"Hey, wai-" But he was too late as javelin blew the place apart. Thinking on his feet, he used the drunk legion pirate as a body sheild, hiding behind him and an upturned table.

For a moment, the legion pirate didn't have any idea what was going on. The girl was doing something. Then the cook was doing something else. Before he knew it, he was being volunteered to be used as a human shield. "No!" Dying was one thing, every legion pirate knew that, but dying for an enemy was the greatest insult. He tried to pull himself away, at least enough to allow the force of the explosion to hit his captor but he didn't manage it in time. A surging wall of ungodly heat smashed into him. The one up side was he was killed before his brain could even register the pain, much less damage he was enduring.

The tavern exploded, or at least a large part of it. That was fine. Everyone was expecting that. Burning air forced a few of the weaker combatants to grit their teeth and lean against the burning pressure but the stronger opponents were able to fight on. What came as a shock was the second, much stronger detonation. Not only was it bigger than an explosion caused by cheap booze had any right to be, but also by the fact that everyone's guard was done so even Abbygail, thanks to her closeness was thrown off her feet. Several of the masks men were killed instantly, but that didn't have any effect on the fighting force. Their spirits couldn't be hampered by things like death of alleys. They were the ants of the pirating world, only seeing the enemy, and only understanding that to swarm was to win, and to win was to live another day, or not.

"Hey!" The masked man with the number 8 said. He raised a hand and pointed at the stranger with the sheathed sword. "Someone take care of that guy. He's causing a lot more problems than any villager should." There was a shift in the chaos as several figures rushing towards the burning tavern turned their attention to the swordsman. "No problem." A man with a mask with the number 73 said. "We'll be done with him in a Jiffy." He hefted a wooden stick, thicker than a bat and rushed towards his target. "Come here boy. Let me should you the price of butting in." AS he yelled two other men in metal mask starting hurrying behind the man with the sword. Each held a knife their hand, and were going to lunge forwards once their target deflected #73's blow.

"Damn it!" Abbygail snapped, pulling herself to her feet, and dusting off the dirt. "What the hell was that?" If anyone replied, it didn't do her any good as the ringing in her ears rendered all other sounds irrelevant. "You!" She snarled, eyes narrowing on the man with the number eight. "I'm going to slice you from crotch to chin!" WEapons in hand she started towards the apparent leader of the group.

As the masked man with a 73 on it, Rainer countered the strike with his own blow. In an instance the wooden weapon the masked man used was not only pushed back but destroyed in mid air from the impact. Rainer then continued his strike to become a wide swing, swinging around and striking both of the knife wielding men and pushing both to the side.

“What the hell?!” The man with a 73 on his masked asked surprised as he held what was left of his wooden stick. “What are you some master swordsman?”

Rainer only chuckled at this. “Sorry, but I'm no where close. In fact, if a REAL swordsman saw my technique he might cry.” As he said that he rushed forward, jumping into the air as he began a powerful swing downwards. “I’m just a wanderer.” As the sheathed blade hit 73 he was slammed into the floor, mask breaking on impact, leaving him unconscious.

“Phew. Finally I-” Rainer began only to turn around and come face to face with a large amount of other Legion Pirates, including the two knife wielding ones that had went for him before. “Oh come on guys. Can't we just talk this out?!” He complained as he got ready to battle again.

Some of the pirates hesitated for a bit, unsure if they could beat a man who had knocked out their ally in one swing, only for another masked man to yell, “What are you guys waiting for! Let's gang up on him!!!” He yelled as he and a couple others with weapons charged at Rainer.

“CRAP!!!” Rainer began blocking blow after blow, unable to have a moment to think as one parried strike followed another.

“Can someone help me out here?!!” He yelled as a couple hits got past his defense. If I can't get out of this soon I'm dead!!!

Janet

"Whew~" Janet exclaimed with a satisfied grin. And as expected, outside were more men, though she didn't expect them all to wear masks. "Seems like we''ll be fighting on the same side, don't you think ~?" She joked at Kyy, whom she thinks that he was completely unharmed by her explosion.

