Lochila, once again, listened to Torunn, and took every single word to heart. It was true that the only downfall on her hypnotizing spell was that the girl could only recollect on what has occurred in the present rather than the past. As a result, Torunn was perceiving this scenario to be the first time she's ever experienced the natures of her powers. The goddess hoped it would be the last time, but after a second thought came to her, once she looked down, and into Torunn's eyes, she just found out that she couldn't do it; the woman will let it go for the time being, not having to waste her power on this, and let the girl find the answers.

For that, the goddess gently shushed her, and pulled her into her chest, hugging her, in the attempt to comfort her from what she had just witnessed. "It's okay. It's okay", she told her, softly, once she started to see her beginning to calm down. Perhaps she should keep an eye on her? Just in case it was going to keep happening? Hell, Lochila knew what it meant yet was reluctant to tell her. Plus, it was going to keep happening, and it was beyond the goddess of mischief's power to even tame it on Torunn's benefit. "It was a burnt out bulb, honey", she said instead. She couldn't reveal anything to her yet. It was all part of her punishment: To watch the girl on Earth for all eternity.

"It's alright", the woman shushed her once again, having to move a piece of her olden hair away from her face. It looks like a platinum blonde in the dark, along with the moonlight peeking in the hallway from the giant window in the main room. "Come on", she led her towards the master bedroom, and allowed her to use the bathroom in there. She decided to keep a close eye on her, and told her that it would be best for her to sleep in the goddess' room for the night, in order to clear her mind from tonight's experience. She also believed that sometime tomorrow would be a good time to perhaps tell her the truth. Besides, unlike Loki, the goddess didn't have it in her to be a pathological liar.

Torunns breathing slowly started to even out as she stared into her mom's eyes. The womans presence was calming all in its own. She took one last deep breath and closed her eyes, standing up straight. Her grip on her mother's arms loosened and she let her head lightly hit the wall she was leaned against. Torunn nodded and opened her eyes again, looking at her mom. "Yeah, just a bad bulb." She repeated as she released her mom's arms.

Again, she nodded her head and started walking to her mom's room. She wasn't sure why such a thing had scared her so bad. Torunn put her hand on her forehead, slowly raking her fingers through her hair, pushing it back. Entering her mom's room, she wasted no time and went to her bed. Torunn climbed up onto it and under the covers. Snuggling down, Torunn closed her eyes and let sleep take her in a matter of moments.

Lochila has been thinking about it all night. How was she going to explain this to her? A nineteen year-old girl who grew up under the wisdom of Earth? A girl who just discovered the pre-tension of having abilities that were not of the human world? It has ruined the goddess' sleep, and she knew for sure that today wasn't going to be any better. It might happen again, and if it does, Torunn would demand an explanation from her. The raven-haired woman didn't want to act like a coward, and keep it in. So, she decided that today was going to be the day. No more lies; no more spells. She was going to look at her in the eye, and tell her what exactly was going on. These thoughts continued their cycle, as she looked in the mirror that following morning. As far as she was concerned, Torunn was still asleep in the master bed during the seventh hour. She wasn't her brother; not in the very least. For the girl's sake, Lochila's wasn't going to use her abilities anymore. The goddess figured that once she was up, she was up. So, around seven-thirty in the morning, she had herself get ready, wait for Torunn, perhaps take her out for coffee, and take a walk through Central Park.

Dressed, the woman walked to the main room, and became internally thankful that the lightning didn't create an explosion out of the lookout window nearby. When Torunn did manage to show up (in the clothes from yesterday, no doubt), Lochila led themselves out of the penthouse, and onto the sidewalk within the busy city. It was early in the morning, with hardly any people in sight, probably due to the same emergency broadcast from the day before. There was barely anybody out, except for a few of the homeless, and a few joggers; not to mention that the few cars were of no surprise. Picking up a French-vanilla cappuccino for herself, and a beverage of Torunn's choice, the goddess led the girl into the park, being about five minutes away from the coffee shop.

Torunn woke up and rolled over to her side. Through her cracked eyelids, she saw that her mom wasn't in bed anymore. Propping herself up on her elbow, she looked around the room. Groaning, she dropped back down on her pillow and shook her head. Nope. Whatever time it was, it was too early. Then, the incident from last night flashed through her memory. And then another. Her eyes popped open and they moved frantically about the room. She had blown several bulbs last night. Rubbing her forehead with the palm of her hand, Torunn sighed and kicked the covers off. The blonde sat up and pulled her legs over the edge of the bed, her feet touching the ground.

Getting up, she grabbed her clothes from yesterday, and went to the bathroom. Her hand went to find the switch, but she stopped. Froze in her tracks and looked up at the light. Dropping her hand, she went inside and left the door open. No way in hell was she turning that light on. She used the restroom and got dressed, then threw her hair up into a messy ponytail.

