@Aristo
I’ve had the experiences you’ve had with strangers/randoms but with my close “tabletop core” friends group. It is hell.

New people who are fresh to RP and immediately jump into difficult RPs with no clue of what they are doing.

I once tried to mentor one of these people. Turned out to be a powergamer, douche, and not understand the fundamentals of continuity (he tried to retcon at every possible turn). He is one of many experiences I've had that have made me be so demanding in my 1x1 checks now.

@ArenaSnow ASSASSINS? Wow, boy, you dodged a bullet then. I prefer the 'I'm a genius' thing over 'I'm fucking Ezio Auditore and I can fly through the sky hurling blades at my enemies while doing a perfect fucking somersault after I land.'
I know that this is said all the time but.... "a new spin on an old idea" "or With a catch" its the clickbait Of Roleplay I have stopped even reading these new old ideas.
Used to click and found that my statement was true. After the experience of clickbait, I have assumed that these are clickbait. Anyways if you click it are you not giving people what they want
It can be a safe assumption.
And yeah giving them attention by clicking their stuff is giving them what they want.

But I wanted to give people a roleplay to participate in and enjoy...
Ok, I can understand that.
But are you messing around?

I've put a considerable amount of effort into it. I didn't think people would write it off as clickbait.