She drew out javelins with both her hands, sending one towards the mob attacking Rainer, the scene not escaping her watchful eye as it would explode beside him. The other javelin was sent to the other group within her immediately vicinity, being eager to turn the entire place into charcoal.

Kyy nods. "I guess but who tries blowing up someone who's on the same side?" He asks as he blocks a pirate's knife, sending it skyward. "I'm not explosion proof like you are." He goes back to back with her as a group surrounds them.

"Attack all at once!" Yells one of them. They close in.

Kyy scoffs. "I don't think they know what either of us are capable of. I get the feeling you're plenty strong... unlike these guys." He throws a spear at one while swinging the other. He rushes in and grabs the thrown one before spinning and jabbing at anothe guy.

Crap!" Number 8 shouted as the woman with the purple hair made a bee-line for him. A few of the legion pirates he was put in charge of tried getting in the way, but they were cut down before their presence was able to make much of a difference. One, number 46 came the closest, as the woman's hands were empty of weapons, thanks to her tendency of throwing them this way and that, but she yanked the weighted end just as he was close enough for an attack. It smashed the legion pirate hard enough in the back of the head to shatter the steel and bury blunt end an inch into his skull.

A voice rang out in the chaos. ".....Some.... help..... here!"

The woman's face went blank for a second. Furry crossed her face but it was gone like a fast moving cloud's shadow as it moved in front of the sun. "Damn it!" She snapped. The heel of the woman's left foot slammed into the ground. She swiveled on it like a top before launching herself in the direction of the distress call.

For a moment #8 wasn't sure what had happened, a long with the other legionaries around him, but it wasn't long enough. The weighted end on the woman's chain continued on in his direction, after she altered her direction. The legionnaire in front of him acted on instinct and jumped aside. He didn't. The metal spike dug into his chest as easily as a finger poking into mud. "Crap!" Blood bubbled out of his mouth. He grabbed the wound, but his hands couldn't do much. He sunk to his knees.

Abbygail made her way towards the swordsman's group, but didn't make it there before the woman from the tavern's javelin ignited and sent her flying in the opposite direction. "Damn it." She muttered as her shoulder struck the ground. She bounced a few times before she was able to bring herself to a stop. "Damn." She growled getting to her knees. "Hey!" She called to the girl as one of the Legion pirates was rushing behind her, metal rod raised above his head. "Be careful. Not all of us here are devil fruit users, you know!" The scythe reappeared in her hand. Then it was jammed in one of the legionaries' gut. With a grunt she dragged it up and pulled it out to parry another attack before the man was able to make a grunt of pain.

It was #98 third day on the job. He was also #98's last day on the job. He didn't even have time to reflect on how fast the time went before the spear sunk its way through his body and into the vital bone behind it. The Cook attacking him didn't even take a moment to notice his death. He just yanked the spear out of his body and kept moving. "Dick!" His mouth reflexively muttered before he met his end.

"Hey!" #8 shouted, trembling hand desperately searching through his jacket pocket. "Someone help me here." His fingers latched on the button he needed, but he was trembling too much to maneuver it through the hole.

"No! No! No!" Bill shouted, rushing towards the fallen #8. "Someone stop him!" Three of the legion pirates rushed in front of him, and one brought the heavy man down with a big stick. The others quickly surrounded and started kicking the downed man.

Just before one of the masked men could stab Rainer in the gut, an explosion knocked down Rainer and all the pirates around him. His vision blurred and his sense of balance was lost as he tried to stumble back to his feet. “What the hell.” He whisper looking around only to see a blurry surrounding.

“Somebody stop him!” A blurry figure on the flour yelled.

