Idk if this has been suggested/talked about already, but is there a way to keep specific people from viewing our profiles?

From a development point of view, it makes a bit more sense to prevent certain users from posting on your wall rather than stop their viewing of your profile. Blocking passive behavior is typically less fruitful than blocking specific activities (See: Streisand Effect). Telling someone they aren't permitted to view something may make them more inclined to view it by whatever means necessary, whereas not being able to post is more of a general curation sort of idea.

What if there was a "hidden" spot on the profile that you could block people from seeing then? like, if they're blocked from posting messages then they'd be unable to see the thing too?

Adding a block feature is important, but with new features that get added it does become harder to code for every type of block. Messages, PMs, VMs, Statuses, Views, etc. Eventually it may be something added, but there are more pressing issues.

@Vesuvius00 if you do believe someone is pestering you, send one of the staff members a PM and they can look into it. We can't, however, stop someone from viewing your profile. That's their choice and with this being a public site there isn't much you can do to stop it. You can however limit the amount of information you share (to which I can see you've already done)

@NuttsnBolts it hasn't gone that far yet, I'm just being cautious and wondering what options are. If a feature like this were added it'd be nice, but I agree that other things on the guild should probably be attended to first.

Just saw this, but reminds me years and years ago my Firefox had a coding issue and all my images started swapping around the page. For that I had to uninstall Firefox, remove all traces of it in the system files and reinstall it.

It would give a new look to the old, dusty profile we all have. This is just a suggestion for when other more pressing matters have been dealt with, though.

I mean, we've got a Bio section which allows full BBCode; the same as posts. I think that's enough customisation to be honest, any more and we'd risk sacrificing uniformity.

@Mahz I guess this would have been good to put into your survey for new features - but I hadn't thought of it at the time unfortunately.
My co-GMs and I have decided to retire recently and wish to pass on the GMship to a new team. But it appears that there is currently no way for members or mods to change the original GM of a thread. Would it be possible to somehow make that possible? Thank you very much :)

Since Mahz is in hibernation again, I'll give you the moderately short answer: no. There's not a function to change the GM of a thread, you'll either have to ask the new GM to make the thread all over again, or just Co-GM them and tell the players they're technically the GM.
