Kagura

Kagura sighed as she plopped down on her bed, glad that this year she'd managed to score a single room all to herself. She was in her third year at university, one year ahead of Yuki and Tohru. Momiji was starting university this year as well, in year one of course. Kagura shut her eyes as she spread her arms out beside her on the bed. Having a few moments to relax was exactly what she needed.

After a few more silent moments, Kagura sat up. She should probably start unpacking the boxes that littered the floor of the small dorm. But she hated the idea of unpacking, so she let them be. Standing up, Kagura smiled softly and walked over to her vanity. She opened a box near the vanity, glad her brush was right on top, and ran the brush through her hair. She hummed quietly to herself as she did so, her mind wandering to other things.

Ever since Kagura had entered university, things had been stressful. First, Kagura had lost the love of her life, Kyo. He wasn't gone or anything, he simply chose Tohru, which broke her heart. But she was slowly getting over it, despite the fact that it had happened a while ago she still hurt over it. She'd spent her whole life loving Kyo, she was finding it very difficult to not love Kyp if not simply out of habit. She didn't even know if Tohru and Kyp were still together. Tohru had purposely not mentioned the orange haired boy around her, and Kagura hadn't asked.

Kagura set the brush down and turned back to face her room, biting her lip in thought. She didn't know what to do with herself, since she was pretty much okay with doing anything that didn't involve unpacking, that left her say wide open. Classes didn't start until the following day.

Kagura left her room, walking down the hall and to the stairs. The girls in her year all stayed in the same floor, the boys of her year on the floor above. Yuki's room was on the floor below her, since he was a year under her. Walking down the stairs, Kagura made her way to Yuki's room and let out a breath nervously. She knocked lightly, waiting for a response. When she didn't hear one, she frowned. "Yuki?"

Momiji

"This is my first year, I'm so excited! I wasn't sure what to expect being in university but it's actually really fun!" Momiji continued to prattle on as he stood near a group of students getting their identification cards. The cards were used for school lunches in the cafeteria and for the library, so Momiji would need one. He'd been going on for the last thirty minutes about his excitement, and he was sure that the others might be a little annoyed. But he couldn't help himself, he was just so excited!

Finally getting his card, Momiji looked down at it with a huge smile on his face. "Oh goodie! Now I can eat all the sweets I want!" Momiji exclaimed as he bounced on the balls of his feet.

"He's in university and still acts like he's in middle school. Is that normal?" Momiji heard a boy mutter behind him. True, Momiji was technically an adult now and he had stopped wearing the female uniforms, now able to dress how he wished since university didn't have uniforms. Yes, he was wearing pants and a shirt today, but he didn't see a reason he couldn't still be himself. He still had a child like spirit, despite not being a child, and he was fine with that.

Turning around, Momiji smiled "I might act like a kid but that doesn't mean I'm not normal. I just like having fun!" Momiji said, his face sad at first but then when he mentioned having fun he laughed.

He took his I.D and ran off, laughing as he exited the building and raced over to the dorms. The university was small, so years one through three all stayed in the same dormitory. All the year four students had their own building, not too far from the others. They got all the cool perks in their building, due to being in their final year.

Walking into the dormitory building, Momiji grinned when he saw someone he absolutely adored. "Tohruuuu!!!" Momiji yelled and then raced over to the brunette. She wasn't taller than him anymore, since he'd hit a growth spurt he was actually a couple inches taller than her. "Oh Tohru this is so much fun! I just got my identification card and I can't wait to eat sweets with it. I found my dormitory earlier, though I have a room mate. I wish you could be my room mate. Then we could snuggle every night and tell ghost stories. Though," Momiji put his finger on his chin in thought, "We might not get much studying done if we spend all our time telling ghost stories," Momiji stated with a small frown.

He didn't chance giving her a hug, as there were other people around and he didn't want them all knowing his secret. Over the years he had realized he couldn't keep putting their curse at risk and he needed to be more careful, like Hatori had told him so many times before. Momiji missed bugging Hatori, it had been one of his favorite things to do. But now he would just have to bug Kagura and Yuki, though that wouldn't be as much fun because they didn't get irritated with him as easily.

Yuki

Due to connections the Sohma family had Yuki, despite only a second year, had been given his own room. He did have to share the dorm room with one other boy but since they had their own other room, Yuki was granted the solitude and privacy he desired. He never saw any use for the shared bathroom or living room and intended to stay in his own room when it came to studying. After everything that had happened, he still found it difficult to break the habit of keeping those around him at arm's length. The slender male had finished moving from one floor to the other, his own boxes expertly labeled and organized according to its contents. There was a correct way of doing things and he liked to keep order, even when simply moving from one dorm to another.

Over the summer Yuki could have gone back to live with Shigure but he didn't wish to, so instead he stayed in his old dorm he had during his first year and paid for it out of his own pocket. Yuki had a part-time job working at a local convenience store. It was easy work but it still paid the bills and gave the dark purple haired male the independance he so craved. Yuki stepped out of his room, a bit tentatively. He had properly introduced himself to his other roommate but had no intention of becoming anything more than mere acquaintances.

His focus was on doing well at school and getting a job and creating all the more distance between himself and the other family members. Yuki had been given a taste of freedom and so he refused to go back to being a coward, a fearful child. Moving to the door, he opened it and walked down to the end of the open hallway that overlooked the campus. He slipped a few yen into the vending machine and a can of soda clanked down. He bent down to pick it up but saw another had mistakenly dropped down as well, despite having only paid for one can. He stood up and held both in his hands, a bit bewildered at the luck.

With a shrug, he silently walked back to his dorm and closed the door behind him, slipping his shoes back off in the entry way. He stepped into the living room and set the spare can on the table, using a wooden thin coaster of course. He cracked open his own can and took a sip. It was cool and refreshing. Yuki knew he wanted to make plans with Tohru, Kagura and Momiji but he hadn't known when the best time was to track them all down.

Even though they were attending the same university, it was still tricky to meet up. They could leave notes for one another but Yuki resolved to find a good way to stay in touch. Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't heard the knock but the feminine voice certainly broke through his train of thought. "Y-yes? Is someone there?" He spoke up and gracefully strode back to the door and opened it, hoping it wasn't someone for his roommate. "Ah, Kagura. Please come in." Yuki stepped aside, motioning her inside with his arm.