When the pair went outside, Torunn immediately felt odd. There was hardly anyone out. Normally, the streets are full of people, but now, there wasn't hardly anyone. It was bizarre. Her mom and her walked in a comfortable silence for a while, at least until they go to the coffee shop. She ordered a mocha frappacino with no whipped cream, and took a good long drink as they continued walking to the park. "So," she began, unable to keep quiet any longer. "Still gonna try to convince me that all of the bulbs I blew up were bad bulbs, or fragile from moisture?" She asked quietly, her eyes downcast. She took another drink, feeling the cold drink slither its way down her throat. "I blew up more than one. I remember." Torunn looked up at her mom this time, her face serious.

Lochila took a sip of her cappuccino, just before she heard the voice of the golden girl who walked beside her. Truth be told, on the inside, the goddess was fearful to tell her the truth, but she knew that, sooner or later, Torunn would come demanding for answers. So, Lochila had to build a name, and tell her now. Besides, she couldn't continue lying. In any way, she wasn't her brother. "You want truth?", she finally said, after a long moment of silence. She obviously figured that the girl would say 'yes', so she continued on. "Alright", the black-haired woman looked to the side for a moment, as they continued to walk down the asphalted path. "The bulbs from last night, it wasn't from a natural cause. It was from something far more...otherworldly", the woman paused before adding in a more appropriate word to describe such an experience. "You may not believe me, but...", she paused once again, and this time, she stopped walking. Her emerald green eyes trailed back up to her. "You made them explode last night. A certain power hidden well-deep inside you, has been released", before she could say more, thunder came, and gray clouds began to cover the morning sky. It was strange; first, it was nice dusky morning ray of sun, but then, there is an overcast.

Thunder came again, and a flash appeared behind the clouds, then another. What is my brother trying to say? The goddess wondered, until she spotted a group of people ahead of them. Lochila approached the small crowd, and once she managed to break through, she was left aghast. A man in his thirties was trying to pick it up, but the object didn't budge. It was some kind of sword, appearing to have a silver blade, and a golden holster. The crater was huge with the blade piercing into the ground. "It's from the gods", someone said nearby, who was also aghast to gaze at such an object. The longer the two females stood there, the lightning continued to flash in the sky.

Torunn took a sip from the straw in her drink, looking around at the few people that were out and about. With the straw still in her mouth, between her teeth, the girl looked at Lochilla and nodded when she asked if she had wanted answers. Uhm, yes, she wanted answers. Torunn knew that what happened last night was not a normal thing, no matter how much her mom tried to convince her otherwise. She continued to chew on her straw while her mom started to explain what happened last night. At the mention of the word 'otherwordly', Torunn released the straw and raised an eyebrow at the dark haired woman. She was about to ask a question, when Lochilla continued before she could, and stopped walking.

Torunn noticed and stopped as well, turning her body to face Lochillas. Yeah, she knew that she made them explode, but she wanted to know how and why. "Wait wait wait." She said as she held her hand up as if to stop her mom from talking. Torunn smiled, clearly in disbelief. "I made them explode because I have some sort of... power in me?" She had rolled her hand in circles when she hesitated to use the word 'power'. Surely her mom was joking. Torunn laughed and shook her head. "Come on mom, how did they really explode?" She asked just as the sun disappeared and was covered by clouds. Looking up in curiosity, Torunns brows drew down. Where had all these clouds come from all of a sudden?

She noticed the lightning and tilted he head as if the action would help her figure out what was going on. Then the pair noticed a group of people crowded around one spot. Torunn followed her mom to the crowd and the two pushed their way through the people until they got to the front. It was then that they noticed a man trying to pull out what looked like a sword that was blade down in the ground. "What the hell?" Torunn though out loud. No matter how hard the man pulled and tugged, it wouldn't budge an inch. "What is this? The sword in the stone?" She asked no one in particular with a chuckle. Things were getting ridiculously wierd. First, her mom tries to tell her that she had some super power, and now, some random sword is stuck in the ground in Central Park, and no one can pull it out?

It was a really pretty sword she had to admit, and her attention was so focused on the thing, that she didnt notice the lightning still striking in the sky. Torunn took another sip of her drink, her eyebrows still drawn down in confusion. She started chewing on her straw again while she watched person after person try to pull it from the ground. No one could do it. "Where's King Arthur?"Torunn said sarcastically with another chuckle, her straw still between her teeth. She then turned to her mom and nodded in the direction of the sword. "Why don't you give it try, mom?" She asked with a smile as she released the poor straw, the end of it as flat as could be, teeth indents marring its surface.
