Background:
Plenty of people would look at Bee’s life and the ‘wrong paths’ she took and assume she had a poor upbringing, a hard life. They would be wrong. She had a perfectly normal childhood with parents who loved her, siblings to squabble with and food on the table every night. Certainly they were by no means rich but she didn’t suffer in the slums, go days without until she finally broke down and stole.

The truth of the matter was Bee simply enjoyed stealing. She liked sneaking and having secrets, she liked getting away with something right under someone’s nose. The thrill of ALMOST getting caught but not, walking around with someone else’s money in her pockets, the types of shifty and cunning folk who bought and sold stolen goods. It was all a game to her, a game she loved.

Of course she’d get caught now and then but mostly she got off with warnings. After all she came from a sensible family, surely it was just a phase? Her parents embarrassed at their daughter’s sticky fingers refused to speak about it, and so her bad habits became another secret for her to harbor. Another aspect to conceal, another shadow to lurk in.

Why you joined:
The truth of the matter is Bee finally was caught too many times. With the struggles in the world continuing she was given an on option. 5 years’ service with the military or as a prisoner; Bee would have to be a fool to choose the latter , at least in the services she could have time to herself and possibilities for fun. True her chances of death were higher but there is always some risk in life. Being free was more important than being alive apparently.

Personality:
A good thief goes unnoticed, a better thief can have the spotlight on them and still rob you blind. Or at least that is Bee’s thinking. Of course now she is reformed, pious and all that. Sort of…

Bee is quick to make a joke (often at other’s expenses) and to laugh, a mask of indifference and carefree attitude hiding her sensitive nature and hot to rise temper. She’ll smile while she’s cursing you and apologize while plotting her revenge. An odd bird Bee is very loyal to the very few she feels close to and secretly worries that no one likes her, sometimes leaning towards paranoia. Seldom she’ll fall into dark gloom, brooding and becoming almost silent. It is in these moods she makes the most outlandish stupid choices and traditionally gets caught, as if she is looking for a fight.

She’s not all bad, Bee can be generous and even tender hearted should the moon and the sun align. And while she is a thief, it’s a rare day she’ll steal from anyone she feels TRULY needs every penny and scrap they have. In a twisted way she has a moral code and she follows it strictly, while the laws of the land she’s a little more lose with.
