*Vaseraga smiles underneath his helmet, and bows his head to Horus, not one bit intimidated by his voice, but he wants to play along.*
Vaseraga: The book is Society property. They wrote it, therefore they should be the ones to own it. Now how about we settle down and taste this whiskey like Mr. John said?
*He then sighs at Jillian, and decides to play nice.*
Vaseraga: I will return back to my lands. This is an unknown and uncharted Skydom, so yes, you are right, I have no authority over anyone, thus why I will return. I know she has the book because I saw her leave with it, and I've been tracking her ever since. As for what is in the book... how can I say this in a way you will understand... imagine, if all of the governments secrets, all of the wars they have started, all of the deals they have made, all the people assassinated, are put into one book. Now, imagine EVERY government having all of their secrets in one book. Now imagine all of the horrors of the world put into one book that explains why they really attack people. The resulting chaos if the news spread would be catastrophic. Rioting in the streets, anarchy, revolts left, right and centre. Do you really want this book to be in the hands of someone who broke all of her oaths to her organisation? Someone as 'loyal' as someone who turned her back on her comrades in arms? Hrmph. Thought not.
*He stands up straight, quite convinced that he got his point across.*

*Zeta opens her mouth to say something, but falls short when Vaseraga says the last piece of his speech. Her head drops and she looks at the ground in guilt, and quite possibly even regret.*

*Eustace is really close to facepalming, but instead he plays ball, and responds in accordance.*
Eustace: Eustace. Friend of Vaseraga. Lie down or you will have permanent damage done to your stomach.

Jillian: And I am supposed to simply accept that your organization has good intentions? Maybe Zeta took the book because she felt this 'society' is evil, and it seems at the least your government is evil or has bad intentions. Now answer this, why? Why does your organisation watch over this book? Is it because you are a group of assassins, or simply want to keep blackmail on your government?

*Sasha stares at Eustace for a long moment, before slowly sitting down, and laying on her back.*
Sasha: No funny business...
*She still holds her sword in her hand, and watches Esutace like a hawk.*

*Lecter leans against a wall and looks between Jillian and Vaseraga*
Lecter: I'm with the gunslinger on this one.
*The Devil Hunter adjusts his hat and makes himself with content with watching the discussion for now, as multiple people talking at once just makes things chaotic, and Jillian seems to have it handled*

*Vaseraga isn't at all phased by the questions, and bows his head again.*
Vaseraga: Fine questions, yes. The book is in our possession because we made it because we had the resources to do so. As for what we are, well, we're-
Zeta: All assassins. Myself included. The organisation was made to combat Primal Beasts, but we changed from that to assassins and political advisors because we could use select pieces of information from the ledger. We aren't what we were meant to be, ever since I got there I thought I was going to be a Primal Beast hunter, not an assas-
*She's cut off by Vaseraga throwing his scythe at her, which she only barely is able to deflect with her spear, she stares daggers at Vaseraga. Who stares back at her, before his scythe returns to him.*
Vaseraga: We adapted to the times. Nothing more, nothing less.

*Eustace sighs and tries pulling Sasha so she lies on her side.*
Eustace: Never lie on your back.
*He then tries stuffing some brown cotton-esque sort of material into Sasha's stomach wound to stop her insides from leaking out while she lies down, and looks around.*
Eustace: Give me the location of your doctor.
*His voice clearly leaves no room for questions, cause he doesn't want to answer any.*

*Horus takes a step forwards as Vaseraga throws his scythe. He glares at Vase in almost as much fury as Zeta. Seeing him attack Zeta to shut her up and stop her revealing what he didn't want revealed is enough for Horus. He's made his mind up on the topic*
Horus: That's all I need to see. Adapting with the times? That's not what I'd call it. I'd call it a perversion of what seems to be your original purpose. If Zeta here is telling the truth, then you're no better than a murdering scumbag.
*He looks at Jillian and Lecter*
Horus: All in favor of slaying the aggressor here? Or at least sending him well on his way with a good kick in the ass?
*He nods to Vaseraga as he joins Zeta's side with Xan*
Xan: He die! Bad beast!

*Dr looks over the tense kitchen trying to find a exit out the bubbling trouble*

Excuse me... if this book is so much a point of contention why do you not destroy it and manage not to die over someone elses own problems.

*Makes her exit out of kitchen to sofa wondering what kind of mutants have taken over this land somewhat agreeing the mayors first description as a mad house*

*Jillian shoots the roof to silence the others, and stares at Vaseraga.*
Jillian: Another act of aggression, and I put two rounds through your eyes.
*She then thinks for a few seconds, and lightly taps her foot.*
Jillian: So... A group of assassins who possess a book that they use to blackmail governments for their own gains? Is that it? And now we come to Zeta, someone trying to serve the orginal purposes of your society, and now runs away with your blackmail material.
*She turns to Zeta.*
Jillian: What was your plan, Zeta? Were you going to expose this information? Maybe burn the book? Explain. *Her eyes then jump to Vaseraga.* If you so much as have a muscle twitch, I will end you. Let her speak, no more lies.

