@KazAlkemi Apologies for not clarifying! Your character can be totally original if you'd like. Or they can be related to a canon character/family, though I'll be a bit more scrutinizing in looking the sheet over if this happens. They can't be too closely related to a family if it could in some way affect the Harry Potter storyline. TL;DR your charrie can be original or be related to canon - if it's the latter, don't worry about me and go with it anyway as it'll likely be alright in terms of the canon universe.
Name: Aibhlinn (Ave + leen) Sarah Lynch (Pronunciation) Age: 14 Birthday: December 12, 1942 Sex: Female Ethnicity: White Nationality: Irish
School Year: Fourth Blood Status: Half-blood Hogwarts House: Slytherin Pet: Long-eared Owl Boggart: Spider; Puffs out into a balloon with big/surprised eyes and floats away Wand: Hawthorn Wood; Unicorn Hair Core; 11 1/4" length; Quite bendy flexibility
Favourite Lesson: Astronomy; Has always found a fascination with the lights in the sky, the way a simple change in planet patterns can alter a personality or the ability to do things. Least Favourite Lesson: Herbology; Simply put, she doesn't like getting dirty Extracurricular Activities: Music; Ancient Runes Club (H.A.R.C.)
Appearance: Aibhlinn has medium blonde, curly hair with natural low lights that sits just between her shoulder blades (when curly, longer when straighter) but her fern green eyes are usually what draws peoples attention first and are Aibh's favourite thing about her appearance, along with the scrunching or wiggling of her nose when she gives you that "what the hell" look. Those green eyes turn crystal like if she is in an emotional state but a deeper shade when she becomes overly concentrated on something. She comes in at an average 5'5" height and weighs a healthy 125lbs (56.7 kg), so her clothing choices are endless. Aibhlinn has her days were she likes to dress up a bit more (pairing anything she can with her prized leather jacket or a fitted bolero jacket) but when she is in the safety of her common room, she tends to wear slacks and a comfortable sweater to do all her major studying and planning in. She is often found with a small smile or smirk on her face that showcases the single dimple on her left cheek but often when she is intensely focused on something her eyebrows will scrunch in while she is chewing on her bottom lip. As much as she prides herself on good grades, she is a nervous test taker which leads to the bouncing of her left foot on the floor, shaking her own leg and often hitting the leg of her desk. Puberty has been kind to Aibhlinn but she is quite uncomfortable with the changes, hence the over-sized clothes she tends to wear. Shirts tend to be the more difficult clothing choice when she has the option to dress nicer, so she is often grateful for the bulky shirts of Hogwarts.
Personality: Aibhlinn is a bit of a book nerd. She loved learning the history on Hogwarts and has an incredible interest in the sky above. When she gets into the zone of studying things that interest her she can become quite cut-off and quite, maybe even a little irritable when you interrupt her. She has a highly sarcastic or smart-ass side that she loves using with everyone and sometimes crosses a line when she uses it with the teachers as well. She is heavily loyal to her Hogwarts house and is quick to defend anyone, something that has only grown stronger in her as the years go by in this school. Her determination is another thing to be envied and can be rivaled by most Ravenclaws' in this matter. When Aibhlinn sets her mind to something she will achieve it, even if you tell her she can't, she will prove to you that she can. Her compassion is a side that most don't see, she only exposes that side if she can trust you enough to open up and that is where her observation skill comes in handy.
Backstory: Born to a Wizard father and a muggle mother, Aibhlinn was graced with getting both sides of the world. She spent her first five years of school going to private schools in Ireland as well as England, learning the muggle subjects and having the same desires as her classmates. She developed her love for books at a young age and always found the muggle children stories amusing. Most of them were close to the wizarding stories her parents told her about but the fantasy stories muggles had always made her laugh. When she received her Hogwarts letter of acceptance she was elated. However, upon arriving at Hogwarts she encountered many difficulties as she was picked on for her half-blood heritage among other things. Aibhlinn was already a strong-willed, determined little girl so despite the constant bullying and name calling, she proved herself to her Slytherin counterparts that she could be just as cunning, determined and resourceful as the lot of them. She still encounters her troubles but she developed a much stronger backbone and ability to throw in her sarcastic remarks to the response of smiles. Having much still to learn Aibhlinn can be found in the library, frequenting the astronomy tower or walking the grounds with her owl counterpart flying overhead.
