"I have not slept in a bed for quite a few years so you can say that I am ready for anything." She said as she started to eat some bread and bringing small pieces of meat for Reonia as she smiled. She took a look at everyone who walked in when she saw someone she had seen the night before but did not get the chance to speak to them. It was another Elf so she was worried to speak to her but she knew it would be inevitable. "Hello, Im Alissa, I didn't get the chance to talk to you last night." She said holding out her hand.

(Sorry for the delay guys, been busy and kind of in a RP slump/writer's block)

After they had eaten their fill, they were brought out onto a training field, where an elf greeted them. "Welcome new Riders! I am Faenriel, and I will be your instructor in all things combat. First order of buisness, do you all have your own weapons? If so, step up one by one and present them to me!"

Tormir was the first to step up, pulling the axe off his back and presented it to Faenriel. "This axe was made by mine father as a gift for coming here in the forges of Tronjheim." Faenriel picked up the axe and looked it over, noting the symbol on the blade. "Very well made, and if I'm not mistaken, this crest is that of Durgrimst Ingeitum, correct?" "That it is, for it is mine clan." "Very well, it is a very good weapon, wield it well and you will go far in this class." Faenriel passed the axe back to Tormir, who strapped it onto his back and stepped down. "Next?" Faenriel asked.

Athelle stepped up to the elf. She pulled the sword off of her back, feeling the blade's comfortable weight in her hands. She gave it over to the elf, who smiled at it.@Azure Flame

Faenriel picked up the blade and examined it, looking surprised. "An elven blade? You aren't a typical human, are you?" he asked, handing her blade back.

"Not particularly, no," she said, taking the blade back and sheathing it on her back. She bowed with her hand twisted over her stomach. "Thank you, elda." Athelle took her seat again and watched the proceedings.@Azure Flame

He raised his eyebrow at the curious human who knew their customs and bowed to her in the same fashion before calling out "Next!"

Eli walked in front of the elf unsheathing his katana and presenting it to him.

He inspected the blade and nodded his approval, passing the sword back to him. "Interesting choice." he said. "Next!"

Alissa walked up to the weapons inspector and she held her sword in one hand an her crossbow in a different hands. She hoped she would be able to keep both of her weapons even if they did not look in the best shape. They worked perfectly fine but they did not look the best. She had Reonia on her shoulder and he sniffed in the direction of the inspector.

The elf took her sword and looked it over. "This weapon is worn, but still sturdy. It has seen battle, and tells of a rough life." he said, tears in his eyes as he looked at her. "You have a sad story, young one, let us hope you find a happy ending here." He twisted his hand over his stomach and bowed, in the fashion of the elves before handing her blade back to her and wiping his eyes. He looked over them all, deeming that everyone had handed over their weapons for inspection. "Very well, now we shall see you skill with these weapons!" He passed his hand over their weapons, muttering "Gëuloth du knífr!" each time, a thin barrier hovering over the blades of their weapons. "Pick a partner and spar with them." he said. "Do not worry, I have guarded your blades, they will not slice, but they can still bruise."

Tormir checked the blade of his axe, to find that the blade, in fact, could not cut him. "So this is the power of magic." he muttered to himself, before searching for a sparring partner.

Athelle checked the edge of her blade. "Darnit!" All right, no cutting. She stood across from Alissa. "Parteners?"

Alissa also bowed as the inspector bowed in respect. "I wish the same fate. I assure you." She said as she bowed her head and looked up when she said their would be partners. I think that I can work with that. Especially if we can not damage one another. She thought to herself as she looked around for the right partner.
