*Lecter nods*
Lecter: Well met.
*Before The Devil Hunter can say anything else, Karma flies out from the treetops and lands on his shoulder. The familiar privately tells Lecter a version of what happened with Togan, and the Devil Hunter frowns*
Lecter: Ever more dangerous out here... John, you've met Karma here. She's the one that gave you the message about those attackers.

*Pseudo Iris swings her knee at Iris's jaw, and doesn't seem to be weakened from Iris's drain*
*It gets shot by Hanna's shard and emits an inhuman noise*

*Bat A is gunned down, and disappears without a trace of its existence*
*Bat B duels with Zeta, with lightning sparking off its body at Zeta and Jillian*

*The laspistol has no effect on the bat, as it seems to absorb the lasers*
*It shoots lightning in each direction, burning books as it attempts to hit the Major*

*Iris get's kneed and falls. Hitting the ground hard.*
Iris: Ugh! Hanna run!
*She tries to distract the creature and allow Hanna time to escape, seeing no other solution*

*Suddenly a large fist comes from where a wall was formerly and slams into Pseudo Iris as Horus breaks through the wall and into the room. He's cleaned off a bit, but is still pretty tarred-up*
Horus: No! There will be no running!

*Xan is out of it*

*Taboo uses the distraction to slip from the vent and towards Xan. She transforms as she goes, aiming to slit Xan's throat with her claws*
*As before, she's wearing breeches like her brother and several necklaces around her neck. The necklaces are made of various teeth/claws/gems and gold.*

*As Pseudo Iris gets slammed into the wall, lightning flies out across the room, flying in every direction*
*It shifts forms to match Horus' size and slams both it's hands on Horus' head*

*Horus blocks the blow with both his forearms, then roars as he's electrocuted*
*Assuming the lightning thing has copied his strength he staggers back*
Horus: Not so fast there!
*He goes for a potential cheapshot to the groin, knowing he can't match this foe and keep Iris and Hanna safe at the same time*

*Zeta feels a sharp pinch significantly more painful than the strike with she received from the Zeta-copy in the centre of her palm, and although she doesn't know what it is, it really fucken hurts her. Despite the pain, she keeps on trying to gain the upper hand in the duel. On occasion, her flesh gets zapped by some stray bolts of lightning, but although it hurts her, it doesn't imobalise/kill her instantly, instead all of the pain she receives goes into her palm. Her spear is a godsend for Zeta, though she barely realises it. Eventually the pain in her palm gets too hard to handle, so of course her parries and blows get slower than the copies, so yes she starts losing. She's also mid-duel, so she can't help Xan if she wanted to, which at this moment in time, she does not want to do regardless. Cause, y'know, she's losing a fight against a clone of herself. That's gotta sting your pride a fair bit.*

*Vaseraga nods once, and just stands there stalwart. He silently eyes the group, picking apart what they have and who they might be. He deduces that by John's and Sasha's apparel, they're much more advanced than he is, and that Lecter isn't who he really seems by the way a crow is so comfortable with him, and that is generally a bad sign where Vaseraga comes from. His scythe also really wants blood.*
Vaseraga: Shall we go or not? I am unfamiliar with this territory.

*Jillian does her best to avoid the the lightning attacks, but sreams when she is hit, and tries to find some cover.*
*Snaps out of cover to take a shot at the bat, also makes sure her not to hit anyone*

*John frowns.*
John: I guess I met your bird?
*Sasha shrugs, and nods to Lecter.*
Sasha: We are following his lead, at the moment. But yes we should go.
*She lifts her lance, and gestures to Lecter to lead on.*

*Hanna slowly gets up and and struggles towards Iris. Her movements are still a little jittery but she does make her way to Iris.*

*She tries to stay out of the fight between Horus and his clone. She tries to help Iris up and get her away from the battle. She would have launched more shards but is worried she will hit the wrong Horus.*

*Walter sits outside the room, he contemplates going inside to help but goes against it knowing he would most likely just be a hindrance against the foes currently invading the building.*

*Major swears painfully as the lighting arcs off his pistols metal components being the closest metal object in the room and natural conducted of electrical eneergy*

*switches hoping the plasma pistol will do more damage to the strange creatures suffering painful burns as the effects of electric shocks and shaking struggling to line up a stead shot at the bat *

*looks to door hoping to make a break if he can slow whatever the thing attacking is*

*Taboo is hit by a stray bolt of lightning and thrown across the room*
*She howls in fury and launches herself towards the bat*

*Iris tries to resist Hanna, but Hanna is still much stronger than her*
Iris: No! I can't leave Horus! Horus!!