Extra: Has a major sweet tooth; loves to dance and to blare music in the common room.
Why did Hogwarts have so many blasted stairs? And why did the Slytherin common room have to be in the dungeons, creating the most amount of stair climbing anyone had to do. Aibhlinn cursed as she made the last set of stairs to the seventh floor corridor. She pulled her hood up from her cloak and stuck to the shadows of the darkened hallway. She paused there in the shadows, straining her ears for any sign of movement of noise. She dashed to the other side and started pacing quickly in front of the door. On her third pass a simple door appeared. She pushed it open, quickly stepping inside and shut it quietly. She let out the air she had been holding and turned around, slumping against the door. The Room of Requirement. She had heard about this place in her third year and had located it with a few of her friends, thinking up of things they had wanted to bring with them to Hogwarts but couldn't, but the room provided what that sought with no questions. After awhile Aibhlinn started coming by herself and it became a sort of save haven. One with no judgement, were you didn't have to get the good grades or side with the Slytherins when they were bashing the Gryffindors. In this room, Aibhlinn was free. She walked over to the marble white piano and ran her fingers across the top, down its cool side and then lightly over the keys, not making a single sound. She came here simply for the room and would think of various things she wanted in the room, books, runes, musical instruments... One time she had read up on Augureys' and thought of seeing one up close, studying it and when she opened the door she was inside a forested area with in Ireland, surrounded by them. Everyone once in awhile she would think of one before entering, just for the quiet companionship of the bird if she didn't wish to be outside to see her owl. Aibhlinn sat down at the piano and slowly started to plink away at the keys. It started off as a mournful tune, something she had composed but then it drifted into a great melody from what they were learning in class. It was giant and free, hopeful and Aibhlinn played on until her fingers hurt.
An extremely large rottweiler, snarling teeth. Turns into a small pomeranian, with a bow in it's hair.
Wand:
Rowan. Kneazle Whisker. Seven Inches. Unyielding.
Favourite Lesson:
Herbology: Beverly finds tending to plants and fungi to be a relaxing experience. She has actively enjoyed the class for her first few years at Hogwarts. Her current year will be tending to the more dangerous plants, but she feels that she is well informed enough to keep safe. Beverly likes to have a plant in her room during the semester, and commonly gives it to a professor or a friend when she leaves the school for the end of the year.
Least Favourite Lesson:
Flying: Though flying is a first year course, Beverly has a very bad taste of flying. It haunts her as one of her worst experience at Hogwarts yet. Her first time on a broom left her so nauseous that she spent half of the class with her eyes closed, and other other half rushing to the girl's restroom to throw up.
Extracurricular Activities:
Muggle Music Club: Beverly is part of a small group of girls and boys that enjoy the works of muggle artists. They listen to the radio and talk about new songs and old songs alike. Most of the time it's just an excuse to get together with friends and have a good time.
Appearance:
Beverly is a small girl with a very big personality. She is five foot tall and weighs a little bit over one hundred and twenty pounds. Giving her a round, plump, and joyful face. Her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons. Her hair is naturally brown and her eyes are a soft green tone that can appear blue in the proper lighting.
This fashionista adores new fashion trends and tends to be risky with her attire in both color, pattern, and style of the time. Her mother lets her wear makeup on special occasions and she most always choose bright red lips. She is well developed and enjoys letting people know she is a growing woman.
Most people would describe Beverly as a quaint and lovely young woman, she was always liked by her peers and fairly liked by her professors alike. Though, sometimes her back talking and aloof nature was not always the best in a classroom setting. The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and nasty name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life.
Beverly's habits include sucking on mints or candies and chewing on her bottom lip when she's nervous. She can't ride a bicycle or fly a broom very well, as it makes her nauseous with motion sickness. Beverly enjoys sweets, plants, short skirts, experimenting with makeup, the colors: red, black, and yellow, and making new friends at school. On the other end of the spectrum, the young woman dislikes uniforms, people who don't laugh at her jokes, waking up early when there is nothing to do, chores, and being away from her mother for too long of a time.
Backstory:
"A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?"
