Alien Energy Mutation: Red Star was empowered by unknown alien energies that have caused chain reactions within his molecular structure, altering his physical abilities and reflexes. Over time, these abilities have changed and he has gone from being an incredibly fast and strong being into one with an array of powers. The physical changes enable him to withstand environmental extremes, including the hostile conditions in deep space and naturally, radiation.
Energy Projection: Red Star generates immense radioactive energy in the form of red blasts and explosions. He can project a fire-like beam anywhere from his body. This energy replicates the effects that a Kryptonian would feel under a red sun.
Heat Generation: His body gives off more heat than normal. In the cold, steam can always be seen rising off his skin.
Flight: Red Star technically doesn't fly, but instead projects his energy beams downward and uses the concussive force to propel him through the air. He hasn't quite mastered literally flying in the air.
Superhuman Strength: Since his mutation, Red Star hasn't tested his strength on anything heavier than a small car. He doesn't know the limit of his strength.
Superhuman Durability: Red Star's near invulnerability allows him to survive blows from super-powered beings.
Superhuman Stamina: Red Star's body produces less fatigue toxins, allowing him to fight for days on end, unless winded by other means.
Superhuman Speed: Red Star can sprint 45 mph max, but with the propulsion of his energy beams, he can reach 100 mph in a second. His energy projection can also be used as an abrupt slow or brake in motion.

Besides Vadim's gift of tinkering, he possesses average human intelligence.
Vadim possesses an average, brawler-style fighting style.
While Vadim is tough to take down, he still possesses basic human weaknesses (illness, disease, toxins, etc.) until he acquires his energy form.
Vadim has locked away inside himself a lot of potential. He just needs the confidence to be able to access it.
Vadim doesn't understand what exactly has been done to him. One moment he was this normal young man, and now he is large and strong. His power scares him for he doesn't know if he will continue to mutate or if his mutations have ceased. He desires to learn more about his powers so that he can use them a little more confidently. He hopes to grow stronger and to gain more skills as a super hero. I am open for him to have a romantic relationship if one is to happen.
Vadim was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to Oskana and Sasha Medved. When he was fourteen-years-old, he went to visit his grandparents in Yaroslavl, Russia. One morning, when ice fishing with his grandfather, Vitaly, a strange red meteor tumbled from the sky. Vadim pushed his grandfather out of the meteor’s path, and as it came in proximity of Vadim, it released a red pulse that passed through his body traveling from his head down to his feet and back. The pulse happened in a millisecond before the meteor collided with Vadim, causing him to crash through the ice into the chilling waters. Vitaly called for help and within twenty minutes a response team arrived at the scene. The rescue team was able to fish Vadim from the lake waters as red shards from the meteor melted into his skin. They deemed the boy lucky to be alive and rushed him to a hospital. At the hospital, doctors were baffled by Vadim’s examination. He had suffered unconsciousness and not much else. His recovery was considered a miracle.
Vadim was released once he woke, and he returned with his grandparents to their house. Unknown to him, his mutation had already happened and had been so subtle that neither Vadim nor Vitaly had noticed. It was his grandmother, Viera, who immediately noticed when they arrived home. Vadim’s parents when he returned to New York were also flabbergasted, but Vadim never revealed the truth to them. He kept what happened in Russia a secret and claimed that Viera’s good cooking had made him big and strong.
Vadim experimented with his body at a closed down naval yard and discovered his abnormal strength. With his powers, he started his new life as a crime fighter. He came up with the name Red Star, naming himself after the strange object that had given him his powers. When he wasn’t at school, he was out fighting crime, and when he wasn’t at home, he told his parents that he was at school. He was able to hide his activities until college. In college, Vadim is pursuing a degree in Physics. When he was walking home from school, he was approached by a liaison for the Justice League. He hadn’t expected his small-time crime fighting to be noticed, and enthusiastically accepted the offer.
Vadim's parents are alive and well, and a side of him that other teammates may not see is that he's a mama's boy.
Vadim speaks fluent English and Russian.
Vadim is actually Russian-American; however, other Americans still treat him like a foreigner rather than an American. It must be his strong Russian accent. This has led to him developing a quiet personality. He would like to be treated as a fellow American for once.
