Dat exchange. I am sure there is a deeply tactical reason behind it all that I just have not taken the time to understand, but from here it just looks like the most exciting exchange of commands ever! XD

... How does the mine work?

Edit: So, the unit moving over it will take 10 damage and be forced to wait in place without doing anything. According to what it ways in the overall document, that is what I read, anyway. Haha.

Yeah. Also can't be placed over flight-only tiles like Pits/Cliffs/Deep Water. Can be placed on Peak and Shallow Water though.

... I am preeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure that Olsted intended that Iris and Destero was to land one square to the left of where it would seem that they have now landed, and that he was under the impression that when dropping a mine one does so on a square adjacent to the one the unit is currently standing on, and not on the same square. I'll say so because I myself was under the impression that was the case, only seeing the truth now looking at that latest batch of moves. If he wants to change that last one... which I'd assume, considering the damage I could cause from there... I'm entirely fine with that. The strategy kinda doesn't work as it looks now. I'm just saying.

... I'll just assume the mine has been dropped where he intended it to be dropped, then.

And wait for him to add that "flavor" before I do anything.

What happens when you kill someone that's paired up?

The supportive unit ends up on the tile where the leading unit was before s/he lost all health. I believe.

Or the closest possible, in the case of a supportive unit not being able to stand on the tile beneath, like a Pegasus carrying a Knight over the sea... ... ... I actually have no idea.

The support lands on the tile they were sharing. If it's an impassable terrain (cliff/deep-water) they land on the nearest traversable tile.

you'd have to check in battle with the Attack command, then if you like the statistics of combat you can use the Engage command to make the fight happen. but it's not your turn so you cant use commands yet.

Yeah remember to use both Attack and Engage when you're dealing with combat. If you only use Engage, you'll be forced into combat without knowing how the fight will go until it's over. If you're not careful, it can get your units killed easily. Attack was made as a separate command so that you can look at the odds and then choose if you wanna fight, just like in FE games.

So apparently getting home means falling asleep immediately and then getting sick the next day. Welp.

Regardless, it's done.

Two kinds of moves just in case someone is trying to trick me. I'm PRETTY sure nobody is trying to trick me, but just in case.

I honestly don't see what is so wrong with if-type commands. But eh.

Also, I don't necessarily expect flavor in return with every move, Olsted (and any other future person to play with me too, for that matter), play any way you want to. I won't mind, I am only writing it for my own personal satisfaction to play the characters I've created. Of course, if you want to write flavor, I don't mind that either. Haha.

Nah, I'm more than happy to write flavor. I personally find it fun to give my characters who have no known backstory or personality some life, if you know what I mean. There's no connection to the RP if it's like playing FE with no story IMO so it's fun to, in a way, make your own "story" without having to GM and/or write a super complex one.