While smiling wasn't something he often did these days, his lips did curve up in a slight smile to show his appreciation for her visit, even if it was unexpected. "How has your summer been? Oh, you're welcome to help yourself to the soda there, I ended up getting it as an accidental extra." He commented as he took a seat on the small low-sitting white cotton couch. In front of them was a traditional kotatsu as well as a small tv and a cupboard which supported it and acted as storage. In the corner of the living room was a small fridge and atop it sat a microwave. "I know we haven't spoken in quite a while, not since spring term ended...how are you doing?" He asked carefully as he took a drink.

Tohru

It had been with a heavy heart that Tohru had to end things with Kyo. She cared deeply for him, just as she did with every other Sohma who had touched her life but Kyo was too restless, too stuck in the past. In the end, she and Kyo had agreed to go back to being friends. Kyo begrudgingly admitted that he needed to work on his own problems and that he didn't want to be a burden to Tohru. She tried to assure him that he was never a burden but he decided to drop out of university. He went back to live with Shigure so he could train. Last she had heard, he was considering seeing a counselor within the Sohma family which Tohru was happy to hear. She wanted Kyo to begin to heal his emotional wounds and scars and hoped he would focus on his own well-being and not just with wanting to one-up Yuki needlessly.

So Tohru did her best to encourage Kyo but there were times where he'd shut everyone else and go hide in the mountains. There wasn't much she could do, sadly. She had to believe Kyo would find his way and that she couldn't fix everything or take care of everyone. But she could still cheer him on as he went on his own journey. Over the summer, Tohru stayed at the school, wanting to give Kyo some space but she did stop by every so often to share a meal with Shigure and Ayame and even Kyo or Hatori. All in all, Tohru was glad to be going to university.

The first year had been very stressful. But Uo and Hana were only a letter or phone call away and that helped immensely. Plus she had Yuki and Kagura to help her through the tough times. Her mother would be proud to see her going to a good, small university. That thought was one that kept Tohru going. And she knew, like Kyo, she was growing up and learning to make tough choices and improve herself. She was also working on being a bit less gullible and clumsy, bit by bit.

Tohru had move from the first floor of the dorm to the third, where the girls in her year were housed. The housing had six floors for the first three years and the fourth years got their own roomier, fancier building. She was the floor under Yuki but she also knew Momiji's floor was just under hers, funnily enough. Tohru felt so lucky to have such good friends close to her and wished Uo and Hana had come to the same university but they had picked a bigger one another town over and to her knowledge, Hatsuharu had done the same.

Leaning against the rail overlooking the school, she enjoyed the warm breeze. In the back of her head she knew she needed to talk to Kagura. Tohru valued their friendship very much and though she Kyo had broken up five months ago, she wanted to tell Kagua but hadn't found the right words yet. Hearing a very happy and familiar voice, she looked over to see none other than Momiji. Even though she had been around many Sohma males over the past two or three years, she still had to fight the urge to hug them, espicially Momiji. "Momiji! I'm so glad you're here! I wish we could be roommates too, I know we would have so much fun!" She agreed with a smile as she stood up though noted how much taller the half-German had become. He could certainly rival Yuki in the looks department. "Of course you can still visit me anytime." Though she also had a roommate, Tohru was pretty sure Momiji would be a welcome guest all the same.

"Why don't I help you unpack? Then we'll reward ourselves with something sweet at the cafe." She suggested to Momiji. Tohru didn't have much to unpack herself and she figured Momiji probably did since it was his first year. From what she could tell first years tended to bring a lot of stuff without realizing the dorm rooms themselves were a bit small. "Oh, by any chance have you heard from Kyo at all?" Even though they weren't together, though no one really knew yet despite it being cut off a while ago, she still worried about him. She suspected he was either still with Shigure or off training but she hoped he wasn't isolating himself again. "He hasn't returned my letter and I thought you may have seen him around the estate or at Shigure's." She tilted her head.

Kagura

Kagura smiled softly as she walked into Yuki's room. Seeing him made her feel more at ease, being away from Kyo the last few years had been hard. It had been staying close to the Sohmas, that got Kagura through the rough time. They all knew how torn up inside she was over the orange haired member of the family, and they'd all done their best to make her feel more at ease. It was something she was very grateful for.

Taking the soda off the table, Kagura held it in her hand and smiled happily at Yuki, "Thank you, that's very kind of you," Kagura said in a soft voice and lopped open the soda, taking a sip. She took a few steps toward Yuki, before sitting on the other side of the white couch, her hands holding the sods resting in her lap. She looked down at the can, thinking for a moment.

"I've been okay, I didn't do much of anything during the summer actually. I spent most of my time at the Sohma estate, just trying to keep myself busy," She said honestly and looked up at him. Her eyes, she was sure betrayed the sadness she felt from time to time, not matter how hard she tried to hide it. She hoped that he wouldn't bring up Kyo, though she knew Yuki and couldn't see him doing something like that. Yuki had always been so gracious to her, so understanding. Kagura had always admired him for how compassionate he was towards others. Whenever she got that passionate, she got violent. It came with being the boar. Maybe it also was somewhat Kyo's fault as well. They're relationship had started sparring, so maybe it had something to do with that as well.

Kagura took a sip of her soda and then looked back up at Yuki, "How was your summer? Did you do anything exciting?" She asked curiously, truly interested to know what he had been up to the last couple months. She knew that Yuki enjoyed gardening, a lot actually. It was a hobby that they shared, though Kagura couldn't remember if Yuki was aware she also spent a good portion of her time gardening. They had always been friends, but never super close.

Kagura had debated asking Yuki to start a gardening club with her, certain that he would like the idea. It would give her something to do, but she also didn't want to make Yuki seem like he had to say yes because they were family. She knew that some members of the family often looked at her with pity, because of everything that had happened. She hoped that Yuki didn't look at her that way.

Momiji

"Okay!" Momiji said in a cheerful voice, bouncing in the balls of his feet and grabbing hold of Tohru's hand, leading her towards the stairs. "Let's go!" He said and ran up the stairs, making sure not to go too fast so that Tohru could keep up. He was so happy that he was here with Tohru, Yuki, and Kagura. He had been really nervous to start university but with his family and friends there he knew everything would be fine. Of course, there was always the possibility one of them could transform in public and reveal their secret. But, after four years of public high school, Momiji was sure they all would be okay around normal people. They managed to get through high school without revealing the curse, what was four more years.

Finally reaching his room, Momiji slid the door open and walked inside, holding his arms out he turned to face Tohru,"This is my room! Well, actually this is the living area, the two shoji screens section off the two bedrooms from the main space. But I'm sure your room looks the same huh? It's not too bad, the rooms are small but I don't need a whole lot of space," Momiji smiled and dropped his hands to hang at his sides.