*Sasha grits her teeth in pain, and shakes her head.*
Sasha: I don't know if this place has medical supplies, let alone a doctor.
*Though Sasha is heavily damaged, she isn't suffering from blood loss cause of her medical nanities. If she was still bleeding, she would be long dead.*

*Lecter gives a half smirk underneath his hat at Jillian's reaction, and makes himself content with studying everyone for their actions, so he'll be ready to intervene if anything else goes down*

*Vaseraga 'hrmphs', and crosses his arms, perhaps appearing unhappy for the first time since he's arrived at the room. Despite this, he lets Zeta talk.*
Zeta: I was taking it to one of the Luminary Knights. She would've known what to do, but I got lost trying to navigate the Grim Basin, and ended up here. She would have known what to do with it, whether to burn it or show it to the public. Now I don't know what I'm going to do, I'm always going to be in danger while in possession of it.
*Vaseraga laughs, then stands up straight.*
Vaseraga: So then hand it and yourself over for trial, and nobody else in this room will be harmed.
*Zeta growls, and her spear points itself at Vaseraga's heart, even though he'd probably still live even if it stabbed him.*
Zeta: Urusai! It's not like you or Beatrix can do much to them.
Vaseraga: Eustace, though? He could put a hole in each and every one of their heads should he want to. Now be a good girl and give me the book.
*Zeta hesitates to respond, cause she A, knows that what he said about Eustace is true as fuck, and B, if Eustace is involved, she really doesn't want to fight him, because he's still a good friend of hers, an amazing fighter, and her crush.*

*Eustace can't resist facepalming at Sasha's words, but continues trying to make sure her internal organs are intact with his remaining hand.*
Eustace: Useless.
*He then goes back to dressing her wounds, and stands up after he's done. He looks at Sasha for a little bit, before leaning back down and trying to help her up.*
Eustace: You need rest.

*Jillian eyes become slits at the threat.*
Jillian: And I could've put a hole in his head sense he laid down in the treeline, but at this point it goes beyond simply Zeta and you. *She thinks silently, and wonders what her father would do.* This book will be given to the proper authorities, not handed back to some your group of assassins. Now I understand that Zeta had intentions of giving the book to some 'knights' something I agree with. Until than you will both cease with the fighting, and retain order in this place. *She pulls out a cigarette, and lights it. She then puffs on it for a time, and looks towards the pair.*
Jillian: Where is the book, Zeta? I will hold it for the time being, and I pledge on my honor not to examine its contents.

*Sasha shakes her head, and watches Eustace closely.*
Sasha: There's no time.. I have to kill the fucking praetorian... John sure as hell can't do it.
*She grinds her teeth as she gradually gets up with Eustace's help.*
Sasha: What the fuck is taking him so god damn long...

*Horus looks down at Jillian and nods, pleased with how she handled the situation*
Horus: Jillian is right. Vaseraga, you will not attack Zeta or anyone else here, or else. Understand? Zeta, we'll get you patched up then you can show Jillian this book.
*He looks fiercely at Vase then looks at Zeta*
Horus: You too, I won't have any more bloodshed. Now, let's get you taken care of, both of you.
*He looks between them both since they're both obviously injured, but decides Zeta should be first*
Horus: I'll go grab a medkit. John, maybe some 'medicinal' whiskey?
*He winks at John jokingly as he turns his back on the group to go find some medical supplies*

*Now no longer thinking it dangerous, Xan lowers her guard and turns to Zeta, lifting one arm over her shoulder and helping to support her better*
Xan: You hurt... Need healer...
*She looks concerned for Zeta, and shifts back to human form so her claws don't risk cutting her further while she tries to wipe away some blood*
*She looks over at Jillian and nods gratefully, then shoots a glare at Vaseraga*
Xan: I still say we kill him! But I not go against your wishes...
*She seems to be honest about that at least as she focuses on tending to Zeta*

*Vaseraga is not happy, but he remains silent, wanting to find out where the book is. His massive shoulders slump slightly in a sign of mock defeat, hoping to fool at least one person.*

*Zeta looks between Jillian and Vaseraga, then shakes her head.*
Zeta: Not here. I'll tell you the location away from prying ears. But thank you, for trusting me.
Vaseraga: May it not be your last mistake, miss Jillian. She is not one to be trusted.
*Zeta goes back to glaring daggers into Vaseraga, who in turn doesn't look at her, instead at Lecter and John, cause he half expected them to have his back.*
Vaseraga: You both disappoint me.
*Zeta ignores Vaseraga, and smiles at Xan, before leaning on her heavily.*
Zeta: Healer sounds good. Thank you, as well.
*She's starting to think that Xan isn't that much of a monster like she thought she was, so d'awww, soft spot for kitty.*

*Eustace doesn't say much as he (tries to) help Sasha in her massive armour that would weigh more than he could carry, but he's there as a walking stick, if anything.*
Eustace: Confrontation with Zeta and Vaseraga. He may be caught up in it.

