Loyal to the cause and his friends, Lucan is a man of much worth. Lucan isn't thuggish by any means, and attempts to treat everyone fairly--a trait hardly seen in Lostgrove. While Lucan is willing to give people second chances, he doesn't believe in third chances, no matter how they plead. A more reserved thinker, Lucan leans towards the bigger picture--thinking of every option instead of rushing in blindly. While this can have consequences, Lucan wants to be the one playing their cards right against the troubles that plague Lostgrove.

While Lucan is skilled with a sword, he prefers the realms of magic as his forte. His primary specialization is arcane, the basis of all magic, but Lucan is capable of producing other types of magic at a lesser extent. However, Lucan's magical abilities are affected by a drawback, waning in terms of power the further away he is from his sister. While most magical texts have been converted to modern languages, Lucan is capable of reading ancient runic alphabets that have fallen into disuse. Additionally, Lucan is a wonderful tactician, and his knowledge of books is full of countering enemies with the use of superior strategies and tactics.

Lucan Bradley and his sister, Cordelia, were the product of an ancient curse foretold by a silly old prophet. Born as twins and under a full moon, the children were slated to do great deeds, but forever bound by an ill omen. Apart, weaker and dead. Together, stronger and alive. Heeding the prophet's words, their parents made sure Lucan and Cordelia were allowed the best they could offer in a land of poverty. The children frequented an abandoned library as scholars, while their father, an aging militiaman, taught his descendants everything he knew as a soldier.
By their late teenage years, tragedy would strike. Bandits struck their parents' farm in search of wealth, which none of the Bradleys had. Lucan and Cordelia's mother was quickly slain in an ambush, but their father went down fighting in order to protect his children. Seeing that the only targets left were two children, the bandits readied their blades for what they thought would be a quick killing, but they had been wrong from the start. Their innate magical talent arose, blasting the bandits into next week with vicious magical missiles and blasts.
The battle was won with ease, but the children were now orphans. Forced to make a decision, they buried their parents on the farm and said their thanks, before leaving for a life of heroism. No longer would they just keep their nose in books while the region of Lostgrove fell to terror. If the nobles wouldn't bother to care about Lostgrove, it had to be the people to stand up to the horrors that befell it. Even if some people believed the prophet crazy and silly, they would listen to their parents' desires and wishes: to bring peace to the realm of Lostgrove once more.

Born with a curse, Lucan is tied to his sister. Depending on the proximity that the twins are apart, Lucan's magical prowess may be powerful or hardly a glimmer of what he could produce. Additionally, if his sister would die somehow, Lucan, too, would also fall dead.