"But being in university is so much fun! I only have three classes a day so I have plenty of time to study or get coffee or go swimming. I can't wait to go to my classes and meet my new class mates. Have you met your room mate? My roommate is so cool Oh! Tohru, guess what his name is? Hatori! How funny is that? I got roomed with Hatori. Well, not our Hatori but still," Momiji said all this in a rushed voice, as he often did when he got excited. He knew that Tohru was used to his babbling at this point.

Remembering that she asked about Kyo, Momiji's smile dropped a little and he put his finger on his chin in thought."Uhm, last I heard he's still staying at Shigure's. Though I heard he recently started seeing a therapist at Sohma house as well. I don't know much actually, just what I overheard Shigure and Hatori talking about before I left Sohma house," Momiji said in a sad tone, knowing that Tohru still cared deeply for Kyp. Momiji would never admit out loud that he had always harbored feelings for Tohru, she was the only one who really understood him. Most people just tolerated him, but Tohru and Momiji had always been close.

Momiji spun in a circle, doing a sort of ballet move as he looked around the room. "Hey Tohru, we should order take out. If we're going to unpack we will probably get hungry huh? We should order some yummy food to eat while we unpack!" Momiji said and smiled wide as he looked at Tohru, his eyes alight with happiness.

Yuki

In the back of Yuki's mind, he had to wonder about Kyo since Kyo had been the major reason why he hadn't gone back to the Sohma estate or even back to Shigure's over the summer. Yuki had lost the patience for the hot-headed cat and wanted nothing to do with him. He also didn't think Kyo and Tohru made a great pair either. They were so different. She was kind and gentle and he was stubborn and reckless. If he knew the two had split up, he would have offered to take Tohru out and make her forget about the dumb cat but instead they kept things fairly superficial and friendly. He didn't wish to pry either way.

Looking to the dark haired girl, Yuki also had to note that he didn't think Kagura and Kyo made much of a great match either. Though Kagura had a temper, she was still a sweet girl who considered the feelings of those around. And in Yuki's mind Kyo didn't seem to deserve either Tohru or Kagura. While he couldn't see what either say in Kyo, he knew it wasn't his place to add his commentary. He knew Kyo was a sore topic for Kagura and like Tohru, didn't want to make things uncomfortable or awkward.

Studying her face, he could see she was still tormented by her feelings for Kyo and he wished there was something he could do to help. Matters of the heart were not something he was familiar with. Even though he had a crazed fan club in high school, he didn't date. The curse held him back from getting close to people, girls in particular. Of course Tohru was the exception to that time honored rule.

And while he cared for her and at times pined for more, he knew that was impossible. And he accepted it. When Kagura asked about his own summer, he had to pause and think about it. "My summer." He repeated. "I mostly focused on work and spent time at my garden. There's a local community garden I go to. They rent out small plots so I've been tending to some crops there but with school beginning I don't have the time to drive all the way there."

Suddenly realizing he may have rambled a bit, he let out a slight chuckle as an apology. Yuki wasn't one to enjoy attention even in a simple one on one setting. Even though Kagura never made him feel pressured or anything, he still wasn't used to holding up long conversations. He was hoping to change that. One of his classes was an Introduction to Acting which he was hoping would help. Even though he was fine speaking in public, as he had been the class president during high school for two years, he needed to be comfortable in intimate settings.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble there." He said quietly and looked to the soda in her lap before drinking a bit more from his own. "It looks like...something is troubling you." While the boy didn't want to venture into the topic of Kyo, he didn't like seeing others hurt. "If there's anything I can do to help in any way...but I do hope you know that anything that has happened remember that just like the New Year celebration we have, a new school year is a fresh start." He said, hoping it would help even just a little.

Tohru

Now that Momiji had longer legs than her, it wasn't as easy being pulled around but thankfully the slightly younger boy was mindful and didn't go too fast. Tohru caught her breath when they reached his dorm room. She made a mental note of what room it was and kicked off her brown maryjanes upon entry. It looked simple, just like hers but she was sure Momiji was glad to have a place to finally call his own. She had to wonder if he was little scared to be living away from home, though home was only 15 or 20 minutes away by car so he wasn't too far from his family.

Since the brown haired girl was well accustomed to Momiji by now, she didn't find it hard to keep up with his babbling and often found it endearing. His energy was often infectious. Unless you were Kyo or Hatori perhaps. But she did find it funny Momiji's roommate shared the same name as the Sohma doctor, though it wasn't uncommon to find people to happen across the same name in such a small country. "That is funny, I wonder if they'll get a chance to meet." She wondered around. It was likely since she recalled Hatori visiting once or twice last year to check up on Yuki's health.

Seeing Momiji's smile fade, Tohru began to regret bringing up Kyo. She knew she couldn't ask Yuki though, since he didn't keep up with Sohma current events anymore. And asking Kagura didn't seem that right. Tohru felt bad about going to Shigure or Hatori but she didn't think asking Momiji would be too bad of an idea. Hearing that nothing new had happened, she didn't know whether to be concerned or relieved.

"I see." She nodded, leaving the topic alone for the time being. But like a light switch, his mood brightened back up and he suggested they order something to eat. "Hmm...sure! There's a good pizza place nearby that Yuki and I used to enjoy ordering from when we had to cram for tests." She suggested to him. She hadn't eaten lunch and it was growing late in the afternoon so she decided a late lunch or early dinner would be good. "Then we can go out and get ice cream, okay?" She would forget her promise to treat him to something sweet, something he knew he'd love.

The pair headed into Momiji's room and closed the door behind them. Glancing to the now taller male, she decided she couldn't wait any longer. Maybe it was because she needed a hug or maybe that combined with having not seen Momiji in ages but she pulled him into a tight hug. For a few moments nothing changed before a bright POP could be heard and a puff of yellow smoke filled the room, quickly fading away to reveal a cute rabbit. Laughing, Tohru pulled back and held Momiji in her arms, thinking back to when they first met at her high school during one of their school's festivals. It seemed like yesterday...