Beverly looked up at her mother with her large, round bright eyes, "Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night, a cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her joyous tears as she shook her head at her one and only daughter, "No, my darling you must have class, ass, and sass." Beverly nodded, and repeated, "class, sass, and ass. Momma I got it- now when is dinner?" The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done." The two had just moved to England from the states, after Claudia (Beverly's mother) was left by the father of her child. Her parent's insisted on coming back to England so they could help take care of their daughter as well as their new and only grand daughter.
Beverly was named after her grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Who Beverly was told was Elvis Presley) was a muggle and supposedly was only really around for Beverly to be conceived. This may have gave Beverly a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances, and because he made great music. Beverly's mother a pureblood (Claudia Scott) with little to no help from her parents raised the girl, and taught her (Or atleast tried) to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's.
Extra:
Slightly allergic to her cat. Truly believes her father is Elvis Presley. Gets motion sick very easily.
The sun shone bright through the windows of the corridor as Beverly's played diligently with the ring on her finger. A good friend had given it to her for her birthday this year her final year of school, and she hadn't taken it off since. It didn't matter that it was tarnished and turning her finger a dull shade of green where the ring rubbed against her skin. It had meant more than appearance, it was the symbolism of it all. Symbolism meant a lot to Beverly, sometimes things of the least valuable had the more importance- and vice versa. This is why a piece of paper was what Beverly truly desired, but more importantly she desired the truth.
Pacing back and forth, it wasn't a real surprise that the Room of Requirement appeared for Beverly. She had never seen it with her own eyes before, but for some reason it seemed familiar. The rays of light shining on it like a sign, an answer, a ray of hope. Beverly looked towards both ends of the corridor before approaching the door and placing her hand on the knob. She turned it diligently and walked in, closing the door quickly and quietly behind her. Inside laid a piece of single piece of paper, on a dusty pedestal. Beverly took a deep breath, she so desperately wanted to look but for some reason her feet would not carry her forward. It wasn't every day that you would learn who your real father was.
Here she is! However- I might change her age and year if everyone decides on 4th years ^^
@Peridot So, I am back and also an idiot because I just figured out that I can use my iPhone as an internet source. So, give me a day or two to get a character up, please. :) Thanks in advance.
No worries, I won't even be reviewing the sheets for a few days yet.
@NameUserOf@Ejected Glad to have you both! In terms of lore, you can probably just google the more specialist things, but I'm sure a lot of it can be winged or filled in with common sense. Send in an application, and we'll just have to see how much info people need for this to work. :)

I am going to have a character up soon! My internet has been very wonky for the past few days, but it is now working without any issues. I should have my character sheet done by tomorrow!
Blood Status Half-Blood The youngest of an ancient family in Wales, Iorweth is the first in his family's current generation to attend Hogwarts. The Caradogs, one of Wales' oldest Halfblood families, are considered strange by most well-to-do wizarding families, with a relatively pureblooded lineage being tarnished by rumors that interbreeding with goblins, elves, and trolls was a common Caradog practice before written records -- This is also the assumed explanation for frequently occasional short stature of Caradog men like Iowerth's father Elgar, as well as an explanation for their strange behavior.
School Year Fifth Year
Hogwarts House Hufflepuff The sorting hat announced Iorweth's house before the headmaster could let go of its brim. Iorweth isn't even sure if he felt the hat touch his hair.
Pet Cat Iorweth has a widely-hated cat named Taffy, who is a fifteen-year old Maine coon. It is known for loudly meowing until he can find Iorweth, and sneezing thick globs of mucus on the floors of the Hufflepuff common room. He is at the very least, a good mouser, if the number of voles, mice, and shrews he lines by Iorweth's bed is any indication. Considering that their dormitory is immediately next to the kitchen, many Hufflepuffs are quietly grateful for this task.
Boggart Kelpie Iorweth was nearly taken by a kelpie as a young boy while on a hunting trip with his father, who had lured him onto its back by disguising itself as a beautiful white horse. When he climbed atop it, its appearance changed to its true form -- a waterlogged black horse, with long, sharp, teeth and bulging, dead grey eyes. Through the use of the Ridikulus charm, it is given four well-oiled rollerskates.