Vadim likes to fix things that are broken on his own rather than call a repair man or professional. This has made him quite the handyman in times of emergency (especially when dealing with vehicle/aircraft issues).
The snow crunched under their snowboots and white wisps snaked from their nostrils about their pale faces. The young, fair-headed boy was garbed in thick brown furs from his head and neck down to the pants tucked into his boots. Thick gloves covered his hands as he followed alongside his дедушка (d’yeh’doo’sh’kah) or дед (d’yeh’d)—grandfather. The older man had gray peach fuzz on his chin, dark eyes, and a rounded beak-like nose. He reminisced as the two approached the lake, its frozen surface glowed in the sun. It was what Vadim believed heaven would look like.
This is spoken in Russian, but to spare you, I wrote it in English.
“When was the last time you came out here with me, boy? I think you were about five—too young to even know what ice fishing was,” said Vitaly.
“Five is too young?” Vadim asked jokingly.
“All you knew was that I cut a hole in the ice and fish come out. You didn’t know that there was an actual technique to the process.”
“I remember you caught a big one last time, and we sat out here, cooking it over a fire.”
“Yes, that was a good time. I hope to catch another big one.”
They carefully walked out onto the ice, tapping it with the end of their fishing rods as they stepped. They walked until they were just about in the center and Vitaly set down a white paint bucket and removed his saw from it. Handing Vadim his fishing rod, he bent over and started sliding the saw up and down in a circle about the width of two fists side-by-side. Setting down the saw, he removed an ice pick from the bucket next and stabbed the pick into the ice block, hauling it out of the hole. Both Vitaly and Vadim peered into the hole at the black waters.
“Well, let’s get to it then,” said Vitaly. He removed a can of sardines from the bucket next and flipped the bucket over. Vitaly sat on it, twisting around for a second to get his rump comfortable before he started opening the can. He removed a slimy fish and impaled it on his hook before lowering it into the water. Vadim watched in silent expectation as though Vitaly would catch a fish any moment.
Vitaly looked over at his grandson and chuckled. “It won’t happen that fast.”
The old man had been right. He had sat on that bucket for nearly thirty minutes with no bite. Vadim had started walking in a circle, sliding his feet across the ice. He had given his grandfather his own rod to bait, wishing that he had brought a second bucket to sit on. The boy’s chest swelled and sank as a bored sigh blasted from his nostrils. Something soon pulled on Vitaly’s rod, causing the man to gasp.
“Oh! Vadim! I got a bite! Come get your rod quick so I can reel him in!”
Vadim whirled in his grandfather’s direction and noticed above his head, gleaming like a red star in the sky was a foreign object growing larger and larger by the second. The sight of it briefly froze Vadim in his tracks, and he glanced between it and his grandfather, gauging the trajectory.
“Vadim! Get over here!” Vitaly irritably shouted.
The boy sprinted for his grandpa, running with all his might as his heart rapidly hammered in his chest and the cold burned his nose. When he reached Vitaly, he thrust out his hands, pushing the man from the bucket as time momentarily paused. In that moment, Vadim felt a hot energy ripple through him, passing from his head to his feet, and then back up to his head. His green eyes were shrunk and gazing at what appeared to be a red crystal-like rock.
Vitaly winced as he slid across the ice on his back. Water and ice fragment splashed and pelted his body. Spreading his arms and dragging his hands to slow his slide, Vitaly gazed in wide-eyed awe at the white tower of steam that rose from the boiling water. What happened?
“Vadim!” the old man called. He rose to his feet and stared at the hissing column seeing no one around it. His heart sank in panic as he raced over to the hole in the ice, his feet slipping in his haste. The old man thrust out his hands to steady himself as he stopped at the water’s edge. He looked around once more not wanting to believe that Vadim could have been in the water. “Vadim! Answer me boy!”
Quickly, Vitaly dunked a hand into his winter coat pocket and fished out his cell phone. “Yes, I have an emergency!”
Sharp, blinking ruby shards protruded from the back and front of the boy. Carp swam passed his slowly sinking body that twisted limply through a forest of reeds. In the lake, there was little sound but for the plume of bubbles that rose from the fragments that began to retract into his body. Fifteen minutes later, when his body laid face down in the reeds, his clothing waterlogged, a diver plunged into the water. The light shone into the murking gray waters of the lake like a beam, allowing the diver to see the tangled form in the reeds. With a knife, he cut away the plants and grasped the boy who oddly felt warm in his hands. As he carried him to the surface, the water became like bathwater around them. The diver emerged, holding up the unconscious boy.
