Technology: He carries a deactivated Black Lantern Ring he pilfered off a corpse in the hopes of reactivating it one day. He wears it on his right ring finger.

Personality: Inferno is an arrogant New God, who believes himself to be superior to other life forms in the universe, but will stop his arrogance when he is in the face of a Superior New God, such as Darkseid. Although Darkseid sees him as a loyal retainer, he secretly harbors resentment towards him.

Bio: Inferno is a New God from the fiery depths of Apokolips. He is a general of Darkseid's Parademon army, and is feared across the universe for his fiery powers and disregard for "inferior beings".

He was raised in New Genesis and was touted as a potential herald of justice by the Gods of New Genesis. Darkseid, however, invaded New Genesis one day and abducted the child Inferno and killed his family.

He was raised by Darkseid as his son from then on out, assimilated into the throes of Apokolips. He has traveled across galaxies as a Herald of Darkseid, and conquered planets in his name. He had made himself an enemy of several Lantern Corps, and came to despise the foul bounty hunter Lobo.

Now, Darkseid has heard of the Death of Superman, and sees this as the perfect time to invade Earth. He commands those loyal to him to scout out Earth and the heroes who protect it for the coming invasion.