Wand Bloodwood, Phoenix Feather Core, 11 ¾ inches, Unyielding "Bloodwood favors those who are kind-hearted, passive, reclusive, and free-spirited. This exotic wand type has the characteristic of working easily with all types of Elemental Magic (next to Birch and Ebony wands), but particularly in Water spells. Bloodwood wands help to uncover buried and/or long lost secrets, and are also one of the most powerful wand types for use in Divination and Healing Magic. However, Bloodwood wand tend to favor those who are reclusive and prefer to keep out of the limelight, thus it also makes for a good wand when used in the Logical Arts of Magic. This wand type is seen among all the Houses of Hogwarts and has no particular affinity to a certain House. However, it is suspected that Bloodwood wands have a leaning affinity to both House Ravenclaw and House Slytherin. Bloodwood has a brilliant red color that darkens with age."
Favourite Lesson Herbology Iorweth, having farmed many of the magical vegetables and beaten back many of the magical weeds that are studied in the class, has an advantage almost like taking a language course in a tongue he speaks at home. Due to his effortless high marks in the class, the workaround Professor Beery has reached in order to fairly grade his pupils is to simply not assign Iorweth partners for projects.
Least Favourite Lesson Potions Iorweth is simply bad at potions-making, and that would be a generous statement to make. He lacks the grace, patience, and attentiveness necessary for the delicate measurements, stirring, and pouring needed in the class. Watching him mix potions is like watching a child attempt to bake a cake, and he is frequently made to sit in the back of class or is outright dismissed for the day by Professor Slughorn in an effort to not waste ingredients.
Extracurricular Activities Frog Choir To Iorweth's surprise, when he attended the first meeting of Frog Choir, the extracurricular had nothing to do with making choirs of frogs sing through magic. To his equal surprise, he was told he was a baritone-bass, which was precisely the range they lacked. The Frog Choir is one of the few things Iorweth takes very seriously.
Appearance Iorweth, while not exceptionally tall, short, fat or thin, Iorweth's appearance tends to stand out in crowds. He has a strangely alien look, as if he's both listening and drifting away, which isn't helped by the fact that he only ever smiles. He has brown hair which is never combed or brushed, but remains presentable regardless. His eyes are a deep reddish hazelnut, and his complexion is slightly sallow and pale.
He's known for having a feint damp smell with him, wherever he goes, and tends to carry himself with a relaxed fluidity when he walks, as well as a perpetual slouch. He favors simple clothes, and usually wears solid color sweaters, t-shirts, and jeans when out of uniform. He wears a thick plaid jacket in the colder months, although it's very apparent that the jacket is a size too large for him to fit, and wears the same pair of black boots twelve months a year, in and out of uniform.
Personality Iorweth is strange, even by Hogwarts standards. He prefers his own company, or the company of plants and animals. When he ventures off into the forest, he's never seen practicing any spells or painting any landscapes, or even reading a book. He just sits. Aside from his penchant for lone hikes through the wilderness, Iorweth's odd mannerisms coupled with his near-unintelligible accent win him few friends. He has an oddly specific diet he does not break, never stops smiling, and has a distinct damp smell. Iorweth is weird, to say the least. In spite of this, Iorweth is unshakably nice. Although he's hardly the type to greet others with a hug, Iorweth has a deep-seated love for all creatures. He holds a firm belief that naturally, everyone is born good, and remains good deep down. He is almost unrealistically slow to anger, and only ever intervenes in situations without using violence. He is a vegetarian, and claims to have nursed a Hippogriff back to health, though this claim is disputed.
Backstory Growing up on the Caradog Farm, Iorweth is a boy of simple tastes. He enjoys hiking through the wilderness, sleeping in trees, and shearing sheep. He has an older brother and two older sisters, and is the only male in his family to fluently speak English -- His home village of Cerrigydrudion is one of the smallest in Wales, hidden away from the English language and muggles alike. His life before, and during, his tenure at Hogwarts has been remarkably tame. No tragic deaths have befallen his family, no rugged battle scars decorate his thin frame. He has a quiet politeness about him bordering on classical stoicism, and his stories about his home life are all so boring that people interrupt him, which he takes on the chin. Iorweth isn't really the type to speak up about matters like that. He'd just smile.