“Thank God!” Vitaly exclaimed in relief.
He fearfully hovered around the rescue team as they unzipped Vadim’s coat. Upon laying their hands on the boy, they quickly retracted them in startle.
“He’s warm!” a rescuer noted.
They checked his pulse and breathing. “He’s alive! What a lucky kid!”
Vitaly pressed his fingers to his lips and blew kisses to the heavens as he praised God in his relief.
“We need to get him to a hospital. He could have a fever.”
“A fever? He was just in that frozen lake!” said Vitaly.
“He’s unusually warm. We are going to make sure. Come with us please if you are the boy’s guardian.”
Vitaly followed the crew as they carried the boy on a stretcher back to shore.
Powers: Barry's genes have granted him with super-human speed allowing him to faster than the human eye can perceive. Barry has been able to
achieve speeds up to Mach 1 as of yet he hasn't learned much more
about his powers but feels as if there is so much more he could do.
Something in him keeps telling him to keep running
Weaknesses: Barry is susceptible to speed dampening. Severe
cold will slow his metabolism and eventually drain him of health and
speed. While in mid motion if he is tripped the fall at whatever
speed he is traveling he will take the appropriate damage.
Appearance:
Character Evolution: Barry has some large shoes to fill
coming into the League under the shadow of Garrick, Barry is wanting to prove
himself among the current roster of heroes. Love has never been a
major concern of his but Barry is always hoping to run into "Mrs.
Right"
BRIEF Bio: Barry was born to middle American parents Henry
and Nora Allen. Growing up Barry was always the classic archetype of what most would consider a "nerd". Everything down to the pocket protector. From a very early age he had a love of everything science following closely following every publishing that came out of the scientific community with great intent. As the boy came up through middle school and subsequently high school at Central City High, Barry would find the first true love of his life. Iris Ann West.
During his high school years he and Iris spent a great deal of time together and even went to college together in Gotham University where Barry studied mechanical engineering. During his tenure in Gotham Barry's came up with the concept of designing a new type of engine and fuel to increase speed, power and fuel economy and with enough time and energy he believed he had everything figured out. The only thing left to do was to test out his theory.
One night after spending months of prep and research Barry finally came up with a working prototype and barring typical researching protocol opted to test his new hand built car to the nearest strip and race it full speed. One minute Barry was racing, about to achieve everything his collegiate career was building up to and the next lightning struck the car causing a near fatal explosion. When Barry woke up in the hospital days later he discovered that he had the possibility to run at incredible speed. After years of reading about the Flash Barry knew that he had to follow the same course.
The only question now was how to actually do that...
Notes: Some the story plots I've pulled for this version of Flash comes from some of the Arrowverse ideas of Kid Flash, save for a few minor tweeks and changes I will be making her and there. The basic idea being that I wanted Barry to grow the same way and learn of his abilities, the Speed Force, and everything that comes along with it.
Sample Post:
The cool calm of the autumn air was suddenly broken with the sounds of sirens racing through the city streets of Central City. Another in a string of petty thefts that have been plaguing the city as criminals take what they believe belongs to them. Gunshots pierce through the already calamity as in the hopes that it would aid their get away began taking pop shots at their persurers. Yet another offspring of life in Central City, violence.
As the sound of bullet piercing tires sent the police spinning to what seemed like an inevitable crash the sound of crackling lightning filled the ears of the "doomed" officers as they soon found themselves sitting safely on the sidewalk. The smirk of the elder officer let the junior know exactly what happened. The crooks, now several blocks away, looked back in horror to see that same streak of lightning acing towards them and with a blinging flash they too found themselves tied to a light pole.
They looked their captor from head to toe and actually looked shocked at who they saw. Standing their in a yellow and red jumpsuit with bright red goggles over his eyes he looked back at them with an overconfident smirk beaming across his face
"Tough break guys. Looks like you've been caught by the fastest man alive!"
They looked with a sense of confusion as one spoke up,
"You aint the Flash...you're more like the kid version of the Flash. "
A swift and sudden punch knocked the robber out cold as a loud and clearly exhausted sigh escaped his lips,
"I really hate that name...like, you have no idea how much I hate that."