“Wah?” Rainers vision began getting better before he was finally able to see the man with the 8 on his mask clearly, on the floor bleeding as he seemed to be trying to find something in his pockets. “Dammit man!” Rainers sloshed forward with his weapon in hand. “Go the hell to sleep Asshole!!!” He yelled as he raised his weapon. [Kirisame!] The weapon sped up a few increments, smashing into the masked mans ribs. “And stop calling people!!!!!”

"Hey who the hell are you!"

Musashi opened her eyes and slowly got up from the bags of grains that she had been laying down on and using them as a makeshift bed. She let out a yawn turned her hand to block out the beam of light that irritated her eyes, she was in the cargo hold of a merchant ship she couldn't remember the name of or her current location, as she had simply picked a random ship to stowaway on. She honestly didn't really mind as long as where she went had some decent swordsmen to fight and good food to eat. She picked up her bag a brown weather worn, thing in which she carried around though it was a bit heavier than when she entered the ship. She slinged her bag over the shoulder and walked towards the man.

The man seemed to be a member of the crew most likely the muscle who was going to start carrying out the goods. He was a copper toned man most likely from working out in the sun, he was well muscled and was wearing only an orange vest, baggy pants, and a pair of straw sandals, looking like someone who was from the desert which she found quite odd though unknown to her area she was docked in was hot enough to justify that kind of clothing. As for his weapons he seemed to have a cutlass which his hand was slowly moving towards, however before he could draw the blade Musashi's sword was pointed at the man's throat poking into it and drawing a small stream of blood.

The man hadn't gotten a clear look at her due to the darkness of the cargo hold and now that she was only three feet away from her, he realized who she was. The crew had memorized what kinds of criminals to look out for by memorizing the bounty posters of notable ones at least over 3 mil. The man cried out in fear, stuttering to get out his words.

"The-e Re-d-d E-ye-d Sw-or-ds-ma-n!"

The man leaned against the wall trying his best to get the hell away from her, turns out most of the the crew heard his shouts of fear and started to panic. To be honest this reaction probably came out of her bounty of 10 mil though she thought that was nothing that special, after all that's chump change in the grand line, but in the Blues that made you a notable danger, though she was rather happy that it jumped up from her last bounty of 7,500,000 when she dealt with that bounty hunter team, a few weeks back, she'll take what she could get. She confirmed to the man with a simple light hearted:

"The one and only!"

She removed the blade off his neck and walked up stairs to find that most of the other passengers were backing away from her to which she grinned. She walked to the side of the ship with one of her hands over her eyes to block out the sun. When she was on the edge she turned around and gave two finger salute and back flipped off the side, leaving the crew wondering what the hell just happened.

Musashi got out of there before the marines showed up, as she wanted a meal first and maybe a fine drink, she had taken some bites on the ship, but those were just ingredients and didn't really beat a fully cooked meal. She stopped and asked a man for directions to the nearest pub who didn't really seem to know of her, The man responded nervously:

"There's the Pork's Pub to the East of here, but you shou-"

She stopped listening at the East of here and simply started walking over to the pub putting her hand up and waving goodbye.

"Thank you very much!"

She thanked the man, however the man tried to stop her.

"Wait! You can't go ove-"

It was fruitless, as she was already out of hearing range.

Musashi was irritated about the heat outside and had taken off her jacket and tied it around her waist, though it didn't seemed to have helped much as it seemed to be getting hotter and hotter and she soon found out why the pub she was going to visit was on fire and apparently exploding. There was also these random masked guys attacking the pub. She said to the men:

"You know this might be the first time a pub was destroyed, BEFORE I got to it. Though you should let me on the fun as well!"

Musashi put down her bag and put her hands at her sword crossing them across her chest and dashed up to the men.

"Two swords style: Desert Storm!"

Musashi started off low to the ground before spinning and rising upwards while slashing, sending several masked men flying with red gashes across their chests. Musashi landed after her attempt at literally making it rain men. With one blade leaned against her shoulder and one pointing at the other masked men.

"That it? Cause if it was, I wasn't very impressed."

