Loki gave a firm nod. "Martian manhunter beats out superman and batman any day" He took the last swig of root beer and rolled his eyes. "I'm just observing all this crazy of supers and villains. Its entertaining to watch" He watched the bottle go soaring and crash into the rest of the bottles. "Nice job there"

Loki raised a brow at each suggestion. "Shifter is okay but eh no dice man" He sighed and then shook his head. "I turn into multiple animals i don't think going with only one does not give me justice you know?" He shrugged and tosses his empty bottle to crash with the rest of them. Jay sighed as Loki turned down each name he came up with, and say silently for a minute as he thought. "How about..... Skinwalker? It's a type of Cryptid, like a wendigo or the Jersey devil. They're known as shapeshifters in a lot of myths and-" He cut himself off with laughter as Loki pointed out cat-boy's misfortune. "Dude, that's gotta suck." there was some more silence before a grin came over Jay's face. "so, I guess he's a wet pussy now?"

"okay, I'm sorry." he began laughing too hard to speak. "I had to."

”Been asking myself the same question for years. I think he needs an attitude adjustment or something. Perhaps he’s been dropped on his head way too many times at birth. I don’t know.” He said shrugging as Moonshadow continued running. How many years had it been since he left the alliance and joined up with Phantom? During those few years they had become close friends.

When the water balloon hit the grass Dragon sighed and allowed the water to hit his outfit. Eriko hissed as his back was splattered. ”Not again. I swear to god Moonshadow is going to make you bow to him! Oh shit. I’m late!” The young man shouted as he continued to run away.

”I won’t ever understand cats.”


The young woman continued walking towards Henri’s house and smirked. She continued to the side of the house, shifting the window upwards, and opened the window completely. She swung her legs inside while making sure not to slam against the wooden areas, and shutted it behind them. The girl walked inside the house and down the stairs into the basement.

”ELLO.” Cecilia said, smiling. She seemed quite friendly, but she had an evil glint in her eye. ”Ready to have some fun?” she asked gleefully.

As soon as Nebula put on her costume, she ran out the house and flew over the river to the west side of town. She was going to see if anyone needed her help before trying to talk the Chaotic Alliance. Not that any of Heart Braker's attempts to help the two sides be friends were any help as many were able to break from her emotional manipulation. No mater what, though, she was going to find a way to end the feud as peacefully as she can.

Enfant Star walked down the street to the Phantom and Friends hideout. She could fly, but she didn't find it necessary as the streets weren't that busy despite the fact that it was the time of day where kids and parents would be returning home from work or school. She wondered what was going to happen this evening, as most nights have been quite intresting to her sense she arrived in Waterway.

Just before she arrived to the hideout, she heard the commotion and knew tonight was going to be interesting as well.

Marlene yawned as she arrived home, not sure what to do this evening. She could go do what she loves best and gather information about others in town, or she could help her friend. The former option would be a little difficult as her hearing aid was not exactly working, not that she minded. She could do many of the things that she normally does without her hearing aid as she has learned to compensate for her short comings. However, as much as she wanted to help her friend, she wasn't exactly being easy for her to get a hold of right now. She knew that she needed to find her friend if she wanted to help her with what ever she is doing right now. Which meant that Marlene was going to have to get into costume.

Loki listened to the name and nodded. "I like that one. Skinwalker...yeah I dig it" then there was a pause after that comment from Jay before Loki broke out in hard laughter. Eyes watering as his sides heaved with laughter. After he regained his composure he inhaled. "no no don't be sorry that was awesome"

”Shit. Fuck. Damn it. Why do I gotta always be late!? Lady is going to fucking kill me! Oh, wait. You can’t kill a god like me. Duh.” The guy remarked running straight into Lady Crimson. ”Gah! Sorry I’m running late Lady. I was trying to ask Kato something and fucking Phantom popped up. I’m so sorry. How mad is Lord Midnight?”


”I take it that Midnight never knew about the attack. Considering that he wasn’t here.” The young man remarked to Phantom. His eyes flickered towards his sister. ” I know you keep saying I need a bath but with the power to freeze water makes it all rather inconvenient. You’re still looking rather cute Muse.”