"Haha sorry, I couldn't resist." She smiled, knowing Momiji didn't mind. If she did the same thing to Hatori or Yuki there would be some kind of a slight lecture given about being careful. But with Momiji she knew he didn't mind being so close. "You're just soooo adorable." Well now that he was older, an adult now, it was hard to call him adorable but in his zodiac form, he was still cute like a stuffed toy. She hugged him again, knowing he'd soon transform back. And suddenly he did. Already used to it, she quickly turned around to give the boy some privacy to get dressed. "Maybe it's wishful thinking but there has to be some way to break the curse...don't you think?" She thought aloud, knowing it was probably impossible but she still wanted to try somehow.

Kagura

Kagura listened to Yuki talk about the community garden that he went to over the summer, realizing that had meant he hadn't went back to Shigure's over the summer like she had thought. She hadn't visited Shigure's since Christmas last year, so she wasn't up to date on a lot of things family related. Kagura wondered if the reason Yuki didn't visit Shigure's was because of Kyo, but not wanting her thoughts to linger on Kyo for too long, Kagura pushed the thought from her mind.

Kagura had always thought that Yuki and Tohru would make something of their seemingly close friendship, but they apparently planned to stay just friends, which Kagura found interesting. Kagura had always looked up to Yuki in a way, and sitting here talking to him so easily made her happy. It had been a while since she'd experienced a peaceful sort of happiness, it was a nice feeling.

"I was thinking actually, that it might be sort of fun to start a gardening club at the university," Kagura said and took a sip of her soda, before looking at Yuki,"We should start one together Yuki, and then you wouldn't have to drive so far to the community garden, and I would have something to keep me busy when I'm not working down at the diner," Kagura finished, a soft smile on her face.

Kagura smiled as Yuki mentioned the start of the new school year being a fresh start, and Kagura nodded. She turned to look at him more directly, still smiling," This year, I want to try really hard to start opening up again. It's been long enough since, well, I just really want to start fresh this year. No more moping around," Kagura said, a serious look on her face now. She was determined to start getting over Kyo, and start getting over the sadness that came with getting over Kyo. She knew that she deserved to be happy, and she was determined to do so, to be more like Tohru.

Looking back down at her lap, Kagura frowned,"I want to fix my friendship with Tohru too, I miss her. I hardly talk to her anymore and I'm worried she doesn't like me much anymore since the whole thing. But I'm hoping to fix it," Kagura said her voice soft again.

--

Momiji

Momiji followed Tohru into his room,"Yay pizza! Yay ice cream!" He cheered, arms raised above his head in celebration. Tohru really knew how to make his day even better, with junk food. Momiji might be an adult, but he loved junk food. Especially when it was of the pizza and ice cream variety, or the donuts and cakes variety, Momiji really liked junk food.

He'd tried to start eating healthier lately, eating more salad and vegetables. He just found it hilarious everytime he ate carrots, and would point it out to whoever was around if they knew the secret, that he was indeed a rabbit eating carrots.

Before Momiji could really think to react, Tohru was hugging him and pop! He had transformed. Momiji looked up at Tohru, resting in her arms as his yellow ears moved slightly and his rabbit nose crinkled and moved, "What's funny is I was just about to do the same thing. Tohru! You beat me to it," Momiji said and then an instant later transformed back into his normal self.

Grabbing his clothes and pulling them on quickly, Momiji was glad that Tohru turned her back quickly enough to not see anything. It was always a worry for Momiji when he transformed in front of Tohru, that she saw more than she should when he transformed back. He didn't want to come off crude or like a pervert around her, though he was sure he knew he was neither of those things."I don't know honestly, Shigure and Hatori have talked about the curse a couple times that I've heard, specifically mentioning whether or not there is a cure. Shigure thinks there might be, he seems quite sure actually. But Hatori has his doubts. As for me, I'm not sure myself. It would be good if there was one, because the we could be safe and Akito wouldn't have to die, " Momiji said in a sad voice.

"But at the same time, I think I would be sad if I no longer turned into a cute little bunny rabbit! I mean, I make a really cute rabbit, and when rabbits come find me and climb all over me it's really cute too! I really love being a rabbit, despite how sad it is for the family being cursed and all, " Momiji finished putting his clothes on as he said this and turned to face Tohru, putting one of his hands on her shoulder to let her know she could turn around.

"Tohru? Do you think it's selfish that I like being a rabbit even though it's a curse and Akito has to suffer because of it?" Momiji asked in a sad voice, a thoughtful look on his face."I mean, I don't want Akito to die and I don't want to have to keep hiding from people and being cautious and stuff. But I don't want to give up being a rabbit either. Is that selfish?" He asked her curiously, really interested to know her opinion.

Yuki

A gardening club?

It was an interesting thought but still another place to dedicate his time. But Kagura had a good point that it would much closer and easier to tend to. Plus it might be a way for him to make friends with those who had similar interests such as gardening. He was surprised to hear Kagura suggest such a thing though. He didn't think Kagura would be into such a delicate and tedious task. When he tried to imagine her gardening but could only see her getting upset at something not growing and then just ripping everything out of the ground like an angry boar. He hid a small smile and decided it would be a good thing for them to try together, it would do them both some good.

"It would be work to orchestrate a club, I am taking five classes this term." It was a lot but Yuki knew he could handle it. "But I think it's a good idea, I can talk to someone at the Student Center tomorrow and see how to go about establishing a club." He told her. They would have to pick a time and a place and make flyers but he was sure it would be a worthwhile endeavor. Though he still had to see Kagura gardening to actually believe it. He figured maybe it helped her calm down and find her center. He had to wonder what sort of things she grew. He knew Kyo paled at the sight of leeks so he had to wonder what kind of foods Kagura liked and didn't like.

He was glad to hear Kagura was going to try to better herself and make steps to become a stronger person. "I have faith in your ability to overcome whatever is bothering you and if I can do anything to help, please let me know." Yuki smiled a bit more now, looking to her. He reached forward and place his drink back on the coaster on the table, mostly done with it for the time being. When Kagura mentioned Tohru, his smile faltered.

In his mind it was silly for Kagura to fret over her relationship with Tohru. He shook his head, "Kagura, you know Tohru cares about you regardless of what happened with Kyo...you know she doesn't hold any bad feelings or any sort of grudges. I know you two haven't spent much time together because of him but I don't think you have to worry about losing her as a friend." He tried to assure Kagura. He reached over and placed a hand on her back briefly before taking it away. Even though like him, she was cursed and wouldn't transform into a boar, he wasn't used to giving or getting much physical comfort. Not to mention the abuse suffered by Akito, had made Yuki careful not to get too close to people, both emotionally and physically.