Extra
There were lots of things about his farm Iorweth missed at Hogwarts. His missed his mother's porridge, a lumpy mass of oats he'd have to chew with his back teeth, and he missed his father's car and the warm rides it had. Right now, he missed his garden. It had all sorts of herbs and spices, and those were precisely what he needed. Taffy had been sick for a fortnight and didn't look like he was getting better any time soon. What he needed were some Snargaluff pods, and as a wee first year, there wasn't any chance he'd be allowed close enough to collect them, sick cat or not. There wasn't any place where he knew where to get them, but there was... A door? It certainly was, but, Iorweth had been pacing to himself in the hall for quite a while. There wasn't a door there his first lap, or his second, or his hundred-and-tenth. And yet, there it was before him, as plan as the nose on his face.
Iorweth was the son of a shepherd. He wasn't one to blindly trust magical doors, but this door was too good to be true. It was in Hogwarts, and nothing bad ever really happened there, after all. He looked both ways, as if he were about to steal the hat off of Professor Beery's head, and entered the room. It was warmer than he expected. Brighter, too. It was filled with potted rows of every kind of plant he could think of. The windows, while too frosted to allow him to look out, let in a tremendous amount of light. Iorweth idly wondered to himself what time of day it had to have been for the room to have that much light, closing the door behind him. Almost immediately, he found what he needed -- Not just a Snargaluff, but three, all de-podded, with their harvested contents in five neat jars. They seemed oddly friendly, allowing him to get close enough to the shelf nearest them to grab a jar without so much as a hiss.
"Thank ye, mageck rum." Iorweth said with a nod, closing the door behind him. In his experience, thieving from them or not, it was good to thank the magic doors that opened up for him, like the mouths of a gift horse. Taffy's cold would be cured in no time.
My first RP on this site, so I'm still trying to figure out how everything works. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong!
Name: Nora Harrison (formally Ivanov)
Age: 15
Birthday: August 11th
Sex: Female
Ethnicity: Slavic Caucasian
Nationality: Ukraine (Soviet Union)
School Year: 5th, was allowed to attend at 10 rather than 11 due to her situation.
Blood Status: Unknown (birth parents unknown)
Hogwarts House: She was sorted into Ravenclaw quickly and has never looked back. The emphasis on smarts rather than athletics or interpersonal communication suits her well.
Pet: She was gifted a Northern White-Faced Owl by her adopted family. They named it 'Anastasia' after the famous Russian Princess, in some weird attention to get her to embrace her heritage, but Nora just found it weird. 'Romanov' as she calls the owl, lives in the owlery and she only really interacts with her when she gets her mail.
Boggart: A tall male, evil-looking doctor, face covered in a surgical mask and holding a long, sharp needle.
Wand: Chestnut, Veela hair, 10", Springy.
Favourite Lesson: Herbology. This is her passion. Nora would rather spend her time in greenhouse with the plants than most anywhere else, though she has a somewhat close relationship with Morris Babcock which allows her to care for the plants after school hours.
Least Favourite Lesson: Charms. She struggles with authority and the precise nature of this class makes her feel like she's being told what to do.
Extracurricular Activities: Mainly she just helps Morris Babcock after school hours with the green house, though if there was an herbology club she'd be in it.
Appearance: Pale skin, so she tries to avoids sunlight because she burns so easily. When forced to go out, she usually bundles up with a hat and scarves in her House's colors. 5'3", but typically uses her shortness to duck away from crowds or through them if she needs to get somewhere. Had long, straight platinum blonde hair when she was younger, but since 3rd year she's cut it to a pixie cut.
Personality: Frosty and distrustful before you get to know her. She has few friends, but the ones she had she keeps close and safe. Though she'd short, she can be weirdly intimidating. When she's not in the Greenhouse, she's studying in the Ravenclaw common room or reading in the library.
Backstory: Her blood status is unknown because she was abandoned as a baby in front of a CCCP building in Ukraine. Raised in an orphanage in Kiev, she started to show signs of magic early. After she was cornered by a few other orphans who were intent on hurting her, there was an explosion and she took the blame when the others suffered minor burns. Before the Ministry could intervene, Nora was locked in a children's psych ward when she claimed to have magical powers. It took them nearly a week to finally get her out and transported to London. She was formally adopted by an older wizarding couple, whose kids had already graduated Hogwarts and gone on to lead their own lives, but chooses to spend her holidays at Hogwarts since she doesn't really feel like part of their family.