”First off we’re going to talk about my terms.” Crimson Butterfly said as she walked towards the table. Her gloved hand grasped the nearest beanbag and pulled it up. The color was lime green but then again she wasn’t staying long. The girl slowly lowered herself into the seat with a soft poof from the beans moving around. Her hood shifted to the left making a small faction of her mask to show. Thank god for everyone assuming she was no more than a male.

”I charge for my services Midnight. About 3 bucks one hour granted when it comes to Phantom and co I will have to charge by the minute. I’m not your friend mind you. I will never be your friend so keep this in mind as you tell me about your plans. Due to being in a rather tight situation I’ll have to leave in perhaps a week latest. 4 if they’re on to my trail. So if you’re willing to caught up the dough I’m willing to help with any means necessary.” The young woman remarked as she placed each of her legs onto the table.

Midnight nodded, pleased with the girl's answer. "alright. Chaos is always fun." He smiled as Keri made her appearance as well. "Sit wherever you want, except for the end of the table there." He nodded to Lady crimson's currently empty spot, before glancing at the door to the room once again. Cat-boy really was taking his sweet time, wasn't he?

"I'd be more cautious of how you speak to me Butterfly. If you want any respect you'd do best not making the Lord of the night angry." He shot her a look before closing his eyes for a second, calming himself down. "As for any Payment, you don't think me such an idiot that I would pay anyone without knowing what they're actually worth first, do you? Didn't Moonshadow tell you who was in charge here?"

"You are on trial. For one full week, you are a part of the team. If we don't think you're good enough, you're out. And, considering what you know already, you really don't want to be out." His form began to eminate shadows as he spoke, a dark fog that took over the room. It only lasted a minute though, as soon he was back to smiling at the two who'd actually bothered to show up. "that said, you're paired with me for the weekend. Congrats. Illusionist, I think you might go with Moonshadow tonight, and my Lady Crimson tomorrow and sunday."

"I don't think he was dropped at all... just maybe wasn't raised quite right." Phantom shook his head and went over to the ladder that led up the trunk of the tree. Muse smiled at Dragon's complement and curtsied.

"Why thank you. You look quite handsome yourself today." she smiled and said more quietly, "I don't think he was dropped either. Thrown, maybe, but not dropped."

Phantom started climbing the ladder, calling out to the two out the window once he got up there. "Come on! We gotta figure out where Chaos is going to strike next!" He waved at Enfant Star as he saw her approaching from the street.

"come on, he's getting anxious."

Jay eventually got over his laughing fit, and once he noticed Eriko fleeing the Scene, stood up and went over to the bedroom door. "Okay, serious time now." He began to walk down the stairs, glancing back at Loki when he was about halfway to the bottom. "Hey, you wanna see something cool?" he had an eager smile on his face, like a child asking for a cookie.

"Oh, I'm sure. It's always something with you." Lady Crimson rolled her eyes at Eriko, opening a portal behind them. "You're lucky you keep forgetting your costume at Lord Midnight's base. Come on then." She waited about a tenth of a second before grabbing the boy's hand and dragging him through the magic circle. Midnight didn't say anything to them when they appeared, except to tell Moonshadow that he and the Illusionist would be partners in crime tonight.

Heart Braker looked for any signs of trouble, not seeing much, which made her happy. But the night was still young. She had no idea what was going to happen.

Marlene decided to get into costume and find her friend. The second step of her plan shouldn't be that hard as she was told what her friend was doing today. Running to The Chaotic Alliance hideout as fast as she could (which is pretty fast).

Loki gave one last chuckle and shook his head. For once actually removing those sunglasses and wiping some imaginary tear from his eye before replacing them onto his face. As much as he enjoyed shapeshifting he hated the permanent changes from that incident so many years ago. He then leaned back. "Serious time really? Why?"

Loki said this with his usual same tone, but when he looked over at Jay with the next question he found his brow raising along with his curiosity. "Sure but it better not be some dead thing or some shit" He stood and walked over before making motions for Jay to show him whatever it was he wanted to show him.

As heartbreaker wandered the town, she'd notice only a few things out of place yet. The only people causing trouble at the moment were the handful of other superpowered kids in town, the elementary schoolers mostly.

