and making sure her battle wounds are healing, applying a herbal balm to prevent infection *

*The armored figure stands next to Sydney, seemingly appearing out of nowhere*

*Be'lak extends his hand, letting a necklace dangle through his fingertips. Instead of a jewel, a silver bat medallion hangs off the end, with eyes of ruby*

*The Room's lights flicker again, this time more violently, and some outlets begin to spark*

*Major looks round and grips the plasma rifle fairly tightly looking for a source as something less normal going on*

Something is up... This is definitely not normal for a electrical system...

*Barbarians jump slightly in there room so power starts sparking. *

*Horus looks down at the Major*
Horus: What? Bandits, I'm not sure, but if there are more then I'll send them away.]

*In the bathroom where Iris is taking a shower the plug by the sink starts sparking. Iris reaches out blindly for a towel, then one of the little arcs of electricity zaps her. She cries out as energy surges through her body*

*Sydney plows through several trees, coming to a stop, broken and battered in a bush.*
Sydney: Urghh.... Wait... Why doesn't this hurt!?
*She looks around at her body, broken and twisted in several places*
Sydney: AH! WHAT THE F#^@!
*She watches black blood ooze from her leg, where the bone is sticking out from the flesh, not noticing the Armored figure just yet*
*When she does she looks up at him*
Sydney: DO I F#&*ING LOOK LIKE I F&*$ING WANT A F($&ING NECKLACE RIGHT NOW?!?!

*Major nods*

Ghouls... Radiation effect, once human they slowly lost there hair, there skin, then eventually some lost there minds turning into ferals.

They exist only on basic instincts, upper brain function is gone.
Often group instinctively in packs.

If you see them it might be a sign this storm is impossiblely some kinda... Portal effect. God knows how... Or what it is.

*Major looks to the red lighting glow of storms and gets a bad feeking*

*Be'lak hisses sharply, but doesn't move from his position*

*He tries to slip away, but really can't do that as a 9ft bird-headed man covered in tar*

*heads off to library to research the area and maybe see if any history of storms or other unnatural events. *

*Hanna looks up at the lights flicker again and frowns*

Hanna: (That can't be good.)

*She stands up and looks around as she hears faint sparking. She knows something is wrong with the power but has no idea of how to fix it. But she knows that one of the current residence probably knows what is wrong*

*Walter walks into the main room after the lights flicker. He is still deep in thought mumbling to himself with quiet click and chattering sounds*

*A large cloud of black smoke pours from under the doorway of the bathroom Iris is using, inside she's trying to see through it, and coughing a lot.*
Iris: Ack! Ugh! What *Cough cough* HANNA! HORUS! SOMEBODY!

*Horus is too big for the showers and instead went to find a hose*
