Thanks for the second character option Zeus. Though I think we should limit it too that so that players don't get overburdened. Also, just another personal suggestion, but maybe this game could benefit from having a discord chat so the players can discuss matches and promos and such? :)

@Deadlyrose9641 Capitalize Name and Alignment, and change "make fun of the fans and there beloved heroes" to "make fun of the fans and their beloved heroes." Sorry, I'm pretty strict when it comes to spelling and grammar.
Then go ahead and post in the Chars tab.

@iGeorge Yeah I'll look into setting up a discord.

Also, tonight (EST, I live in Canada), I'll post the card for SHOWDOWN SATURDAY NIGHT. Stay tuned.

@iGeorge Maksim is accepted, I was wondering when somebody would make an evil foreigner heel. The only thing I question is the idea of this supposed powerhouse throwing a dropkick.

Also, I've updated the roster page and you might have noticed that North Nephro is going to be our starting World Champion, with Dr. Lazarus Monroe as the American Champion, which is our secondary title. The long term story direction will be clear once the card for Showdown is posted later. I've tried to make sure everyone is involved in an angle of some kind, but it will really be on you guys to make it all work.

Loving the new look of the character list dude. Once again, thanks for making The Lobster your champ. I won't let you down. Hopefully when people see how fun this is, they'll come over. ^^

Here's the run-down for the card. Don't be afraid to post here or PM me if you have any questions or concerns.

SHOWDOWN SATURDAY NIGHT! Live on NBC!
Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York
January 19th, 1985

Match 1.
Winner Advances to the Main Event Tonight: Rocky Davies def. Chad Eagle to become the #1 contender for the GPW American Championship.

Segment 1.
Backstage interview with the American Champion, Dr. Lazarus Monroe. He talks about the match that just happened, and his title defense against Rocky Davies later on tonight.

Match 2.
3-on-1 Gauntlet Match: Barry Doomsday def. THREE Local Competitors. Complete destruction.

Segment 2.
Backstage interview with Sexton P.S. Love hyping GPW's first national TV show, and hyping his upcoming match with The Masked Magician.

Match 3.
The Masked Magician def. Sexton P.S. Love using some kind of trickery. (MAGIC?!?!)

Match 4.
Maksim Romanchuk def. Local Competitor. He can take the mic after and trash the USA.

Segment 3.
GPW World Title Presentation. Nephro is presented with the new GPW World Title belt, interrupted by Barry Doomsday. Heated confrontation, neither man backs down. This is the money angle, it's going to set up the main event at our first pay-per-view.

Match 5. Main Event.
GPW American Championship: Dr. Lazarus Monroe def. Rocky Davies to RETAIN the title. Despite having a match earlier, Davies still puts up one hell of a fight. At some point, have the ref get inadvertently knocked down. Davies has the cover, but no ref. Davies is going to be chasing the belt long term.

Incidentally, in regards to Chip Samson, as a brit m'self It's great to know our boys haven't been neglected in this little game of ours. After all, arguably we were doing the whole ''Sports Entertainment'' shtick at least 10 years before the yanks. Ok, we were more into granny packed Bingo Halls that big stadiums at the time, but it still counts. :P Wikth a personality like Chip's I can see him coming out either to Happy Hour by The Housemartins or Going Underground by The Jam. But that's just my opinion.

Nice to know I'm supporting the minority here ;)
I'm an Aussie, which is why my first character is one too, but I though being a Brit would add some uniqueness to Chip's character.

Oh, and I just listen to Going Underground. Me likey.

Chip is good, just bold the things you need to bold.

And yes you can go ahead and start posting in the IC if you wish. Just be sure to include a title in your post with your match/segment number.

This goes for everyone, the show doesn't have to be posted in order, because once all of the segments have been posted I'll collect them together and arrange them properly. So feel free to post whenever you're good to go. Again, I just ask that you include the match or segment number in the title of your post. Helps to stay organized.

Solid idea for Masked Magicians valet, makes sense he'd have a magician's assistant. You don't need to do the whole thing in purprle, jsut the titles. Have a look at some of the other sheets. I'd also add some more detail to the gimmick section, just to tell us a bit more about her personality since she's mainly going to be persoanlity-driven and not n in-ring competitor.

She doesn;t need a wrestling style and moveset since she's an 80s manager. Also it's esepcially unrealistic to have a female high flying manager that does standing moonsaults in 1985. Like I said, if she's a valet she doesn;t need wrestling moves.