Since she's been at Hogwarts, Nora had more or less come out of her shell. Though she still doesn't connect with her adoptive parents, she has found her true home to be the wizarding world. When Herbology was introduced to her
Extra: She's multilingual, speaking Russian, Polish, and English. She enjoys reading in both Russian and English.
Finally finished. Writing sample is at the end of Honey's character sheet.
{"I'm not conceited. Conceit is a fault and I have no faults."}
Name: Honey Nicole Weaver
Age: Sixteen
Birthday: March 10th
Sex: Female
Ethnicity: Black/Cuban
Nationality: British
School Year : Fifth
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Hogwarts House: Slytherin: "You are relentless in your pursuit of success, making you a perfect fit for Slytherin, but your willingness to take risks makes you somewhat compatible with the typical traits of Gryffindor house. People who don’t know you well are often intimidated by your reserved demeanor, and you have very few close friends. You are loyal to few, and definitely prioritize personal success over close relationships. Your slight compatibility with Ravenclaw house hints at an appreciation for knowledge and wisdom, though they are not priorities for you."
Boggart: Honey is terrified of clowns, so her Boggart takes the form of a very menacing clown from her childhood memory. When using the "Riddikulus" charm, the clown is stripped of his wig and nose, and stands, mortified, in one of her Abuela's wigs and her gown.
Wand: Black Walnut wood with a unicorn hair core, 13 ¾" and supple flexibility
Black Walnut Less common than the standard walnut wand, that of black walnut seeks a master of good instincts and powerful insight. Black walnut is a very handsome wood, but not the easiest to master. It has one pronounced quirk, which is that it is abnormally attuned to inner conflict, and loses power dramatically if its possessor practises any form of self-deception. If the witch or wizard is unable or unwilling to be honest with themselves or others, the wand often fails to perform adequately and must be matched with a new owner if it is to regain its former prowess. Paired with a sincere, self-aware owner, however, it becomes one of the most loyal and impressive wands of all, with a particular flair in all kinds of charmwork.
Unicorn Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing. Favourite Lesson: Flying:Even before Honey began her studies at Hogwarts, she has always been a very active girl. She participated in many Muggle team sports. When she found out about Quidditch during her first year, she made it a mission to become as good of a flyer as she could possibly could so that she could perform well on the team. During her practicing, she realized just how much she loved being able to soar around in the air with the wind whipping her hair.
Least Favourite Lesson: History of Magic:Honey has never been great at any form of History, whether it was Muggle history or the history of magic. She often times has trouble memorizing names and dates. The subject in general, in her eyes, is extremely boring.
Extracurricular Activities: Quidditch (Slytherin Seeker); Dueling Club
Appearance: Honey is a curvy, light-skinned woman, standing at five feet, seven inches tall and weighing in at a little over one-hundred fifty pounds. Her skin is usually free of any blemishes, an exception being the vertical scar on her upper lip which she covers up with makeup. Her natural hair is curly, dark brown, and shoulder length. You'll usually see her with blonde hair, however, as she prefers to bleach it. Honey carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides and her head held high. She often looks taller than her height of 5"7 considering that she's always wearing heels when she has the chance. Honey usually applies a full face of makeup in the mornings, therefore enhancing her natural beauty.
When it comes to her fashion sense, Honey has her own style and always dresses to impress. When out of uniform, you'll usually find her in a nice pair of pants, a blouse, and boots or heels. She likes to look her best everyday, and usually spends about two hours each morning making sure that there's nothing out of place. It's rare to see her in a state of disarray as she believes that she should always look prepared and presentable, especially when she's the most frazzled.
Personality: If you had to describe Honey in one word, most people would choose terms along the lines of "intelligent", "adamant" or "bossy". While she can't entirely deny any of those, Honey considers the core aspect of her personality to be determination. Her intelligence is mostly based on her determination to succeed. A textbook extrovert, Honey loves to chat and debate with other people, but isn't as friendly as she could be. Like her brother, she tends to speak her mind without thinking, even if it is some sort of insult. She is also very opinionated and slightly judgmental. In spite of all of this, Honey is only truly nasty when she's extremely frustrated or really dislikes someone.
Honey is a perfectionist who has high standards for herself, and has a tendency to correct people and nitpick. Every now and then, she is dishonest and manipulative. Because she is always glancing in a mirror or taking long periods of time to get ready in the mornings, a lot of people also believe that she is conceited and vain. Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Honey is extremely bold and dependable. For the most part she's pleasant enough to be around and is usually willing to extend a helping hand to someone.
