(I think this section is where I'm supposed to post this?)
Name: River Lombardi De Luca
Age: 19
Picture: Click.
Height: 6’0
Weight: 155? (Perfect people don’t have to weigh themselves, honestly.)
Background:
Well, River Lombardi De Luca is the crème da la crème. The result of good breeding and an abundance of money, River has a lived a pretty swell life. His mother, Adelasia De Luca, was born a prominent family—arguably more prominent than the Castandandito and Suarez families. The Da Luca family had their hands on a lot of businesses, including that of selling drugs and alcohol, which the family had specialized in for centuries. That wasn’t all those, they even had control over hundreds of coal and diamond mines. The mines were Adelasia’s how special project, which children of her family were required to do to inherit the previous generation’s wealth. Her parents had instilled into her the value of hard work and the will to do whatever she set her mind on.
Of course, this lead to Adelasia choosing the most handsome piece of man-meat as her husband. He was from a decent family, but that really didn’t matter. All Adelasia really wanted was something nice to look at whenever she had free time. Eventually, the union lead to three sons and three daughters. It was obviously much better than other not-quite-as-wealthy-families-who-only-had-a-daughter managed. It left
Adelasia with a good horde of children to fight for her wealth.
She showed her love by giving her children the best things possible. She made sure her children had the best education and the best of weapon training. She would also drag her family with her whenever she made trips to her facilities or meetings just so she could brag about what a good-looking family they were.
This was the life River was born into—he loved it. He ate the best food, had the best teachers, and was able to travel whenever he wanted. He was also the youngest son, so he had the least responsibility. This gave him the opportunity to focus on what he really enjoyed and not what his mother wanted him to enjoy. Unfortunately, what he enjoyed most in the world was bugging that gross Asha kid about how much better his family was than her’s. Why did he do it? Just cause, honestly. It was fun? He really never felt a reason to justify it. His favorite thing to do was brag about all the fancy trips his mom was taking him on. He could basically stalk Asha for hours, rattling on about all the places he had visited and all the delicious food he had tried.
So, one can assume that River was a little distraught when he couldn’t find Asha for weeks. Eventually, his mother had heard from someone who had heard from the cousin of someone who was friends with Asha’s family that the girl had been sent off to kill dragons. Was River going to let Asha go off and have a super cool adventure she would be able to brag? An adventure that River would never be able to top? Hell, no. Since he was the youngest of six children, his parents agreed to let him join the king’s army. After all, there was no way his mom was going to let that family one-up her.
Why you joined: He isn’t willing to let Asha one-up him.
Personality: River loves traveling. He enjoys learning about new cultures and trying different types of food. For this reason, he absolutely loves learning. However, what he loves more than learning or traveling is being better than people. He’s that type of person that no matter what story you’re telling, he’ll have a better one. For this reason, River seems to not make very many friends(i.e. none), but that doesn’t bug him. It’s not his fault he’s so much better than anyone else.
