Not necessarily, believe it or not.

Not necessarily, believe it or not.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
It's literally impossible. If you don't have a camera then she knows less than nothing since you can only do pre-programmed things. It's not like she goes through your files and open programs to learn about you. There's no importing of information to her, it's not possible for her to love the player as anything more than "the concept of another actual entity."
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
If you're going that route, she's not sapient at all and can't love to begin with. I'm referring to the canon rather than what the actual files are doing.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
What the canon that she was put inside a game or that she gained sapience over time? Because she's in the game either way and has trouble altering it let alone anything else in the computer. There's no canon way for her to get any information about the player. She even explicitly brings up that she knows nothing about the player other than what they did through player's character, which she knows has limited options.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
The canon is that the
You haven't finished the game, right?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
I've only done two versions of the sayori-yuri-jm route. I'm collecting data on jm right now.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Jm? Oh, Just Monika.
What I mean by that is have you gotten to the end credits?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
I've gotten to end credits yeah. If you just mean that the club leader gets sapience that still doesn't change anything.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
The game can theoretically access anything it wants in your computer, including your microphone and camera. It can see your search history, your other games, your files, etc. Canonically speaking, if the club president just went through all of the average person's stuff, they'd learn a lot about them.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
"If you don't have a camera then she knows less than nothing since you can only do pre-programmed things. It's not like she goes through your files and open programs to learn about you."
She goes far enough to learn your User name but not your sex. She COULD do those things but clearly doesn't, she even mentions how difficult altering things is, and how she never even thought to alter the script in other ways.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Canon vs. what the game is actually doing
Altering things is difficult, but not necessarily reading things. Besides, it very clearly started out with her only falling in love with you because of the whole "looking through the pinhole" poem where she has her limited choices as an AI and she's looking at our world of infinite choices. But the dev said that for some players, it evolves into something more.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
She's programmed to love the player just like the others it's just that as the president she finds out that the player character has more than just the character. That's why she always refers to the player as "he" despite admitting she doesn't know, because all she knows is that there player character has a being behind it like she is. She doesn't actually see the player, just that "this isn't real, that is."
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I don't disagree with you. Each player does have unique interactions to some extent, and there's the implication that the two of you communicate without words to a degree.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
The only difference in interaction is what girls you talk to when. That's not enough to choose between players or develop feelings from.
How does the thirty years trigger? Just changing my clock didn't seem to do it.
Also are there holiday triggers?
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I just double checked and apparently I was wrong about being wrong. The 30 year trigger is in the After Story mod, my bad.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I don't think so, but I haven't read the full script. I'm pretty sure now that there are no time based events.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Mm. But there's still a good end?
Hi Darlit.