*Dr looks over from couch*
Excuse me for saying this but of you spent the amount of time and effort trying to not kill each other on fighting whatever the hell that giant storm is... The one that's lit up a entire sky for days and seems to be unnatural as they get.

It would be gone in a short time I'd bet.
It seems more pressing than a book right now?

*Major cannot help but see sense but stays quieter*

*Jillian takes a long drag on her cigarette, and nods.*
Jillian: As you say, Zeta.
*She turns to regard Vaseraga, and stares at him for a moment before replying.*
Jillian: We will see.

*John has been quiet this whole time, and shrugs at Vaseraga.*
John: Vase buddy not to be downer or anything but six-shooter chick has a point...
*He then scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.*
John: And I agree with Horus, why don't we get some drinks, and try to relax.
*He almost looks disgusted as the doctor reminds them about storm.*
John: That... is also very true.

*Sasha makes a frustrated sigh, partly because of her injuries and the situation.*
Sasha: I'm sure John isn't helping... Why are they fighting?

*Vaseraga keeps his arms crossed, and does not seem pleased with the outcome.*
Vaseraga: I do not drink. Nor do I remove my helmet. Call it a habit. I will return to the forest to converse with my companions. Do with the traitor as you will, but mark my words, I will return.
*And with that, he turns, and starts stomping off.*

*Zeta's eyes follow Vaseraga as he walks away, then she breathes out a sigh of relief.*
Zeta: Glad that's over for now...
*Her eyes then fall onto Jillian again, and she breathes out.*
Zeta: The book is in the forest. I buried it while I was coming here. Should be safe for the time being, but I have fears the storm will make reaching the book quite difficult.

*Eustace shrugs to the best of his abilities, cause Sasha is big and would probably impede that.*
Eustace: Resolution of a theft. You talk too much.
*He gets close enough to hear Zeta tell Jillian where the book is, but makes out like he didn't hear it, cause his cat ears hear more than normal peoples'*
Eustace: Call out to them so I am not shot on site for touching you.

*Horus goes to the medbay and rummages around for medical supplies*

*Xan smiles back and puts a arm under Zeta's shoulders to help support her*
Xan: Yes! I can heal! I need things to heal though, I not have my... my... *She searches futilely for a word*
Xan: Things.... But I can help!
*She looks eager to help and grabs a towel from the counter to try and wipe away some of the blood*
*She looks over at John and frowns*
Xan: Drink? No no no, not for me. You have, keep to yourself.
*Finally she turns to Jillian and bows her head, something that obviously she doesn't seem to want to do to a human.*
Xan: Thank you Jillian... You help Zeta. You good.
*She nods once to Jillian then goes back to trying to clean up Zeta*

*Lecter moves away from the wall and would rub his hands together if they both didn't have a weapon in them*
Lecter: A drink sounds good to me.
*He would explain why he didn't side with Vaser, but he already left so the Devil Hunter just shrugs*
Lecter: I have a feeling we'll need a round before we move on to the next part in this war.

*Jillian nods to Zeta.*
Jillian: We will see to it later, for now go get healed up. Afterwords we will go to it.
*She puffs her cigarette, and nods to Xan.*
Jillian: No need to thank Xan, just trying to do what is right.

*John nods, and smiles at Lecter.*
John: Sounds good! I wanna be a little buzzed before we go fight those monsters!

*Sasha looks slightly angry, yet keeps a somewhat sensible tone.*
Sasha: I would like a little information from the random person who put their hands in my insides, is that too much to ask? And you also have cat ears, I've never seen that shit before, so try to understand 'buddy' why I am being so quizzical.
*She rolls her eyes, and sighs.*
Sasha: No one is going to shoot you, just help with the door already.

*Zeta nods to Jillian, then lets herself get healed or something, though she's slightly squeamish when it comes to her own wounds so she looks away most of the time.*

*Eustace doesn't react, and opens the door with his free hand.*
Eustace: Fine. You forgot about that creature that you was here earlier. It disappeared soon after you passed out.
*He knows about that cause he was literally watching everything from his sniper perch, and although he thinks the creature could be a big deal, he doesn't react in any way.*

*Horus returns to Xan, Zeta and Jillian and hands over a medkit*
Horus: Here you are. One of you should probably do it, my hands are too large to deal with wounds like that.
*He stays for a bit, but eventually decides to join the other lads in the bar where he downs several pints of bourbon*

*Xan nods and takes the medkit, then helps Zeta out of her armor piece by piece so she doesn't have to work around it. She cleans wounds, bandages them, and after sniffing the contents of a number of bottles, finds a few of the right things to help dress the wounds with to ease pain and speed up healing. All in all she does an above average job, something you'd either have to be trained well to do, or have an extreme amount of natural talent. It's obvious however, that this is far from her first time dressing wounds. Once done she stands back to admire her work*
Xan: There! You feeling better?
*She goes to the kitchen sink and washes her hands while looking at Zeta*

*Iris and Hanna walk to the main room. Hanna sits on the couch watching TV while Iris walks towards the kitchen to get something to eat. She appears to seem rather down as her tail droops, dragging along the floor and her shoulders are slumped*