*Horus ain't doing so well in his fight. He's still wounded so the electrical being is overpowering him. He tries thinking of a way to stop the creature and has an idea. He tries to slam the pseudo Horus into the bathtub and turn on the water.*

*Hanna forces herself to keep dragging Iris away, she hasn't seen Horus get into a fight he's lost and has faith in him*

Hanna: N-no Iris! I need to keep you safe! I p-promised Horus!

*She really hates making Iris hurt but she know it's what Horus would want it like this way.*

Hanna: (Please forgive me Iris...)

*Lecter nods and looks around the area*
Lecter: She's more than just a bird. She's family to me.
*Karma flies off of Lecter's shoulder and starts circling the area. Lecter walks towards the tree that Be'lak sent him into, and kneels down*
Lecter: Where are you?
*He draws his pistol as he hears a distant roar, followed with the rattling of bones, and slowly stands up*
Lecter: Weapons ready. How well can you fight, Vaseraga?

*Bat B gets shot and staggers slightly, opening itself up to a hit from Zeta*

*Pseudo Horus tries to pull Horus into the bathtub as well, and doesn't seem affected by the water. However, the water is boiling from the amount of electricity frying through it*

*Library Bat tries to avoid the plasma shots as it swoops through the library, but eventually gets hit and flies into a shelf*

*Major makes a break for door as electric bat's plus books and wood a good recipe for a fire and alot of smoke and not good to breath in. *

*Stumbles slightly as still stun effected by the original shocks and hurting from various burns and runs for door snapping off a few last shots before trying to find somewhere less trying to turn him into a crispy crispy human snack*

What kinds hell is this...
*runs out to main room which is probably a even more crispy and worse version of meatloafs famous song *

*Horus roars in pain from the boiling water and slams Pseudo Horus into a wall. He gets several well placed punches off on the creature, but takes a few hits himself. He looks at Iris and Hanna for a moment*
Horus: Hanna! No matter what, get Iris out of here! No matter- UGH!
*He gets gut-punched and tackled through a wall*

*Iris is screaming and pulling at Hanna, trying to get away*
Iris: NO! HORUS! LET GO OF ME! NOOOO!
*She struggles desperately, but even though her change has made her much stronger, she's not as strong as Hanna still*

*Hanna's face falls as she continues pulling Iris away, doing as Horus told her. Iris' constant attempts to resist her only made her feel worse as she slowly dragged Iris through the halls and towards her room. She had too keep telling herself that Horus was going to be ok and that Iris would forgive her once the fighting was over.*

*She said nothing the whole time not wanting to burst out in tears on accident. She needed to be strong now, For Horus. She told herself as she finally managed to get Iris into her room then close the door.*

*Once locked in Hanna's room, Iris snarls and glares at Hanna, surprisingly hostile considering her normal motherly attitude towards the Ghoul. Her eyes flicker between the door and Hanna*
Iris: Hanna... Get out of my way.
*She looks at Hanna, the kindness gone from her lizardlike eyes*
Iris: I'm GOING to help my lover! And you're not going to stand in my way!

*Zeta takes a half-step back and jabs the clone through the torso with her spear, then tried to at least keep it in place so it can get shot more or sometbung, seeing as though the spear does little itself.*

*Vaseraga laughs a deep and course laugh, booming and echoing through a fair bit of the forest at Lecter's question, then turns towards the sound and starts walking towards it, his scythe glowing bright purple at the prospect of being able to fight something.*

*Hanna shakes her head in a weak gesture of defiance*

Hanna: N-no... H-Horus told me to keep you s-safe.

*Hanna is not at all a fan of Iris' current attitude and is actually rather hurt by it.*

Hanna: S-so you have to stay in h-here...

*Iris shouts at Hanna*
Iris: Horus needs help! And if you're not going to help him then I have to!
*She advances on Hanna and tries to push her aside, scrabbling for the door handle*
Iris: I won't stay here while he's in such danger! He needs help!

*Jillian reloads her magnum, and snaps some shots at the impaled doppelganger.*

*John laughs too, cause laughter is infectous to him. Sasha does not laugh, and her face is unreadable under her helm.*
*They keep their guns at the ready, and scan the area for any threats.*

*Lecter pauses as laughing echoes to the group, and he scans the area*
Lecter: Saragoss. Watch their mouths.
*Floating skulls fly in circles around the group, seemingly coming from nowhere. They appear human, aside from being much larger than any human skull*
*The Devil Hunter immediately opens fire on the skulls, and Karma flies to engage them as well*

*Bat B's knees sag as it gets impaled, and it attempts to zap Zeta while it still has strength*
*It then disappears as Jillian finishes it off, leaving no trace*

*Pseudo Horus keeps battling Horus, brutally using its fists to try and kill the Avenger*

*Library Bat frees itself from the shelf eventually and flies after the Major, firing more lightning and causing the fire to spread more as it goes*