The boy born in the year of the rat thought about Kagura's comment though. Maybe it would be useful to make a plan for them to go to the local movies and maybe grab some ramen afterwards. He had gotten his license, as had Tohru, and he had to assume Kagura and Momiji had done the same. Being able to drive allowed them to do plenty of activities. "Why don't we try to meet for lunch tomorrow if we're all free in the afternoon? If you're nervous about your standing with Tohru, it might help to be in a group setting and then try to approach her when the ice is broken. What do you think?"

--

Tohru

While Momiji redressed, Tohru's eyes lingered on the wall in front of her. Even though he had transformed in front of her many times before, it felt a bit different since he had his growth spurt. He was taller and more handsome than cute, he wasn't the same little kid she first met. Momiji then began to talk about the curse and whether or not there was one. If there was a curse, it had to be broken or fixed somehow. She refused to believe people like Kyo and Haru and Hiro were cursed for their entire lives. It wasn't fair at all and her heart ached, wishing she could help the Sohmas, even the ones who didn't seem to like her much.

She smiled when Momiji admitted he liked being a rabbit.

That wasn't much of a surprise to her and it was a cute image to think about. She had to consider their animal counterparts were a lot like friends. She knew Yuki used his rats to help move things and that if Kagura wanted, she could summon boars too. Feeling his hand on her shoulder, she spun around to look to him. Seeing Momiji so thoughtful and worried was something she didn't see very other. He always kept a smile plastered on his face but she knew he couldn't always be happy. While he was an optimist like her, she knew he had his own problems and concerns and that being happy wasn't possible every second of the day.

Tohru didn't know much about the curse. It was something no one spoke openly about. She was sure the oldest ones like Hatori and Shigure knew the most about it but she didn't like to pry, even if all she wanted to do was help. It was clear that Momiji was torn about the curse, even if he couldn't really decide whether or not to be cursed. She hated seeing him so conflicted about it. He was a kind soul and she wished she could take away the pain somehow.

"I don't think it's selfish. You've had the curse since you were born so I can understand growing accustomed to it and the joy that being close to rabbits brings." Tohru considered. "Still...there has to be a way for the curse to be changed. I'm sure the Sohma history may reflect past family members who have found a way to break it." She wasn't sure and had no way to personally check but if the curse had been part of the Sohma family for centuries, then she had to think one of them had found a way to break it. But to think Momiji may not want to break it, saddened her a bit but her logic was selfish. She wanted to be able to hold Yuki and Kyo and even Momiji without them transforming.

"Your curse doesn't define you though, you're Momiji. Sure you turn into a rabbit but just think if the curse was broken for you, you could hug anyone at any time. And you might be able to date. And if you miss cute rabbits, you can buy one and cuddle it all you want." She smiled to him, reaching out and placing her own hand atop his which was on her shoulder. "It is up to you though, whatever you decide I'll support you!" She still wanted to try and dig into more of the curse but it wasn't her place. "I just want you to be happy." She said, removing her hand as she glanced over to the boxes, knowing they had to get to work before ordering any pizza.

Kagura

Kagura brightened up a bit as she heard Yuki accept her offer to create a garden club with her. It made her very happy to think she would have something to keep her mind occupied now when she wasn't working, provided making the club didn't take too much effort on their part. She knew they would have to make fliers, advertise the new club once it was formed. Kagura went over everything in her head, thinking for a few moments before saying anything.

Kagura didn't realize until a few months ago how much she enjoyed gardening. It was back at Sohma house, she'd merely started because she had nothing better to do with her time. But the quiet tranquility that came with gardening put her mind at ease. She enjoyed watching the things she planted grow, it made her feel like she'd really accomplished something, gave her a sense of purpose. Plus, when she was gardening, her mind wasn't thinking about Kyo, which was always a plus.

"Okay!" Kagura replied with a happy smile,"I'm really happy you've agreed to do this with me," she said, her face lighting up brightly as she smiled wide. Such a simple thing, starting a garden club. But it was the simple things that always made Kagura the most happy.

When Yuki mentioned Tohru, Kagura looked down at her lap, taking a sip of her soda and then placing it on the empty coaster on the table. She knew that he was right about Tohru, she was way too nice of a person to hold a grudge against Kagura for everything that had happened. But Kagura still felt weird about being around her. Maybe Yuki was right about going to lunch, it would probably be the best way for Kagura to smooth things over between them.

Kagura turned to look at Yuki, nodding, "You're right, I know you are. But, after everything... I wasn't nice to Tohru. I wasn't mean to her really, but I didn't talk to her for a long time. I've talked to her since then obviously, but I feel like things have been different. I don't want her to think I'm mad at her, or that I blame her at all because I don't. I know it's not her fault,"

"Lunch would be nice though, we should do it,"

Momiji

Momiji looked at Tohru, his eyes shining slightly as he listened to her talk about the curse. Momiji always thought of Kana when Tohru talked about the curse so passionately. Kana was the only other person that Momiji had known that didn't look at the Sohma family differently because of the curse. After the incident though, after Kana had lost her memory, Momiji doubted they would ever meet someone like her again.

But then Tohru had come into their lives, and Momiji began to hope again that someday the curse would be broken. He wasn't lying when he said that he would miss being a rabbit, and he couldn't picture his life free from the curse. But he wanted to, he wanted the curse broken. He wanted the Sohma's to not have to hide anymore. He wanted to be able to hug a girl without turning into a rabbit. He wanted to hug Tohru and stay human. But if they were wrong, if the curse couldn't be broken, Momiji tried not to think about it. He tried not to hope, in case he was wrong and it couldn't be broken.

"I want the curse to be broken, of course. I think every member of the Zodiac does secretly, Akito most of all. But, we don't usually talk about it out loud, because if it can't be broken..." Momiji said this last part in a sad voice, frowning slightly. He knew Tohru would understand.

"Either way, I'm happy to just be here, at university, with you and Yuki and Kagura," Momiji said honestly. He would be happy still, if he stayed cursed, simply because he'd spent so much of his life with the curse that he'd grown used to it.

"But, we should probably get started huh? Otherwise we will be here all night,"Momiji said with a smile and a laugh.

Yuki

"I'm sure she understands how tough it is to be around her because she's seeing Kyo. She knows how much you love him and I'm sure she didn't want to impose or hurt you in any way." He said. "You're both very thoughtful girls and you have more in common than just your love for cats." And Kyo but Yuki tried to avoid saying that directly. "No one is at fault for anything. I'm sure she feels somewhat guilty he picked her over you and I'm sure both of you feel like perhaps you hurt the other which is why it's tough to spend time together." Yuki considered. While he knew the girls were still pleasant to one another, it wasn't exactly the same kind of fondness the two used to share together as friends.