Backstory: Andreas Weaver and Honey Weaver were born on March 10th to Cuban, muggle-born witch Katherine Perry-Weaver and Nigerian, Pure-blood wizard Antwan Weaver. Despite coming from a lower middle-class family, the twins grew up a bit "spoiled" as a result of being the only two children the married couple could have; they got nearly everything they asked for. The three of them lived in a small flat in Bootle, where Andreas and Honey attended public school. While being half-bloods, Andre and Honey spent more time with their non-magical side of the family than their father's side of the family. Their mother's family was very warm and extensive; they have a total of ten aunts and uncles and twenty-three cousins, a few of whom still reside in Cuba.
Along with their cousins, Andre and Honey were taught from a young age to always treat people with kindness, unless they give them a reason not to, and try to have an understanding of others. Because of this, they are no strangers to "muggle inventions" nor do they discriminate based on blood status. The pair also grew up speaking a great deal of Spanish and watching Muggle telenovelas. Andre and Honey attended public school until they unsurprisingly received their Hogwarts letters.
Honey's first year went very well; she made a large number of friends, despite her unfriendly tendencies, made decent marks, and discovered her passion for Quidditch. She worked hard to become a skilled flyer and seeker for the Slytherin team, and still to this day proclaims that she is going to, one day, play professionally. Now, in her fifth year, Honey is more focused than she has ever been. Her grades have slightly improved, she's a better flyer, and she has her future all mapped out. While having made a large number of pals in school, Honey only considers a handful of of them to be people that she would genuinely call best friends and would prefer to keep it that way.
Extra: Pansexual Will sometimes switch to Spanish when in the middle of a conversation without noticing. Would kill for her cat.
Thunder cracked and rolled, lightning flashed brightly, rain pounded deafeningly against the windows, and the wind's moans echoed throughout the long, empty corridor. It'd been raining on and off all day, much to Honey's dismay. The girl couldn't help but pout as she stared out of the large, arched window, her mood dampened and her day seemingly ruined. The young second year had been planning to sneak out to the Quidditch field after dark to practice her broomstick flying a bit more before Quidditch trials, but wouldn't dare follow through in such inclement weather; she could get seriously hurt. After staring out at the courtyard for another moment, a bright idea suddenly crossed her mind. She could barely contain her excitement as she stood and walked briskly in the direction of the marble staircase tower. The Grand Staircase awaited her, and she made sure to climb them quickly and leap over a few trick stairs so that she would not sink through.
By the time she reached the seventh floor, she was slightly out of breath from the jumping and running, but continued onward down the left corridor at the same fast pace. She slowed only once she'd spotted the The Troll Tapestry that was hung on the wall. With long, confident strides, Honey paced back and forth a little ways in front of the tapestry, her eyes shut tight and her mind picturing exactly what she needed. "Please work again," the young girl whispered to herself once she'd walked past it for a third time, "Por Favor." Honey opened her eyes to see the door of the Room of Requirement. Hesitantly, the girl pulled the door open and peeked inside. She fought the urge to squeal as she looked around the smaller, yet nearly exact replica of the Hogwarts Quidditch field. Sitting not too far away was a brand new Cleansweep Five, ready for her to break in. Honey yanked the door open and quickly slipped inside, closing the door quietly behind her. She didn't leave until she was confident that she would make the team.
{"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"}
Name: Andreas James Weaver
Age: Sixteen
Birthday: March 10th
Sex: Male
Ethnicity: Black/Cuban
Nationality: British
School Year : Fifth
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor: "You were ultimately placed in Gryffindor, but the Sorting Hat seriously considered putting you in Slytherin."
Boggart: Andre is extremely afraid of spiders, so the Boggart takes the form of a tarantula roughly the size of a dinner chair. When using the "Riddikulus" charm, the spider's legs turn into Pogo sticks and it struggles to move without bouncing.
Wand: Redwood wood with a phoenix feather core, 12 ¼" and brittle flexibility
Redwood Wand-quality redwood is in short supply, yet constant demand, due to its reputation for bringing good fortune to its owner. As is usually the case with wand lore, the general populace have the truth back to front: redwood wands are not themselves lucky, but are strongly attracted to witches and wizards who already possess the admirable ability to fall on their feet, to make the right choice, to snatch advantage from catastrophe.
