@Jbcool Again, still waiting for @Wraithblade6 to respond. He doesn't really have an excuse, either; he was last on 11 hours ago.

Yea, at this point, we'd be able to move forward with him even just saying to keep the conversation going a bit longer while captain metal-pants catches up.

I don't know what i am waiting on.

I guess i haven't got the spark to do a post.
Since i mostly structure my posts around.

-"Oh, i can do this thing!" And then proceed to do that.
To many poor NPC's and some PC's great displeasure.

Sorry I've been away from this for so long. I will go try to post something today. I just don't know where we're going with the story and feel minimal motivation.

Okay, now... there's random chance, there's luck, and then there's just damn impossible.

Vespin had a map, was running with practically nothing on him, and went through vents and shafts that only a ratling would be small enough to get through to get ahead of Oscar and the prisoners, on an even higher floor. He didn't even take the same path Oskar's men did from the prison, because it didn't go where he was planning to get to.

The foot of Cuddles, the Holy Emperor's own pet rabbit, wouldn't have the luck you'd need to get a tech-marine in damaged armor behind Vespin within any reasonable amount of time for his arrival to have any affect on the conversation. The commissar with the horde of ratlings would have showed up before the tech-marine would have gotten behind Vespin.

Also, Vespin is a ratling, a trained sniper, and deals with thieves and other criminals on a regular basis. A space marine in fatigues would have a hard time sneaking up on him on a catwalk, coming out of a metal hallway. How did one wearing tech-marine armor pull it off, when he has no reason to be quiet?

..... could we agree it's not exactly important? It's been months and nothing has happened.

Because if I'm honest. Unless we get some momentum soon I'll be bowing out.

I'm not going to actually do it, but I'd like to point out, Vespin would be well within his right mind to turn and gun down the chaos-looking, fully armed and armored, and very, Very obnoxious sounding, possible tech heretic who apparently casually strolled out onto rafters hanging in the middle of the room with the Very big gun he has.

But, like I said, I'm not actually going to do that. Just pointing it out.

@Necroes You could do that. It's very reasonable. Since Vespin heard Xeph approaching, I'd assume he would have reacted before Xeph was that close, and if he looked like he was lifting his weapon, Xeph would take cover. That's what would happen. You can write it in if you want.

Edit: Actually, screw it. I'm just going to go with the group and deus ex machina my way into the superior position. Once there, I can put us in a position to be heading towards the goal. Which seems to be what everyone is so gung-ho for.

Im calling BS @Necroes Vespin couldnt pay officers enough to assist you in a mutiny not most of them anyway. Because if they where ever caught they would all die horribly. Once we get to the bridge we kill the senior staff and some of the junior officers and take the ship. Once we have stolen it, everyone on board is a fugitive and we jettison those who resist into space until the crew works for us.

(also, you simply traded bullshit psyker powers for bullshit crimelord powers Eg: you apparently already control the ship and most of those in it.)

Edit: not to mention you host a black market for arms, and drugs. you pay officers to look the other way when you bring a few crates of stimms and illegal bolt-guns on board. not for ignoring a mutiny.

I didn't say they were on his payroll. I said he was in a position to get them to believe him if he told them the captain had issued orders through him. That's a somewhat odd thing to occur, and normally people would question it. However, Vespin knows which officers won't question something odd happening, because the ratling is involved.

You're right, he can't get them to ignore a mutiny. He can, however, convince them everything is fine, when the captain suddenly has him issuing orders to the crew when that normally wouldn't happen.

you know what, fuck it. i dont even really care. its just awful convinent that you have all these officers in the right position to stage a mutiny with little to no resistance. you are metagaming just like you where with the psyker. but fine, whatever ill shut up just to get though this damn take over and move on.

That's exactly what I said I'd do. The whole point was to get us to where we were going. I didn't want to, but you all seemed so hellbent on doing whatever was needed to get us to controlling the ship, I Literally said screw it, and did that.

Which you then thanked me for saying, I'd like to add, @Sophrus.