Tohru had confided in him from time to time about hoping Kagura wasn't upset with her and he knew Tohru would love to reconnect with Kagura and try to get back to being close friends. "If you're truly going to resolve to having a happier life start this new school year, I think you and Tohru should talk. You both miss the other and I'm positive you two can patch things up." Yuki was sure this was a silly misunderstanding for both girls and he was a bit happy that he didn't have a lot of drama in his life.

He gave a nod at the confirmation that Kagura would be open for lunch if it worked out for all of them. He knew which room Tohru was now moved into so he decided he'd stop by that evening to ask and then track down Momiji but he had to assume they were together most likely eating sweets or walking around the campus. Yuki looked up when he heard the door open to reveal his roommate, Tamago. Yuki glanced to him and then back to Kagura feeling like introductions were in order. "Tamago, this is my friend Kagura. Kagura, this is my roommate, Tamago." He said, though they were both Sohma, he never really felt comfortable calling the others family since they were very distantly related, like cousins than siblings.

"It's nice to meet you." Tamago smiled and moved over to hold out his hand to Kagura. He had dark hair and hazel eyes and his other arm was full of recently purchased textbooks.

Yuki got up and looked to Kagura, "Why don't we look around and see if we can find a suitable place for the gardening club, I'd like to give a few suggestions when I approach the school tomorrow." He said to her. He wanted it outside and he wasn't sure how much daylight they had left. Tamago gave them a smile and wave after shaking Kagura's hand and then went to his own room, leaving the two alone again.

Tohru

It was clear the topic of the curse was a sensitive one for Momiji and she felt bad about bringing it up the same way she brought up Kyo. She told herself to be more careful. She knew better and decided to leave it alone. She could tell the members didn't want false hope and she knew it wasn't her place to ask questions or pose solutions when there might not be one. It saddened her to feel so helpless but the curse was something Tohru would never fully understand. And the dynamic of the Sohma family was very complicated and she didn't wish to offend them.

Part of her had to wonder, albeit faintly, if they would be better off without her. If people like Momiji had accepted the curse for what it was, was her presence disrupting that? She stayed rather quiet as Momiji said that the others may want the curse to be broken but that it may never be, just due to it being impossible. She couldn't help but worry about the fate of Momiji, Kyo, Yuki and the others. Hatori for instance, had lived a long time dealing with the curse. And when he met Kana, Akito didn't allow their marriage to happen. She had to think Akito was selfish in wanting Hatori to stay with the family but she didn't like thinking that meant everyone was forced to live alone without every getting close to any outsider.

It felt as though Tohru was already running on borrowed time.

"Mm...yes of course!" She gave a slight nod, her mind still focused on what might become of those she cared about. It was a very curious thought as to whether she was helping or hindering the Sohmas. Was she being a good friend to Momiji or would it be easier if he wasn't friends with someone who, if she tripped, could trigger him to suddenly transform. It was sad to know he didn't have hope or a real need in the curse being broken but she knew she was only projecting her wants onto him which wasn't right. If Momiji was fine with how things were, it would be wrong to want anything else.

She cleared her throat and smiled. "So...did you pack these in any way?" She asked him, bending down in front of one of the boxes, trying to see if there were any labels. "I hope you didn't just shove everything in boxes." Tohru commented lightly, knowing that's what Kyo would likely do. Yuki was more careful than that but she wasn't sure about Momiji and his own habits.

Kagura

Kagura smiled softly as she listened to Yuki talk about Tohru. He really was right, Kagura knew this, and yet. She was still nervous about talking to Tohru. She knew that she shouldn't be, but she was. Yuki sure made her feel better though, as he usually did. Kagura thought about it for a moment, how Yuki had always been good at making her feel better over the years whenever Kagura got particularly depressed.

But before Kagura could respond, Yuki's roommate had arrived. Smiling at the unfamiliar boy, Kagura tucked a lock hair behind her ear."It's very nice to meet you too, "She said in a polite tone, still smiling pleasantly.

When Yuki mentioned going out to scope put good places for the gardening club, Kagura stood up, nodding and standing up. She walked over to the door to Yuki's dorm, pulling it open and walking out into the hall. "We can check towards the back of campus. Maybe there's a good spot behind the main buildings," Kagura said thoughtfully, shrugging her shoulders.

As they walked outside, the sun shining down on both of them, Kagura clasped her hands in front of her waist. She didn't really know what to talk about, so instead they walked in silence for a few moments. Kagura stared down at the grass as she walked, thinking about everything that they had talked about. She knew that making things better with Tohru would definitely make her happier, and she knew that Yuki was probably right in saying Tohru probably didn't even blame her for anything that had happened between them since she started dating Kyo. But still, Kagura didn't know how things would play out for the next school year and it made her a touch uneasy.

"Yuki? Have you ever been in love?" She asked curiously, turning her head to look at him in wonder. Yuki never talked about his personal feelings much, and while Kagura knew much about him, Yuki was still very much a mystery to her. She couldn't understand him as easily as she did Kyo, though Kagura really hadn't understood Kyo as well as she thought she had either. But still, Kagura was confused by Yuki sometimes. He always kept his emotions locked up tight, not like Kagura who wore her heart on her sleeve. She wondered, why he was like that. Was it everything had happened with Akito?

Momiji

Momiji looked around at the boxes that were stacked neatly around the small bedroom. He tried to remember how he had packed them, since he'd put it off until the last moment he was sure everything was just packed helter skelter. But rather than admit that out loud, Momiji just smiled and waved a hand through the air like he was brushing something away.

"Oh you know, it's all just sort of mixed up. But it's okay because I don't really have much. I thought about bringing everything but, well that seemed silly. So, I only brought half of my stuff," Momiji finished with a smile. Granted, half of his stuff was still five or six boxes. "You should see Kagura's room, she got lucky this year and got her own room since she's a junior. But she brought a lot of stuff, at least double what I brought,"

Momiji opened the box closest to him and pulled out a pile of neatly stacked clothes. He pulled out the rest of the clothes, laying them neatly on the small bed and reaching into the bottom of the box to pull out the hangers he'd packed so he could hang all of his clothes up in the small closet closest to Tohru. As he started hanging all of his shirts on hangers, Momiji turned to smile at Tohru.

