So, I've been painting my first Warhammer 40,000 army recently and I've discovered that having a bunch of half-painted models sitting on your desk for weeks and never having time to work on them more is really disappointing. It's one of those "I know I'll finish those soon!" and never getting around to it kind of things.

I would be concerned for your health if you thought this random RP on a forum website was more important than your actual life.

I kind of think it is. I wouldn't be so apologetic about something like my work, they can sod off!

The joys of the working world XD

Always a bit busy around the holidays, got the post up now though. Wanted to have Barrington motormouth a bit about his favorite subject which is fun.

So, updates:

1. Will get a post out tomorrow

2. Yes, I realize I am eclectic and I’m always getting new ideas to expand this RP. So what do you guys thing about a language system? You have the human common, goblin, elven, etc. but also an interesting thing I was thinking about is a daedric language you may be able to discover in some later dungeons that would allow you to roughly translate the screeches and screams of the more nightmarish creations. A rough idea right now and of course I understand the irony in that we haven’t even finished the first dungeon and I’m already planning way ahead, but what do you guys think?

4. I’m doing away with the whole rotation system, I’m just going to say a post a week or more if you want unless you explain why you can’t. I feel like this will let your characters have more time to flesh their relationships out with one another withou me interrupting with plot every 5 seconds. Again, feedback is always appreciated!

2. Languages sounds good, though I think Kiera would disapprove of most people learning it (but who ever cared about what the zealot thinks?). I think she might already know a specific holy language though, kind of like how religious folk back in the middle ages would know latin

4. Also sounds good, though it's worth noting a system like that can get tedious for some if some other people are having a long conversation. Maybe, I'm not sure

Overall all is fine, though for the last part, I think we should keep the order, but only for teh combat segments. Like seriously we need that to be as rational and systematic as possible. I do like how the first combat passed. Yes the downtime works better without it, but the combat needs it's system.

That's a good idea and I agree. The combat system and post order will stay the same.

@rivaan update kinda sorta. Yes I realize that just after making a post time limit I’m being a hypocrite and blowing it out of the water so oh well. Christmas break is coming up on Thursday for me and I have a couple of days off, so I’ll probablt be able to get a post out between the myriad of other stuff I have to do.