Name: Anousa Prince. (Princess Anousa of Themyscira.) Alias: Wonder Woman Age: 23 Personality: Strong-willed, Naive, Idealist, Compassionate, Strong Conscience. Archetype: Mystic/Metahuman. Abilities: • Superhuman strength. • Superhuman Speed. • Superhuman durability. • Superhuman Longevity. • Superhuman reflexes. • Accelerated healing factor. Skills: • Skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Equipment: • Bracelets of Submission. • Lasso of Truth. • Sword. • Shield. Weaknesses: not as fast or strong as Diana, inexperienced in the field. Only trained on Themyscira for around 2-3 years before leaving for man’s world.
Appearance:
Anousa has long wavy blonde hair, it falls to shoulder length draping over her shoulders which She always has her freely down. Anousa stands roughly at 6 feet tall with a figure of 32-23-33 and weighing 130 pounds. She has small cheeks, a medium size nose, small hands with delicate average size lips, Anousa has easy to get lost into blue eyes and a tanned skin complexion giving her a mixed heritage/foreign appearance and an exotic look. She may also wear a wig to cover her identity as it is not public knowledge of what she is, this will allow her to move freely without drawing to much attention and blend in with the general public while no doubt having parts of her outfit or equipment hidden underneath.
Anousa likes to keep herself in good condition by working out but she is by no means under or overweight, she is an attractive individual depending on one’s personal taste but has a good feminine figure. Anousa knows she's beautiful but also understands her worth, she doesn't flaunt herself, she’s toned to the point of being lightly muscled yet there’s no mistaking the Amazon does have some curves in the right places.
Character Evolution: I would like to see Anousa is finding out who her actual father is, further develop her understand of the world of man and its many qualities and develop herself as an individual. In the long run I would love to see her being a capable member of the team, becoming better at functioning as a team and overcoming being Naïve about the world behind her as she comes from island of super strong warriors. I would also like to evolve her abilities a bit, becoming better with experience and being able to eventually fly. I hope for her to gain friendships and maybe even a relationship.
BRIEF Bio: Anousa is the biological daughter of Diana, who is now become the Queen of Themyscira after her return from the world of man and unknown demi-god, an Amazon hailing from a hidden paradise island of Themyscira. She grew up surrounded by a legion of sisters and mothers, her mother Diana, would tell Anousa great stories from the world of man and her own adventures as the champion of the Amazon’s during the time of the great wars. Other stories included her time with the founding of the Justice society before she came back home. This inspired the young Anousa in wanting to become just like her mother, wanting to do good and to protect those of whom needed it, even if it sounded a little naïve of her to do so.
When Anousa became more of age, her mother Diana went on to show her daughter the mystical equipment she would use once to had completed and surpassed her training. The sword, shield, armour and even the indestructible bracers of submission were forged and made for her, Anousa was even shown and told about the Lasso of truth.
After training on Themyscira for the best part of two to three years, Anousa was ready to go forth and venture out from the mystical island to the world of man, Diana however did not agree and felt that time to leave was too early for her daughter. Anousa did not argue and reluctantly agreed at the time, but she wanted to follow her heart and leave her people to help others.
Anousa brought it up again during a celebration of the completion of the contest for the next Wonder Woman in which Anousa had won, Again Diana told Anousa she was still not ready which annoyed her greatly, her heart and passion was in the right place, but her experience was not. Mad at her mother, Anousa took to taking everything that she needed with her including the Lasso of Truth and some other clothing to keep her warm. She took to taking a ship from the island, Diana knew of this but choose not to stop her. She has been hidden in plain sight in America for some time now.
Notes: Anousa's Brecelets of submission are indestructable.
Soul Manipulation = Naomi has the ability to freely manipulate her own soul. She can release her soul in the form of energy blasts that can affect the physical body of the target as well as its own soul. Additionally, Naomi can incorporate her spiritual energy in her physical attacks which she mostly uses offensively against her enemies. When a spiritual energy in the form of a beam or in her physical attacks hits a target, effects may vary:
+ If target is a human = it will be affected both physically and spiritually, meaning the target will become more fatigued the more it is hit by her attacks in addition to feeling physical pain.