Janet

Oh, so those fruits are called Devil Fruits, a befitting name. Janet nodded upon the purple haired girl's yelling. Yes, for a moment she'd forgotten that not everybody could explode.

Just then she noticed another person joining the fray, this time someone using two swords. And judging on that girl's target, she's clearly on their side, for now. There are more than enough melee to hold the front lines. Any more would turn her teammates into charcoal also.

For now, Janet would just choose targets that were further away. With another throw of her javelin, she sent the spear deliberately to the buildings. Like usual, the javelin exploded upon touching the building and collapsed on the Legion Pirates' back lines. Consistently, she started sending more javelins to other nearby buildings. She isn't the kind of person to care much about the word 'collateral damages'.

Somebody shouted something. #8 didn't know who it was, much less what they wanted. He was pretty sure it was to hurt him though as was evident by the stranger's aggressive stance and the weapon raised over his head. Some of the men under him were heading towards the guy, but they wouldn't make it in time. The sword came down. #8 gasped as he felt his ribs snap under the force of the swordsman's blow. He tried to let out a long string of curses, or even a single biting one, but he couldn't muster the air. His lung was definitely punctured by a rib. He couldn't tell which one it was, exactly, on account of the whole world swimming in blurs of brown, blue and white, but he couldn't believe both of them were useless. He'd be out cold if that was the case.

"He's after #8" One of the pirates shouted. "Get him!" Several legions moved towards the swordsman. Strangely enough, none were holding weapons. All their hands were stretched forwards. They didn't want to immediately harm the man. Their only goal was for as many as possible to grab onto the man and hold him till the flare could be sent.

Bill, on the ground, surrounded by angry feet digging into his soft body, clung to conscious like a man on a ledge. "Don't!" Was all he was able to get out to the swordsman before air slammed into his gut. All the air went out, and the red light behind his closed eye lids flickered in and out of sight.

"#98!" #97 shouted, as his friend fell from the ground. "Damn you!" He muttered, watching the man pull out a spear and run. "Damn you to hell." Clenching his teeth, the legionnaire looked around for something he could use for revenge before setting his eyes on the general store. Grinning, he rushed over and kicked the door down, or tried to. It took a few good ones before he was finally able to make it inside. He took a moment to search the merchandise before settling on what he came for. "Here we go."

Normally, the boss was against any type of firearms use in the legion pirates, because with so many members of the legion constantly swarming a place, and the shit they had for him, carrying them around did much more harm than good. That being said, gunless was more a guideline than an actual rule. Rifle in hand, #87 hurried to the roof and searched for his target in the fray. The man didn't seem to be doing anything at the moment. So #87 positioned himself with the rifle and took him. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed one of the javelin's from the explosion girl flying towards him. He fought off the urge to run and fired a shot before being reduced to pieces in the explosion.

Abbygail was not only able to parry her attacker's strike but sent the weapon flying into the air. "Why are so many people around here afraid of you guys, again?" A masked man rushed from Five O'Clock, hoping to get her from a blind spot. With a flick of her wrist, she swung her scythe in an arc that got the would be assassin in the neck.

"You stupid witch!" The man in the mask before said, holding his wrist. "Now you're helple..." Abbygail palm struck the stranger in the forehead, snapping his neck back so it hung in such a way the back touched his shoulder blades, and denting the metal cover.

"I'm never helpless." With a twitch of her hands, both weapons returned to her. A group of explosions, from behind her, caused her hair to fly out in front of her. "Ugh!" She turned towards the woman with the javelins. "Quit blowing everything up!"

"Hurry up and close the distance on the one with red hair!" One of the masked men called. "She might not be hurt by explosions but her friends don't seem to work the same way."
"Okay." Abbygail muttered, rushing forwards with her scythe and cutting the man yelling directions down. "That's enough out of you." It was too late though as several of the legion pirates started running full speed in the explosion girl's direction.