"This is gonna be so much fun huh? Living so close to each other, we can see each other all the time! Tohru we can spend every day together!" Momiji said with a bright smile,"I mean I'm sure you'll want to spend time with Yuki and Kagura too. Oh, and I'm sure Haru will come visit too along with your friends," Momiji said brightly. He liked Tohru's two best friends, Momiji found them to be very interesting people.

Yuki

Behind some of the buildings would be a good place to look. The soil in the area was pretty good considering their geographical location. Outside the sun was gleaming though it would surely set within the next hour or so. Yuki was confident they would be able to find a place before it got dark though. As they headed down the flights of stairs and down towards the heart of campus, Kagura spoke up, wondering if he had ever been in love. It was a very random thought. He wasn't sure what had attributed to her asking him such a thing. Was her mind back on Tohru and her assuming he loved Tohru? Or was she thinking about something else entirely?

Yuki was quiet as they walked, not relying right away.

After an awkward minute, they reached the back area of the school where the buildings for Administration, Student Services and Health Services. Looking at the underused plot of land, he turned to Kagura, wondering if by chance she had forgotten about her question. Still, it would be rude to ignore her inquiry. "I'm not sure." Maybe that was why it took so long for him to reply to the woman. "I feel like if I had been or was in love...I would know. But I just can't say for absolute certainty." He told her. Love as a concept was one he couldn't quite define. He was used to being an excellent student, always able to answer any problem and yet he had no idea if he had ever been in love. Did he know what it felt like?

He thought of Tohru and how warm and happy she made him feel without needing to try. But he also felt a hint of sadness and he didn't want to think that had anything to do with love. "I think there are different kinds of love for different people. A brother and sister can share a love for one another, but it wouldn't be the same as two people dating. Or a person can care for their pet but it wouldn't be the same as say a teacher caring for their students. Love is very complicated, I am sure some wish to approach it simply but I don't think that's possible."

He bent down to ran his hands along some of the wild weed growing. "I know my response probably wasn't what you wanted, I'm sorry." Yuki said lightly as he stood back up, thinking the area would be good to use, if they were allowed to use it that is. He glanced to her, "Why do you ask?" Was she worried about her love for Kyo lingering, something she couldn't work past? Or was she reconsidering the idea of love in general? "I think this will be a fine area, it's not very big but I think it could work." He considered, already thinking of a few ways they could give each member a small area to use, depending on how many ended up joining.

Tohru

It wasn't much of a surprise to hear that Momiji had likely just shoved whatever caught his eye into boxes. She wished he had been more orderly about it but she couldn't change that now. They could figure it out as they went along. "Alright, I guess it'll be a surprise with every box." She said brightly as she began to open one, using the pair of scissors atop one of the boxes. When Momiji mentioned Kagura, Tohru paused for a moment. She wasn't exactly sure where she and Kagura stood. When she and Kyo became a couple, Kagura became rather distant. SUre, they said hi and waved when around each other but the pair didn't have late night talks or gush about Kyo like they used to.

Tohru felt like she had picked Kyo over Kagura and she hadn't meant to do that at all.

She wasn't sure what to do, if she should approach Kagura or not or let things repair themselves naturally. She had to worry that Kagura was upset with her mad that Kyo picked her over Kagura. It had never been Tohru's intention to steal Kyo away. Snapping out of her thoughts, she nodded. "I bet she's got some great decorations." She commented, knowing how Kagura liked things cute, though Tohru wasn't sure if Kagura had toned tha down or not. Returning to the box in front of her, she took out a few photographs he had picked.

He had a picture of Momo as well as one of his father and mother together. She hoped someday Momiji could meet his sister and tell her the truth. But she didn't bring it up and continued to unpack. She took out some items for his desk and put some of his notebooks on it as well as some empty binders and pens and pencils. When he mentioned how fun it was to be close again, she laughed a small laugh, "I'm sure we'll have lots of fun, Momiji. There's a lot of activities to around here that you, as a first year, should go to." She encouraged. While she liked the idea of seeing Haru and the others, she had been branching out and meeting others, knowing she couldn't bother the Sohmas all the time.

"I ended up joining the baseball team last year." She said to him. She wasn't sure if she'd apply again since she was getting busier as a second year, but she had met some great people. "I think you'd love some of the clubs, maybe we can join one together. They also have outings to go to the ice rink and to go hiking." Tohru gave some examples before she pulled out another picture and placed it on the top of the desk with the others, it had her and Momiji and Haru together on Haru and Momiji's last day of high school. "That was such a fun day, I was so proud of you two." She smiled gently, it wasn't long ago but somehow it felt like it had been taken ten years ago.

Kagura

As Kagura walked beside Yuki, looking around at the grounds of the campus, she listened to Yuki's response. Cocking her head to the side a bit, she thought about it. Had she ever been in love? She was sure she'd been in love with Kyo, pretty sure she still was to a point. But when she thought about it, she realized that along with all the happiness that came with, it came with a lot of sadness too.

"I know that I love Kyo, and I know that he makes me very happy. But I also know that lately, Kyo has brought me nothing but sadness," She said in a soft tone, her voice betraying the sadness she felt. Kagura bit her lip for a moment before looking up at the clouds in the sky. She didn't want to be sad anymore, she was ready to be happy again. She'd spent way too much of her time in the shadows.

"I guess, I just wanted to know if it was the same for everyone. If it felt the same, love, or if it feels different for everyone. I guess," She said and turned her head to look at Yuki, shrugging her shoulders,"I wanted to know how long it takes, for the sadness to go away,"

As Yuki started inspecting the plots they had reached, Kagura stood there with her hands clasped in front of her. She looked at him as he stood back up, smiling at him sweetly."Thank you, for listening to me and trying to make me feel better Yuki. It means the world to me, because I know you don't have to be so nice to me. I haven't really given you a reason to," Kagura said, and bit her bottom lip."So, thank you, for making me feel better," She finished, her smile reappearing on her her face, bigger and brighter this time.

Kagura thought about their club, how it had the possibility to grow and expand into something so much bigger. She was sure that they couldn't be the only two students at the university that enjoyed gardening. When they started posting fliers, Kagura was sure people would join up. Especially since Yuki was involved, even here the girls always flocked to him. But Kagura couldn't blame them, Yuki really was very cute.

--

Momiji

Momiji finished putting the clothes from the box onto the hangers, and he clutched the hangers in his hands and he walked to the closet. Hanging up the clothes neatly, Momiji turned to look at Tohru and shrugged one shoulder,"I thought about joining the baking club. I do really like baking," He said and smiled softly.