Soon enough though, the chaos will begin.

"serious as in, time to go out and make sure people don't kill each other." As Loki began to follow him down the stairs, Jay's smile brightened and he jumped down the last few steps. He stood in the middle of the living room and held his arms out to the side. Suddenly a whirlwind started up around him, and after a second, the Mediator was standing where Jay had been.

He was obviously trying not to grin like a goofball anymore, but his excitement still showed when he spoke. "Awesome right? It took me forever to figure out how to do that.. You can't even recognise me now, right?"

Loki rolled his eyes and then watched jay do his thing. He had to admit what jay just did was pretty cool, but he would never admit that out loud. Maybe eventually he'd get his own thing. Maybe. Not likely what was the point?

Loki gave a nod. "Pretty cool man." The quiet tone paired with that made it clear that was probably the only time he would admit that. He slid his hand out of his pocket and removed his sunglasses. Eyes remained closed for a moment before he opened them revealing his panther eyes. He didn't have his gloves on his this time and he was only in his t shirt and jeans paired with his combat boots, but hey at least he removed the sunglasses. "Alright lets go then"

”You’re so cruel Lady. I was just trying to help. After all they always seem to beat use to everything.” Eriko said as he brushed himself off. He gently checked himself out in order to make sure nothing was hurt. Once this was done his hand was taken making him grumble. While they were inside the portal Moonshadow attempted t get answers to some questions which didn’t work well.


”To be honest it wouldn’t have surprised me. Considering that his parents were never really around during childhood. My mother never really cared and just drank a lot. Hence why we were placed into foster care. I don’t know. I figure he might able to be turned like i was.” He remarked with a shrug while his sister curtsied.

”Thank you Muse. I always feel better when I see you. Your beauty compares to no one else.” The boy said adding a much softer look to Ice Dragon. After all the guy was in a group with very pretty girls so why not let them know this. He chose to ignore Muse’s last comment mainly due to being mostly true granted the mother didn’t do it. He did one or thrice.

Ice Dragon nodded as he waited for Enfant Star. Once she seemed to catch up the man bowed his head. ”After you Enfant Star.”


”I don’t think you understand Midnight. I might not have a fucking week. I get paid up front for my jobs and we do them correctly. I will not give my services free. Perhaps you would love Phantom and co to be knocking on your front door. After all I’m very much neutral in all of this. Just a hired hand that never misses their target. Keyword here is hired. If you don’t like this than don’t ever contact me again. Plain and simple.” Crimson Butterfly remarked as she stood up. Her figure shifted towards the door just as Moonshadow appeared through the portal. Nice touch really.

” Illusionist eh? No problem Lord Midnight I just need to change into my suit. Oh. Looks like Crimson Butterfly get my message! Alright. Another sore for us!”

”Can it Cat-boy. Your Lord Midnight is being a pain in my ass. Don’t you ever call me again unless you’re ready to agree to the terms.”

”What!? You take that back!” Moonshadow shouted as he lunged towards the girl. Well that was before getting cut by a knife.

O'Shea was just leaving to meet with his group. Sometimes, lacking the motivation to join in the fun unless his presence was absolutely necessary. With his powers, he could go crazy but he had to learn restraint. He was not in a particular rush but hell, if something was to jump off now, then it would have his full attention. Hope you guys aren't waiting on me...

Miles was hiding on the side, practicing away with his ability before wondering what Midnight was up to. he only ever joined the group to have a challenge. He remember the day he was recruited. Showing off his skills and nearly got jumped because of his mouth but that was a bit how he was. His skills though...that was what made him tolerable.

The heroes sat in beanbag-chairs around the circular table in the fort as Phantom explained to the group what their plan for the weekend was. Essentially, they were continuing their usual reconnaissance of the Town in order to stop the Alliance from causing trouble, but Muse would be leading a three-man team of herself, Pulse, and Ice Dragon to search for the alliance's base. As of now it seems obvious that the villains knew where Phantom's base was, so he, Void, and Enfant Star would be looking for place to set up a new one in the event of the current base's destruction.