+ If target is an entity/deity/spirit/pure force of nature = target will be affected spiritually of course, but instead of being more fatigued it will experience pain.
Yokai-Crafted Seimei Umbrella = The various yokai who took her in and guarded her when she was lost in the woods made her this umbrella as a parting gift. Although she is adept at releasing spiritual attacks on her own, like magicians with their staves, Naomi uses a seimei umbrella that helps her focus her spiritual attacks and make them more precise. It is bound to her and will always reappear near her even when it is lost, broken, or stolen. She can use the umbrella as a mode of transportation similar to Mary Poppins, teleport to its location when far from her, and control it telepathically to fight with her.
+ Her parents made sure to train her in various martial arts as a way of protecting herself from bullies and other malevolent souls and demons. She is also very flexible and quick on her feet, a result of her continuous gymnastics training that started during her childhood.
+ Naomi has the ability to see and talk to yokai and any other types of spirits.
+ She developed an uncanny ability to persuade others much like her namesake, Kitsune, which are quite infamous for tricking mortals.
Weaknesses: + Naomi is in grave danger when in combat with a demon or another tainted spirit warrior as she has a great chance of being tainted herself. If she does become tainted, she can only be purified when bathed in cherry blossom oil, by a priest or another pure soul, but her goldfish spirits are often the ones who purify her when the occasion arises. Naomi herself is able to purify a tainted soul, but it means that the corruption from the soul she purified will be transferred to her.
+ As much as she is skilled in martial arts, she may have a hard time when battling against an enemy that has a greater physique than her.
+ Naomi cannot revert from Physical to Spiritual Mode and vice versa if she is cursed by a more powerful magician or is unconscious. The more she stays in Spirit Mode, she more fatigue she will feel once she changes back into Physical Mode. To compensate, she has to sleep and eat a lot.
+ Her spiritual attacks are ineffective against soulless beings.
Appearance:
Character Evolution: Naomi could honestly care less about having a boyfriend. She just wanted to join the Justice League because her father is one of Superman's many fanboys and she wanted to follow in her father's idol's steps. Though her parents are very skeptical of her joining the League with her mother being completely against it, Naomi's mom saw so much compassion in her daughter that it moved her to agree so long as she comes home before dinner. Naomi also thinks that having superhero friends would be super cool.
BRIEF Bio: Back when she was a little girl, Naomi was lost in a forest and went completely off the radar for six days during a camping trip with her class. Little did they know that little Naomi accidentally discovered an entrance to the spirit world. Various yokai contemplated on what to do with the child as no human has ever entered the spirit world in centuries with some of them even suggested on killing her to prevent her from spreading the information regarding a portal to their realm. But they were baffled because where other humans would run in fear and hunt them down, Naomi was just filled with curiosity and excitement towards their weird but unique looks. What really changed their minds, however, is that they all sensed her pure heart as no matter how Naomi was bullied and left alone, she will always treat others with kindness and never let them affect her.
The yokai celebrated for the arrival of a very rare pure-hearted human and took her in as one of their own. But they sensed that the longer she stayed, the more she loses her humanity and becomes one of them. Most of all, she began to feel very homesick, deeply missing her parents. Also sensing the various humans who were looking for her, including her parents, they decided to bade farewell to her: they all gave her the blessing of the spirits and named her Yokai Princess, making her every spirit's friend and ally. They returned her on the seventh day, where the authorities found her peacefully sleeping under a cherry blossom tree with a seimei umbrella beside her. Naomi's parents tearfully hugged her and returned home, but much to Naomi's parents' surprise, the umbrella was waiting for them in her bedroom, along with a bowl of goldfishes they never had before.
No matter what they do, the umbrella always reappears near Naomi. Because of this, they concluded that a malicious yokai might have possessed the umbrella or worse their own daughter. Sensing the right time, the two goldfishes leaped out of their bowl and transformed into yokai themselves. After hysterical screaming and the panicked parents began to calm down, the two spirits began to explain the cause of her disappearance. They also said that they were assigned as her guardians due to her status as their Yokai Princess.