"Who the hell are you!" One of the masked men snarled, head moving from the direction of his fallen comrades to the woman with the two swords. He paused for a moment, unsure why it was. Was he, a member of the legion pirates afraid of the woman in front of him? Of course not. Still, he was uneasy. Apparently, that was something the others with him felt too, because there was hesitation in all their movements. It didn't last long. The creed of the legion pirates was 'death for the part was nothing so long as whole won,' or as many of the others said when time was of the essence 'be like the ants.' They all shot forwards. The one at the front raised a piece of wood over his head. Two came from her left, swinging a chain, and the other with his hand thrusting forwards with a knife. The last one, from seven o'clock hesitated the longest. He was a bit older than the rest. Instead of rushing straightforwards like the others he took a few quick steps and launched himself, hoping to smash into the woman's legs and then hold her down for his crew to do the rest.

"Hey #8!" One of the men whispered as he got done on the ground to communicate to his superior. "Are you trying to send up the orange flare?" The leader couldn't speak or not but he rapidly blinked three times for yes. "Gotcha. Is it in the normal spot." Another three rapid blinks. "Alright, I got it." Without waiting for anything to be said, the man behind the mask lit the flare and tossed it towards the street. Before anyone could say anything, a long orange plumb of smoke rushed up the air. It looked like a still, almost harmless glowing tornado.

"That's the signal." One of the legion pirates shouted. "Everyone not currently engaged in combat get out of here." The free pirates all quickly turned on their heels and rushed back from the alleys they had come.

"Oh no you don't!" Abbygail whispered. She flung the waited end of her weapon at a fleeing pirate, causing it to wrap around his legs. He fell with a scream. The purple haired woman, despite the man's thrashing and clawing at the ground, began pulling him towards.
Off to the side, now free of the pirates relentless assault, old Bill curled up in a fetal position, crying and muttering to himself. "It's too late." Over and over again.

Kyy was busy trying to get to Bill when he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He winced, putting a hand to the gunshot wound. "Son of a-" He stops the bleeding with his fruit powers but because of it was slower. But then he heard the legion pirates running. He ran to Bill's side. "Boss... I'm sorry. I couldn't help..."

She stood there for a few moments before responding.

"Miyamoto D. Musashi aka your Grim Reaper! Nothing personal, but you got in the way of my meal."

And with that she threw her sword up into to the air and freed up her hand in which she dashed to the one at her seven taking a lower stance to put her center of gravity under his and grabbed him by the collar, then with strength that didn't seem to fit her petite frame she threw him at the man holding the The chain causing both of them be tangled up by the chain though she had to give credit to the goon that tried to grapple her, taking one for the team was pretty cool and his judgment was excellent though it had been against her and he should have a better timing, though he should have had a more complex way of moving, because he was quite easy to predict. Of course she was going to notice him moving towards her back due how loud his footsteps were and her of course her paranoia about being attacked from the back played a part. Next it was the guy with the knife to deal with and frankly she had no idea if he was the dumbest one or the bravest, coming at her with a knife when she had the longer weapon with a twist of her wrist she cut his wrist with her remaining sword and then proceeded step into his guard and slam the pommel of her sword into his temple causing him to crumple to the ground like a rag doll. Of course the man with the wood tried to take advantage of that and get her open side only for her to catch her sword out of midair and slashed his makeshift wooden club into ribbons. Never mind, this guy was the dumbest out of all of them, what the heck did he think would happen, sharpened metal on wood? She spun around from the left and slash upwards diagonally across his chest with her swords. Then she finished her explanation of why she was going kick their collective asses.

"Additionally, it's also because you bothering the neighborhood more than I do and that's saying a lot. Though I wonder how a bunch of threater rejects ever got together to do that much damage."

"Let go of me you bastards!!!" Rainer yelled as he was struggling to break free of the multiple people grappling him. "I said LET GO!!!" He yelled slamming himself into the ground, causing many of them to let go. At the same time, a man fired an orange flare into the air. Ignoring this, he rushed to the side of Bill. "Oi mister are you okay?!"