"The teams will be keeping in touch through texts, so if you don't already have Muse's or my number, get it before we leave.
Okay friends, let's go!" Phantom grinned as the heroes were now all allowed to leave the clubhouse. Each person could go their own way, but the two teams should try to keep in touch in case they find anything.

Phantom was the last person to leave the treehouse- as always. He would hang around the area for a few minutes too still as he began walking in a loop around the block, just in case anyone needed to talk to him.

With The arrival of Lady Crimson and Cat-boy, and the subsequent leaving of the Crimson Butterfly, the meeting began in earnest. Pretty soon though, the entire meeting devolved into... well, Chaos. Eventually, Midnight gave up. Shaking his head and jumping up onto the table, his voice boomed over the clamor as he yelled. "Shut it! I give up. M'lady Crimson and I will hunt down the Butterfly- she has to pay for crossing me. The rest of you," He paused, grinning.

"Get out there and have some fun, okay?"

Midnight and Lady Crimson left as soon as he had jumped down from the table- after shooing everyone else from the building as well. Everyone should be able to text Lady Crimson if they need to communicate anything- Midnight was notorious for not answering his phone while out on the town.

Jay looked very unimpressed. "That's your entire costume? What about protecting your secret identity dude?"

He sighed and shook his head as he walked out the front door, expecting Loki to follow. He began walking towards the north bridge, obviously planning on patrolling the east side of town tonight.

As HeartBreaker wandered the town, a few things would catch the Super-powered teen's eye. Lots of younger children were out and about today- much more than was usual for a Friday afternoon. There also seemed to be a few shady characters hanging around the library- probably college students.

Honestly, she could do whatever she wanted at the moment. No one's about to stop her either way.

The Crimson Butterfly was forced to leave after pulling a knife on an Alliance member. Lady Crimson didn't take kindly to the attack, and so the resulting portal jump Butterfly took was pretty unpleasant. She would feel nauseous and dizzy as the portal dumped her on the east bank of the river, just under the main bridge.

She should probably get a move on, considering she just pissed off the Lord of Midnight. Within 10 minutes, another portal would open in the same spot and Midnight and Lady Crimson would step through, ready to hunt her down.

Dragon listened closely during the meeting granted that his mind filled with questions. It wasn’t like his cousin to attack alone unless it was because he was trying to impress someone. Than again during class the cat was texting someone. Perhaps Midnight had something planned? Or something went extremely sour? Something just didn’t feel right inside his gut. As if there was something they were missing.

After the meeting the guy managed to get the required numbers. ” Musse I can’t shake this feel that everything is going to go wrong. So I’m going to ask something out of you. Can we protect those in harm. No matter the alliance?”

Moonshadow slowly continued to bit his lip as pain began settling inside his palm. In reality the young man wasn’t mad about the girl’s little stunt. Considering mainly because the girl was nothing more than an assassin. After all he did get into her space.

”Don’t you think hunting her is a bit extreme Midnight? After all it was completely my fault. She’s an assassin.” He remarked only to have it fall on deaf ears. The guy sighed and got Lady’s number and prayed they would give up on their hunt.

Everything was becoming unraveled making her throw the mask in complete frustration as a pained scream worked from her chest. The only thing that made the girl stop was her cell going off. The ring tone was an excerpt from the bitch came back, which was assigned to the social worker. The news made her regret ever even looking in the first place. 4 days was all the girl was given to pack. 4 days starting today and she would lose everything.

” Yeah. We’ll find you a permanent home Keri. A loving family who can take care of you. Adoption is just around the corner. Nothing but lies wrapped inside false hope for people like me. God I wish this would end in a fitting note. Perhaps I should end it all. I need to see her first.” She remarked walking towards the throw mask. It was practically all over anyways so what was the point in continuing this facade? The young woman slowly walked away from the place heading towards the person she loved.

Loki shrugged. "What did you want me to summon a horde of bats or something and suddenly look different?" He rolled his eyes. "As for my identity...eh. Ill work on something eventually maybe" He then sighed and followed Jay.

As the crossed the bridge he glanced at the river and caught sight of a certain red houseboat moving in the distance and shook his head. Another sigh before he continued following Jay.