It was a rough start, but Naomi's family began to slowly adapt to their new lifestyle of living in harmony with spirits. A few years later, Naomi's dad received a call from his company: he got promoted and is said to move to their company's branch at Metropolis as soon as he can. He was very exited to move into the base of operations of his idol the Superman himself, but he thought of his daughter's newfound friends at Japan and how they will react. Fortunately, the yokai agreed. Though sad they'll never get to see their beloved princess again, they are happy as long as they know Naomi is happy.
Notes: + She has two modes, Physical and Spirit. In Physical Mode, her hair is black and her eyes coffee-brown. While she retains her physical abilities, she can't release soul-based attacks and her seimei umbrella is as useful to her as any other umbrella (though it will still return to her like normal). In Spirit Mode, her hair becomes pink and her eyes bright yellow, she can release spiritual attacks as well and she has full usage of her umbrella as well.
+ She always releases sakura flowers and petals whenever doing her spiritual attacks, earning her the nickname as the "Maiden of the Sakura"
Sample Post: It lingers in the dark. It knows the night is still young, it has plenty of time to feed.
It's operating under the radar for months now. It keeps its attacks continuous yet each one has a long interval, long enough for people and even the Justice League to hardly notice. If they do, they won't find anything. It always ensures its plate is clean after every feeding.
And right now it is starving. It could have waited a little longer, but hunger makes one impatient. Besides, it knows it will never be caught.
Aah, there it is. A man in a suit and tie, walking like he's drunk, he's steps uncoordinated making him trip easily. In short, dinner.
Seeing the man go round a corner, it changed form to a voluptuous woman in a blood-red evening gown and followed the man, ready to make the man fall in love with it for easier devouring. It laughed when it saw him slumped near the garbage cans. It moved closer to the unconscious man and lifted his chin up, marveling at how this night wouldn't be any perfect. The demoness began to unhinge its mouth, opening to a demonic extent and showing rows of large teeth, ready to eat its dinner with great gusto.
"Um, what are you doing?"
The demoness returned back to its human form. It turned its head towards the noise and found a woman wearing Asian clothes and holding an umbrella. It couldn't see her actual appearance as she is standing with the light from the lamppost behind her.
It laughed at her. "Run along, little girl. The costume party's that way"
The girl tilted her head side-wards. "I should say the same thing to you, ma'am. Is that your husband?"
The demoness smiled. So it didn't see me open my mouth. How pathetic and dumb, it thought. It put on a serene smile. "Why yes, little girl. I'm just helping him get up. He drank too much from the party and now he's sleeping like a rock. Actually I take back what I said earlier, would you be a dear and help me?"
The girl laughed this time. "You don't understand ma'am, I'm not going to help you", she said. She stepped closer to the demoness and it saw it was wearing Japanese-style clothing and a seimei umbrella, but what the demoness truly feared is the girl's long, pink hair and her mask that resembles a fox. The demoness opened its eyes in horror. "I'm going to help him", she finished.
The demoness hissed and growled. It shredded its human form into something monstrous, with huge talons and mouth full of rows of razor sharp teeth. It knows of the girl's reputation in the spirit world as one of the few humans blessed with the power of the pure souls, patrolling the night as an enforcer that keeps trickster spirits in line, though it never imagined it would actually meet her until now. "Kitsune", it said in disdain.
The demoness struck forward, its claws ready to rip the girl's face off, but Kitsune was quicker. She dodged the attack and pointed her umbrella at its chest. A burst of pink energy shot and enveloped the demon. Kitsune raised her umbrella until it was pointing upwards, lifting the trapped demon several feet overhead. It trashed and screamed very obscene words at Kitsune but it couldn't break out of her grasp.
She sighed. "Anata wa totemo taikutsudesu", Kistune said in a mocking tone.
She spun her umbrella as fast as she could, spinning the she-demon along with it. Then she jumped upwards and pierced the demon's chest where the heart should be. Now several feet in the air, Kitsune saw how the demon's heart as black as night sitting at the tip of the umbrella. The demoness' eyes grew wider at the new hole on its chest. "Ew", Kistune said as she opened her umbrella, releasing spiritual energy outwards and exploding the heart. The she-demon let out one final scream before it dissipated into dust.
Kitsune flowed gently to the ground. She thought of what she can do about the unconscious guy until she heard police sirens approaching in the distance. Shrugging, she flew away from the scene using her umbrella, planning on binge-watching How to Get Away with Murder all night.