And as he said this, the red haired man bent down besides him. "Boss... I'm sorry. I couldn't help..."

"Hey man are you ok? that looks like a pretty bad bullet wound." Rainer said, not actually knowing for sure.

Janet

Janet was about to throw out a Javelin at them, until she realises that the range was too close for friendly fire literally. She retreated, towards the enemy frontlines, slashing her exploding javelin across. I don't like melee combat, but no choice now~ Janet sent a punch towards the now fleeing Legion Pirates, it exploding as it lands.

Retreating? What a disappointment. Janet drew out another javelin. Eyeing the enemy, Janet threw the javelin far away, to a building a couple of distances in front of the pirates. The building exploded, and the burning street cut off a group's path of retreat.

"Hey, who the hell is that?!" One of the legion members stopped to stare at a strange woman with two swords who had several limp legion pirates around her. "She looks really familiar."

"Who cares!" Another pirate shouted. He put his hand on his comrade's shoulder and roughly shoved him forwards. "If you don't know, why would any of the others know."

"But she looks familiar. I think I saw her in a wanted add before. She's probably worth a lot of money."

"Good." The other said, now gaining distance from the legion pirate watching the swordsman. "After we're done, we'll find her remains and get a big reward. Now get moving!"

Reluctantly, the curious legion pirate turned around and hurried along after his comrade.

@Noodles
"You.... You just don't know when to give you, do you little girl!" One of the legion pirates, #56, said as he stared blankly at the remains of the building in front of him. "You couldn't have just enjoyed the short time we were going to give you." #56, along with the six other pirates who had been cut off from joining the rest, turned in unison, to face Janet.

@Crimson Lion@grandia20
Bill, William, the guy behind the Pork's pub's counter, took in a deep breath, before opening his eyes wide in fright and shooting up into a sitting position. Due to the lack of space between himself and his cook, it was likely he bashed his head against the other man's, but he didn't notice even if he did. "We need to go!" Desperately, the man tried to push himself off the ground, but his arms and legs weren't capable of supporting anything anywhere near his weight.

Several of legion pirate members let out a cry of shock as the swordsman, they could've sworn was currently disable slammed down with enough force to send them spinning.

The man turned to look at the others, his face filled with fear. The shadow of a quick moving cloud moved over him. It's disappearance left his face full of anger. "It's you're fault!" He pointed a finger at Rainer and then at the others who fought against the legion pirates. "If you all just left well enough alone we wouldn't be in this mess. All that would've happen would've been a few broken down buildings, and some loss possessions." He put his face in his hands and began sobbing. "Nothing we couldn't have fixed in a few weeks." Bill the tavern owner let himself fall on his side so he could weep comfortably in the fetal position for a few minutes. Off in the distance screams of pain and manic laughing rang throughout the village.

"Let me go, you little bitch!" The maniac legion pirate shouted as he desperately clawed on the ground, trying to put some distance between himself and the woman reeling him in like a fish on land. "You're going to be a lot sorrier if you don't. Trust me on that!"

The purple haired woman didn't reply, only kept on slowly pulling the man towards her. Off towards the south, a thick plumb of black smock.

"Listen!" The masked man shouted. "I don't know what you think this is going to accomplish, but there's nothing to be gained by taking me hostage, because the Legion pirates will always have numbers on their side, no matter how many of us you kill.. At the purple haired woman's feet, the bound man tried to sit up for a quick attack, but got kicked down before he could swing his knife at her legs. For a moment he laid there, breathing hard. "You might as well just kill me. Why waste both of our time?"

For a moment Abbygail only stared at the man, before crouching down and taking hold of his neck with a single hand. "If you say so." She began squeezing. The man under the mask tried to remain calm in the face of death, but animal instincts soon took over. It wasn't long before he was thrashing about, clawing at his captor's hand, but her grip was too strong, his hands to feeble to do anything but leave light scratches on her skin.