Phoenix This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalize, and their allegiance is usually hard won. Favourite Lesson: Astronomy:Andre's favorite and best lesson is Astronomy. He enjoys learning about stars and the movement of planets, and has committed the names of stars, constellations, and planets, as well as their location and movements to memory. He's always been fascinated by outer space. In his free time, you'll often find him in Astronomy club or simply star-gazing.
Least Favourite Lesson: Charms:Andre has never been particularly great at Charms. Due to a slight lisp, he has a bit of trouble with pronunciation and gets frustrated very easily when trying his hardest.
Extracurricular Activities: Quidditch (Gryffindor Beater); Astronomy Club
Appearance: Andreas is a tall and lean black man standing at one hundred ninety-three centimeters tall, and weighing in at a little over ninety-nine kilograms. His skin is the color of honey and free of any blemishes, an exception being the vertical scar on his eyebrow from a childhood incident. His soft-curled hair is dense but yielding, and thick enough to lose your fingers in. He prefers to keep his hair neat and visits the barber on a weekly basis. There's a certain confidence in the way that Andre carries himself: good posture, long poised strides and his head held high.
His eyes are large, green, and almond shaped, and are fringed with long, curled eyelashes. He has a short, delicate nose and perfectly arched, dark eyebrows. His face is heart-shaped; he has high cheekbones and a sharp jawline. His lips are full and always moisturized, and when smiling, you can see that he has two rows of perfectly white teeth, a slight gap present between his front two teeth. Andre is, by definition, a "pretty boy" and takes a good amount of time out of his day to make sure that he is well-groomed and put together. Out of everyone in his family, he probably cares the most about personal hygiene.
When it comes to his fashion sense, Andreas likes to keep it simple. When out of uniform, you'll usually see him in pants or jeans, a colored T-shirt, and a pair of sneakers. When it's cold, he'll switch the T-shirt out for a solid colored sweater or wear a black, leather jacket over top of it. He does have his right ear pierced, and will alternate between a hooped earring and a stud.
Personality: Andre is a natural born leader, often taking control of the reins from others whose recklessness or dedication to facts and knowledge clouds his judgment. He is intelligent, but acknowledges that there are more important things in life, and therefore aims to use his intelligence and determination to fight for what he believes to be right. He also has a strong determination to succeed, even if it means that he must step on the toes of others in order to do so. A textbook introverted-extrovert, Andre loves to chat with people and tends to be genuinely friendly unless you give him a reason to behave differently. He does not shy away from talking to strangers, but tends to turn a few people off with his tendency to express his thoughts unconsciously and without restraint. Despite being chatty, he is very observant, and tends to notice things about his surroundings that others may not.
One downside of being an introverted-extrovert is that Andre often needs time to himself. While many see him as a very outgoing and sociable individual, he can only take in so much at a time; he'll need time after interacting to "recharge." During this time he can come off as a bit irritable and aggressive. Andre is also a perfectionist who holds high standards for himself, and has a tendency to be hard on himself if he doesn't accomplish his immediate goals. When in a bad mood, he will sometimes come off as conceited and cocky. Despite all of his shortcomings, there's no denying that Andre is extremely dependable. For the most part, he is a person who's kind and caring at the core and is usually willing to extend a helping hand to someone.
Andre's first year at Hogwarts was his worst; his grades were not as good as they could have been, and he spent more time goofing off with his friends than studying. He and his friends would often go around pranking the other students and ending up in a great deal of trouble, often resulting in him receiving a howler from his parents.
It wasn't until his second year that he started to get his act together. It was during that time that he discovered his fascination with Astronomy and his love for Quidditch, even though he'd never played until that year. He matured a great deal that year, and excelled in most of his lessons. Now, in his fifth year, Andre is more mature and goal-oriented than ever before. His youngest cousin, the only other wizard on his mother's side of the family, is now in his first year at Hogwarts, so Andreas does his best to make sure that he doesn't make the same mistakes that he did; he's constantly nagging him even though he's a lot more mature than he was at that age. He is now focused on his future; after travelling the world for a couple of years, he wants to become an Astronomy professor.