"But they also have a dancing club and I really like dancing so maybe I should try that instead," He mused, putting his finger on his chin in thought."What do you think Tohru? Which one sounds better? Cooking or dancing?" He asked her, curious about her opinion. He heard her mention baseball, but he never really was one for sports. He would play them when he visited the Sohmas, but only because he always felt strange sitting out of a sport while the rest of his family played them. But most of the time, he found sports boring.

Looking at the photograph that Tohru was looking at, Momiji peered over her shoulder with a small smile on his face. He remembered that day vividly, as if it had just happened. He remembered feeling so happy that Tohru was there to celebrate with him. Momiji had been sad at first, because he would miss his friends he had made. But since most of them were going to other universities, Momiji knew it was likely he wouldn't see them again. Tohru though, he got to see her every day which was just perfect.

Tohru was without a doubt, Momiji's favorite person. Sure, he loved Yuki and Kyo too, and Shigure and the others. But Tohru was so much like him, they had hit it off instantly. Since then, they had grown very close. Momiji definitely considered Tohru his best friend, but he wasn't sure if Tohru saw him the same way. She had her other two friends, and Yuki and Kyo. Momiji knew she cared about him, but he didn't know to what degree and that thought made him somewhat sad.

Momiji was still looking over Tohru's shoulder, his face close to Tohru's as he thought to himself."Hey Tohru, what's life gonna be like after university? It's gonna be really different huh? We probably won't see each other all the time anymore. That thought makes me very sad," He said, frowning.

Yuki

At the idea of Kagura loving Kyo sincerely, he withheld the opinion that to him, love on some small level had to be conditional, even a little. If Kyo didn't feel the same way, Kagura was only torturing her soul, wanting someone who she would never have. He knew what unrequited love felt like and he was doing his best to move on and accept the relationship with Tohru as it was, not as he wished it could be. Otherwise that love would turn to bitterness and resentment, acting like a poison. Still, he wished Kagura would be able to find a way to stay close to Kyo. Even if he didn't care much for the cat, Kyo did need someone looking out for him and Kagura had been with him the longest. Yuki hadn't a clue why Kyo didn't see what a great girl Kagura was, and how much she believed in him.

"I don't know if the sadness ever goes away but perhaps if you find someone else, someone who shares the same love you do then perhaps there is no more sadness. And in finding happiness with another, maybe they make the sadness brought by other, fade away." It was probably an idealistic way of looking at things but Yuki could only speculate and he knew it wasn't much to Kagura. Even though he and Kagura weren't close, he hated to see Kyo bring her such grief and pain, even if Kyo didn't mean it, he had to let Kagura move on, if possible. He shook her head at her when she thanked him. He didn't feel he had done her much good. "You don't need to do anything for me to be nice to you." He assured her, not needing a reason to care for those around him.

"While I don't feel I was much help, I'm glad you are feeling better." He told her lightly as he and Kagura began to head back. "What about grabbing a drink at the cafe?" He proposed. "To celebrate the birth of a grand new gardening club." He said as he gestured to the small cafe that was run by the students in the culinary program. The cafe offered more of a formal dining setting compared to the casualness of the university's cafeteria. Still, both places took their ID Card which had money on it that could be refilled. It was fairly advanced and a cool concept. Yuki wouldn't mind grabbing a small bite to eat as well, since it was getting close to dinner. He didn't think Kagura had any other plans but he had to assume she did have other friends around campus to spend time with.

Kagura was pretty friendly girl when she didn't allow her emotions to get the better of her. Yuki wasn't much for making friends, even those of the same sex. He didn't have much of an interest in those he was sure he'd end up losing contact with. While many girls tried to woo him, he was used to brushing aside their advances as nicely as possible. It wasn't his feelings for Tohru that held him back, but he hadn't found someone to really click with yet. Since he was beginning to take classes that had to do with his major, accounting, he knew there was a good chance he'd find other likeminded people. Math was a strong suit of his and it seemed like a safe, quiet profession. It wasn't a passion but it seemed like a practical enough choice.

--

Kagura

At the question of dancing or baking, she could see Momiji doing well with either. "Dancing could be a little risky since you have to be pretty close to someone. I think you'd do well with baking. You like sweets. Plus I'd be happy to taste test anything you make!" She gave her two cents but knew whichever one he picked, he'd do rather well. She had to wonder what subject he'd end up majoring in. Tohru had so many interests that she hadn't decided yet but she had this year to figure it out. She wanted to help people, she knew that much. She knew Yuki had considering going into medicine but she recalled him switching to something to do with math.

She had to assume he wanted a safe, nondescript career where he wouldn't accidentally come in contact with the opposite sex. It didn't seem fair to pick a career based on how the curse might affect your life but she couldn't help Yuki find his path, it had to be his own to make. She'd support him no matter what. And the same went for Momiji and Kagura as well. Tohru wasn't sure if she wanted to be a nurse or a teacher or a vet or psychologist. There was so much she felt she could do and it was at times of uncertainty that she wished she had her mother to consult. She could talk to Hana or Uo or even the other Sohmas but she wanted to know more about her mother and what she thought. Her mother never got to see her graduate high school. And she wouldn't see her graduate college or get married.

Though she had faith her mother was looking down below and that her mother's spirit was by her side, she wished she could hold her mother and tell her so much. Even to just hear her mother laugh and to feel her touch, would make Tohru feel so so happy. When Momiji spoke up, she turned, noticing how close he was bending over her shoulder. Her expression softened, "I don't know what will happen...but if we want to see each other, I'm sure we will." She tried to assure him. But the future was risky to predict or make promises in the name of. "I'm sure we'll always be friends. You're one of the most important people in my life." She told him cheerfully.

Seeing that her box was empty, she grabbed another one nearby and looked back to Momiji. She didn't want him to worry about the future. To her it seemed quite far away. But since he was a year younger than her, she supposed he got lonely with the prospect of being on his own when she and Yuki graduated. It happened in high school but she had visited him once or twice when she had a day off with no classes. "I have a feeling once your classmates meet you tomorrow, you'll make plenty of friends before the day is done." She pointed out, certain many girls would be interested in the blond just as they were with Yuki. Each dorm had a phone in the living room that could call outside of the school but to also other dorm rooms, she knew she'd have to order the pizza soon, but thankfully it never took long to arrive as it had lots of experience delivering to the college kids.