@Shiyonichi
"Musashi." The man who'd been thrown wheezed. "I remember that name now. You're red eyes, aren't you?" He laughed. "You're our reaper,are you? Maybe you are. I wouldn't doubt it. Honestly, surprised to see you all the way out here, bu that's death for you, right?." The man's smile could be heard through the steel around his head. "Not that it matter's much. Sure, we'll die now, but that's okay." He pointed a finger at the woman. "Because we never go alone. Ever our personal specter of doom is going to have to come with us."

@Noodles
"Shame for you." With a snap of his hand, the legion pirates moved out, quickly encircling the young woman. "We don't mind staying behind for a first hand look at seeing this place go. The important thing is the legion pirates will live on!" The man thrust his arms up towards the sky, drawing attention to himself like a magnet bringing every nearby piece of steel shavings together and his he did so, three of others behind Janet, pulled large stones out of their pockets and quickly threw them at their enemy's head.
@Crimson Lion@grandia20
Trembling, Bill pulled his face out of his hands and looked towards the west. His face, pale enough to be mistaken for a ghost, changed to a form of white that was hard to look at. "It's starting." He whispered. "They're already at the docks. It be long now."

Rainer looked down is sadness at what Bill said. Was it really his fault? What is IT anyways? Today ... was not his day. "I ... I'm sorry." Rainer whispered to the man who was crying.

The red haired man next to him stood up suddenly. "It... is our fault. So I'll make it rught. Who's coming with me to end this! I'm going to to end the Legion pirates once and for all so they can't terrorize anyone ever again!"

Rainer immediately stood up as well "I'm in. Those bastards wrecked this place and hurt ALOT of people. I wanna knock some sense inmmto them." He said, his voice simmering with anger.

Musashi'a eyes narrowed at the man's statement, though rather than anger in those eye they were filled with pity.

"Aren't you ashamed? Look at the greatest men and women traveling the high seas! They all got their dreams and determination to see it though! Now look at you, you're giving up your life to a crew that takes away your individuality leaving nothing, nothing but a husk. That's not a pirate crew! That's just like those damned Marines. That's the difference between us, I've got I dream! I'm going to be the greatest swordsman in the world and even the gates of hell won't stop me!"

Musashi's mind flashed back to her master as she said that, but it's been so long she couldn't recall his face only two swords to signify who he is. She put her swords back into her scabbard with a slight sadness at her failing memory.

"I could end you now, but that goes against my code to kill a fangless man, so I'll leave you to your fate. Just know I'll crush your troupe of theatre rejects, for making a mockery of what a pirate truly is!"

Musashi's mind flashed back to her friend and her specific telling her about the freedom to accomplish the very dream that they held. Though what she saw most of the time was nothing more than hooligans that flaunted their own measly power, but a part of her couldn't let go of that image. Maybe it was because it currently resonates strongly with her. However, something caught her eye and broke her from her thoughts. Walking away from the man she looked towards the docks.

Janet

Stones, really...? Janet, as a sniper, wouldn't let her guard down when surrounded. With one snap of her finger, she created a small explosion, not enough to kill, but the force of the explosion is good enough to redirect the stones away from her. The guy of the steel shavings gave her a bad feeling.

She charged at the other 3 men, swinging her javelin at them as it ignites an explosion. After all, its her team's own fault for letting her to be surrounded in the first place. Better to kill off the small fry first, distractions are dangerous sometimes...

She turned around, throwing her spear to the that man of the steel shavings.

Bill turned to face his cook and the stranger at the tavern, really face them, take everything in. With a sigh he lowered his head and looked at the dirt between his fingers. "No. I'm sorry. There's no need for you two apologize. Neither of you could've known. It's not like the Legion pirates come here often enough. If anyone's to blame it's me. I should've just left that one to drink till he got mad and laid my whole tavern to waste. It would've beat what's about to happen."

The man under the purple haired woman's hand slowly became still. She eased the pressure just enough to let him get a bit of air into his system, but not enough to let him regain any level of strength. "And exactly what," she said, turning her attention to Bill's conversation. "Is going to happen?"

