I don't think a specific timeline is official. I have alluded to Tanganyika having a white government, but not announced it. Also, in future posts I'm going forward with the assumption that Rhodesia has a white government similar to what it had in the sixties and seventies IRL.

Here's the thing, don't worry about the tiny forgivable details too much. We'll probably jerk what is and isn't cannon around until it fits. Just worry about the massive do or die details.

In my history, I only alluded to it being shortly after the end of the war, when Germany couldn't sail South to restore order. No specific date was given.

oh no no no no no. Tanganyika wouldn't be independent that early, and they don't have to be. The Germans, being at war with Britain, have a reason to help a Boer rebellion. All we are tweaking is how proactive the Germans are in Africa. Ethiopia's entire change hinges on "What happened if Iyasu V was more proactive about his Central Power leanings and the Germans helped out when the nobles rebelled". That kind of tweak is perfectly fine.

Don't worry about those kinds of details.

That said, if you're buddies with China they would probably be your main supplier.

PoW tends to develop into a commie vs not commies RP so the US and Germany probably wouldn't want to help any Reds.

Second question: Industry was apparently set back a bit, but by how much? Are we still running around with Lee Enfields or has the AK-47 been built yet or what?

It's WWII tech more or less. No jets, no missiles, ect. Anything that requires sophisticated computer systems in a no-no because computers in PoW are more or less primative. Any weapon created before WWI exists. AKs don't exist. We will have to make up weapons that make sense given tech available to us.

Azerbaijan was part of Persia in the old canon, I think. The whole deal was that Persia rocked in there to help the Armenians with their little problem there and wound up just annexing it.

Also, Persia and Armenia were like fuckin' BFFs.