"What?" Bill picked up a tiny pebble and tossed it at the black remains of his tavern. "Destroy the village. How?" Another stone. This one somehow managed to hit the one window not in pieces. It bounced off with a tink. "I'm not sure. All we know is they kept warning us not to make them really mad or they'd trap everyone here and crush us beneath their feet."

"Hmmm." Abbygail arched turned to the two men declaring their intent on stopping the legion pirates. "Well, I have nothing better to do so I'm definitely down to help you guys out." She smiled. "Only question is where do we go from here?"

"I don't know." Bill, William, the bartender, the tavern owner, shook his head. "Nobody knows where the legion pirates come from, only that they arrive like locus and nothing is as good after they're done."

"I wasn't talking to you." Abbygail said, releasing enough pressure on her prisoner's neck further. He coughed, and tried to sit up. She let him get a few inches off the ground before slamming him back down. "I'm talking to this guy, right here."

@Shiyonichi
"Individuality!" The two pirates barked in laughter. Their voices synced up so perfectly, an orchestra leader would be begging at their feet, had they the slightest bit of singing talent. "Individuality!" The said, the sounds that were there voices moved together in such a way that it was hard to believe that two people had actually just spoke. "What's that? We're all just products of the world around, ugly stones formed by the pressure of a thousand variables. What you call freedom, drive, it's nothing more than one domino moving after another." The two men's posture relaxed. "End us, you say? That's a laugh. You couldn't end us with the finest blades." They didn't bother to move as the swordsman turned her attention to the docks, only turned their heads in the direction she was focusing on.

One by one, new towers of smoke built their way towards the sky as the boats were lit on fire. More than smoke, screams filled the air. Men, women and children were kicked off the burning ships. Some were given the privileged of swimming for their lives. Most weren't even given that. The legion pirates who weren't busy igniting fires or holding keeping the owners from getting on board their ships, clung to the backs of the villagers, doing their best to pull them down into the warm ocean water.

@Noodles
The men watched with clenched rears as the stones they tossed sailed in the air towards the woman's head. The thing was, instead of her collapsing with blood pouring out of her skull, she went boom. It wasn't a big boom, but it was enough to crush their hopes. One The stones flew back towards the pirates, with one smashing into the pirate's head hard enough to crumple him into a heap. The other ducked.

Instinct told them the magnetic man to run. Passion told him to charge. The two forces hit and he found himself stuck in between them like Godzilla and Thor pushing a building towards each other. That is, until the woman's spear came into range. Behind his eyes, he saw himself, there standing with his arms raised during the charge. "I don't want to die!" He shouted at the top of his voice. His hands laced together and he brought his arms down, hoping to get the sniper in the back of the head. Then, he'd finish her when she was done. At least that's what he would've done had the woman actually charged instead of just tossing her spear. Instead, all he had time to do was squeak before everything went white.

The survivor hesitated for a moment before figuring he only lived once and jumped to his feet and charged.

@Crimson Lion@grandia20
"You really wanna know?" The legion pirate, # 101, said behind his steel. "Fine, I'll tell you. Just come closer."

Abbygail didn't come closer. Instead, she grabbed hold of the man's mask, her fingers digging into the steel, and yanked it backwards, hard enough to snap the straps that kept it in place, revealing a pale faced man with jet black hair and a beard that didn't seem capable of fitting inside the mask's limited area. His eyes were the color of Abbygail's steel and they were dancing with mirth. "You're a feisty one. I like that. " The pressure on his throat instantly tightened. "I'll tell you!" He wheezed. "Just ease up." The woman with the purple hair did, but only enough to let him talk. "You see the docks over there? How all the ships are being burned and all the passengers slayed or drowned? Well, there's a reason why that one big one isn't being touched."

The Legion pirate grinned up at Abbygail with brown teeth. He stopped when she hit him.
